ROFL, this coin is pretty much a copy/paste from bitconnect, even the roadmap use the exact same styling.

FWIW, ... wait for it ... EthConnect IS NOT fully a Ponzi ...

... akin to Jeffrey Dahmer improving upon the cannibalism model where thighs, biceps, and internal organs were prepared to tasted like filet mignon. In case you missed the "applies to reality" part, THIS!

Guess who I just met. Hint: He didn't stink.
1364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi? Why did he hide his identity? on: October 24, 2017, 06:56:41 PM
I think shatoshi hide his identity for his sefty.because he is the owner of this electric technology and I think he has lot of coins.

Is this for real? Is it just me or are nearly all the responses here just shit posters on signature campaigns or profile padding?

He did not have any reason to fear for his safety. He left when bitcoin was 24 cents. A fast food hamburger cost 20-30 more than a Bitcoin when he went silent here.  Bitcoin only had value of any kind for 4 months prior to his departure.
Adam Back, Hal Finney, Wei Dai, and Nick Szabo were not pseudonyms. Did they fear for their safety? No.
Why would he hide his identity if it wasn't for his safety?  Because he was employed by a tech giant that would be able to make the project proprietary through intellectual property claims.
This is also why you are wrong by claiming he is not the owner.  He has made it so nobody owns it. Not Google. Not Coinbase. Not Gavin. Not Greg Maxwell. And especially not Satoshi.

So what about Google? Do you think they would have kept the blockchain private or open sourced it?
https://opensource.google.com/docs/iarc/
I am fairly confident they would have kept this thing closed source and proprietary.
Which is why I believe Mike Hearn is the most likely candidate to be Satoshi Nakamoto.

+1 excepting your last sentence. I lean heavily toward James Simons of Renaissance being behind SN.

https://math.berkeley.edu/~berlek/pubs/bloomberg.pdf

James could've easily put together an A-team of cypherpunks to create Bitcoin with perhaps Nick Szabo being the public-facing voice of SN.

Good news. I'm at CoinAgenda in Vegas and noticed one of the panels:

Quote
Panel: Legal, Regulatory and the Future of Security Tokens, Trevor
Koverko, David Silver, Silver Law Group; others TBA, moderated
by Leo Iruke, Lion Empire Global Partners.

You'll laugh when you see it. No, it's not SLG I'm referring to. Think: Marshall Long. Speaking of Stinky, I wonder if his fat ass is gonna be here. I should be runnin' into Brock Piece soon.

Why is Uncle Stu on the board of directors for a 911 memorial video documentary project?  Maybe a little irony?  http://www.projectrebirth.org/

Because he's related to a guy who's related to a guy who sucked off a guy who's a higher-up (no pun intended, if you get my plain drift) at CF.

Start a new thread, Dude, and link it here.

Seems that LBC is scam... or, in other words, if you run LBC on your computer, your computer is running and working for this/these guy/s, and you will see no addresses with bitcoins:

LBC is NOT a scam because they went outta their way in dissing me who went outta my way in exposing them as a scam. That outta the way, now get outta their way while they ... FUCK ME! I forgot what I was gonna say. Well, whatever it was, I assure you it was epic.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

People are earning on dashboards and all, but are you able to convert an interest payment directly to BTC?

You earn lending interest, you can convert these to BCC and then BCC to BTC.

Then BTC to $$$.

Then $$$ to Crack.

Then $$$ to Regal or back to BCC, predicated on the quality and quantity of Crack usage.

1373  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinmarketcap advertising Ponzi site on: October 23, 2017, 06:21:25 PM
Is this really a big deal for you on what websites are advertising. I mean I would maybe understand if a website would have a long term ad running or something that would suggest that they are supporting it or at least very aware of it, but for some short term ads that the stuff might not be able to track, I don't see a big problem. After all, The Pirate Bay has some pretty bad ads, but no one really cares.

Good point! Question: When will we start seeing ads for child porn? Or how about sales of illegal guns? Or maybe contract killing sites? By your reasoning, all mentioned are fair game. Besides, a wise man once said, "no one really cares."
1374  Other / Off-topic / Re: Flat Earth on: October 23, 2017, 03:18:28 PM
I think Colombus ansered that question some centuries ago, you can travel too all AROUND the earth and see for yourself...also there are instruments that show as the Earth is a shpere , sooo even if we forget about the millions of satelites orbiting the Earth ( in order to...orbit you need a sphere) there are ancient instruments to prove it.

Speakin' of ancient instruments ...

I think she was a middle-distance runner...
(The translation wasn't clear).
Could be a budding stately hero.
International competition in a year.
She was a good enough reason for a party...
(Well, you couldn't keep up on a hard track mile)
While she ran a perfect circle.
And she wore a perfect smile
In Budapest... hot night in Budapest.

We had to cozzy up in the old gymnasium...
Dusting off the mandolins and checking on the gear.
She was helping out at the back-stage...
Stopping hearts and chilling beer.
Yes, and her legs went on for ever.
Like staring up at infinity

Through a wisp of cotton panty
Along a skin of satin sea.
Hot night in Budapest.
1375  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinmarketcap advertising Ponzi site on: October 23, 2017, 02:57:08 PM
Today I saw Coinmarketcap to advert a ponzi scheme site, promising 12% daily interest : https://laser.online/

Does such stuff make you loose faith and trust in sites who are advertising it?

https://i.imgur.com/JWykhnC.png

Very likely coinmarketcap use banners taken from a third party platform, like an ad marketplace. Thus they don't even know which ads are displayed on their own website. This is vvery common among webmasters since such platforms are intermediaries which connect ad offer and of demand.

Coinmrket i think is just a regular site and May be it was paid by that company to advertise or promote its own site. Seeing it is acquiring many views, its good opportunity to advertise site links. Because I have seen many sites in coinmarket cap and annoying as they be, that is how a site is earning.

As someone who has a few years in the media as a journalist, I have come to realize that most media houses survive and are able to take care if running costs through patronage (money from advertisers who could be moneybags or unscrupulous politicians) I know and understand that. But there's always some reputable media houses that stay away from that. That is what CMC should be doing. It should stay away and not let go of its reputation because of some cash in the offing. It shouldn't be allowing fraudulent schemes advertise on its site. Doing that will make it lose face.

Boy, are you guys in for a shocker. Brace yourselves, for I'm about to drop a bombshell thanks to my in-depth research that took mega hours to conduct all on my own dime (as always, no tips solicited) ...

Scroll to the very bottom of CMC's page to find the following on the far left side:

Ignore the banner ad which was generated via Google Adsense, in my case, thanks to visiting the site and NOT via a search, alluding to that Google Chrome tracks more than you think.

Notice the "Advertise" link which I boxed in red. Following the the link, you arrive here ...

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSesk19wQostGxR3VTSXcsyvzIAK9bcsITyKLjsAR-bJjYB33Q/viewform

So that you busy guys don't have to, I filled out the form requesting info, using the minimal amount for a banner ad. I'll keep you abreast (the left one, for I favor the right breast).

Bruno

PS: Speaking of tracking, while checking my email I noticed a reply from Godaddy requesting to complete my order for some domains I researched (availability/pricing) while ... wait for it ... not being logged into their site. I wonder how the fuck they're able to pull that shit off.
