Everyone is actually pretty busy building NEM. I'm sorry resuming stake issuance hasn't been a priority. The developers are actually writing code and the marketing team is brainstorming ways to make NEM a success.
Having said that, in order to get this thread back to normal, we're going to resume issuing stakes. Every request will be checked by both patmastr and xtester. Stakes will be issued once a week on Sunday (since there doesn't appear to be a lot of demand). Please let us know if there are any concerns with this plan.

You have no idea what I am doing with my stake, I'm not going to get into the details, but you can be rest assured that I will have at least 5 to 10 stakes before V1 hits!! I trade and mine for a living. That's all I do. I live on a lake. Do the math. Don't sell your stake if you want to make money. The great thing about NEM, is it's one of those coins that are more than a coin. It's more than money at stake here possibly. It has a very lofty goal. Change the world, yes. If it's going to do this, many things have to get ironed out, yes. That's why I'm saying some things now. We are in pre-launch. Trust me the NEM team will reach a point were they are operating like a well oiled machine. I plan to help with that myself. Yes, things are a little chaotic right now, but many things are going on, and they are still a relatively new team. We are still PRE-LAUNCH. I am critical of the NEM team because it is in my best interest, and the best interest of NEM, for things to be fixed if there is a problem. Those people that just come here and say "NEM to MOON" and can't say a bad word about anything aren't helping the situation. People like you are. Listen, I have been highly critical of the way things have been handled too, but I think you have too look at the point that they are at with the coin right now. We are still pre-launch. They are fixing the log in issues at the NemForum, if they are not fixed already, try again. Don't give up on this coin. These guys are doing a great job overall, and I would be the first to say something. I will say negative things, as I have if need be. I just think you are mistaken. If I were you I would keep at the very least half of your stake. this is the exact reason i am selling my stake. this and the logo voting partial vote.
this has been argued about for over a week. this iis a very very simple thing as check a name.
you can do this (check a name on a list). its the point that there is no organisation. look how hard of a time you are having accomplising simple task. check a name. you can check a name. you are in confusion about who will, how will it be done. when will it be done. this is so silly it makes me laugh. utopianfuture leaving was a ruse. he jumped ship. for good reason.
this example of a team that has a very hard time work with each other
then there is the logo. you have a vote on logo and i and many other cant get in to make a vote. all confusion. simple answer was have vote here for x logos. then have runoff electon to make it fair if need be. a little more complicated buut holy christ, not that bad of a task. cant do it right.

In the crypto world things are measured in hundreds of percent gains and losses most of the time. Especially in a year, a 100% profit is very realistic. I started off poor, now I am not. I trade for a living. Although I am not rich yet, if my gains stay the same, I will be. It's like the story of if you started with a penny and could keep doubling it. That was me.
