1261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would you measure your success in Crypto currency on: July 10, 2023, 05:06:58 PM
Success in cryptocurrency is adoption by institutions and by majority of people. But ofcourse we're still far from this possibility. So if we would base at the present, I think we are in good progress given that more people and countries are considering this technology's usage. With regards to my success in this industry, I'd say I'm still far from that feeling of satisfaction. For me, being successful to anything is the same as meeting a point wherein you will be satisfied but not contented ofcourse. And if it is individual's success in this industry, then it would also be tied with profit. And with regards to profit, many for sure have suffered from loss due to unpredictable price movements and wrong decisions but be sure to learn atleast and to look forward with what's next for cryptocurrencies.
1262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Education and money as the key to Bitcoin adoption. on: July 10, 2023, 04:35:54 PM
Adoption by People, yes, but with governments that would be regulation. Indeed knowledge is a must if we want to spread awareness in this technology but problem is not all people are just interested with this industry. Even aware individuals are not into cryptocurrency and that is by personal preference especially in an investment. Likewise with financial capacity to invest; money is indeed a necessity. But as I have mentioned these two are not enough for adoption to happen. It qill take another factor which is majority's initiative to accept and utilize usage of this blockchain with payments and by other means.
1263  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you prefer to own a luxury watch or invest in bitcoin or other assets? on: July 10, 2023, 04:15:38 PM
Jewelries are good investments as well so if you would be left to choose between this technology and a luxury watch then eitherway would be a good choice and will just depends on your preference. As we all know there's a huge difference with profit potential and risk from doing so. Differences also consists of utility wherein a watch could be worn at any time of convenience. On the other hand, Bitcoin will only be used if you're in a country wherein this technology is widely accepted. Being tangible, recognition from government, and volatility of their market prices are the bottomline in this argument.
1264  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is better to invest in copy trading or bot on: July 10, 2023, 03:34:53 PM
Best choice I guess is to study how trading really works. Well, copy trading and bot trading would be good options but would you be really happy winning in such way without knowing what is happening with your money? Not to mention losing in these ways. Atleast if you would lose with your decisions, atleast you'd learn something from it. Copy trading would give you profit especially if you picked the right trader but keep in mind that you have different margins which could make a change with the outcome as well. And as for bot, there's be times of some bugs and inconvenience. So better do it on the right way that trading should be done.
1265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think at some point government will change its stand and adopt Bitcoin? on: July 10, 2023, 03:13:17 PM
If it is general possibility then there is a chance, I think but I doubt that all governments would do so. There would always be doubts on their end simply because this technology is a new thing still. Also with regards to monitoring and transactions that governments are concerned of, this would not be easy to achieve for this industry. What's more likely to happen is gradual acceptance from sectors such as what happened recently wherein banking institutions are quite giving a short for cryptocurrency adoption. Well, regulation would more likely take place which is what making the process, complicated since it is in contrast with this technology's nature.

1267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why most premined coins (>90% of all altcoins) will eventually fail on: July 09, 2023, 11:55:53 PM
Unfortunately, this happens for a long time already that new projects being released are only profitable before its release to the market and eventually fallimg out of the project's support. One reason is utility of token and also futuristic roadmap of the project. But as I have mentioned, projects are failing to meet their long term plans  They indeed tend to move to another, leaving investors at tge middle of nowhere which created an impression to this industry. This could also be a reason why such thing continued for years. Investors are no longer hoping for a length with every project release. First ones are having the advantage 'coz they have already established their name to investors.
1268  Economy / Economics / Re: Agriculture can save your country from recession on: July 09, 2023, 11:37:42 PM
It should be saving a country's economy.A country's agriculture to most of the counrries especially third world ones, should be giving attention of their agriculture if they are planning to improve their economy. Problem to some countries, is that governmenta are more focused with importing from other countries than having ideas of exporting their own. Land properties are there but they are not making use of its potential. Creating your own agricultural trademark as a country won't be easy but atleast in a long run it would be a great tool not only for profit potential for country but also with utilizing it to local markets as a resource.
1269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My personal savings now I will invest in Bitcoin on: July 09, 2023, 11:19:42 PM
As we all know, this is a good thing to do if you can afford losing that amount if anything bad happens. Ofcourse investing would be profitable but risk will as well be present due to market price vplatility and also with issues concerning adoption and usage of this blockchain.
I think Op should be focused on the recent economic crisis happening in his country and hold his money for tougher days. Bitcoin price may not be favourable to him at a time like this. Which could cause him more harm if he losses his savings. Patience is the key, when he is sure of his moves not becoming a hindrance to his financial economy in future, he can invest in bitcoin, with lesser fear or doubts in him.

You are right my friend, investing in bitcoin in times of crisis is not the best solution. Because we won't be able to tell if bitcoin will go up or down more in the near future, and if the crisis in his country gets worse. He needs money to live, then selling the low price of bitcoin only exacerbates his crisis. Bitcoin is a highly volatile and high-risk investment, it cannot be a safe haven to store value in times of crisis. If OP bought bitcoin for $50k, what if he needs money for life now when bitcoin price is only trading at $30k?
If this technologt is not restricted in their country, then this would be a valid option. It also depends on what crisis is present; if it is regarding currency pullback then converting his money would be a good idea. But if it is difficulty surviving daily, then it is not 'coz in times of necessity and urgency, there might be troubles pulling your investments out especially if the price is still down at that moment.
1270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympic Games, but doping is allowed?! on: July 09, 2023, 05:15:21 PM
All I know is that skill enhancement consumables mostly have negative effects to the body of the player who would take on it. Ofcourse they would have a better performance and strength than their usual but if it would be bad in the future, then we are just destroying the futuristic vision towards players. I think it would be still better for players tonjist be themselves. Enhancements indeed improves the body of players but for sure not all players would be able to take such or grab into this opportunity sinply because of what we called "tradition" and sportsmanship. Sports are temporary so putting your life into sich tricks, would really matter.
1271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are successful gamblers seen as addicts? on: July 09, 2023, 04:47:17 PM
Depends if they are having no control of their actions such as stopping to play the moment they want to. But if they don't have such control then they might be in such condition already. They might be winning at this point but if it is gambling addiction then things would fall eventually. All of your winnings would be turned into loss if you'd be playing continuously simply because winning will never be certain as we all know. The longer you play, the bigger the tendency to lose in the long run.
Addiction makes reference to a disfunctional behavior. Since successful gamblers are having triumph on this activity, we can say it's being functional for them, therefore it's something healthy, positive, rewarding and profitable, without any financial damage, although there is an aspect gamblers must be attentive to, even if they are successful: to not live for gambling exclusively. It's important to keep in mind there are another activities they have to practice and that it's not healthy to spend all day long in front of a device screen placing bets, making analysis and following the news.

In this case, despite they being successful on the financial sense, the behavior is still disfunctional thinking on social and physical aspects, therefore an addiction can be spotted there and must be treated accordingly with a professional attendance.
I agree with the effects to function on a daily basis. The question is, how would a gambler define success? is it on the amount won? For sure it won't be limited on such aspect alone. There's more to determine if you are already successful or not.
1272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How real? That football players required to bribe before they are allowed to play on: July 09, 2023, 04:12:55 PM
Quite of an old thing especially with sports industry in general and not only with football alone. Whether it is jist a scam being pulled by a nobody or an organization, this should be alarming for serious franchise of any sports indistry 'coz a bright future of their players are being played on simply because money has the power to do so. pArt of this, I guess, is scouting. Many talents are being wasted because of such scheme instead of them to be on a better team that would hone their full potential and to be a bigger 'someone' in the future. Not only with governments but the league should also put attention on such cases.
1273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game Winner Result Changed After 24 hours (Defaulted) on: July 09, 2023, 03:40:00 PM
Would depend on the terms of the gambling site I guess. But technically, match winner should still be the bottomline so if there are changes with it, then same thing should go with the winning bet. However this would be hard to execute such that winners before the changes could have pulled out their funds already and a platform cannot do something about it such as pushing them do return the money 'coz in the first place this should be a matter between the league and the gambling site regarding their partnership. If fault would be more of the provider then ofcourse burden should be into it.
1274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin experience a more price increase during the halving? on: July 08, 2023, 08:42:14 PM
Individuals familiar with Bitcoin widely believe that its price will increase significantly during halving events. This collective assumption drives the upward momentum of Bitcoin. People fear missing out on the potential uptrend and therefore contribute to the price increase by continuously buying Bitcoin. Consequently, the positive sentiment surrounding Bitcoin halving plays a crucial role in fueling its upward movement. Moreover, if positive news coincides with the halving period, it can further intensify the price surge, resulting in a substantial increase in Bitcoin's value.
Belief originated simply because of what happened before but in fact, there's no assurance of things. We cannot be certain that the price would increase once halving occurs. One instance is with ETH Fork. Well, two are different things but these two are comparable for having large network. But thing here is that, things may still go the other way around, as expected. This is simply because of nature of market price volatility. But since there is a dominant belief that its price would increase, then the tendency for such thing to happen would be higher. But for sure it won't be a date near halving; either late or early.
1275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Healthy mindset to save earnings from gambling on: July 08, 2023, 07:26:40 PM

Only a mentally strong person who has control over emotions and have money management skills would be the real winner here and will become rich eventually.

This basically isn't just in the gambling industry  alone, because it takes a mentally stable individual with a good money management skills to be able to succeed in life generally.
I will always say that people should rather work on their greed and contentment level and it is also true that money, wealth and power is never satisfactory but we should always get to know when to stop and when to play and we should.also learn to appreciate every win as a win rather than wanting to make millions from  bets made in hundreds.
Greed and contentment  are two great factors that shoukd be considered when we want to make positive growth while gambling.
Ofcourse we all know what to do but not all people has the capacity to do so. No matter how we wish to continue what we are doing. If you have huge winnings in gambling, for sure it would be hard to wait 'coz there will always be that drive to earn more. Once you have that experience to win, greed is more likely to take place the next time you play. A Mindset that you have a huge bankroll would push you to play more. Ofcourse what is ideal is to save some of the amount for security purposes, of your winnings. What's best is to know how to set limits with the amount you can afford to gamble and lose. Money is just a powerful concept which pushes people to go against what's planned.
1276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What attracted you to gambling?Share your experience whether good/bad. on: July 08, 2023, 04:06:56 PM
Aside from money, I cannot think of anything that would attract a gambler into this technology or industry. On my end, profit came first before enjoyment and gladly, I was able to go out from that mindset and is now enjoying things with proper management regarding risk. But as we all know, profit tendency is what dragging people into gambling. There is an impression wherein gambling is believed to be a gateway or an easiest way to be rich in an instant. Despite of knowing that things won't go as planned, people are still hooked up with this idea. Quite of a nature of human to focus on things which would come in an instant.
1277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Durning bull market we will received many good bounty? on: July 06, 2023, 11:07:09 PM
I think bullrun has no relationship with release of bounty campaigns, it just so happened that signatures are more convenient to manage at this point, maybe as with the forum adjustments regarding merits. Well' I remember those days wherein rewards from bounties were really huge espeically if you happened to participate in a project that has huge potential. Quite missing that era but we, users, have no other choice but to adjust as well. Most of the projects right now are running for years and new ones are a bit rare nowadays unlike before wherein almost in every week, there's a new project being released.
1278  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do when you have Financial Freedom? on: July 06, 2023, 10:28:20 PM
Well, ofcourse most of us would choose to invest since we are in this industry but for sure people with financial freedom would most likely spend and buy things that they want, and neither is wrong. It just depends on your gision as an individual. Financial freedom is not the same as being rich, you just have enough financial margin to have options in life such as engaging to your dream school, investing in your interests and more. But your vision into such privilege is what would matter the most. If you have futuristic plans such as for your kids in the future with it, then you're on the right track for sure. If you choose to be more free with it such as making a bigger margin from your financial freedom, then that would be best.
1279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accepting Bitcoin on: July 06, 2023, 09:42:01 PM
Since I joined this forum I have always wanted to invest in Bitcoin however Bitcoin investments in my country is not easy because of our currency value and the government is not in much support am currently working on convincing my mom to accepting Bitcoin in her tailoring shop i Also intend on hodling those Bitcoins

I would appreciate any advice on this my move

To be clear, is it restricted to use in your country or is it jist that governments are not supporting its isage by means of advertisement and such? 'coz if it is just neutral then you're good to buy and hold it. And also, it would be better for you to make your own way to saave money than to push your mother to invest. First of all, it depends whether your parents are even aware of whaat Bitcoin is; not only awareness but also be knowledgeable of it in order for them to understand the advantage of doing so. Next is with business, ofcourse we would like this currency to be used as a mode of payment but if it would not be causing profit (volatile market price) from doing so, then you should understand it as well if your mother would refuse. A shop needs money for it to revolve in the business and it won't be easy if its funds will just be put in another investment.
1280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you not hodling on: July 05, 2023, 11:55:59 PM
They cannot simply tolerate partial loss in holding and they are more into assured profit such as with signature and bounty campaigns. Well, it is not a requirement in the first place to have crypto holding but if you have the capacity to do so, then ofcourse it would be an advantage. The only disadvantage is that, it will require you to wait for a period of time or until the market price increases, in order to generate profit from investing into this technology  Also, no one is certain when would be or how long sjould we hold into our assets in order for it to be profitable. But as you learn from this industry, you'd understand it more.
