I am not able to log into my account since the update of your auth system. https://poloniex.com/login gives me a white screen of death on both with firefox and chrome. I have the same problem with IE and Chrome too. Given what happen to Mintpal, it doesn't take much to get me packing up my coins. Guys, I'll pass on your message to them via chat. EDIT: I informed via chat they are aware of the problem and are working on it.

Wow, there's a GH on the network right now!! I haven't see it that high in a very long time! Keep up the good work Armis and team! That power is because a big EMC2 investor has decided to help us take EMC2 to the next level. Please let me be clear as to what the next level is, The first level was the fundamentals of coin creation (coding and mining) and community development (marketing and investment). The second level was coin refinement (wallet design, node support, etc) and wider community adoption (exchange placement) The third level is where we need to go, graduating the coin from a commodity (mainly traded on exchanges) to a currency (used as a means of exchange). Utility is the key to stable and reliable growth for any currency. This board has designed a way to get EMC2 more exposures, more investment, and more utility all while providing a source of income for EMC2 to provide for some of its long term care and maintenance needs. Thanks for your ongoing support and encouragement, this board is committed to EMC2 success, with a supportive community that goal will be realized.

Stop the bullying of the poor. It ain't cheap enough yet.
Wow, Kleineaap long time no see, it's been about 5 months since I've seen that name. Hope all is fine. As for "it aint cheap enough yet," usually fridays and saturdays are the times when rates are at their lowest, however on friday rates climbed to over 100 multiple times. What I'm saying is, at under 75 sat these are still good prices. In the coming days, we will have the soft launch of The Einsteinium News, as the publication takes hold the value of EMC2 will rise substantially. As it stands right now EMC2 is top heavy. The top 5 addresses own 30% of the coins. http://emc2.explorer.ssdpool.com:9105/richlistFor the past few days I've asked the community to not sell unless they are HAPPY with their profit level because I see a much brighter future dawning only a few days away. But I still see sales take place. In fact I saw one transaction where someone purchase about 180+K @ 61 at Cryptsy, then sold them at poloniex for 71 sat, at first glance that might be a good move, instant 10 points, but no, given the amount of time it takes to normally a mass that volume of coin, and the low price of the transfer, he should have held them for a higher 3-digit sale in just a few days. Nothing's guaranteed, but all indications are pointing at a sign saying 'not many 2 digit rates left'. Good to see you again. That was not serious, but thanks for noticing my reply. I do not know who you are though. that's ok, we can start with a new beginning

In an effort to increase brand awareness, when you go to other non-cause coins please post the following message:
"Please select Einsteinium as your coin's favorite charity."
It would be great if a few other coins adopt EMC2 as their favorite charity.

RD965 As I indicated earlier your coin needs many thing, most of which is organizaton.
Let me know when the EBT community is ready to organize.
I can't code for anything, but I can donate coin, if the blockchain was moving. Any idea how much is needed? After you have 5 committed community members who are willing to lead the community in redeveloping the coin, that team will analyze the community's resources and determine the coin's needs and how best to achieve those goals. If you are willing to step up and lead, simply state your intention and find others to join you on your journey. EMC2 is willing to be a strategic partner to help you redevelop your coin.

Critical Thinking With Armis Strategy games rely on a player’s mental capacity to outwit his opponent, this differs from most other games that primarily rely on luck (roll of the dice, and/or pick of a card) to win. Brain games are often distinguished from strategy games in that they focus on static information you may know, and how fast you process it. Strategy board games are affectionately called brain games because they are often accompanied by lots and lots of meaningful thinking. Checkers, and warri (also called mancala) are perhaps the most basic of strategy board games, these games are played more for fun than competition so they don’t often get to enjoy the ‘strategy game’ cache. In both games all of the individual player pieces essentially have the same power, duty, and movement ability. The board game called “Go” is very similar to checkers and warri in the power, duty, and movement ability categories, however it is often played competitively as such it is often called a strategy board game. Chess is the most well known of all strategy board games. In our opinion it rises above the previously mentioned games in that various player pieces have different powers, duties, and movement abilities, these differences add a layer of complexity to the game. Armis is the newest member of the strategy board game family, it is distinguished from the others in many ways, so much so that we believe Armis is the first HIGH strategy board game. Here are some major distinguishing characteristics: 1) an asymmetric game board, 2) 5 different environments (land, air, coastal waters, deep surface waters, and deep submerged waters) 3) some pieces have conditional powers, 4) identical not mirrored (your right hand in the mirror is your reflection’s left hand) setup and 5) there are over a million ways to properly setup Armis was created in the USA for brain game enthusiasts worldwide, it is currently played online in over 140 countries. Some say playing Armis is like playing Chess, Checkers, Risk, and Stratego all at the same time. Critical Thinking For Children Armis is enjoyed by thinkers of all ages; the Armis for Schools Worldwide program uses Armis to help students to develop critical thinking skills at many schools around the world. BTC has vastly outperformed any alt-coin by miles.
That's more believer bull, this thread is about getting paid for work, there's no way I'd ask to get paid in a currency that has every reasonable expectation to go down the same day I get it. In August EMC2 was 15 sat now it's 50 sat If I was looking to get paid in any cryptocurrency that would have been the target crypto at that time. hahahahaaa, yesterday EMC2 was 50 sat today it went as high as 80 sat on Cryptsy and 138 on poloniex When is the last time BTC had a 100% rise in a day? The OP didn't ask if he should invest into BTC so this discussion is at the wrong place @rigdeer Maybe you will find something here: http://www.reddit.com/r/Jobs4bitcoinsThe OP specifically requested to be paid with BTC

Is Armis actually fun to play?
Armis has a steep learning curve, I've found that it appeals more to chess players seeking more 'fun' in strategic game play. Armis is fun if you like thinking fast, making wow-factor moves, and finding ways to execute strategies and tactics. Although it could be played at any speed, by design it moves fast. Armis doesn't simply allow pieces to move backward or fly, you can tell a lot of thought went into it. For example, the Marines are amphibious they are the only pieces that can operate fully on land and sea (coastal waters only). All of the sea vessels can be boarded by specific pieces, but only the Aircraft Carrier can receive the Jet or Helicopter. The Nuke could only be used after significant lost of own military. The game provides for tactical friendly fire. If you take your opponent's Child (or your own Child) you automatically lose your Diplomat and Religion. Since the Media must be providing or gathering news at all times it must be next to another player (either side) can be forfeited ... each of the pieces have some sort of condition that adds a unique layer of complexity to that specific piece. When you take these conditions into consideration, in addition to how pieces can move, or which pieces are offensive or non-offensive, the fun is in figuring out how to use your resources to outplay your opponent.

What kind of game is this? what is the benefit to the person playing it?
Thanks for your question. Armis is a high strategy board game, I like to say: 'it's like playing Chess, Checkers, Risk, and Stratego all at the same time' Chess was designed to be played with deep reflective thought, however Armis was designed to train the subconscious mind for faster thinking. Bullet or speed chess also taps into the same region of the brain Armis focuses on. If you notice there are many things that we do with our subconscious mind, usually they are things that are slow changing and repetitive, like dribbling a basketball for a basketball player, manually shifting gears for a drive good driver in a manual shift car, or just walking for most of us. As you add complexity to a common chore the thinking move from the subconscious mind to the conscious mind because it requires 'more thought'. When you dream your subconscious mind is fully engages and also in full control of your body, it is able to speed up your heart rate in order to digest large amounts of food in your stomach just by creating dreams that require you to "do physical activities" with your mind. That is why you are likely to have a nightmares if you go to bed with lots of food in your stomach, your subconscious has to figure out how to digest that food efficiently while you are not actually physically moving. It is your subconscious that moves your body back and forth in order to keep from forming blood clots. Playing strategy board games enable players to widen the pathways between the conscious and subconscious minds, playing brain games of any kind increases that pathway, playing Armis does it faster and more efficiently. As that pathway widens you are able to analyse more info faster with higher degrees of accuracy, you become what some people refer to as "smarter". Armis can be used to increase academic performance. Armis shows player how to 'know how to know' -- how to intellectually figure things out. Once the concept of knowing how to acquire knowledge is secure it becomes very easy to apply it in academic environments. We believe: 'A' students are those who know how to know and consistently apply it, 'B' students are those who know how to know but don't regularly advance it, 'C' students often don't know how to know but benefit greatly by their genuine interest in various academic subjects, 'D' students often don't know how to know and have low interest in academic subjects, and 'F' students often don't care to know how to know, The Armis for Schools Worldwide program enables ‘C’ and ‘D’ average student to know how to know by way of our 5 step critical thinking process. The process readies them to be ‘A’ and ‘B’ average students in a relatively short period of time. To us it really doesn't matter if the education is institutional or home grown, the importance is acquiring the skills. Here are our 5 steps to critical thinking during Armis game play juxtaposed with the same steps in relation to academic success: 1) Analysis and Assessment 2) Planning 3) Risk Assessment 4) Action and 5) Reaction, Effect, and Experience 1) Analysis and Assessment - before you start any endeavor is important to know the rules that govern it. For Armis you should read the rules; the equivalent for any level of school is reading the syllabus. Then familiarize yourself with the environment, for Armis that means knowing the game board and player pieces; for school that mean knowing your teacher/professor, classmates, school building/campus, and key faculty (Principal, Dean, Advisers). Now that you know what you are expected to do and where you are expected to perform the next step is to assess values so that you properly budget your efforts and resources. 2) Planning - In Armis there are over a million ways to properly setup , so after a setup is formed you should map and manage offensive and defensive strategies; for school you do the same with respect to an offensive strategy, the defensive strategy is less academic and more social. However, if it can impact your academic performance in a meaningful way it must be factored into your planning. 3) Risk Assessment - this is where you say "What if?", not just "What if he does?", but also "What if she doesn't?" for the game it is weighing probabilities that a player will do, or not do, certain actions; for school it has more to do with what can happen if you don't do as expected or planned. Not only on the macro level: 'what if I don't graduate', but also on the micro level: 'what if I oversleep, barely eat, or fail to exercise', 'what if I skip a class, or a homework assignment?'. 4) Action - for Armis this is where you make your move; for school this is where you: participate in class, hand in homework, take a test, and/or submit a paper. and 5) Reaction, Effect, and Experience - for Armis it is as much how your opponent’s reacts (or lack of reaction) as much as what effect that specific move has on the rest of the game. For school it is about how the instructor and class respond to your class participation, the teacher's feedback on a homework assignment or term paper, your professor’s feedback on a paper, as well as your academic ranking. Everything counts, as such the information that make up 1 - 5 including your opponent’s move, we consider to be a single whole experience. Each move you make should be made with the intelligence of your experience. Likewise, everything you do, or don’t do, during your time in school impacts your academic success.

I like how the cryptex site looks but given how Mintpal went down I want some hard facts about any new exchange to the marketplace, who are you and what are all of your names, photos, and references. I agree! but still I have learned my lesson! I have almost all my coins in my wallet on my computer... that is the safest way! when I fill selling bigger amounts I just send coins on the exchange. same with buying. but for now I trust Cryptex more than 100% (more that I have ever trusted Mintpal) admins there are awsome! my friend your coins are not safe on a computer, put them on a multi-sig paper wallet and place the wallet in various places then your coins are safe. I have few coins on exchange, I don't want any of them lost, but that's not the main issue, the CC industry has tremendous potential it is going down the tubes specifically because of the massive number of scams. The last Gox matter was actually his third strike, he managed to strike out and hit a grand slam at the same time. 1/4 billion dollar scam. The CC industry can't support all of the fraud, it needs safety, security, trust, fidelity, and integrity. References from individuals are no longer enough. Thank you for that information, but computer where I have my coins is offline. It is my "secondary" computer (old one) so I use it only to storage coins and other data. Or is that not safe also? 1) it's your coin so you decide what is "safe" for you, 2) you didn't give any contextual clue of a "secondary computer". 3) nevertheless, the answer to your question, as far as I'm concerned is, NO. Having your coin on a computer not connected to the internet is NOT enough, I have a pile of old computers that were all destroyed one way or another. You never know when a computer will get destroyed, or stolen. The paperwallet (physical and cryptically identified electronic backup) give you the same ability as your offline computer but faster access, the fact of having multiple signatures to access the funds enable 2 of 3 people you trust to get the funds, if for example you DIE and no one knows how to access your old computer (that ends up sold for $5 at a yard sale). Having the paper wallet placed in multiple places allows for the destruction of one or even two of them. If your paperwallet is found by a bad guy they still need to find a second signer to get the funds. Multi-sig wallet addresses are easily identified just by looking at the address. When a bad guy sees that they just move on to an easier target.

Is there a rich list available?
Thanks for your question, yes we do have a Rich List it was included when we recently purchased our block explorer package [100% funded by Titanbit.net]. the package included: block explorer, rich list, and API. Here is the Rich List: http://emc2.explorer.ssdpool.com:9105/richlist, tabs will bring you to other info. Well done Armis,
This is an excellent idea. Have you been keeping an eye on the Lets Talk Bitcoin progress? They have created a token on the counterparty platform and give this out to people who provide content on the site. The token is also given to people who read articles and listen to the podcasts. The value of the token comes from it being the only thing that can be used to buy advertising on the site. Potentially could be an idea for your new site. Or advertising can only be bought using EMC2.
Keep up the good work.
Thanks for your support. The rewards (tokens) for engagement is an excellent idea, use of the counterparty platform is a bonus. Presently, our system shows the advertising rates in EMC2, but allows any currency to be used, we also accept in kind trade (banner space for banner space), or their work for our ad barter. As long we can immediately liquidate the item we will accept it even counterparty tokens. Providing counterparty tokens will allow us to store future engagement. We will look into this immediately, if we do it with is very probable, you'll be one of the first to receive some tokens for your lead. Thanks and we will remember that you Of course liquidity is the key, we must be able to convert the received item to whatever

Could someone post an example of a the proper api string for Poloniex's trading api "returnBalances"? From the info gleamed off https://www.poloniex.com/api I know I can get an error message by using the following: https://www.poloniex.com/tradingApi?command=returnBalances But I don't know where or how to add Key and Sign to the headers. This is the only description given on the site: All calls to the trading API are sent via HTTP POST to https://poloniex.com/tradingApi and must contain the following headers: Key - Your API key. Sign - The query's POST data signed by your key's "secret" according to the HMAC-SHA512 method. Additionally, all queries must include a "nonce" POST parameter. The nonce parameter is an integer which must always be greater than the previous nonce used. I'd love an example showing the proper inclusion of the Key and Sign string. Forgive me, I'm just learning some of this stuff. you are more likely to get a faster correct response if you pose the matter to poloniex via the chat area. It's a long question so you will need to be creative with but I think that will be more effective good luck Thanks. They helped. Unfortunately what I'm trying to do requires a GET API so I can't pull any info from their apis at this time. yeah, I saw it, sorry it didn't work out U got to speak to the head guy directly, that was kinda cool at least
