1261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 💰⛏ 💰⛏ 💰⛏ ICE ROCK MINING ICO2 - LIFETIME PROFIT on: March 29, 2018, 02:55:11 PM
Hi Dias

Tell me please how much profit you are expecting from one ASIC (S9 I guess).
I found in your ICO calculator 30$ profit from each ASIC daily. Is it true?
Does it mean all your campaign is based on this calculation?
Or there is something we don't understand.

Hello, Sir!

In case of S9 miner we expect nearly 10-15$ per day, but very likely we will get much better miners that will deliver us more than 35$ in a day!

You posted that today.
Today mining difficulty is 3.46254239119e
Today Bitcoin price is ~ $7345.

Explain how you get $10-$15 per day from an S9.

What miners are these that are ~3X better than an S9?
Who makes them?
When are you getting them?

So, the Inspirational Leader is dead and his Right Hand Man is a fraud under a false name.
What happens next?
I'm sure that the rest of the scammers involved in this heist won't want to miss out on all you kiddies' ICO money.
So, how are they going to spin it.....?
1263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Is MAVRO the most ridiculus ICO (that doesn't look like a joke)? on: March 29, 2018, 08:41:37 AM
In any rational world, when the inspirational "Father" of a scheme dies and the "Creator" of that scheme is shown to be fictional then you'd expect it to disappear and never be heard of again.
But this being ICOland, I'm sure that the motley combination of Mavrodi fanboiz and FOMO kiddies will be far too tempting to ignore for the seasoned scammer organization that has put up the seed money for Marvo (sic) so far.

Not that it will make any difference to Alex and the rest of the scammers, but the Main Mavro Man just died.
RIP Sergey.

Ignore these bagholders trying one last pump.

1268  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Best way to profit from Cloud Mining - BitForx.com [Official Thread] on: March 20, 2018, 03:28:25 PM
Help me understand something, if you would be so kind.
On your Facebook you posted on 5th December that, two months after launch, you sold out of hash rate.
Quote

QED it was ~ 5th October that you launched, i.e. started selling cloud mining.
Today is 20th March.
That's about five and a half months.

Would you care to comment on how this is possible?

I personally use bitforx.com for over 6 months already, its really handy because of they boosted their wallet features recently and you can use it as an online wallet + cloud mining, which makes it better than the competitors for me Smiley

Would be handy to have that expressed in a simple line chart (x axis=time) viewed by hovering the title.
1270  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: DagCoin: a cryptocurrency without blocks on: March 18, 2018, 05:01:54 PM
LOL, does this sound familiar?

It does, resemblance with Bitcoin Onecoin is uncanny.  Cheesy

FTFY.

As has been pointed out a number of times, the original post was not about an altcoin.

Quote from: D5000
DagCoin is not an altcoin. It is a concept that originally was meant to be used as a Bitcoin sidechain.

Along the way, this thread has been hijacked in order to promote a scheme concocted by a group with no technical background in crypto, but who are using a hard sell MLM structure to market bogus educational packages (DagUniversity!) to gain exposure to

Quote from: github
Dagcoin uses byteball network as an underlying platform.

They also state on github

Quote from: dagcoin
Our mission is to provide alternative currency for everyday using, focusing on Asian market to help unbanked people manage their funds better.

This is similar to the blahblah mission statement of the currently unravelling huge Onecoin scam

Quote from: onecoin
OneCoin company's vision – to provide access to financial services to everyone, including the “unbanked” people around the world.

It is not therefore surprising to find that the upper management of this Dagcoin are ex Onecoin "Ambassadors".
(Ironically Onecoin, despite its claims, never had a blockchain and Byteball doesn't either, but for differing reasons.)

The idea of investing in a coin infested with the likes of Nils Grossberg and "Mighty Eagle" Kari Wahlroos, selling thru bogus "educational packages" with compulsory lock in periods is frightening, let alone the fact that the coin is based on Byteball technology involving trust in a small number of centrally selected witnesses.

when will this future come? What are you doing now?
In process

lol

Thank you, we are updating the website, and will finish in 20 to 30 days

Who are you anyway?
Anyone can make an account called Official_EDRC.
Like someone attempting one last pump and dump with bullshit offers and news/no news.

1272  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Asicminer.co has anyone heard of this company? on: March 16, 2018, 10:09:47 PM

this unknown site.

Haha, unknown is the last thing the asicminer.co site is my friend, read some history. That's part of my interest. And also explains reactions like this.

Asicminer is toxic.

explain why you're saying this: " Asicminer is toxic. "

Deep frustration about huge losses.
I tried to prevent new users making the same mistakes I made several years ago. See post above from tmfp.

I don't know the techinical stuffs about mining

The technical stuffs are appropriate, whether they are vaporware is another matter.

They take PayPal but charge a 15% "fee". Translation: what we really want is those sweet irreversible bitcoins, but we'll pretend to take PayPal so you'd think we're 100% above board.

Oooooh, you cynic you.

... besides why would really bother to buy into unknown sites if there are places or common spot on where most people do purchase on?
Quote
If you want to buy the ASIC hardware, Bitmain site is right place book your order

A quite convincing case can be made for describing Bitmain's present monopoly as "toxic."

I think they would suit IceRockMining actually. They're so quiet they could incubate unicorns in them in their Kazakhstan cave, whilst still returning 300+% ROI.

Thanks we are working hard on our project.

Is that you, Sergei Panteleevich? Loved your book, but we have always known you were a good storyteller..
Or is it you, Victor Geld, co-founder? I mean Alex...
Github's looking a bit quiet, nearly ready to scam go, are we?

1276  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: cryptominingfarm is trusted? on: March 16, 2018, 04:54:07 PM
CryptoMiningfarm It not easy start the mining farm. So before start the mining learn the process. So check the value of money save then invest. Is a new cloud mining company and investment opportunity that wants to give people a way to utilize high quality cryptocurrency mining with guaranteed profits. People will be learn more information for the future improvement.

WTF does that mean??
I realize you post two lines of Google translated garbage as a matter of course to get your sig money, but if you are going to spray your bullshit in support of an obvious Ponzi scam, then you're going to get negative trust for it. Pal.
1277  Other / Meta / Re: Who the hell is "nullius" the guy is too smart around here :) on: March 16, 2018, 04:13:28 PM
Alhough nullius has here stood accused of creating artistic alternative realities in cipherspace, he would never plan do anything like serializing an erotic Bitcoin novel under an alt account.  Never!

I am nobody’s, and my love is nobody’s.  Whereas I would do anything for Bitcoin.

... We are also Planning to add a Calculator in Future

I would maybe think twice about that.
As you say, independent calculators are widely available, whereas an on-site one would leave you open to criticism of an implied ROI which, as you know, is difficult territory for cloud mining providers. They are also widely used by scam sites.
As you will find, customers can be very sensitive to variations in payments (i.e. difficulty adjustments) which are beyond your control.
1279  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Asicminer.co has anyone heard of this company? on: March 16, 2018, 09:02:44 AM
Bizarre.

If the name "friedcat" doesn't mean anything to some of you newer members, I suggest that you check out this megathread and read one of the Big Stories of Bitcoin's journey.
Also this for a coffee break read.

Re the OP, bells ring immediately with a newbie "has anybody heard of..." type one post, especially on this topic, but the website checks out as "authentic". However, the opaque way in which friedcat organized the original Asicminer and the passage of time make it impossible to know who is effectively in charge of it now.
Again bizarrely, I have the completely unjustifiable reluctance to discount that this may be "real" on some level BUT....it's pre-order, make it a big NO-NO.
Fascinating development though, in a fascinating saga, it's like Kurt Cobain releasing a new record.

Hahaha... I'm afraid your glasses are not around: I stated above: By being paid in LTC / BTC or the relevant currency that I am reviewing.

No, I had them on.
Anyway, you answered my question. Puff pieces.
