for the people that will actually invest will make little difference, but i don't really know how they are really working this marketing stuff, so maybe they will be effective  The referrer could give his friend half of the tokens back, for example. That could motivate some people to invest. Affiliate marketing is very common on the Internet but pretty new to the ICO world. Affiliate programs, no matter where they are used, are all the same... people get rewarded for bringing more people into the project. And... I'm not that pro for this kind of rewarding, because a lot of bigger whales will gain profit on this... some whales are part of groups that make large investments, grabbing a lot of affiliate bonusses and then they leave the project, causing it to dump fast... I'm more a fan of investment bonusses... this way you only get the reward when you actualy invest own money in it. If you invested in a project, you already stated you believe in it and you trust it to return a good revenue on investment. Yes, but every program to attract more people have advantages and disadvantages, so devs have to decide, which method they choose. Whales always can make big wins, that has always been the case, where money is, will be mor money. Being this a social media projetc I think that is normal to have a strong referral bonus. Because the more people are involved in the project the more popular it will be. That means more users for the platform. Thats great for the user but how do you insure the income for the company? Its not like that workers or the serverfarm wont cost any money.
I can understand your view and respect your vision but there is a little problem in there, the people you are trying to reach had very little money or not have any money at all. So it would be hard for them to pay your fee.
If they start business in Asia they could limit their server farm to Asia as well so that it doesn't cost much. Most businesses start with losses though. It may take some time to attract enough users. Of course, there would be ways and not every people in this countries are amazingly poor but still, it is a tough crowd and it would be hard to convince them. If the price-quality balance will be convenient and acceptable, it's not very hard to make people buy the products or services. The only problem is that in some countries people did just not get used to paying for such stuff at all. That's what they need market research for. But the team seems to be pretty determined about starting in under developed countries, so I assume they've done their research and they know what they are doing. Some companies or startups are budgeting losses at the beginning of their project, maybe cryptoflix team budgeted the same. losses at the beginning. Perhaps, that's the way to go. Yet, in Asia you have a good number of bankable population. Which email adress did they use? Look in the header of the email, if you dont know how, google it. Ask them directly, why are you asking here and wasting time. Sure, it is 90% fake; but if it's not you'd really better hurry up I am not wasting time. It´s an issue for me. Seems they got a leaked my email adress. This is no standard fake mail, the sender knew i participated in the sphere ico/bounty.... Unfortunately there are many profiteers trying to sit on the success achieved by Sphere, it's the second complaint about fake programs and airdrops. Am looking forward to this and hopefully we'll see some partnerships with all this conferences they're attending. The project still define get the attention as the idea is executable and a great team behind it. Let's hope they will gather a large community of supporters on their large journey to finish their roadmap. Such big projects like this need a huge community. That would be really interesting although there might be big differences depending on where you live. And it will depend on the data we have, isn't it? Different people will have different estimations, I think! Yes, I think it highly depends on the type of data a user is ready to sell and how much it is worth for companies/institutions. Of course, it depends on the type of data, but since data are selled to big companies since years, there will be an average value per user and per day. It would be interesting to get a feeling, if it is 10 ct, 50 ct, 1$ or 5$ in average per day. I think a guess estimate on average user earnings would suffice, just to give an idea on the viability of the project.  We will have better days to live in relation to our data, which were previously shared randomly, without any communication or gain for their owners, to see something like Biotron being implemented is wonderful, having a chain of its own will be a differential both |

When does their tokens list on exchange? And what exchange are they listed on?  . What is the price of SAT on ETH now?  . Usually tokens get listed on exchanges after the ICO is over and which exchanges it's gonna be trading on isn't also announced in advance. As for the price of SAT, it's not linked to ETH but to USD. 1 SAT = 0,14 USD You'll most likely be able to buy on ForkDelta as soon as the tokens have been distributed. I expect it to be after the ICO as well. Just after ico, forkdelta mostly offers the cheapest prices nowadays. Too many weak hands and very bad market right now. Still it is not a sure thing. Usually bounty hunters dump their tokens and crash the value of token so forkdelta shouldn't be used as a indicator for ICOs. And also there are even some areas that have no asphalt road and electricity yet. I don't think you can count them for this kind of statistic. There are only small part of society who wouldn't accept technology, hence it is safe to ignore them in this platform. There is a difference between people who wouldn't accept technology in general and people who dont want that every breath, puls, heartbeat at sport, walking, making sex, looking television is measured and analyzed. If there is a way to store it anonymously on the blockchain I think nobody will have a problem with this. I hope the devs will do their best to achieve anonymous data storage. This data doesn't need to be anonymous. Hey Everyone, Just a quick comment about Netflix and subscription models: We do not consider Netflix to be a competitor. This is because Netflix is a subscription based service - like pay tv, but without a fixed schedule for when you can see the content on there. Netflix primarily license content for a one-off payment to the content owner and they also produce their own content. With a subscription you can watch the content as many times as you want. For content owners, Netflix is one of the last windows of film distribution that you have - because as long as you are one Netflix - no one who is on Netflix will pay to watch your film or TV show on a pay per view basis. Netflix are very good at what they do and I have the deepest respect for them. However it is important to say, that the films and TV shows that are on Netflix are not new - except for their own productions. So the new films on iTunes for instance will not be available on Netflix until many months after. And the new films and TV shows are the ones we are going for for CryptoFlix. Therefore we will not have Netflix as a competitor because our content will be different from theirs. In short - CryptoFlix will not be a subscription based streaming platform. Finally a few more replies to the wonderful debate: 1) There will not be advertising on CryptoFlix 2) We will start the platform in under developed countries - and very likely in Asia first 3) The price will be determined by the streaming quality chosen by the users - and the content owners will have more control over the pricing. So we are expecting to be competitive - otherwise how can we expect to even have a market let alone to compete with piracy.
