1361  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stop the panic, I doubt we will see 14k or less Bitcoin on: November 27, 2022, 10:46:56 AM
Too many people are working towards making the lower prices happen, between the sellers, the panic filled people, the SBF type of bad news makers, and all the twitter FUD spreaders, and the short futures buyers, they are all trying to make the lower prices possible.

As I said before, the moment it was possible to make money with shorting, the moment people realized lower price of bitcoin could still mean profit, the healthy growth of bitcoin was damaged. It still goes up in the long run, but on the short term there are a lot of people who try to take advantage of the promising future and keep crashing it and take money out of people who want to see bitcoin grow.
The only thing that happens when there is a huge drop selling is the whales and these long-term investors take advantage of it. Sometimes we can also think that the drop and FUDs are somewhat articulated and created for one reason and that is to make these doubtful and weak investors become panic and lead to selling low prices. It is just to imagine that the market works in this way and manipulation can't be stopped knowing that some people will use this as a medium to earn more.
1362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 27, 2022, 09:41:45 AM
We missed seeing Lebron on the field. After failing to play a few games, he performed well as if he had never been injured. Anthony Davis also played well and they were able to win this match.
The Lakers continue to play better every day. Westbrook also managed to be included in the team with his assists and had an impact on the victory Cheesy

Not just them because Schroeder, Walker and Reaves also played an important role to the team's success lately. Even in the recent days where Lebron wasn't playing before of that injury, these stated names were the ones who helped Anthony Davis deliver a win so that Davis's efforts will not be in vain and yes, that includes Westbrook too. Quite a good improvement from them, let's hope that they will start defeating some heavy teams again before we can say that they are indeed in a better situation now.
1363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: November 27, 2022, 09:10:46 AM
I will agree with these odds and bet for Tank.

Compared to Garcia, his combos and movement seem way more composed and technical, and being a southpaw doesn't hurt his changes. While Garcia seem to rely on his natural unpolished talent, and just raw aggressive fast style, using surprisingly quick and powerful attacks even as a defence. Even though those look clumsy compared to Tank, he seem to get ton of power under them somehow.

My guess is that Garcia's style of defence won't work agaisnt technically skilled combos by Tank. Garcia's aggressive style is intimidating but very much defeatable and while his height and reach seem to do add to that and give him confidence, it's all appearances and something that can be taken away fast.

What a great way of describing both boxers, you surely have aced the pie mate!

What you said was correct, Ryan Garcia is just relying on his raw predictable skills, he is just using his speed to create an opening to give deadly punches that will surprise his foes but this will be different because Tank Davis is not yet on his dictionary. He haven't yet fought another boxer who got more skillset and talent than him, that is why Ryan got almost no advantage other than his size which certainly means that his chances against Tank Davis is not that pretty.

We all know that Davis is a quick boxer, and has very good footwork and reflexes.  But never estimate Ryan Garcia because he too has his own set of quickness.  And we don't know which one is quicker.  Besides, it is possible that each camp is studying the weakness of their opponent so we might be in for a big surprise if we see a different Garcia in the fight.  From interviews and videos, Garcia seem pretty comfortable saying that he can beat Davis in two round, it is probably to intimidate or irritate Davis but it looks like Ryan is very serious about it. So it is really interesting to see if Ryan can deliver what he stated.

Of course Garcia should look confident and fearless while doing some interviews and videos regarding his future fight with Tank Davis, he may be really confident this time but saying that he can defeat Davis in mere 2 rounds? That's quite an overstatement from him, he sure needs to prove that first.

As I was saying above, Ryan Garcia surely got the skillset and quickness that he can boast but he haven't got any fights yet that are near Tank Davis caliber. I know he got some talent too but what he is trying to say now is quite unbelievable. He needs to be careful enough because he might end like what Davis did to Rolly Romero.
1364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: November 27, 2022, 08:39:47 AM
Looking at the poll, there is a user here who voted for Ryo Akaho? Who are you and why did you choose him? Nah, just joking! Grin

I'm just glad to see that there's someone here who is in favor to the Japanese boxer and not John Riel Casimero, surprising enough but it is a good thing though because this means that there is indeed a competition here. Though I'm just not sure if he can really make some difference here because I'm seeing this Ryo as a local boxer which is kinda different to Casimero's league who is fighting in the mainstream.

1366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: November 25, 2022, 06:12:39 PM
Naoya is going to fight Butler as 118 lbs to unify the belt, yes that is good for us boxing fans. But what we really wanted to see is Naoya jumping to 122 lbs, a new division for him and together with Casimero shake it up a bit and make the division very competitive with those two going up. So it's a win-win for us boxing fans for next year and this division will be watch by experts and casual fans.

No offense to John Riel Casimero but it's too early to include his name on tough fighters in the Super Bantamweight. Naoya Inoue is ranked no. 5 by the WBO right now in the Super Bantamweight. Akaho is ranked no. 8. That's already a big reason not to mention Casimero for now in the discussion. And likely, if Inoue will move up in that division, he probably ends up being in the top 5 without a sweat with only a few fights before being considered for a title match.

Anyways, super bantamweight rankings are varied for each boxing organization and I'm just giving an example that even though Naoya Inoue is still not moving up, he was already given a ranked no. 5 by the WBO in the super bantamweight. The distance is too far between him and Casimero.

But I hoped Casimero will soon catch up so that their supposed fight against Inoue will be possibly materialized.

I won't be surprised either that Naoya Inoue will be in the Top 5 once he formally announce his move towards the Super-bantamweight division, he seriously don't need to climb the ranks from the bottom to the top because it will be a no brainer as he will surely defeat them little less unscathed. With his power, he is already compared to the champions of the super bantam and people already had their own speculations about it. But let's be patient for now because it will take some time first before Bob Arum cuts Inoue loose to fight the top dogs.
1367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Artur Beterbiev vs Anthony Yarde on: November 25, 2022, 05:49:03 PM
I seldom see something like this

Beterbiev by KO/TKO   - 13 (100%)
Beterbiev by decision   - 0 (0%)
Yarde by KO   - 0 (0%)
Yarde by decision   - 0 (0%)
Draw   - 0 (0%)

but with this specific fight, this is 100% possible, a guy with a 100% knockout percentage against a guy who got knocked out from an aging warrior and with a jab to deliver it, Yarde talks about how things change and he is not the same Yarde that fought Kovalev, but what's the difference, he will still get busted.
s

Or simply that the boxing fans knows that Beterviev will continue with his reign of terror, perfect record with all of them by KO/TKO. So most likely this will be the case against his fight with Anthony Yarde. Although as we have said, Yarde just won his tune up fight, but he still has a lot to look forward on how he will beat a guy like Arthur Beterviev.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8B9s9z4OFE

Just watch his highlights, his jabs and then follow up with a huge knock out punch.

Watching Artur Beterbiev's highlights again reminds me how terror this man can be when it comes to tormenting the boxers in the light-heavyweight division. His punches are sure so sticky that it will always find its way to pierce through his opponents defense and leaves them helpless for the follow-up punch. And not just that, he seems to like a toe-to-toe punches and exchanging heavy blows until one of them gets down. Anthony Yarde should be prepared at all cost in this fight if he wanted to survive.

That means that oddsmakers think there is 64% chance of Davis winning while giving Garcia a 36% chance.
I will agree with these odds and bet for Tank.

Update, Utah Jazz from number 1 in the West is now ranked at number 4. I think they should start winning games.
They just have one to two more loss than those teams that are 1-3 ranking. But look at their winning stat, they've got more games and got one more win than them.

It is that this ranking thing is based on how many lose a team does but in comparison with the other teams, Jazz got the most games which is in total of 20 games.

While the ranks 1-3 have an average of 17-18 games.

It is just a slight difference and nothing to worry about. People just loved to see the rankings as the basis of power without even going to the small details to see the correct details and that they got more wins. They may be ranked 4th in the West now but that doesn't mean that they are much weaker than the teams above those said rank, moreover, that's already too much to expect from newly formed team who are expected to be tanking this season.
1370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: November 24, 2022, 06:31:48 PM

^ Naoya to 8 div champ. Hard to achieve as the weight gets heavier while he will encounter taller fighters who are used to thier weight division.

Hard to achieve but not really impossible to do and as for Inoue's situation, he is still 29 years young so that gives him plenty of time to become more successful and take some steps that will cement his legacy or that will make him unforgettable in the world of boxing. We don't know what lies ahead, Inoue might fell short in taking Pacquiao's footstep, but he might be the first boxer to be a 2x undisputed title in two separate division in the history.

I think I am one of the unluckiest gambler/bettor out here, today is one of my worst days again and I think I should quit betting.

you are not the most unlucky gambler, most people are losing at gambling, if everyone was winning then the casinos would have gone bankrupt and closed their doors a long time ago, you really don't wonder why the casinos are still operating? the answer is quite simple: they continue to operate because they are making a profit and that profit comes from the loss that many people are having, the game is not a guaranteed profit. it's always been like this.

Certainly! The casino always got the advantage and it's never been a fair fight with them. When you're playing and winning, it's not the casino's money that you are taking, it's from the other bettors who lost the match and who did bet the opposite bet you took. And even if everybody is winning, the casino is still getting profits from every bet because that's how casinos work. That is why there's a lot of people who wanted to open their casinos because of the almost never-ending profits, the downside of it is if that casino doesn't have plenty clients who are playing on their platform or casino.
1372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terence Crawford vs David Avanesyan December 10 on: November 24, 2022, 04:28:20 PM
Anyway, Spence vs Thurman fight is not yet final. They haven't speak of anything after the order of WBC but I know this will push through because Spence won't just let Keith have his way without even fighting for it. Lastly, the fight has been rumored to happen on December 17 of this year.

Yes, I know that this fight is ain't final yet and I expect that this will happen somewhere in the 1st quarter next year. But next month? That's totally not possible. The fight have just been ordered recently and both camps are not yet done with the terms if they already began discussing it that is why I don't think that it will happen next month. That is too rush and this is not an ordinary fight, this is a title fight.

Yes, not going to happen this December, most likely it will be early quarter next year. Although both of them have been notified of the potential fight so for sure they might be doing some light trainings just to get the blood going specially for Thurman.

For this fight Crawford is still way the odds favorite, and should be focus and not take away and be distracted by the fight between him and Spence not happening because both sides failed to come up on an agreement.

Definitely not this year, apart from the boxer's preparations and trainings. Promoters do need some time too to plan the fight carefully on where they will hold the fight and the correct date where there's no conflicts like important holidays or other fights that will divide the crowd. For a title fight, it's best if they can finalize the fight and give the final details 2 months prior the fight so that the audience can prepare for it as well so that the fight will be packed.

Agreed, no movement huge movements on their odds as well. It is expected already that Crawford will defeat Avanesyan easily and will just look this as a mere tune-up to prepare him from the future fights that may happen next year.
1373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 24, 2022, 03:03:01 PM

The best season for Clarkson so far, in that game, he took over in the 4th quarter to give the Jazz a comfortable lead, it looks like he already is the main man of the team, the previous 6th man of the year will likely become an all star this season. Their chemistry is really impressive, you can tell by looking at the scores distribution, I mean everyone is contributing on the floor.

I guess the lack of a superstar is working great for the Jazz. Since there is no superstar that hogs the ball, they all get touches and a chance to contribute to a win. That is great basketball. In this scenario, the coach should get a credit as well since he brings out the best on his team even when they are on a rebuilding process.

The management must be very happy with the Jazz now, I'm sure they didn't expect a rebuilding team to be at the number 1 spot now. They are for real, they loss some games but they also come back strong. number 1 in the West and 2nd overall, that's a great achievement so far.

Team play is very important and the Jazz are showing that every game, no superstar, they'll create their own, but no one did the ball hogging like Mitchell did in the past.

That is for sure, seriously they did not expect that they will be handling this kind of scenario this season because the current roster turns out to be great apart from what they really expected. I know that they don't have much hopes when the season started but now it's different because the Jazz is now bullying heavy teams in the league. Well anyway, there's no harm if they will suddenly fall mid season or won't be consistent when games gets much tougher soon because they are still learning as they are still on the process.

Perhaps this is what they really needed after all, not a superstar laden team that they had the previous year, but can't bring any output in the end. So now they are very happy with the way it turn out to be on their part. They are winning games, and many analyst says that they are going to tank for this year, but look at where they are right now. And they didn't have to chance anything at this point, JC is great and so is Markkanen.

And it's also good to see the Mitchell and thriving and so is Rudy Gobert, and so you can't ask for a better outcome that than.

We only have 4 games, and I'm interested to see Lakers vs Phoenix Suns.

And that is the reason why the rebuilt the team because the roster they got last season didn't worked out well, lucky for them that they are already getting the expected outcome in just a short amount of time because they are supposed to build their trust first by bonding throughout the whole season before they can start to expect some good outcome. It's just nice to see an unselfish team with no superstar but can bully a team consists of superstars.
1374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: November 23, 2022, 05:11:20 PM
For the record though, Davis doesn't have the regular belts, all the belts in with Haney. So whatever belt that will be put in line, it's nothing. This fight is probably for the money, these 2 are superstars in this division, the cash cow, not Haney, not Loma. And that is why fans are already hype as early when they hear the news that finally this fight is going to happen next year.

No, I'd like to correct you with that. Davis's WBA belt is different from Haney's WBA belt, it's two different titles.

WBA have 2 Champions:
1x for Davis for the Regular belt
1x for Haney for the Super World championship belt

Which explains why Haney's belt is the WBA Super World Light while Davis got the WBA World Light.
Davis fought that belt with Gamboa when it was vacated last 2019.
1375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: November 23, 2022, 03:12:53 PM
I'm sure adjusting to 122 from 118 won't be a big problem and he can adjust easily to it. Not unless he will have the same health status as Casimero that struggles to catch the 118lbs at the target date although not unlikely to happen for Inoue.
Because it is the hardest thing in boxing, the adjustment of weight either above or below your usual weight and still maintain a good body condition is not that easy though. Many struggles on that phase just to make a fight.

Except if Inoue given his age now, he might be a natural super bantamweight already because that is the most case when boxers grew much older, their weight is also keeping up with them. And there are also some few talented boxers and fighters that are flexible enough to control their weights so that they won't have any difficulties in moving up and down within the specific three weight classes.

I think I am one of the unluckiest gambler/bettor out here, today is one of my worst days again and I think I should quit betting.

I went all in on Argentina thinking their match against Saudi Arabia would be an easy win for them, and the fact that the odds were so far away against Saudi Arabia winning while it was in huge favor of Argentina caused me to be so sure that Argentina was going to win the match, and then, I went all in, hoping to make some big wins just like yesterday, but now, everything is gone, in just a twinkle of an eye...
Argentina is a big disappointment, It's still hard to believe, I quit betting until I am able to forget this experience entirely.

Sorry if you had to experience it, actually, not just you. It's very normal for us to lose a bet and there's nothing out of ordinary about that, there are really some days that luck is not on our side even if the game is almost stating that it will be guaranteed win in our favor if we bet on that specific team but an unexpected result will happen that will give us disappointments especially like the one you stated, you did an all-in bet for Argentina because it's too clear that it will be an easy journey for them, but the opposite happened. Also, next time, just don't push your luck too much just because you were lucky the day before.

What's the update about the winner declaration of this match? I mean if this fight will have a winner or just show-off fights with no winners what matters is to give a wonderful and good show for those who will spend money on this fight.

Manny Pacquiao is not seemed to do regular training because if so, there should be some news.

Likely, both will just act on the ring but that was just fine as it was expected already.

Mate, this is just an exhibition fight. Nobody will be hailed victorious at the end of the fight, and I reckon that there would be no judges too to score the fight because again, what is the point? There's nobody who will need it. In fact, both of them will be the winner because they will be getting millions from the people who will be willing to pay big just to see them dancing the ring as well as the PPV buys.

I think everyone want to trade because they want financial Independent. Some people trade because they want crypto to be most valuable thing in future. Some people trade to make money and savings. In life not everyone will be rich.
Their mindset is focused on earning more money and I haven't found it wrong but they become desperate and wanted to become rich instantly which is definitely wrong as they forget about the risk which leads to emotional stress which causes losses in the end. I see that many people don't understand the risk in trading and I see how newbies easily lose their money.
They want to trade and earn money but they are afraid to lose and learn from their mistakes. They'll never go further.
