i brought in about 1mh today and my stales are terrible. im hovering between 15-25% personal stales, and the pool is sitting at 81% efficiency. I noticed some big boys came into the pool to play today - things a little haywire or can you offer some tips to reduce stales? using cgminer currently with 4 5830s.

1305  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why isn't someone at BFL cancelling and refunding my order? Son has Cancer!!!!!! on: February 21, 2013, 03:20:25 PM
in case this is true (you'll have to forgive my disbelief ) , i wish your son get well as soon as possible.
From my experience with bfl is that communication isnt that fast. My last e-mail took them 6 days to reply. I havent seen a situation where a refund is not honored.
now.. in that remote possibility of you lying about something like that for a "quick refund" or something... you are just [......- lot of words come into mind-....]

Well the first reply I got took a matter of less than a few hours, and all she did was post a link to the shipping status update page. Then I sent another stating I want it cancelled, then the next day another, and still no response...

But like I said, I'm a wreck right now and I can't think rationally sometimes.
i had my refunded order within 24 hours. use the contact form on their website and remember that BFL cant even be bothered to post updates, so you're sure as shit not going to get weekend responses from them.
1306  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: GUIminer troubles still - Please Help. on: February 21, 2013, 03:17:16 PM
Not sure about the 13.2 set but the 13.1s dropped my performance when using CGminer, so I went back to the 12.11s.

Uninstall all AMD software, reboot, then goto syswow64 and delete amdocl.dll. Reboot and try 12.11 beta4 or better.

gl Smiley
You dont have to go through all that, just download driver sweeper (now known as driver fusion) for free and have it remove all amd instances. reboot and install whichever drivers you want to try.  http://treexy.com/

also, ditch guiminer and try cgminer. and check your intensity settings and clear all flags. only time ive experienced the issue youre having is when i went too high on intensity and my cards took a dump.

is this an updated personal blockchain or the ones online that are already well over a year old?

Really simple on SR there is nobody that sells seeds and if there would be it would be me

sow you will get the same seeds and same stealth shipping

and in allot of country's you may own seeds but you may not grow them
Problem is, that's what SR is for. You don't want to sell on SR because you dont want to pay the vendor fee i'm sure. Well, we don't want the forums cluttered with sales of illegal goods. It brings negative attention to the site and BTC, and is completely unnecessary. I'd urge you to lock this thread, and explore avenues to increase your professionalism and legitimacy.

Who the fuck are you Mr. Joined here earlier this month? What makes you think you get to just show up and dictate to other forum members what is and isn't ok? Selling marijuana seeds is completely legal and within the forum terms of service in spite of your personal issues with it. The price for economic freedom is some times seeing people sell things that might offend you. Deal with it or go use Paypal if you don't like it.
Hello Mr. Random Internet Hothead! By bringing up someone's join date as a sense of accomplishment or attempt to impose seniority on a public forum you've effectively labeled yourself as a mental midget. Just thought you should know.

By the way - here's an excerpt from the TOS here at BTCtalk. Thought you might want to correct yourself.
"ILLEGAL SITES / TRADES Do not Post Trade Offers Obviously That are Illegal in Most of the first-World Countries. Do not link to or advertise sites that are built to allow such trades. "

So you don't think you should contribute something to the community before you come here and start brow beating people into accepting your narrow world view? You are so important that you just get to show up and tell everyone else how to trade huh? The fact is in most of the world this is completely legal. I am very proud of you for living in a backward totalitarian state, but most of the world doesn't follow that regime. Because it is perfectly legal, it is well within the Bitcointalk terms of service. If it wasn't we wouldn't be having this discussion here. Maybe you should focus more on trades that concern you personally, like this one for example: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=143972.0

RE: Marc Emery- This guy here isn't selling millions of dollars worth of seeds and putting it directly into legalization and medical marijuana activist groups so I wouldn't worry.
Hey pal, i contribute daily to the cryptocurrency community. Maybe you should realize that not everything happens on these forums. I'm currently spearheading a project to introduce BTC to local charities and community strengthening projects to promote awareness and use.

Either way, you seem like a complete douchebag (and many others have told me so), so i'll just go ahead and make you my first ignore. Have a good day.

P.S. - My 'narrow world view' is called the law.

I've only sent out two of these so far (btw, what did you guys think?). If you want your free bill just PM me your address and a link to the design.
I haven't received mine yet, but when i do, i'll take it into the photo lab and take some high quality pictures and post a review for you.
1314  Economy / Goods / Re: **Selling Marijuana Seeds 4-BTC**Indoor**Outdoor** on: February 18, 2013, 10:10:17 PM
MJ seeds are not an illegal good in Canada.
So all the seeds being sold are non-viable? That's the only way they're legal in Canada, unless legislature has changed recently.
Well if you mean by non-viable that the seeds would not work at all, then no if u give them light, water, and some sort of soil they will grow
Then it's illegal.

As to the other claims, if something was sent via USPS and insured, it came with tracking. If the USPS confirms receipt of the item (i.e. it is in process, went out for distribution, etc), then it's between the buyer and the USPS. I'm only here clarifying these things because i sell online as well, and didn't want the incorrect information here to become accepted fact to someone who doesn't know better.

That's what I would have thought. I asked them for a tracking number and they told me that there wasn't one. I suspect that they don't send it via insured post, but send it via regular post and insure it some other way? Why else would an insurance company be involved?

I'd also be curious to know - in both cases of non-receipt, was the shipping address on both overseas (i.e. out of the continental US)?

Outside of continental US here, Australia. Where, incidentally, consumer protection laws make what happened here blatantly illegal.
Check the below two links. Both are orders i had from customers in Australia over the last few months. Both confirmed received well over a month ago, both never had their tracking status updated after they left the United States. Every problem i've ever had with international shipping occurs after it leaves the USPS's hands. Other country's postal systems are just poorly run. However, i'd be willing to bet if you spent more time than just checking the tracking number online, and dug a little deeper (called your country's postal system), you would find your answer. I don't believe that you were scammed at all.

yeah just a warning I never got my 2 bars of silver from coinabul some 6 months ago, or a refund on my 8btc paid... why ?? because the guy never paid customs and apparently the bars were returned to sender, but coinabul never repaid me the BTC or declared they recieved the bars back... a trusted friend of mine then told me to watch out for coinabul as the guy running it is a sly piece of work and skimps on anything and he was not surprised by my situation...

btw it took like 2 months for the guy to even send the bars in the first place.... if he ever did...
Sellers aren't responsible for duty/VAT fees at the destination country. That's beyond absurd that you don't understand that.
