~20 of this is coming from auto-trading pools. So every market must be full of sell orders. I've been monitoring the price on cryptsy for past few hours and it's not moving, hundreds of millions of DOGE is being traded for the same price. Who is buying that insane amount? fontas, he will become a cryptocurrency billionare when the true doge pump happens. but why wouldn't he dump and buy cheap? he already did...dont you remeber 0.25 / per 1 million? sooooo.... why whouldn't he keep it low then? or dump it again?

I guess I have another explanation here - there was a lot of buy orders below 25 and now there is almost nothing, just few tens of BTC

multipool.us is about 10GH/s now and it's mining DOGE almost all the time wow. much power.
|
|
|
Did anyone noticed - even when multipool.us mining another coin it's still about 2990.5 MH/s on DOGE!! Why?
because multipool.us allows you to select which coin you want to mine by using a specific port instead of the multiport. Oh, that's explains what's going on. But I didn't see such behavior before today - it was always switching almost full hashpower - and now it looks like some miners changed their minds...

i think the price raise today is just trap from whales to get more coins to control market later ..
+1 so we will see it fall the next days -1 No one can manipulate the massive btc volume on doge daily! this is not quark. doge is not your standard coin. hmm.. guess i have to take my +1 out ... looking for a few hours now.... is something changed or is it me? can see no usual bulk sells... did everyone turned auto-sell off? EDIT: no, here they are, appeared just as i wrote this

Im pretty sure its not a multipool. For 1 i dont see why theyd sell in such tiny amounts when they must mine millions in next to no time. And also:
read my post above, could explain why they do the tiny amounts Yeh i think id agree if it was say every second. But to run sells at 5-20 times per second is crazy no? Multipool is currently on WDC and i see no similair pattern there. actually 1. miners have to wait for confirmations from pool till they get paid 2. there is some Auto Threshold on multipool.us every miner can set to *something* accordingly to their hashpower i guess 3. even then there is a time to wait for confirmations for withdraw from pool/deposit to Cryptsy 4. there are different rules for Auto-Sell feature on Cryptsy (you can sell now or put it on best price for example) ...so sometimes those who sells just comes all in one second that's how it looks for me

My 1.3 clients sync under OS X 10.9.1. Tested on my three systems (new Mac Pro, MacBook Air, Mac Mini Server).
hmm, thanks... I've got mid 2010. Have to find out what's wrong with mine then... also hope to get some replies from devs on github too. try repairing permissions? yes, already done but no luck Just in case anyone had the same problem I finally solved this issue by downloading 1.4 and redownloading whole blockchain from the scratch

Difficulty adjusting algo can be changed to counter multi pools. Its called "anti multi pool patch" or "anti flash mining patch". Some scrypt coins already have, DOGE will get it sooner or later.
With multi pools stopped, DOGE value will raise.
how does it work? @dogecoin any plans to implement this? If you think that this would be good for DOGE you are greatly mistaken. Just try to think outside of box for once. If multipools drop DOGE, then indeed DOGE value per coin would rise a little, but only on short term. It will stabilize around same profitability as any other coin and will stay on that price rage for a very long time and will not benefit for DOGE in long term. Why? I will tell you why: Multipool brings a lot of additional hash power. There are several benefits on that: 1 .block reward will be halfed much sooner. 2. block reward halfed = price doubled - assuming that net hash will not drop. 3. more hash = lower price point = more coins on market = more people can afford to step in. = more popularity. Its all connected and all good for DOGE in long term view. +1 to this ^

Admins, please start banning users that continue to post advertisements for their pools here... I'm nearing the point where I will stop watching this topic and I don't seem to be alone in that
Do what I have been doing, ignore them. Then report the post to a moderator, if everybody reports them.. maybe they will start banning them! +1 "Ignore" button make it much cleaner. such wow again What is going on? It is rising? Perhaps I should start to buy a few millions of Doges so that I can make more BitCoins with this animal. I think it's a bulltrap this rise, so I think it will go down again. The real rise will come soon are we going to hit 50?

such wow dump on cryptsy took a little longer to reach 65 than I thought time to buy I think it will break through that 12 btc 65 wall and fall to 62. Although buying now is a 60% discount on true value. +- 155 hmm, you were right about 65... anyway I'm gonna hold what I bought
