Hey all, I have put up a masternode to support the Dash network. Now, I was wondering, is there any general amount of payouts to each masternode on a weekly or monthly basis? What do other masternode owners see in terms of payouts? I've had my node running for a little more than 3 days without payouts so far, so I was just curious what others have experienced?
Also, I thought the voting for masternodes was over now? Should I look into the voting any more? Thanks all for your help!
http://178.254.18.153/~pub/masternode_count.png~2630 MNs https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dash/#!overview~550 blocks per day 2630 / 550 = ~4.8 days (i.e. 4 days and ~19 hours)

I don't think that would ever happen, he's a bitcoin snob I think if I had the choice of TanteStefana2's brain or mine I'd choose hers as I wouldn't have to work so hard and would be able to play guitar and go ski-ing instead of wasting my time thinking about the mechanics of money. That little sentence would have taken me an entire thread page, about 90 million pixels and a week of thinking to say the same thing. I love the way you described KISS principle

Hey guys I have a problem with my wallet... I have a wallet with a public key: CSZui5aZJZ3u27bLsjAL8Cn1TTzNfBkevQ I should have 9618.793144 C2.1 over there. http://c2chain.info/search is showing correct amount of coins. But my desktop wallet is showing 0.1. ...... I deleted all data 3 times and use bootstrap to sync my wallets. Wallet is still showing a balance of 0.1 C2.1. Anyone have some idea what can I do with it? Thanks in advance Best regards Help -> Debug window -> Console listaddressgroupings grab every non-zero balance address and run dumpprivkey CSomeNonZeroBalanceHereblablablablabla save output somewhere in some txt file line by line close wallet and backup wallet.dat rename wallet.dat to smth else for example wallet_old.dat open wallet (should generate new wallet and show 0 C2 now) Help -> Debug window -> Console for every line in your txt file run importprivkey LongLineFromThatFileIEOutputOfSingleAddressDump Could also require wallet restart to show correct balance - I'm not sure about this PS. > help listaddressgroupings listaddressgroupings Lists groups of addresses which have had their common ownership made public by common use as inputs or as the resulting change in past transactions
> help dumpprivkey dumpprivkey <Coin2.1address> Reveals the private key corresponding to <Coin2.1address>.
> help importprivkey importprivkey <Coin2.1privkey> [label] Adds a private key (as returned by dumpprivkey) to your wallet.

..... That moment when you realize your masternode was skipped for payment and you can't find it listed on the mn list site any more. VPS is humming along though so.... Wtf.
Had my second round of this nonsense. It's not on digital ocean by any chance? Very frustrating. Nope, not Digital Ocean. My dashd was completely gone from my VPS. Had to delete and start off brand new. Wtf Vultr, wtf. I never did breach my credit amount either. They just straight up cleared out everything installed on my instance except the OS. Bizarre. Bright side is I'm now on the .23 install so can vote for MN stuff....if only there was a guide. JL It's good to have latest software on MN but you only need local wallet to vote. How To VoteTo vote, simply copy your masternode.conf into your dash directory, open the software then execute the command “masternode vote-many yea” or “masternode vote-many nay”. To vote with a single masternode you can use the command “masternode vote yea” or “masternode vote nay”. To view the voting progress you will need to update your client due to a bug in the current version that clears out votes after 8 hours. Once you update this will not be an issue, the command to view the voting progress is “masternode list votes”. This is not a mandatory update, masternodes do not need to update, only users that want to follow the vote on their clients. Voting will begin immediately and be open for 2 weeks. We will consider the vote successful if at any time we have 51% of the masternodes support. To update visit https://www.darkcoin.io/downloads, this update is NOT required for anyone but those that would like to view the progress of the vote. https://dashtalk.org/threads/vote-self-sustainable-decentralized-governance-by-blockchain.4825/

bitcoinwisdom delisted cryptsy.. volume is low.. only counting bitfinex Chart is still there but it's weird - zoom out and you'll get what I mean. Could be some cross API issues or smth like that. https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/cryptsy/drkbtcEDIT: They think it's October now

Dash is a complete nightmare to do marketing and is a big mistake:( Sad that there was no voting about it. I am sure DASH would get >50%, because we discussed so many alternatives - all of them were much worse... "IX" was awesome. < > And a certain exchange might have squeezed it into their apparently hyperunstable frontrunning platform without exploding it. Yeah.. I can't find it tight now but I remember someone posted a long time ago that he was thinking of a new name like DIX and tried to get used to it by saying it loud "DIX... DIX... DIX..." and he was wondering why is his child so shocked or smth like that

... and a lot of interesting stats and info is also there thanks to poiuty who made this! Btw this site is mostly in Russian, use Google Translate interesting, i didnt know inflation is scheduled to decrease per 2016 thanks for the link. Supply is to be cut by 7% every 210240 blocks (which is ~1 year) EDIT: strictly saying inflation % != emission % emission % is calculated using amount of money issued while inflation % is calculated using goods prices at different points of time afaik

I think we all should calm down a bit and give bitfinex some time. I definitely wouldn't like to lose them just because we are pushing too hard and they have some reasonable issues adapting everything fast. This was announced to users and services a few days ago to give them time to prepare, but expect some coexistence of both brands for some time while everyone adapts. https://www.dashpay.io/news/darkcoin-is-now-dash/

Hello everyone https://github.com/UdjinM6/Coin2.1/releases/tag/v2.1.2added -zapwallettxes cmd line option to wipe unconfirmed txes out of wallet fixed .pro for mac and ubuntu builds (in a dirty way) version 2.1.2 compiled MacOS binaries (OS X 10.9+ only) Disclaimer:This is not an official release. I'm not a wallet dev for Coin2.1 - I'm a block explorer dev but I'm recently interested in coins development in general as some of you might noticed Saying that - feel free to compile Coin2.1 Qt-wallet by yourself if you want to. However if 1) you are a Mac user like me and 2) trust me enough - feel free to grab compiled Mac binaries I made for myself (dmg file attached there). I have no idea if this build works on your machine (though I hope so) so no warranties from me: if it doesn't - I'm sorry for disturbing you

I have no idea why Satoshi called this software a "wallet" while it should be a "key holder"
The correct term should be "keychain". It's a thing that holds all of your keys. Exactly!

Have a withdrawal of 49 DASH that I never made, happen on my masternodes wallet. The amounts look like MN payments... this has happened twice now...another wallet had 66 DASH withdrawn?
Did you or someone else set-up the masternodes? Is someone managing the nodes for you? Yes...splawik, but he's sleeping I'm sure. He's been awesome with helping me but I'm trying to also help myself and learn how this all works. Hm, he will find what happen himself or with help I'm sure. And I 'd like to know. I'm wondering if its because I have the wallet addresses mirrored from a master wallet to the 2 new wallets i created that its showing this. Like the coins are being pulled back to the master wallet....I know I'm not articulating this properly...but I hope it makes sense. There is a common misunderstanding about how wallet works and I'd like to make it clear once again: there are no coins in a wallet actually, only private keys. All your coins are always on blockchain and wallet just gives you access to them by "unlocking" them in blockchain with your private keys allowing you to move coins to another address (i.e. to be secured by another private keys). So when you have "mirrored addresses" you actually have private keys (i.e. access to your coins on blockchain) in both wallets and if you move coins in one wallet you actually move them on blockchain. And if you sent some from that second wallet to another address you might used some inputs from the address that 10MN-wallet knows about. Let me guess... Did you mix non-1K funds in your second wallet? NO! I'm not moron. These three wallets are only used for MN's! I do No NOT do transactions from these wallets. The setup is 1 main wallet on one machine, then w2 priv wallets with 10 MN's in each of the second priv wallets on 2 other machines. I these are all in separate machines, 3 computers. The main is not connected to the Internet. I have a 4th separate computer that has tx usable dash for mixing etc. And a 5th android device wallet as well exchange wallets. This whole ecosystem, IE All Crypto Currency, is not easy to understand or use. My back ground, for example, before the winery, I owned an IT company implementing network solutions with Novel and Windows NT, early 90's. Building systems for school boards and medical offices etc... When u had to set up IRQ and DMA settings on network cards on token ring and the cluster *#+a that was hardware back in the day. I Was one of the first companies to roll out digital xray systems for dental offices etcetera... So I know my way around computers and what I'm saying as I've said many times before this stuff it's NOT intuitive. Even Using wallets and it's features is NOT easy for everyday Joe. There seems to be a prevailing attitude among the crypto community, all crypto coins techies, suffer a lack of empathy for the average Joe. Err... I didn't mean it.. "All this crypto is very confusing and I want to help" - that what I tried to say and also to explain how it works.. Sorry if it sounded wrong.. I have no idea why Satoshi called this software a "wallet" while it should be a "key holder" or smth like that - I've seen lots of confusion coming from that. I had hard times personally explaining all this crypo to my close friend who also know his way around computer. I just know it's not that easy to get it. Anyway... mind sharing more specific info in email (txid for a start)? UdjinM6@dashpay.io

[off topic] [off topic] He makes some interesting points in that discussion but there is one problem - Russia actually annexed Crimea and invaded a small part of Eastern Ukraine with its military forces. First part is confirmed even by "president" of Russia itself in an official "documentary" film "Crimea. The way back Home." Second part is confirmed by many unofficial reports only yet but give it a time. It's a state-level terrorism. End of discussion. [/off topic] Ok, back to work Russia didn't annex Crimea out of the blue. There was a whole lot of actions that preceded it. Just prior to the "annexation" was the fact that 95.5% of voters in Crimea voted to join Russia. Anyway, it's all going according to plan: History Section ------------------------------------------------ 1 - Russia supplies Europe with gas to prevent it from freezing (captive market) 2 - Gutter (aka Qatar) has the 3rd largest supply of LNG (liquified natural gas) in the world behind Russia and Iran. 3 - Gutter buys a shitload of US debt 4 - Gutter can't move the gas to Europe because there is no pipeline, only ships which are more expensive 5 - USA, Saudi Arabia, and Gutter would like to build a pipeline through Syria that will connect with Europe 6 - In order to topple Syria, Russia (which backs Syria) must be weakened 7 - The US takes out the elected government in the Ukraine by Coup De Etat, replacing it with more "westerners" to fuck with Russia 8 - Saudi Arabia crashes the price of oil to fuck with Russia
Future Events Section ------------------------------------------------ 1 - The US, Saudi, Guttarian plan will fail as Russia will not collapse 2 - The US Petrodollar will no longer be the reserve currency of the world 3 - DarkCoin will become the new reserve currency of the world
simple.
Russia is not collapsing: DASH (DarkCoin) can become... "Eventually, I believe Dash will position itself as a direct competitor to Bitcoin." -- Evan Duffield 15/04/2015 I wouldn't call that process "vote"... Right before "vote" Crimea was already occupied by so called "polite people" (i.e. Russian military forces). And even if I would... Was there at least the same "vote" in Russia itself on the same point?... No. That picture is ok if you count from Jan 2015 (1$ = 65p, now it's 1$ = 50p). Count from Sep 2014 (1$ = 34p) and you'll see the real picture. [/off topic] Anyway, I like the 3rd part of Future Events
