Alpha version (build 14) of Seuntjies DiceBot is available at seuntjie.com/dicebot/dicebot-v3-alpha-b14.zip

fixes issues at sd with the incorrect balance, should fix the 999dice issue mentioned above. If it does not, enable bot speed and set it to 3 bets/s or slower. added support for bitdice, fixed the simulation error mentioned above.
1362  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceBot (Martingale, Labouchere) for Just-Dice, PRC, 999dice and safedice on: July 03, 2015, 10:32:24 AM
seuntjie, does the simulator bet more than the balance?  It seems like it should stop instead but it keeps going.  So like if I do a bet sequence that makes it multiply by 10 at some point I've seen it where the bot will bet and show a win even thought it never had the balance to support a 10X bet.

This was indeed an error, Thanks for pointing it out, it has been fixed.

did anyone had a problem with the bot freezing up or lagging on you? jw before I actually consider this on primedice.
I have not experienced freezing with the latest few versions.  Betting at PD has been really stable for quite a while now. My bot was betting at prc for almost 2 days before dean took the site down for maintenance without any problems. When he brought the site back online, I simply logged in and continued betting, didn't have to restart the bot or anything.

But I guess vouching for my own program doesn't mean much right?

Mind Explaining that to me? I never understand what is preroll ?

The exact same question was asked in the past (with nearly the same wording). You can check the following quote for the details.

I never understand what a preroll is..
Mind Explaining that to me?

It is indeed a gamblers fallacy.

Imagine you start your bet with 1 satoshi, and you get a 20 losing streak, you bet:
1,2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256,512,1024,2048,4096,8192,16384,32768,65536,131072,262144,524288

Which means you wagered and lost 1048576, now you're busted because you don't have enough money for the next bet, but lets say you preroll 5 rolls, you bet:
1,1,1,1,1,2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256,512,1024,2048,4096,8192,16384,32768

Now you've wagered only 65539 and assuming the same bank, have enough for the next bet. So basically the fallacy is that you wont end up with a 25 losing streak, which is entirely possible of course.

As the guy asking for it intends, alot of people use prerolls with very small bets then hike their bets up to very large amounts. Same kind of fallacy

I couldn't have explained it better myself  Tongue

Hi seuntjie.

I have been using your bot with programmer mode with a strategy I coded, playing in the site 999dice.

Simulations look fine, but problem comes when betting real coins.

It bets 10 rolls and then following happens:

Then I try to log in with another 999dice bot and following happens:

Any help is welcomed.

I will look into this to get it fixed in the next version.
1365  Economy / Gambling / Re: DaDice.com - Next Gen Social Gambling Dice Experience | Progressive Jackpot on: June 28, 2015, 10:25:08 AM
hello , I'm trying to use dicebot , but the roll is not as fast as on the site .

I also see that there is an option bot speed . what I can set for better speed ?

I don't know about dicebot, most of our users are using Seunjie's bot and that is currently the only bot we endorse:

seuntjie.com/dicebot/dicebot-v3-alpha-b12.zip

my bot is dicebot (seuntjies DiceBot), and please don't use build 12, it's a bit unstable at dadice

seuntjie.com/dicebot/dicebot-v3-alpha-b13.zip is the latest build and is much more stable.

As for the speed of betting: According to steve the api is limited to 2/bets, although i've never been able to achieve more than about 0.75 bets/s. Also, Sid (dadice_dev) asked me to add a throttle to the bot that doesn't allow the placing bets withing 0.7 seconds of each other.

The bot speed cannot speed up the bot, it can only slow it down. If the bot speed option is disabled, the bot bets as fast as the site, your computer and your internet allows it to bet.
1366  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceBot (Martingale, Labouchere) for Just-Dice, PRC, 999dice and safedice on: June 27, 2015, 11:23:47 AM
Seuntjie,  I have a request.

Is it possible to add an option to the Fibonacci tab?  Where it says "When Level xx is reached", there are currently two options under that to either "stop" or "reset".  Is it possible to add a new "increment" part here that would override the other two increment options?

So when I lose at a certain level, I basically want to change the increment for maybe a couple of bets but then go back to original increment "on loss" that was set before.

Also... Does reverse Labouchere work?  It only seems to place a couple of bets or just one bet and then stops.  Am I doing it wrong?

Thanks

The problem with this, is after a few days or weeks, you're going to realize this doesn't work as well as you hoped, so you want to try another level, have it changed the rate of stepping a second time, then a third, then a fourth. Point is, It's not practical for me to make these changes to the bot every time. So instead I added this awesome little thing to the bot called the programmer mode. This allows you to do these kind of customizations yourself.

Yes reverse labouchere works. Labouchere isn't supposed to keep on betting indefinitely. Once it works through your list of bets, it should stop. Unless you set it to reset on a completing a series. also, the shorter your list of bets, the fewer bets it will place.
1367  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceBot (Martingale, Labouchere) for Just-Dice, PRC, 999dice and safedice on: June 26, 2015, 12:34:23 AM
I have a question about the "Stop Conditions" tab.  Specifically, about the "Reset After XXXX Btc Loss" part.  I'm hoping that will reset to the base bet after it hits a BTC loss of a specific amount.  So if my martingale is ticking up and it hits a specific amount of .001 btc, I want it to reset the base bet.

I'm hoping that's what the setting under the "Stop Conditions" does.  Am I getting that right?

Edit:  Part 2 of my question:  When I run the simulator, does it factor in the "Stop Conditions" and actually reset the bet as I specified in these settings?

there are two reset on xxxx btc loss.
the first: reset after xxxx btc STREAK loss -> if you're on a losing streak and lose xxxx btc IN THAT STREAK, it resets
the second: reset after xxxx btc loss -> if your session loss goes below the limit, it resets

if you're doing a pure martingale, the two settings are basically identical, but for other settings, like dAlembert, or a martingale with reset parameters for losing streaks their functions do differ.

part 2: it should.

Are you saying this bot can work on any dice website? if so it must be an holy grail that everybody is looking for.

Not all of them, but the popular ones. At the time of writing, the bot works at Just-dice, PrimeDice, PocketRocketsCasino, 999Dice, SafeDice, Dadice and Roll In. And I'm adding bitdice in the next few days
1369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Guide For Seuntjies Dice Bot on: June 23, 2015, 04:31:41 PM
Hey Seuntjie... i wanted to try out your bot with Just-Dice. Though it only asks me for the secret URL. I dont have one though. I created a user pass login and enable 2FA. I guess i need to disable 2FA first. But even then, i dont see where to add user pass.

Do i really have to create a new account to make it work with the bot?

You're using a very old version of the bot. I suggest upgrading the the latest one:
Alpha version (build 13) of Seuntjies Dicebot version 3 is available at http://seuntjie.com/dicebot/dicebot-v3-alpha-b13.zip

But for the version you're using. For the secret url, just use https://just-dice.com, when the site is loaded, go to the account tab and log in there. From then on, the bot will load the login screen like it does in your normal browser.
1370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Guide For Seuntjies Dice Bot on: June 19, 2015, 11:09:47 PM
i love your new version bot, but i cant play in PRC Dice... and sometimes its freeze in PD..

Are you sing the latest build (build 13)? I have no problem playing on prc and never had the bot freeze on pd either.
1371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Guide For Seuntjies Dice Bot on: June 18, 2015, 10:57:04 AM
hi, i can use it to dadice? i see only other 4 site dice

make sure you download the latest alpha version, then select dadice from the "site" menu at the top.
Note: for dadice, you log in using your username and api key, NOT username and password. To get your api key, log in to the site, open the menu on the left hand side, expand "account", then go to "settings". Enable your api in the popup window and copy the api key.

Hi SafeDice here me again, the super fan Elmo ~

i encountered a thing that seems the balance displaying function has some issue ?
as the image shows, after a bet i got the "negative" balance, but i can still bet,
also one things that often happens is the balance display get updated after 2, 3 bets.

I don't know if this is related to this :

saying that i have 0.04 balance now, and i withdraw some amount ( e.g. 0.02 ),
and when i back to play page, the balance showed below of the balance (e.g 0.018xxx) , and when i bet
again it shows the correct balance with the win/lose bet profit.

hope the description is clear, just want to improve the site !

Hey Elmo, thanks for the feedback!

There are 2 ways you get a balance update:
1) After betting, withdraw, invest, and other balance affecting actions
2) Periodic update

I think because your connection to the server is unstable, somehow you lost connection for the former update. I also found that you do deposit and withdrawal frequently, do you usually encounter this issue after doing deposit or withdrawal?

id like to know how he could have possibly got the balance negative...

This has to do with the way and which data gets transfered after a bet.

A lot of sites, like PD, send data regarding the bet, the player, and the site after a bet. others, like safedice, only send the bet data and rely on periodic updates for the other stats. this has the following implications.

PD always shows the correct stats after a bet, because the latest balance, player stats and site stats are sent along with the site. The server calculates all of the info and is then sent to the client, so it is guaranteed to be correct. The down side of this is if you log in at multiple locations at the same time and withdraw/bet, only the instance that placed the last withdraw/bet is up to date.

At SD, on the other hand, the server only sends info regarding the bet in response to a bet, then the client needs to calculate the new balance and stats, with the occasional request for the *correct* data from the server. every 15 seconds or so, every client should have requested the latest stats, so all clients should be pretty much up to date. This means slightly less load on the server, but could cause some inaccuracies. For example if you are betting, and receive a deposit, but the occasional pull of data fails because of a network error, and you go on a losing streak, the client might think you have a negative balance (because it doesn't know of the deposit), while the server knows that you balance is in fact positive.

I've encountered this with my bot on a few instances where the balance isn't updated after a deposit or a withdrawal from somewhere else and it ends up being higher or lower than it should.
1373  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceBot (Martingale, Labouchere) for Just-Dice, PRC, 999dice and safedice on: June 15, 2015, 08:18:30 AM
Seuntjie may i know how to setting bot for increase x% for every x rolls?

like if my base bet 100 sat, it will increase by 10% (10 sat) for every 100 losses so on until hit profit then reset from start again

thanks

now i also got error placing bet. Betting stopped

using SD XMR balance showed wrong..my balance should 1.4 xmr but bot show 14000 xmr

Easiest way is to use the programming mode with a little lua script. There should be a basic one similar to what you want a few pages back in this thread.

I'll take a look at the balance thing for xmr.

Thanks for this bot man its pretty awesome Smiley

My pleasure. Donations are always welcome Smiley

bot always get .net error for me idk why :O

Do you have .net 4.5 installed? What does the error say? .net has a lot of error messages for a lot of different things, so ".net error" doesn't say much.

please help me i cant start this bot

you should try pressing continue it would ignor the error and maybe it would run, also you should know that a lot of people think that 999dice is rigged

Try disabling zig zag in that version.
or try the newer version: Alpha version (build 13) of Seuntjies Dicebot is available at seuntjie.com/dicebot/dicebot-v3-alpha-b13.zip

HI , am using the bot 1st time at justdice, but few questions for settings

1) In the picture given in forum its showing bets on DOGE but when i open it , in actually its showing CLAM how to play the bot with DOGE

2) How to change the payout 1.98x to 2.00x or higher , reason being when making losses its 100% but when profit loosing 0.02% so ultimately its not covering the loss made .

3) so if my total bets are 4000 and i made profit 1500 bets and lost 2500 bets , then  am earning nothing .

Kindly correct me if am wrong and if any one can help me with guidelines for best settings to maximize the profit.

1) The picture on the forum is about a year old and was made when doge-dice was still active. You can't play in doge on just-dice. Also, the version that resembles that picture is nearly 6 months old. You should try the newer version. See below for a link

2) set your chance to the corresponding payout. for a 2x payout, your chance must be 49.5% to win. to calculate what your chance should be, take 99/payout. for example, for a 10x payout, your chance should be set to (99/10)=9.9%

3) this question doesn't make sense. I think you should read up on how the betting strategies work.

The best settings are what works best for you. There is no global best settings.

1376  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceBot (Martingale, Labouchere) for Just-Dice, PRC, 999dice and safedice on: June 07, 2015, 09:38:49 AM
Glad you got it working. Sorry I couldn't help you more, I have no idea why your one account didn't work.

It's something glitchy and it happened on a few different accounts.  Not sure if it's how I set it up or when I started using it or what but once it's glitched I just had to ditch the account.

I have more questions:

1.  Is it possible to reduce the amount of CPU usage consumed by the bot?

2.  Is it possible to reduce the amount of bandwidth consumed while using the bot?

The internet Nazis where I live have a terrible idea of what 'normal' bandwidth is and crunch us down to 150 gigs per month for $85.  So, I actually put the bot on a VPS and it ran okay there but the CPU usage is over 50% so I couldn't run more than one bot without it getting hectic and even crashing sometimes.

edit: when running on PD it's consuming close to 1GB of data per day.

It might be something to do with your password. If you have any non utf-8 characters in your password, you won't be able to log in with the bot.

as for your questions:

1. I tested cpu usage and the highest cpu usage I got was 2% at PRC. PD was around 1.5% and JD was just below 1%. Most of the time is spent waiting for a response from the server. Of course a higher betting speed means higher cpu usage, but I cant see it going above about 2.5%.

2. Bet less or reduce the betting speed using the bot speed setting. The bot communicates purely in post data and json with the sites, so no, there's no way to reduce the data usage. The bot sends and receives data constantly while betting, it's almost like downloading a file.
2.1: You can edit the source and disable the chat at primedice. That should reduce data consumption somewhat

If you run more than one instance from the same directory, it's likely the bot will crash. Both bots will try to write to and read from the same database file for the bets, and that could cause some issues. It's more likely that this is causing the bots to crash than the cpu usage.

Dear Seuntije

when will you solve Dadice problems? I mean balance problem and stopping after while

Well i haven't experienced the stopping problem, but I'm working on it. Should be soon
I sent you at this post the stopping problem , actually it takes few minutes to stop

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=307425.msg11457061#msg11457061

That should be fixed in the next build yes.

seuntjie, thanks again for replying.  My internet connection is stable and fast (50 Mb/s).  I'm not using a vpn.  JD works fine in v2.5 but I haven't been able to get it to work with any of the v3 versions and I've tried them all and I've tested on two different computers and with a VPN and without a VPN.

PD works great in v3_build6 and it really makes me wish I could see JD work too because of how smooth and less interruptions.  The nonce count is nice too.  Not sure if the nonce count is visible in JD like it is in PD but that's a really nice feature you put in there.

No one else out there having problems connecting to JD in the v3 bot?  Is there debug I could run in programming mode to learn more about the issue?  Does JD use a different port in v3 compared to v2.5 that may be getting blocked in my firewall?  But... I'm pretty sure I tried disabling my firewall too.  idk, may try that again.

btw... I promise I will tip seuntjie but it will be a few months until I get back on my feet.  I tipped two other guys that helped me but I'm a fool with my money I guess so I have to wait for it to build up again.  seuntjie's bot is way more awesome... just wish I could get my JD issue figured out.

It's very odd that you can't connect to JD. Have you tried the latest build of the bot (build 12)? I recently updated the API the bot uses to connect to JD to make it a bit more stable, so maybe that works. And yes, the bot communicates on a fundamentally different way with the sites in v3 from v2, but it still uses https, it won't get blocked by your firewall as long as you can browse the internet. Unfortunately there is no debug you can run at this time.

The only issue I can think of is that it for some odd reason tries to connect to doge-dice instead of JD, but you would need to have changed some of the code for that to happen. If you haven't yet, try build 12 and see if that works better. I'm sorry you're having these issues.
Alpha version (build 12) of Seuntjies Dicebot is available at seuntjie.com/dicebot/dicebot-v3-alpha-b12.zip

This bot has many advanced strategies. Anyway I would like to see a bot who can change the client seed.

   This one can.

This one can change the server seed. I've been planning on allowing it to set the client seed as well, Just haven't gotten around to it
