1301  Economy / Speculation / Re: Welcome back $700 BTC ... on: March 03, 2014, 07:06:57 PM
... good to see you again,
since there's no logic behind it...
War always brings flight to safe currencies.  If Russia blows the shit out of Ukraine, price will be at $2000 before end of March.  Mark my words.
1302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Insane! bitcoin rules eBay on: February 27, 2014, 08:22:56 PM
Lolz take that Ebay.
No kidding.  Sold right under their watch.  Suckers.
1303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Insane! bitcoin rules eBay on: February 27, 2014, 08:13:38 PM
You won't believe this.  That damn thing is sold!!!! I am not kidding.  The guy took 130BTC for it.  You are too late.
1304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Insane! bitcoin rules eBay on: February 27, 2014, 07:01:54 PM
Check out this guy selling a sweet Mercedes on eBay for bitcoin!  I think bitcoin is starting to hit the mainstream.  Have you guys seen other stuff on eBay?  I thought they were trying to ban sales in bitcoin.

I can make a transaction with Visa in an instant with next to no fee.

PS. bring it on mother fuckers. If you can not see the limitations with Bitcoin you are a dumb ass bitch.

Fucking idiots will never get it no matter how you explain it to them.  Don't bother trying.
1306  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: any advice -- I have 50% coins and 50% USD in MTGOX now ???? on: February 16, 2014, 06:41:39 PM
The biggest risk is taking no risk dude!
Gox is toast.  I hear people are now pronouncing it: "Empty Gox" (i.e. 'M', 't' 'Gox')  Toasted toast.  Kiss those coins goodbye - they are never coming back.  Start over with some of the new bitcoin 2.0 projects like ethereum, NXT, counterparty.
1307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which Bitcoin Client do you use and why ? on: February 16, 2014, 05:40:56 PM
Bitcoin-Qt and Armory. Also, Mycelium.

Mycelium is dangerous.  Very dangerous.  It is Russian and bitcoin is illegal in Russia.  Want to get screwed?  Use Mycelium from Russia and you're gonna have KGB knocking on your door with a polonium sandwich any minute now.

English only.

Yeah, because cryptocurrencies are not meant for people who can't speak our language.  'God-damned stupid Chinese!'

Oh wait, you mean Chinese is spoken by more people than English and more cryptocurrency is bought by Chinese than English speaking people?  Maybe we should make these forums Chinese only!

jeroenn - why do you oppose people using Chinese?

JR人呢?
这里的人呢?
这里原来很热闹啊
被JR的老婆都整蔫了?
Mastercoiners = JR people.

The rest I am having trouble with.
1311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MasterCoin: New Protocol Layer Starting From “The Exodus Address” on: January 12, 2014, 07:51:50 AM
We paid $18K for a fancy PR firm to promote a little publicity. They produced almost nothing as far as I can tell.  Can someone tell me how Terpin earned his money?

Mastercoin is now faced with the indignity that is being deleted from Wikipedia.  This is a direct result of non-existent publicity that Terpin was to provide.  Here is what they have to say about the project publicity: "The Forbes.com article is an opinion piece, the USA Today thing a passing mention in some kind of tech/gossip article, the rest aren't proper WP:GNG sources at all."

Can't we do a proper Newswire press release campaign.  Mastercoin is a spectacularly cool concept which is of great interest to those who are learning about bitcoin and the future.  Don't we have any clever writers in house?  WTF?  Is this ready for a bounty Ron?

Stop being an asshole.  The only people who care about good PR are the pump and dump crowd.  When there is something newsworthy, the writers will find Mastercoin.  However, it doesn't make sense to me that Wiki should delete Mastercoin.  A casual look at the white paper suggests a very important (notable) concept related to bitcoin.  It definitely belongs in Wikipedia.
1312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / German Bundesbank thinks bitcoin is 'highly speculative' - lololol! on: January 07, 2014, 06:39:52 PM
"The Bundesbank has become the latest big central bank to warn about the risks of Bitcoin, amid rising concerns from regulatory authorities around the world as the virtual currency grows in popularity.

Carl-Ludwig Thiele, a board member of Germany’s central bank, told the newspaper Handelsblatt that Bitcoins were “highly speculative” due to their high volatility and the way they were constructed."    http://www.ft.com/intl/cms/s/0/3b67e982-7799-11e3-807e-00144feabdc0.html#axzz2pjqwbs8X

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Grin

Oh no!  Banks don't like bitcoin.  'It is too speculative!'  Warning!!!   (P.S. - do you really think he has any idea whatsoever as to 'how they were constructed'?  Sure.......)

This coming from the guys who charge 70 Euros for simple international cross currency transactions.  They don't want people to use bitcoin - 'too risky'.

Dealing with old fashion banks is too risky.  Paying 70 euro for international transaction fees is too risky.  Suffering endless dilution of my wealth via inflation is too risky.

Yeah, right.  Bitcoin is 'highly speculative'.  Here let me speculate something for you Mr. Central Banker Carl-Ludwig Thiele.  I speculate that you will soon be out of a job.  I speculate that bitcoin will severely cripple the banking industry in less than 3 years.  Get your resume out Mr. Central Banker.  You are going to be looking for a new job soon.

How do you like that speculation? - asshole.
1313  Other / Archival / Re: [VSC]Visacoin:Born for circulation--based on BTC-Gold--Project start!!! on: January 05, 2014, 04:40:04 PM
Warning
Greed, Delusion, Insanity.
Sorry for everybody who fell for this joke. Seriously though, how could you?
A fool and his money will soon be parting.  What an idiot.  Did you see the white paper?  It should be called "white wash".  There is nothing technical in there.  Junk.

People who buy this are insane.  They see the awesome project at Mastercoin and they want in on the ground floor.  So they quickly jump into this garbage which is made to look like Mastercoin from its name down.  But the OP doesn't even bother with any technical details.  So, get rich quick people throw money at it.

Visacoin is a Raging Scam which will produce nothing but tears.  Already has!

If you want to invest in a real project and make real money just go to: mcoin.io and buy some Mastercoin while it is still cheap and available.  It will be worth 3X by the end of the year.  That is a real project with a real plan and real developers building a great system.

What is this clown saying? I may unignore him so I have a good laugh  Cheesy
Who are you kidding dumbass?  You read every word I write.  Twice.  At least.  Dumbass.  You fucking love my shit and you can't miss a single thing.  You have never been able to ignore me.

Do you know that many intelligent people actually do ignore me.  They just don't care for the extreme position.  They use their minds to ignore me.  They don't need some mechanical blocking means.  They just don't pay attention.

Then we have you.  You read every word I write.  You put me on 'ignore' with the mechanical system, but you just cant resist clicking unignore just to read my every post.  You love me.  I do too.  Smiley  I love you klee.
1315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: MasterCoin Buyer/Seller Thread on: January 03, 2014, 01:37:03 AM
2. That person was "punished" by having his MSC banned? the same way a government, bank, or other centralized entity would block money used for criminal activities?
yep, crime and anarchy rules in bitcoin and mastercoin.  fuck the world!  steal all you can.  No order, no regulation, just fuck everyone.
1316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: MasterCoin Buyer/Seller Thread on: January 03, 2014, 01:11:58 AM
while your criminal law analysis is worth considering, there is more.  If he were successful and managed to exploit a Mastercoin weakness at this early stage - he could have easily cause the value of Msc to plummet thus causing everyone serious loss of value.  far more than the $40K he is being penalized today.

Or, depending on how you look at it, he is a hero who warns people of the Mastercoin's weakness and prevents much bigger losses.

Killerstorm, I always appreciate your views on Mastercoin ...
Zathras,
I am begging you please: don't engage this guy.  Go back to work.  You are awesome and we need you 100% working on code.  I'll handle the assholes.  You need to ignore guys like KillerShitStorm and others naysayers and just keep building good stuff.  Thanks for the comment, but we really need you to go back to work and stop looking at the disinformation.
1317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: MasterCoin Buyer/Seller Thread on: January 02, 2014, 03:52:43 AM
I try to register Admin accounts on many services as a novelty thing.

Pure absolute bullshit.  Don't ever do that again.  'novelty thing' - right.  Clearly this is activity of a thief.
1318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: MasterCoin Buyer/Seller Thread on: January 02, 2014, 03:37:22 AM
the fact that you created an "admin" account and searched for a hypothetical admin page.
Bad intent.  pure and simple.  Inbox was fucking around and got caught.  Keep his coins and pay them to the first dev who make something nice related to improving this situation.

Inbox should not have engaged in all that activity which clearly shows his intent was corrupt.  Simple.

Fucking scammers win everytime.  Finally, the good guys caught one of the bad guys.  Now Inbox claims he wasn't trying to cheat?  lolololol.  Only when DarkEmi decides Inbox is a good guy would I withdraw my vote against the scammer.

Now he doesn't want to give up his ID?  For sure this guy deserves to lose his coins.  Dark said he'd hold it private.  Dark is honorable - something Inbox knows nothing of.  I'd never let this guy back up.
1319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: MasterCoin Buyer/Seller Thread on: December 26, 2013, 05:18:40 AM
wow the demand shot up after being listed on coinmarketcap. I feel silly having sold majority of my stake few days before.

I sold 49% so I could say I kept the majority, but I gotta tell you I'm guessing I feel just like you.
Guys who are trying to make a quick profit are going to get killed here.  Go play with Dogecoin.  That kind of nonsense is perfect for scamming newcomers out of their money.  Mastercoin is a different situation entirely.  Mastercoin is not suitable for a quick flip to easy profits.
1320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: MasterCoin Buyer/Seller Thread on: December 25, 2013, 11:33:26 PM
I repeat I would like to do this for Mastercoin too.
Just do it.  You don't need our permissions.  You don't need 'donations'.  Charge a fair fee and quit begging.
