calling someone simple is an insult. so stop calling your readers simple. it doesn't mean what you think it means.
1302  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: lost BTC during use of electron cash on: November 15, 2017, 05:09:35 AM
what version of electrum are you using? electrum not electron cash. the version number is listed in the window title and can also be ascertained via the help menu > about.
1303  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Private keys on: November 14, 2017, 11:15:11 PM
Your trezor holds your private keys. The entire point of using a hardware wallet is that it keeps your private keys away from your computer.

In order to get your priv keys on to your computer you will have to restore from your trezor seed. Begin via file > new/restore. On the seed entry step click on options and check bip39. After that when you right click on addresses in the restored wallet the private key option will be there.
1304  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Invalid Addresses!? on: November 13, 2017, 05:27:21 PM
Create a new wallet using file > new/restore. When you asked whether you want a segwit or standard wallet choose standard.
1305  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum-3.0.1 does not open - Windows 10 on: November 13, 2017, 04:39:01 AM
find your wallet file and rename it to something else. then run electrum and restore your wallet from seed:

1307  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Replaceable transaction disappeared from wallet after 24 hours... on: November 13, 2017, 04:24:28 AM
the transaction won't show up on blockchain.info. it's a known issue with that site.
1308  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Address - Silly Question on: November 11, 2017, 10:54:50 PM
yes it is best to use a different address for every transaction:

1309  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Cheapest way to send bitcoin to different address on: November 10, 2017, 07:20:34 PM
Why would you need to do that? If the answer is privacy, it's probably better if you just use a mixer to "clean" your coins and break every connection between your ANXPRO account and your final address.

Otherwise, I don't see any other reason why would you break one transaction between several addresses.

Maybe he has so many bitcoins that he wants to divide them to different addresses. I wouldn't want to keep more than 100BTC in one address...

there is no benefit in doing that
1310  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: how electrum store Bitcoin in private keys? on: November 10, 2017, 05:38:40 PM
thank you pooya87 and HCP for detail explanation.

Is it when I receiving bitcoin, the Bitcoin only goes to the one address I gave, not other address in my wallet?

Yes it'll go to the address you gave the sender but when you spend your bitcoin they will be moved around. Some of them will be sent to change addresses. Electrum manages all this for you so you shouldn't fixate on addresses too much. All the addresses in your wallet are yours. Ideally you use a different address for each transaction.

If you want to know more about change then see the following two articles:

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Coin_analogy
https://en.bitcoin.it/Change

1311  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Android not showing my BTC and transactions with imported segwit xpub on: November 08, 2017, 07:19:15 PM
If it's a segwit wallet then the extended public key is a ypub or a Ypub. An xpub will create a standard non-segwit wallet. See the release notes for 3.0:

1312  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Assistance Needed on: November 05, 2017, 11:21:00 PM
no there is no limit. you can try until the sun goes supernova Smiley
1313  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum wallet keeps on "synchronizing" on: November 05, 2017, 04:47:23 PM
Use the installer version for 2.9.3 not any of the others.
1314  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Assistance Needed on: November 05, 2017, 04:45:13 PM
Regarding support for electrum it is open source software so support is by the community. This forum, the #electrum irc channel on freenode and the /r/electrum sub-reddit are the main places where you can get support. The electrum developers do not have access to your wallet seed or private keys so they can't help you recover access to your bitcoins. Those secrets remain on your hard drive encrypted by the wallet password.

Also to add to what HCP said in the past we've heard about malware that creates electrum wallets on people's computers in the hope that they send bitcoin to those wallets. So if you didn't create the wallet in the past it could have been created by some malware program.
1315  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Help with Electrum on: November 05, 2017, 04:40:45 PM
You don't need an anti-virus on a mac. Very few malware programs are aimed at mac and linux users so no point running an anti-virus.
1316  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Different address in Electrum on: November 04, 2017, 07:00:26 AM
Yes you can generate many addresses from the MPK using scripts. If you tell me what programming language you prefer I can recommend a suitable solution.
1317  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Understanding Electrum Codes on: November 01, 2017, 06:17:40 PM
You can ask in #electrum on freenode. The devs tend to gather there.
1318  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Doubt regarding the wallet fees. on: November 01, 2017, 05:16:30 PM
Another option is to keep your eye on these sites:

https://tradeblock.com/bitcoin/

https://btc.com/stats/unconfirmed-tx

You can time your transaction for when there is less congestion in the mempool. Fees fall during that time period. Usually this happens on weekends. So during that time you can manually set a low fee and spend your bitcoins.

Before you manually set a low fee please make sure you enable replace by fee. So follow the first two steps here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1916963.msg19015496#msg19015496

and in addition to the above make sure you check edit fees manually on the fees tab in preferences. This will allow you to both see the dynamic fee options or alternatively enter your own fee manually based on what you see on btc.com.

This is a common problem. Please follow the instructions here:
