1301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Returning to Buy from Local Bitcoin after nearly 3 year break, Now I'm scared. on: September 18, 2016, 12:24:55 PM
Im a few years out of date, but I actually thought it was better than the exchanges (more trustworthy)
Im struggling with who or where to trust !
there are many other trusted exchanges which have come up with their services and are much more faster than localbitcoins. over time, you will come to know about everything that had changed under your absence provided that, you will be active enough in this forum from now on.
Ok so ... I was bright enough to choose a trusted trader on Local Bitcoin who pointed me to his page on the Data Protection Register.
Panic over.
Thanks for the wake up call guys.
good. now what ? lock this thread- bottom left corner of this page.
1302  Other / Meta / Re: How does one reclaim a hacked account? on: September 18, 2016, 12:07:40 PM
Only Theymos and BadBear can recover hacked accounts. Did you PM them regarding your situation?

Just be patient and don't loose hope. I really hope you get this sorted out.
Badbear is no longer active in this forum. i am judging this by watching his last active date in the forum and theymos is also a very busy person. so i think that it is better to send a pm to the new administrator, cyrus. his profile link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=78147 hopefully, he can solve the problem.
1303  Other / Off-topic / Re: how many people do you think knows about bitcoin in your community? on: September 18, 2016, 05:00:49 AM
Im wondering how many people you knew uses or know about btc in your small community..

Mind to share your thoughts..
none except me. i tried to explain about bitcoin to my friends but they were not interested in it. maybe, i am not a good explainer ? lol. btw, as time will pass, i am sure that btc will be known to many people but as of now, bitcoin  is still lagging way behind fiat. it is normal because its only been 7 years or so since btc was made. we have to give it some time.
1304  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Just converted 0.5 mBTC to 8 mBTC on: September 18, 2016, 03:20:56 AM
so you have won 8 mbtc ? but what  others have to do with your winnings ? are you going to share your bits with others ? no, so why to make a thread which is of no use. you should better just enjoy, buy a beer for yourself and celebrate for your huge winning. btw, are you ready to cry once you loose all of your bits ? its all about gambling. lol.
1305  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: September 17, 2016, 02:41:39 PM
just a heads up! a new signature campaign has opened up lately.
campaign name: Komodo signature and  avatar campaign
rates: Member 0.0040 BTC/week
Full Member 0.0045 BTC/week
Senior Member 0.0050 BTC/week
Hero Member 0.0075 BTC/week
Legendary Member 0.0075 BTC/week

Where, please post up the link? Are those rates right? would mean just over 0.03 for a hero member in a month hmmm, hope not many posts needed.
1. here you go: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1619450.0
2. the same question arose in my mind at first but the rates are correct, but they may reconsider the rates later, as the owner has already clarified in his post.
3. minimum number of posts required is 25, till the ICO or the campaign ends.
-snip-
The rate for the campaign is much lower
you should post your opinion in their official campaign thread. i am not associated with that campaign.

1307  Economy / Speculation / Re: why should anyone invest in btc right now? on: September 17, 2016, 08:13:54 AM
Is there really a future for it?  Where would btc be used instead of your traditional cashless money via debit/credit cards etc?
1. yes there is a bright future for btc. in 2010, the price of btc was very very low, less than 40$, while today the price has increased upto 600$. btc has a great potential and it can make you very rich even if you just hold it and sell at the right time unlike fiat.
2. btc can be used in many online shops to buy electronics and other goods. but we still have to wait for the day when btc can be used in most of the physical shops as well. and believe, we dont have to wait too long for that day to come.
1308  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Alternative to localbitcoin on: September 17, 2016, 06:13:48 AM

First, thank you for the quick answer.
This is actually the first time i'm visiting Paxful website and seem pretty nice. you've got several payment options (seem to have more than 100 payment methods).

Have you alread used it before?
Do you have good feedback?

I'm actually living in Brussel so i want to be able to make trades in Euro and mostly use Paysafecard or different types of vouchers
i can vouch for paxful. it is one of the most trusted exchange website.  you can check their social account to see the feedbacks of the users and get the latest news about the exchange website. good luck!
1309  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Please Help about COINBASE on: September 17, 2016, 05:27:04 AM
@op, did you even try to contact the coinbase support ? the support can give you an accurate solution for your problem. btw, better dont use these centralized wallets next time. there are many other trusted wallets like electrum. why not use that instead of keeping your coins in a place where the company has full access to your coins ?

You can go to blockchain.info or another site like that and search the address or follow through the transaction to the address.  You show the page with the QR code about your transaction.  Click the TX number and then click his address.
what rubbish are you saying ? better read the thread carefully next time before posting!
1310  Economy / Economics / Re: Somewhere money fast? on: September 17, 2016, 04:56:32 AM
Hello,

Where i get money fast? Last basic income goes to bills and rent...  Embarrassed
Working buddys buy new phones, new cars, own houses etc
Im looking for new job leave that *beep* behind.  Lips sealed
1. it is possible to get rich in a very short period of time through gambling but it is not really recommended since it also involves major risks.
but you have to take big risks to get big money in your case.
if you are ready to take this risk then you can go ahead.
2. just do trading with altcoins and if you get lucky then you may become rich in no time.
3. you can offer some services like lending, writing, painting, etc to earn some extra money. and believe me, many people got rich just by offering their services.
4. its all about luck and some knowledge ofcourse. if you have both then nobody can stop you from becoming a millioner.
1311  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Has anyone used quickbt? they took my money and never delivered... on: September 17, 2016, 04:01:20 AM

i have not tried that service yet but after doing some few searches i am sorry to say you that you have been scammed. there are many scam accussation threads against that company. thread links: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=486801.0 , https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1212844.0 , https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1133963.0 and many more. btw, who adviced you to use that site ? and why didn't you do a quick search about that site atleast before using it ? lesson learned!
1312  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where do Bitcointalk members invest besides cryptocurrencies? on: September 16, 2016, 06:40:38 AM
besides crypto, i invest my money in gold and silver. they give slow and small profit but it is ok for a person like me. sometimes, i also invest my fiat money in some reputable physical companies which gives good profits. btw, honestly saying, i invest in bitcoins more than fiat.

personally I invest it to trading , gambling, and also I hold it and wait until the bitcoin getting high  Grin
whatever you said is just rubbish. you should first properly read the title of the thread atleast.
1313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My Bitcoin Dice Strategy. What is your Bitcoin Dice Strategy? on: September 16, 2016, 05:32:35 AM
I want to share my bitcoin dice strategy. You need 0.01 btc, Bet Chance 50% to 55%. Try to bet (Your 1st bet) 0.0001 btc, If lose bet 0.0002, if lose again 0.0004 if lose again 0.0008, if lose again 0.0016, if lose again 0.0032 btc. Once you win back your bet to 0.0001 btc. Slowly but surely. Hope this strategy helps.

what if we never win ? it is possible in gambling that sometimes you divide your bits and bet more and more but everytime you may get unlucky. also, this is not a strategy. i think that every gambler in their positive mind plays in the same way in dice games. btw, you cannot have a good strategy in dice games unless you are a cheater ofcourse.
1314  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: we give bonus coins 60 euros for new members, number limited on: September 16, 2016, 04:53:11 AM
Well you all know everything on internet need look with caution.
In site you have information about people that are behind this project.

Hope you still have time for bonus.

You can reg for free and check site for yourself.
i am interested as well. shoot me a pm with the invitation link and i will decide  further. looks like a very different project compared to other coins. btw, will you give 60 euros to each person for registering or is it a reserved bonus to divide among all the participants ? please clarify.
Thank you for your reply.
But what is the relationship of this project with the crypto-currency?
lol. you should do a quick search on google about "what is crypto currency" and check if that definition is applicable to this project. then you can easily answer to your own question.
1315  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinigy Trading Platform ? on: September 16, 2016, 04:27:39 AM
I want to get some opinions on this trading platform called "Coinigy", how legit is it &  and is it profitable to use ?
I checked their pricing plans https://www.coinigy.com/pricing/ and  It seems like there isn't a big difference between paid and free plan either
personally, i have not tried or even heard about that site before but as they are getting a good response in their social account, i assume that the site maybe legit. also, maybe you can find some more information about them from their youtube channel. just a few quick searches. hope it helps!
1316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice Game Strategy on: September 16, 2016, 03:06:46 AM
I want to know your strategy for dice game.pls share
there is no strategy for dice games. it fully depends upon your luck. if you are lucky enough then you will win otherwise you have to face the loss. imo, you should try sports betting because sometimes strategies works in this game. but it all depends upon your knowledge about the game. good luck!
1317  Other / Meta / Re: How to get positive trust? on: September 14, 2016, 08:33:07 AM

-snip-
Trust has levels. The lower the number the higher the status. The best is Default Trust level 1 - you have there admin, moderators,  ancient members.
If they gave their positive rating to someone else - then these people become default trust users level 2, and so forth.
you are absolutely wrong. if dt level 1 members give positive rating to someone then it will obviously not make that person a DT level 2 member. for becoming a dt 2 member, the dt 1 member should add the person to his trust list.
1318  Other / Meta / Re: How to get positive trust? on: September 14, 2016, 08:12:25 AM
Can you guys tell me as to how I can attain positive trust for a Bitcoin account. At the moment I am neutral.
you dont get a positive trust but you earn a positive trust. to earn a positive trust, you have to work very hard-
1. you should help others in their problems by giving effective solutions.
2. do more and more successfull trades with members.
3. dont try to cheat anyone.
4. the most important thing- dont beg for a positive trust. if you do so, then you could instead get a negative trust.

Is there any way to get rid of negative trust?
the only way to get rid of a negative trust is to contact the person who negged you.
And can you have both positive and negative trust?

Smiley
yes.
1319  Economy / Services / Re: Escrow service on: September 14, 2016, 06:49:55 AM
Hi guys!
I would like to offer my service as escrow.
I know that I'm not trusted yet but there is always a start!
I'll do this for free I just wanna help the members of this community.
Im always online if im not asleep.
In case u need it please just pm me.
Best regards!
1. why would someone trust you with their hard earned bits ?
2. do you have any trade history ? i dont think so. lol.
3. why are you suddenly having the feeling of providing escrow service ? you know that becoming an escrow is not really an easy job.
it requires high trust, good trade history and good communication skill.
4. believe me or not but you could receive a red flag very soon from one of the DT members if you dont lock this thread.
1320  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cryptocoin gamble site ranking - user bitcointalk rate on: September 14, 2016, 04:00:12 AM
it was probably not a very good idea to make this thread since there is already a similar thread made here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1602383.0 . you should better do a search in the forum before making any thread just to check if the thread that you are trying to make is already made or not. it is a good practice and believe me, it helps a lot in reducing spams. now i suggest you to better lock this thread and let the discussion be continued in the old thread. just my 2 cents!
