Becouse when you in top 10 crypto you will always have enemies.
If you are pool and sick you don't need even enemy is that clear ?

the current problem isn't trolls. The problem ist that some people who consider themselves leading/important members of this community are slinging mud at each other. leaders always argue no matter what...(to get better position and show who is male "alfa" ) in real life is the same all leaders know better from my 7 years experience.(while sometimes they know shit and they are very dump) You just need to realize that Ironic have his master his plan going on top like antipancer bullet hitting tank. while Soepkip is guy who acts slowly but he is hard working building something BIG. ...anyway in PR he is king of brave ideas we need all people on board. But all people makes mistakes me you IE Soepkip Gitt... IE is guy who is specific but he deliver promises that part of him i like the most. Look from distance what he is saying he is perfect example of authoritative / charismatic leader who is leading you to battle and he play that role very well. (he behaves like CEO of big company) Sometimes with only view on his own plan. But is better to have than to not have it. I support all people who are working for BC and respect them even Gitt who made some mistake but he wanted good next time he will think twice before he will say/write one word to much. I actually trade the coins every night or every two nights. I am not making any profit off the donations. However, one member specifically asked me not to trade his donation in until a few days before the event. I respected his wishes
Let me get this straight, people donate money to you for a campaign and you GAMBLE it? I dont think thats appropriate behaviour under ANY circumstance. Thats borderline Fraud and your credibility totally out of the window. This time you threw yourself under the bus. I understand there might be a language barrier so I will try again. I trade the coins every night or two into fiat. I trade the coins it into dollars since I can't pay for the services in BlackCoin. I have no clue if the price is going to go up or down, so I have to convert the coins every few days. So you are dumping! That's why we shouldn't donate in BC! Just kidding  |

 Weeks ago I suggested in IRC that we make crop circles all over the world to promote Blackcoin. We tossed around how we could make it work, how much media coverage it could get, if we could even get farmers to let us destroy their crops in the name of Blackcoin... well, community. The time has come. We have to try this. I can no longer ignore the rising support for #BlackCoinCropCircles.ANNOUNCING:The BlackCoin
Crop Circle Project.............. ............ The BlackCoin Cropcircle Project will be organized on IRC, #blackcoinpool. Join in!lol. this is new Ok for this one, I'm a farmer first of all, and BC holder since march 2014. What I can say about this project, is that I can be made MUCH easier than than with AG technology/GPS. I'M a corn grower and with my equipements, when I plant my corn, I can load a pre-seeding map on my monitor, that will shut the corn seeding row preciselely via GPS, so doing images like that is kinda easy now. SO less work, less plant wasted (ne destruction because was not seeded first time.) BUT: this project will be viewable only in july-august, because crops arent seeded as yet. just wondering... can you plant something different there instead to make it even more contrast/awesome? EDIT: if you do not plant anything wouldnt be there a lot of grass or smth? |

I'm following BlackCoin since the price was 2k and I finally realized the formula: BlackCoin = never ending drama What that means to me is that people really DO CARE of that coin and its future and taking it seriously but not just another PANDA-style. Just love it! ...there is 50% trols creating that drama part eg. Soepkip<>IronicExpert they have diffrents wievs on coin that is all. But bro when one fails 2nd will be moving forward. When you have one vision you are in deep shit at the end. Look at bright site of that action.That's what I do  And btw there is real drama sometimes - I was on IRC when RadioStatic appeared and said he cannot sleep and cannot keep up the work on multipool and suddenly SoepKip entered the chat and "picked up the fallen flag". That was like some movie action you know, I just can't forget it Now few words for those people who are complaining about IconicExpert "ego" and so on - there was times when nobody know anything about is Iconic legit or not. Let my give you some old post overview: I will happily donate as well, but not until I see some results. And yes, for the obvious possibility if you must wonder why. I'm not accusing anyone of anything, but the BC community doesn't have a premine to work off of, so we do need to be extra careful.
If you want the community to invest their own time and money in improving BlackCoin, then this type of mentality must change. I have no interest or desire to rip off a community I am currently active in for roughly $600.00 USD. I made the address public and separated the contribution wallet from my personal wallet so everyone can keep track. I would like to point out, every time you mine on a pool, and every time you send your coins to an exchange, you are trusting the person on the other end will not "rip you off". I'm sure you will not rip us off  . The reason why I wait is I don't have much community funds to throw around at the moment and i'd like the investments from that side to be profitable for the coin. Maybe next time we can use an escrow thus to combat the inherent trust issue that will always live within the crypto community. But sometimes you have to decide for yourself and make your choice. I guess I made the right one. Ok, I'm not so sure as Soepkip but I red IconicExpert's last posts and I hope he is a good guy 500 BC sent 585e214826c6c75367af87a37fbbde8b6d5b055b14a313c6003eea259ff3f7c5 Make it happen! And he did his job. And he did his job many times after. To make it even clearer - he is one of not so many who actually doing something. And I can understand why he is defending so hard his way of thinking - a lot of value was brought as the result of his doings and he wants to go even further so he just trying not to throw it in the basket... oh, wait... look at this blue-ish letters in quotes above. I think he mentally became a part of a dev team To sum it up:
Both SoepKip and IconicExpert are doing their best I believe. And the community should listen to both of them (and others who are doing something), think wisely and then just "vote" with their support.is this KingSchultz trustable? never seen him around I guess

also for those saying that PR firms are bad investments for startups, ya you are correct. but blackcoin and cryptocurrency aren't traditional startups. this will not only benefit BC but the entire crypto industry and place BC brand at the forefront of peoples mind when they think crypto or bitcoin
It's usually a bad investment for startups because money is better spent on coding development to improve a product... So.. who's doing that with BC? I bet there's a lot we can do with $15k to improve at least wallet functionality.. maybe some little coin new features here and there (without forking). Do we have some devs on retainer that we can hire with the donations? +1 For example, we've been waiting for android wallet for a long time - why not set a prize say $1K for this? Another one is light wallet (like miltibit or multidoge) - another $1K. And so on... These things would make sense for me. |

Now Live: http://blackcoindirectory.com/I started this early this morning when I realized we really didn't have a concise directory of everything Blackcoin! I aim to make this a very useful page for anyone who holds Black, but especially for new users. Something we can quickly post all over the web whenever someone needs information.. etc. And I needed a simple project to get back in the development groove. Consider this alpha version, but it should be usable enough for now. It's simple, no BS. I'll keep working on it when I have time. Planning to: 1) Add sub-categories (merchant product types and others), 2) Code the site better for all screens/sizes, 3) Add a dynamic way to suggest or vote off links, 4) Tighten up the design, add a bit more to it. I'll do something bigger/more fun for BC after this. It would be really helpful if some of you could look through and see where we can add links - merchants, tools, services, etc and either post here or PM me. Everything Blackcoin should be there. Why are we using women? It seems trashy and gives BlackCoin a bad image.
Lets face it sex sells and almost every brand uses sex to sell. Women all dressed alike will garner the attention of everyone and that is what we want. The women will be dressed in black BlackCoin T-Shirts and black jeans or leggings. They will not be dressed trashy, nor will anything inappropriate be exposed. It will be tasteful and the women we hire will have a certain professionalism. No matter if you agree with using women or not, men love to see attractive women. And men will stop and talk, interact with the women, and of course take pictures. By the end of the day BlackCoin Beauty pics and videos will be all over the net.
Good point about the pictures. I didn't think about that. You should let the ladies know to use a specific hashtag when guys are posting up the pic. Come up with a good one like #blackcointakeover or something. Have 1 lady hold up a huge sign with #blackcointakeover so any random bystander who takes a pic will have the correct hashtag or QR code. good ideas!! just brainstorming a bit but to add, iconic mentioned earlier a possibility was to go big and maybe do a $$ giveaway in blackcoin or something as a promo that day. maybe after a hashtag is decided upon, we can do a smaller giveaway for those who tweet with that hashtag (can that even be tracked to do?). Just thinking of how it can get trending/more exposure virally. or do a QR code or something that directs them to the blackcoin facebook page and a giveaway will be done for those who 'like' it? First thing's first is getting the funds to even do the Wall St. even but just thinking out loud! Could just randomly add BC to BlackCards handed out that day? 1 lucky guy gets 1000 BC. 2 with 500 BC. 4 with 250 BC. At the worst, you get a bunch of people figuring out how to check their balances in their BC wallet. Actually I think every Blackcard should have some BC. Like 10? Then they can see how awesome staking works. Unlike our altcoin competitors, you don't have to wait 2 days or 2 weeks to see it happen.  Really like that one! So this could be some kind of a win-win lottery actually. Everybody wins but few will get more then the others - and if you mention this while giving them cards I guess even more people will try to use it! |

I like his actions i support ideas but i don't see him as PR face like Soepkip.
Anyway if that Wallstret community project will succeed he should be invited into core IMO.And calm down. IronicEcpert - is important guy here. He made for BC more that 95% people here...I would agree with both of "bolds" but... a lot of questions came out. Who the hell is Gritt N. Auld and what he did exactly to do some BC marketing? Why is he in the core? Is he better then IconicExpert at marketing? Is he active enough? I'd like to read some of his recent posts now. What's his nick here on bitcointalk? |

Agree 100% these Foundation guys are acting Like idiots, really idiots, someone pushing this up, a huge event never seen before and this guys don't support it....  ?? I mean what the hell? Are they Jelous because they are not able to get the same attention as you are getting? Really I don't understand and I'm very disappointed with these Foundation guysYou are saying "they", "these" and "guys", this is just one guy. Let's try not to create a "them" and "us" situation. This is a problem with a single individual. Many coins self destruct when things like this get out of hand. No he is right...it is not just one person. A lot of people here are frustrated but scared to come out publicly because they are scared to be flamed. That comment made by Gritt is the sentiment of most of the dev team. I was emailing friends at well known companies the article to see if I could get BlackCoin some official sponsors for the event, and I was embarrassed to have them read that BS. This is not true. This is one guy. The foundation does not even exist yet. +1 This is one guy. Let's stop now guys. How is this helping blackcoin? This has to be sorted publicly. I make it very clear I do not speak for the "official" dev team. However, Gritt posted his comment as the "official" comment of the development team. If the development team did not authorize him to do that, then he needs to go because he is making comments without authorization. I agree and addressed this to Gritt yesterday. There will be a foundation which will "officially support" (and invest in) projects and it will most likely be a community driven effort with some key figures addressable by investors and developers. However, at this point any mention of the blackcoin foundation is NOT official. --- Troiste, keep it down. I support the Wall St. promo and so does Soepkip. rat4 is the only real developer/ core team and I don't know what he thinks- but it's not the point. The rest of the team is everybody here. Some people are willing to control the coin more than others and that is what we see here. It will be futile in the end, no one guy can try to steer this. I will as less support a foundation that doesnt reflect (at least a good part of) the community as you will. As will everybody here.

I have been able to recover the wallet.dat file with McKie's assistance. I'm sure he wouldn't mind me posting the method that he described, for people who might run into the same problem in the future: 1.) Click the Finder icon on the dock
2.) press Command+SHIFT+"G" to "Go to the folder"
3.) Input "~/Library" and hit RETURN.
This will bring you into your logged-in user's Library folder. From there you can navigate to Application Support folder and look for a folder called "Blackcoin", somewhere in there lies your wallet.dat file.
Thanks McKie, 50BC heading your way. I just redownloaded mac wallet once again and it works just fine for me. I can remember now that I had similar problem with another coin and it was all about security settings. Check your config, maybe it helps. My settings are  Followed this, and the Blackcoin-Qt v1.0.6.0 is still not opening. It doesn't come up with an error message anymore... instead it bounces in the dock once and that is it. Strange. So you've recovered the wallet.dat but still can't run BlackCoin-QT? Might be corrupted blockchain or smth. Try this then: 1. save your wallet.dat in some safe place2. delete the whole Blackcoin folder you found earlier (or rename it) 3. try to run BlackCoin-QT once again (it should start to redownload blockchain and will create new wallet.dat) 4. if it finally starts and working good - replace new wallet.dat in Blackcoin folder with the one you saved earlier EDIT: try to follow SoepKip advice first VVVVVVVVV |

50 BC FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN ASSIST WITH A MAJOR PROBLEM I AM HAVING
I have been using Mac OS X Mountain Lion. Previous version to the latest version of Blackcoin-Qt installed. I have about 45,000 BC stored in my wallet.
Last night I made the error of updating OS X to Mavericks. This morning, now that it is installed, the Blackcoin-Qt icon that was once on the dock is simple a ? icon. The Application has been removed somehow (Darkcoin-Qt and Cinnicoin-Qt are working as usual). I went to blackcoin.co and downloaded v1.0.6.0 of Blackcoin-Qt, and when I open it it simply says "Blackcoin-Qt is damaged and could not be opened".
WTF is happening here? Is there a way for me to find the wallet file on my computer? Why is the latest Blackcoin-Qt not working with OS X Mavericks?
YES! I was having the SAME problem a few pages back! I could not resolve the issue no matter what I did and gave up and put my wallet on my Bootcamped Windows 8.1 installation. I think it is broken Edit: Messaging you to help you now. I just redownloaded mac wallet once again and it works just fine for me.
