Did you update the wallet too?
I followed his instructions and I think I'm back on track.
Current Block is 53450?

Well you think you're back on track until it randomly updates and everything becomes orphaned.

As said, there's a guy in the 55kish blocks on the OP's node. Once you'll get connected to him you'll lose everything you mined.
1362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NUT] NutCoin - The Anti Scarcity Stabilized Currency on: January 03, 2014, 05:47:37 AM
Everything's is OK.

No it's not. I'm "officially" (used your node and deleted peers.dat) at block 55k.

Quote
$ ./nutcoind getmininginfo
{
    "blocks" : 55460,
    "currentblocksize" : 1678,
    "currentblocktx" : 3,

    "hashespersec" : 0,
    "networkhashps" : 2400338,
    "pooledtx" : 20,
    "testnet" : false
}

Look, I'm not even mining anything. Yet the network hash is 2.4Mh/s and it's increasing. Someone is mining on his own fork??

interested too
1364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NUT] NutCoin - The Anti Scarcity Stabilized Currency on: January 03, 2014, 05:38:25 AM
1) close nutcoind and/or the wallet

2) be sure it is not remaining in activity monitor (force close it if needed)

3) edit nutcoin.conf, and be sure there is ONLY this node (new version protocol 70003) :

addnode=192.99.4.55:9508

4) remove peers.dat

5) git pull an recompile the daemon with the last version (get the new version protocol 70003)

http://www.nutcoins.com/

6) restart nutcoind or wallet

This will shutdown and burst every peers connected with the old version 70002, forcing them to download the new version.

You forgot the step where you need to delete your block data.
1365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NUT] NutCoin - The Anti Scarcity Stabilized Currency on: January 03, 2014, 05:37:00 AM
Not exactly dead. We just need to restart everything. Or dmx gives us his conf.. and we delete everything but our wallet.dat

No way you gave away 68M. Unless you're willing to give me 64M now Wink

3rd party = 10M for your rapidballs invesment.. alright.

8M in bounty.. (32M, no f** way)

About 330M left for you, mrlotto. Now, either you post what you're doing with this coin or we're all screwed up for your bad marketing direction. You choose.
1367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NUT] NutCoin - The Anti Scarcity Stabilized Currency on: January 03, 2014, 05:26:00 AM
yeah... i just lost my blocks as well ... wtf is going on
thats normal for a new coin with such a low difficulty. lots of orphans. just keep calm and keep mining. make sure you have the right version of the wallet.

When you're mining on an outdated version of the chain and you find blocks, they will appear as immature, and then boom, chain updates and everything becomes orphaned. Happened like twice to me in less than 5 minutes now

NOW!

That's can't be right. 744Kh/s network hash rate? Nahh... I have 2mh/s nethash and I'm at block 55k now. See this:

I'm @ block 54828 now. This doesn't make much sense anymore. It jumped like 500 blocks, made everything I mined orphaned and now network hash is dropping. Yet I'm using the node that was given for protocol 70003 and deleted my peer.dat...

Edit: Now block 54841.. and I bet it will jump to 55k soon in less than a second
1369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NUT] NutCoin - The Anti Scarcity Stabilized Currency on: January 03, 2014, 05:16:37 AM
What the ****. Block count jumped from 54237 to 55k. All my blocks are now orphaned. Great.
1370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NUT] NutCoin - The Anti Scarcity Stabilized Currency on: January 03, 2014, 05:12:26 AM
Block 54307 here, how do I revert back to 52k'ish?

i also updated the OP with this list of expences we spent from the premine. Over half has been given back to the community

PAYMENTS MADE TO DATE:
Giveaways 68,000,000
payments to 3rd partys (includes dev support and marketing) 110,000,000
Bounties 32,000,000
Development team 50,000,000 x 3 = 150,000,000
-----------------------------------------------------
total used: 360,000,000
total left: 8,000,000 (for bounties on games)

Dev support and marketing? So basically 260M for the devs, right?

We want the news for tomorrow! Now is the time

Nope nope I'm at block 54k, protocol 70003 with your node and nothing else. What should I do?
Yet there are still people mining blocks because my block count is getting updated while I mine nothing..

What the hell..

But seriously the node given by dmx doesn't work at all. Can't I just use my big list?
1377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NUT] NutCoin - The Anti Scarcity Stabilized Currency on: January 03, 2014, 04:43:46 AM
The block count is around 54k

The real, precise block count. Please, write it down
