HI.
One of my A 900 baikal does not see one of the blade.
When I(pool) change the algorithm from 11 to any other, one of the blades does not see =(
Why?
Another one A 900 works fine.
wrong thread.  please go to the baikal thread as you have a hardware, not a pool problem =)

D3's can mine any X11 which we currently have 60 X11 coins on the pool. It mines what it feels it can get the best profitability from. They're not just for DASH.

Can u explain me how to do that please?
This is one example :

Coin to mine : ( name ) Ozzie (symbol ) OZC
Algo : X11
My exchange Ozzie address : XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
My exchange Bitcoin address : LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
Your example config : -o stratum+tcp://<algo>.mine.zpool.ca:<PORT>#xnsub -u <WALLET_ADDRESS> [-p c=<SYMBOL>,<OPTIONS>]

D3 input fields are :
URL :
Worker :
Password :

Thank you
Cheers

OK, this is the second time we will be giving you the same answer.  See my bold highlights above.

Your device mines in this pool on an algorithm, not on one specific coin.

Pick the algo (in this case X11),
put in the information to connect to the X11 port (URL+port): stratum+tcp://x11.mine.zpool.ca:3533#xnsub

Now;  pick your payout type:  Pick which coin you want to be paid out in.  I HIGHLY SUGGEST BTC, NOT AN ALTCOIN.  Put that payout wallet address in the username field.

Now based on what algo you are mining (X11) and what wallet type you are getting payed in, you need to update your password to reflect that:  I.E.   c=BTC,X11

YOU CAN NEVER PICK WHAT COIN THE POOL WILL WORK ON MINING.  THE POOL WILL ALWAYS PICK ON ITS OWN.  YOU ONLY PICK WHAT COIN THE POOL WILL PAY YOU IN.

I want to start using Zpool and need some help to make sure I do it correctly.

I'm going to rent from nicehash and mine Scrypt coins, and get paid in BTC.

1) I also would like to be able to monitor balances.. available, unconfirmed, paid, etc.. But I don't see anyway to register an account? (On the front it says no reg required, but I see people talking about their unpaid balances, etc. in this thread so there must be a way to monitor how much you have earned.)

2) What's the payout structure for the scrypt coin switching port? Exponential, proportional, PPLNS, etc.?

3) Where are the servers located? Nicehash has US and EU servers. Might as well choose the closest I can.

4) The hashrate is going to be quite high.. Anywhere from 10 GH/s to possibly several TH/s. How do I not mess up difficulty?

5) Nicehash doesn't always play nice with every pool.. I want to make sure I avoid the pitfalls of nicehash + zpool.

6) What are the exact steps to do this so I don't mess it up and wind up mining x11, having a -70% delta or losing all my coins in a random catastrophe?
I added numbers to answer.

1) no need to register an account;  just have a payout account (see above about BTC recommendation and on zpool.ca frontpage) and use it as a username.  it will wipe if not used for over 6mo and be forfeit.  plenty of time to mine enough to claim a payout.  You click the wallet tab on top, and input your wallet payout address to see the current stats.

2)PPLNS.  We are all paid our % share for everything we worked on.... once a block is found, our % is reset for the next block.  Deltas upon disconnect only last a few min.  Crackfoo may know the exact number, probably not though... its a part of the main pool yiimp code.

3) North America... I think US, possibly Canada.

4) leave difficulty alone;  stratum will handle it.  you would need to set difficulty in the password field such as: c=BTC,scrypt,d=1000

5) Zpool plays nice with nicehash

6)
URL: stratum+tcp://scrypt.mine.zpool.ca:3433
USER: [BTC Wallet Address]
PASS: C=BTC,scrypt

Above SUb BTC with AUR, DASH, Etc..... I just recommend BTC because the pool wont have to mine enough to pay you, as well as sell a share of those earned payout coins others did in order to pay them as well....  hopefully you can grasp what I am advocating.    Altcoins are regularly delayed if they are high diff or high in demand.
1262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Quiet DGB miner on: October 25, 2017, 04:42:11 AM
3x 1080ti;  mine on a DGB pool on the skien side.

make it an open air rig, with a few fans that blow fresh air across the rig.   Should stay pretty quiet if the cards have proper spacing (easy on a 3 card open air rig).

shove it in a corner and let it fly.

Detection name:  Win32/Tilken.B!cl
Application version:   EWBF 0.3.0b

Was originally downloaded from this thread's mega link.

Just sharing my findings.

The troan was badly implemented; and broke the software after a short time.   I never really mined equihash much at all, so I didn't notice until I got a detection the other day.  The software worked ~3-4 months ago when it was a new current release.

I will continue to dissect the application and compare it to other versions.  Lets see what it was trying to do to us.

I can seal up a copy that I have to upload for inspection by others if they wish.

Seeing all the initial comments on page 1....   kinda not funny right now in my mind.

Dear dev pool,
I mined a mount of ELM coin and I added ELM wallet address (EKyqXkB5yxdexouAy2esVnfTs7sPmkSY16). On the pool page, I got totally 1914.32587887 XVG, but until now I haven't received any coin on my ELM wallet.
And then I added another one  ELM wallet address (EHMhcVQf3sKDYeg48c9DbkmvoQVik4cH9H) and mined also. I got about 95 XVG  but no coin be paid to my wallet.
Please show me how can I take my coin!
Thanks alot

ok.

You dod not follow the directions on the zpool.ca main page.

you must specify in the password that your wallet address is an ELM address... i.e. c=ELM.
you must verify that our pool indeed does mine ELM, and enough to meet your payout amounts to pay you out for your credits.  I personally have no clue as I don't recognize the coin ID myself.

the two wallet addresses you provided made the pool default to XVG;  which is not ELM;  thus;  you would need an XVG private key for the address: EHMhcVQf3sKDYeg48c9DbkmvoQVik4cH9H to spend those XVG funds as an example.
There's no way to recover what you have mined in that address otherwise.

Please re-read the main zpool.ca homepage and read the important details about setting the password and claiming payment in anything other than BTC.

Thanks let me know how you get on, i downloaded my current EWBF from link above and scanned it with Defender No warnings.. ill go through my older 1.7xx bins and check them to..

Awesome.  If not;  its gotta be one of the ones from the EWBF thread on this site... only two places I would have got it from.

Its only one machine that gave me an alert for it strangely.

I think I remember it coming from a megaupload link;  I'm not sure if you used mega back when you uploaded entire packages.

*sorry for cluttering crackfoo, ill be starting a new thread shortly to move this discussion if it needs to be continued in depth...

Hashtap seems to be a source for exploitation by hackers so I doubt I will bring it back unless I'm able to source a developer to create a completely new frontend.

I found a trojan recently in a very widely used ewbf miner windows build....   Thank god I never used it on my personal machine, or much at all.  It might possibly be the one I linked on my original batch post.  I need to check my memory on that one.  I may have used the same copy from a nemosminer package long ago....  I haven't the slightest clue at this point since I haven't mined equihash, much at all.  Just wasn't as profitable for me.

This just shows;  be sure you guys are careful.  I am usually extremely careful, and somehow this one slipped through the cracks.

"I may have used the same copy from a nemosminer package long ago...."

are you saying it came from me?

i have my own latest EWBF download here: https://github.com/nemosminer/EWBF-Zec-Miner/releases/download/0.3.4b/0.3.4b.7z

Regards
Nemo

Possibly, or one earlier version.  I am going to put it in a sandbox and get the file and version details so we can all be on the same page.

I know I used a few miner versions such as the skien spmod and alexis78, but I don't recall if I used the ewbf or one from your scripts 'pull' links off your github.

We can compare notes; and in no way was I trying to point any fingers or employ something I don't know FYI.  Once I had more info past a detection warning from defender on a miner the other day; I planned to make more contact to be sure nobody else was effected.

I have 0.00457101 in my total unpaid, yet there was no payout today.   Is there something wrong with payouts?  Also what happen to hashtap?

I show a payment in BTC 23 hours ago... Are you seeing the same?
1269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sixth alt coin thread I forgot to mod last thread. on: October 23, 2017, 09:51:26 AM
Yeah.  I am big on EVGA flat-out.

Ever since the 700 series cards, the quality went up considerably...

My current gaming card (that mines the rest of the time) is an EVGA 1070 FTW DT3;  The cooler is massive... its 2.1 bays wide pretty much.  if you cram it next to another card it throttles pretty fast.... but oah man... I get way better cooling and efficiency out of every one of my EVGA cards compared to my ASUS or other branded ones.  My 960 generation cards are a prime example.  Been very happy with the performance of this card all around.

hashtap comes and goes;  I think it has to do with updates it does or something;  crackfoo can comment further.

OK, this is mainly a reply if you are speaking of getting paid out in BTC.  if you are getting paid in ANY other coin;  re-read the main page of zpool.ca, as well as read back the last ~20-30 pages to see the explinations of why payments can be delayed for alts.

Payouts are delayed sometimes;  usually because of an exchange issue, or some other extraneous problem.  Give it a little time, and it should go through.
1271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sixth alt coin thread I forgot to mod last thread. on: October 23, 2017, 03:38:33 AM
fyi:  I have bought strix video cards.

They are good quality;  but the cooler design is pure garbage.  not as efficient as it should be, and is poorly mounted and is easily disturbed requiring a re-paste if you bump it wrong.  Literally only the 4 sprung points and one other are all that attaches the weight of the cooler and the massive shroud to the board/die.
1272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: █▓▒░-< [ZPOOL.CA][HashTap™][FlexFee™][SegWit] The miners multipool >-░▒▓█ on: October 22, 2017, 04:42:12 AM
Hi.
Why is it so long is the exchange for BTC in sha256 algorithm?
Previously, it was much faster...

I have a S9.
Could this depend on?
- the password field is written c=BTC
- accepted=460, discarded=7900, getworks=1450
- written #xnsud

Correction;  its #xnsub; maybe you posted a typo Wink

The exchange is long for many reasons:  Either a buyer is needed and not present, the coins haven't matured enough yet (blockchain/wallet stalled? network problems? grossly large amount of confirms needed before it can sell?), etc... there are many reasons why it would take time to get your earnings fully exchanged.   Remember, its working on the principal of others buying.... which there isn't always others buying them all the time.

To maintain proper protocols, the password should be:
c=BTC,sha256

the stratum address needs to have stratum+tcp://sha256.mine.zpool.ca:3333#xnsub to enable it in the S9 from what I recall.

As far as difficulty being set manually;  from memory (i suggest reading back on this thread and the original one to figure out for sure) the diff should be ~16,000
1273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: gpu bubble well and truly bursting on: October 20, 2017, 08:14:13 PM
Need to start account farming...

It can easily net me more than 1000w of the latest mining equipment...  Kinda crazy the more I think about it.

This current profitability thing (right now) is just the phase of mining gear going online/offline because of season.....   Wait for it to stabilize.  There are always extreme lows when the network gets saturated.

yeah  I used to do well with signatures myself.   But  my gpus and my s-9's and my avalon's  are all okay.

I have earned  around 4000 usd  on gpu mining since  the op wrote  the title to this.

I have never seen a more poorly titled thread then this one.  Bubble has yet to break. In fact wait till btc gold comes on the 25th.

amen...   Things are still steadily moving along; kinda how they always have been.....   which is amusing sitting here looking at 0.0155BTC being worth almost $100....

People tend to think only as far as they can taste, smell or see sometimes... and when its see; its only usually something right in front of em, or else they are flat out blind to it.
1274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: October 20, 2017, 08:10:06 PM
All I did was mine and autoexchange to BTC when matured via zpool.

Never lost out.   I guess its a way of ensuring it is such by lessening risk with any of these endeavors.

I never act on promise as most have.  I act on what is the best avenue to approach this opportunity for profit with the least amount of risk to myself while still standing the chance to gain the most.

I end up acting on what is; not what "is supposed to be" or, "will be" or... whatever uncertain principal there may be.

Hopefully you guys who have felt the burn from this one can understand me in why I am saying this, and can hopefully use it to your gain in the future.  Lots of shady things surrounding several people(s)/activities on this forum.... simply because 'money' is at stake; and [for the most part] people [in general] are inherently greedy.

How much is that signature campaign paying?
For me its .0003/post; max 20/day.

yup.  main page has been updated:

"Payouts are made automatically every 2 hours for all balances above 0.0075 and balances more than 0.0015 are paid on Sunday. DCR requires min of 0.025 before payout will occur."

Last few days I am having a ton of workers "hang" on stats on algos they aren't working on anymore. I am using NEMOS 2.2 for algo switching.

Everything still working okay but figured I would report.

it's not a pool issue...... fyi Wink

Just tried to setup XVG (Verge) coin as payout with lyra2v2 algorithm, what is available within this algorithm
Code:
ccminer -a lyra2v2 -o stratum+tcp://lyra2v2.mine.zpool.ca:4533 -u DN94wN2zXbj5z3B8ud25LbNuucVFv9SymD.evga -p lyra2v2,c=XVG,stats
After I connected, in my wallet is displayed Verge coin

but in last 50 earnings there are auxPoW coin displayed

What do I wrong?

I dont like to work for MobileCash, which is 60 times less profitable ATM

The pool's stratum picks what coins you mine... not you, not the pool runner.... only stratum.

you did nothing wrong.

Your shares that weren't valid blocks for other coins became MBL credits......  No "wasted hash"... just credit.   Just because the coin doesn't earn much, doesn't mean its doing what you think its doing when the pool earns them.

Look at difficulty on XVG, and look at network hashrate for XVG.... look at block generation time with given pool speed.....     These factors should do very well at explaining why you are feeling less profitable.
i thought that profitability has all hashrates\time of gen block\difficulty ect ?
am i wrong?

They profitability estimates you generally see are based on the last ~12-24 hours.   They are not "real-time".  Stratum picks the real time stuff internally.... and it's operation quite a mystery sometimes since I havent looked at the yiimp code..   real time estimates break down with the longer times it takes to generate a block.    Example being how decred usually shows "all balls" (all zeros) until a block is found.
