The average Joe doesn't know what the Internet of Things or future disrupting techs are. He's going to know what they are AFTER it has reached massive adoption; he will just know how to use them.
For any crypto-currency to reach mass adoption, it needs to be combined with emerging technologies such as the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles, among others. Lisk is a platform that runs decentralized applications, so combining the Lisk platform to the IoT is very possible. Blockchain technology has evolved past its terminology of "digital money", it's much more than that; it is capable of connecting billions of devices with higher efficiency and lower fees.
Ok, I (and average Joe with me) can follow you there. But Why do we need 'coins' for that? Two years ago, bitcoin hit the news with pumps and dumps. Not a word about blockchain. Now blockchain hits the news as a technology but not a word about bitcoin (local media in my small European country). People can imagine the technology could be useful when everything is connected to the internet. But why the use of coins that are very unstable in price?? I see, among the numerous dapps proposed, an emailsystem. People don't want to pay for that! And IF you need a certain amount of Lisk/btc/whatever-coin (now there's your Doge2  ) an the coin is worth 1$ day one and 25$ day 30 then back to 3$ day 31, they don't buy it (in both ways)... So: Tech: great great! blockchain, IoT: super but coins? Nah.... Just look at this or any thread of altcoins in the last years: 10% tech, 70% Moon, rockets get your engines started and 20% memes. Looks childish, shady, Ponzi and VERY VERY unstable. I posted this remark in the NXT-thread when they started their trip to the moon(yey, I was there), in the NEM-thread (same thing) at the beginning: Let's say the tech is superb AND the price is fixed at 0.10$ and it will NEVER change but the tech is AWESOME. Hello, i have on question, i mining eth with 2 PC on suprnova one r9 270x and one r9 290x ..and i have near 45 mhs ... 15 + 30 mhs ...
now on eth mining profit calculator i have this results:
X Hours: 0,029
X Day: 0,69
X week: 4,89
But my real production on suprnova.cc is:
X Hours: 0,020
X Day: 0,397
X week: 2,19
Why? My near 45 mhs are unstable? Where i have the problem?

hehe you guys are so funny. what was ico ended 1 month ago or barely any longer. price was 20k sats or less... at a dollar a lisk it would be what 230k satoshi?
11x in one month yeah good luck holding that price... the yobit and bloombit markets are so illiquid that refreshing the page could blow them over. they are not grounded in any reality in any dimension in any universe. I understand this is crypto and you all have the expectation to lock up a few satoshi for a month and get back a few thousand dollars heck i have the same unrealistic expectations from time to time especially when i was newer to crypto. but it doesnt happen to frequently. and if it is happening very few will hold from the bottom to the top. lisk raised 7 million bucks. you dont think half the people would love to get out at launch for even 2x? that could be 7 million (16,000+BTC) in sell pressure just to hit 40k satoshi. meanwhile lisk is 80x of at yobit currently.
please feel free to continue yacking about moons and such i wont be able to stop you.. heck if lisk stays 80 ill be happy. heck ill be happy is it does 1.5x at launch.
for any noobs, if youve made money on lisk iou on yobit you might want to sell. even if your upside down on your investment you might want to sell before launch. the pressure of 100million coins being distributed to the people who paid 20,000 satoshi or less is going to destroy the IOU market. if you think differently your in for a big surprise.

hola, I went out at approx. 0.08 with profits of > 2000% converted back to BTC. Now my question is what will the actual LISKs be worth after the release has settled in? The funkiest part about this undoubtedly is that its all an entirely Yobit-fabricated scheme # lisk unreleased # 2000% price increase on imaginary tokens.
