(I suggest that discussion of what suchmoon and tmfp said about leverage should be treated with appropriate discretion, insofar as that leverage still apparently exists.)

I have much more than a name. I have address, pictures, family info, and proof that he is an extorter and a briber. I have no intention of publishing any of this as of right now. Let's hope he doesn't share what is a private script.

Well, shared it was, so now what?

aTriz has taken the "publish and be damned" decision, presumably (dangerous word) on the basis he is pretty much personally doxxed anyway with what's already out there, thus nullifying that aspect of the alia leverage.
Which presumably (!) makes this

hyperbole?
1302  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 2% a day Challenge, compound interest. on: March 09, 2018, 05:18:49 PM
Start with ..... a little bit of technical analysis and a little bit of fundamental analysis (Dont need to be a expert in either or, just know basic).
There is a saying "A little knowledge is a dangerous thing".
You may be about to find out why.

Quote
I found out that if you start with $1000 USD and you make 2% a day for 365 days, while reinvesting your profits, you come out with $1,376,401 USD at the end of the 365 days.

Why stop there? After three years you'll be up $2,613,292,844,427....

Quote
a .5%-2% daily return. Making that in crypto isn't necessarily hard to be honest.
Are you speaking from experience?

1305  Economy / Reputation / Re: Culpable for being compromised? Also: A further question; and about that hash... on: March 08, 2018, 07:37:03 PM
Can you post the script alia gave you? If not - why?
No, I'm not allowed due to the threat of my dox being released, you can try ask alia for it.

And you trust the unstable lying shitcunt (thanks TMAN) to keep her word and NOT dox you... and NOT blackmail you further... good luck with that.

You're really making it harder to trust you. You said you'll find it. You told alia to do her worst. You're now backpedaling. I think the answer to the OP's question is "probably not".

Yeah, this ^^^^
Now that you've shown that your actions are under the influence of an unstable entity because blackmail, it would be difficult to see how to trust that any of your future actions will also not be vulnerable to his/her/its demands, especially in the marginal world of shit tokens where you do business.

@suchmoon, @tmfp, you make a reasonable point—but thereupon, I have a reasonable question for you:  When a good-faith party makes naïve mistakes which cause him to get backed into a corner by a criminal extortionist who obtains personally identifiable information, what is the best strategy to recover?

Having reviewed the matter carefully, I think that the best possible assumptions about aTriz are the most probable assumptions:  A naïve individual with some admitted flaws (including past gambling addiction) was acting in good faith, and got fooled worst by a “confidence artist”—one who also fooled many other people to various degrees.  And I think it’s clear that the principal question about aTriz (the vouch for the script) was in a different category than assigning blame for a leak of PII.  Really, could you hold aTriz culpable for the unforeseen consequences of having made a Paypal transaction!?
....

Excuse the quote edit, but culpability is irrelevant, as is speculation about aTrix's story of naive brainfade in getting himself into this situation.
The best strategy to recover?
In the movies? A big mea culpa scene with loved ones and strings and tears is an option.
In organized crime? Run for the hills, before your erstwhile buddies rub you out because you're a compromised weakness that threatens them.
In crypto? Dump the account and start again.

The "script" is incidental now.

1307  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: New mining-scams - do not invest on: March 08, 2018, 05:18:50 PM
The oldest and longest of these threads is here.
It hasn't been updated regularly recently, but it is useful for newbies to have a look thru, especially as it suggests criteria which should be applied and met before any investment is contemplated.
Not all scams are straightforward to spot and are not all outright thefts by bad actors.
Some have some mining going on which satisfies superficial inspection, but they actually sell far more capacity than that which they have, so-called fractional mining.
These are usually accompanied by an MLM sales structure, where the priority is to get the investors money in (to satisfy the upline commission threshholds) irrespective of the ability of the token mining to provide promised returns, and then use various excuses to reduce payments to fit what money is left over.
Due diligence about any investment is something essential, people should not become dependent on lists compiled by others, they should develop their own critical abilities.
The first question that one should ask oneself is "Why?" when presented with a scheme, mining or other, which promises fantastic ROI.
"Why do they need my money if they can earn 200% (or whatever)? Why not keep it all for themselves?"

Invest in btc cloud mining . The best payouts and timely payments. Check it yourself

Fuck off and take your scam with you.

At this point it seems like an attempted doxing and an implied threat of doxing.

With a touch of bunny boiling.

It's good to see how little interest is being shown in scams like this one these days, only 24 views in three days.
Hopefully, the scammers will give up and do something useful for a living, but I doubt it....

Negative trust for you, Spaceman.

A couple off the top of my head:

Format
Walls of text are offputting, pertinent points get lost. Space is free.

Punctuate
Learn the basics; capitalization at the beginning of sentences.

1312  Economy / Reputation / Re: Evidence of alias (u=1764044) long con scam! on: March 07, 2018, 01:34:36 PM
3. If aTriz have no experience with gambling...

I don't like gambling, and had some sort of an addiction a couple years back.

Addiction=experience?

Another thing which doesn't add up, in "recovery" from any addiction, it's usual to run a mile should temptation show itself.

1314  Economy / Reputation / Re: Can you still believe aTriz words? Reopened, too many open questions on: March 07, 2018, 12:11:55 PM
aTriz is a scammer. I have proof of him doing some very shady things, including extortion and bribery. Do not trust him.
Fuck you

I have done nothing of this scammy behavior that alia has said I have. She is trying to get me to admit to these things, simply because she has my personal information. My trust is everything and worth more than my privacy. Fuck you, do your worst.

I will answer any questions about this from anyone except quickseller, please re ask your questions since I can't find any right now.

*Ignoring an extortionist accusing someone else of extortion*

aTriz, is there any linkage between alia possessing your personal data and the unprecedented 'signature' deal you did?
I mean, in light of what has transpired, it's not unreasonable to see both the "script" vouch and the large upfront payment being hush money/favor made under threat of doxxing/whatever.
That or not, you appear to have got yourself in a right fucking mess, to be honest.
How on earth does a loose cannon newbie end up with your "personal information"??
Was it freely given?

The sig campaign was entirely independent. He saw my talent and high quality, and was willing to reserve it for the long run.

Thanks.

1316  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bit-miner.com MIA on: March 07, 2018, 11:24:31 AM
Confusion is always likely when referring to sites with generic bit/miner combinations in their names. Bitminer.io and other variations have been very basic scams, that's for sure.
From the smallest amount of checking, it does appear that bit-miner.com has been running for about four years with basically the same MO ("MaaS"), setup and website.
According to their blog they are currently selling 'shares' in hashrate from 100 X S9's purchased in November.
@ $25 per 100 Gh, with 15% total deductions, their ROI looks to be around 320 days at current difficulty. However, this means that their total charged costs equate to ~ $0.01 per kWh for S9's, (including electricity).

For them to be so low profile after such a long time in terms of feedback, either good or bad, is surprising, they have certainly flown under my radar.
They would certainly fail any basic due dilligence test made by a potential investor, no proof of mining, total anonymity etc. etc.
Any screen shots of their back end would be informative.

Thanks for vouching for me.

That's no vouch for you or the non existent "script".
The dust you paid him would have been wiped out and much more as soon as he was tempted to bet real money.
And written off with "Oh well, I told you it wasn't 100%...."

Quote
The script was making profit... until I posted that I will stop using the script, and just began yolo betting for fun. Any bets I make from then on say nothing about my script.

You are now implying that the closed thread proved that the "script" worked?
Please.

I paid out a lot. Almost $5k. Say what you will about that

Yeah, without checking with each of your "winners", for the sake of argument I accepted that you did pay out.
Seeing as the "script" has been proven not to exist/work, the question was 'Why?'
Pro Tip: don't bother to answer that.

No, that's the thing. The only thing that was "proven" was that no script can be profitable in the long run.

So you don't consider that the thread you just closed proves that the script doesn't work in any time period? It was just having an off day?
Define the period over which you think it does work.
Define "long run".

Quote
For me, the script works. Maybe I was just lucky.

So, you were "lucky" when no-one was looking, unlucky when they did?

Has your English always been this bad?

I'd say from a look thru his posting history that it's pretty similar now, grammar and punctuation wise, to how it's been in the past.
