ou're comparing apples and oranges. Civil and criminal cases are handled differently. Michael Jackson was a sick, twisted pervert who's mind was destroyed by his ruthless, money grubbing father - criminal case. Donald Trump was the executive in charge of businesses that brutalized other businesses and his companies employees - civil case. In criminal cases the individual is held ultimately responsible because they performed the action in question but they can sometimes get out of incarceration with a civil settlement. In purely civil business cases the company is held responsible and on rare occasions the executive is punished but the punishment is seldom incarceration, it's usually monetary. In both civil and criminal cases protracted appeals and continued litigation can "wear down" the opponent and cost them more money fighting than they stand to gain from the continued battle.

Welcome to the worst failure of the American legal system - the system itself.

In other words, it was actually a wise business approach, right?

I mean destroying the businesses of his competitors. Somehow, I'm not surprised, and this only further confirms my inclination to think that Donald is a ruthless shark of capitalism unlike socialist Obama. What do you think would be better for America overall? Regarding criminal vs civil cases, aren't tax evasion should be considered a civil case too? But more than enough famous people from Al Capone to Wesley Snipes got behind the bars for tax evasion

Half knowledge is always dangerous.I would argue over the topic but it will derail the cause this thread was made for.In short,I hate trump and he wouldn't do any good for bitcoin or the humanity

If you refer to MJ, then let's leave him alone (let him rest in peace). If you mean Trump, then knowing him better might well help understand his possible actions toward Bitcoin in the future. What this topic is basically about

I've met many Americans and must say they usually appear as honest hardworking people with decent values. I've met dozens of politicians and even worked for one as a college intern. Politicians are ruthless, self serving monsters that will do anything to ensure their own survival.

What would be better for America? Trump would be horrible for the American people because they are a minor annoyance in his path to personal success. Trump is perfect for American politics because he is no worse than all of the other scumbags on capital hill and will fit right in.

You're getting closer but not quite there. Tax evasion is always a criminal case. Tax evasion by an individual is the criminal act of breaking the law by an individual and usually results in jail time. Tax evasion by a company is a criminal act and can lead to the imprisionment of the company executive responsible but may be settled with fines and penalties.

Quote
Three crimes could be charged to a citizen or business evading taxes. Tax evasion is a broad category that includes any cheating on taxes owed to the government. This is a felony and carries up to a five-year prison sentence and/or fines up to $250,000 ($500,000 for corporations). Filing a false return occurs when a taxpayer has passed false or misleading information on the tax return as fact. This is also a felony and can carry a punishment of up to a three-year prison sentence and/or up to $250,000 in fines ($500,000 for corporations). Not filing a return at all is the least serious of the three, carrying a maximum of one year in prison and/or fines totaling up to $100,000 ($200,000 for corporations). In any case, you will be required to pay any and all taxes owed as well as all legal fees.

What do you like best about bitcoin?
Decentralization, transparency or easier to move?
Or just it makes you look cool? Wink

My favorite thing OP is that you and other Chinamen completely control it. I'm used to that because your countries cheap knock off products are completely controlling my country's economy.

Trump supports the American worker:

An investigation by USA Today has found that more than 3,500 lawsuits have been filed against Donald Trump and his business entities over the past 30 years. According to the paper, hundreds of former employees and contractors have accused Trump and his businesses of failing to pay them for their work. Victims have included a dishwasher in Florida, a glass company in New Jersey, a carpet company, a plumber, 48 waiters, dozens of bartenders at his resorts and clubs, and even several law firms that once represented him in these labor lawsuits. According to U.S. Department of Labor data, Trump’s companies have also been cited for 24 violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act since 2005 for failing to pay overtime or minimum wage

I have just one question, why is he not in jail already?

Other than that, it strongly reminds me the tragic history of Michael Jackson who was accused in child sexual abuse many times by those who were just wanting his money, not justice (provided there was any case for it). Obviously, Trump is not Jackson, and he can't be bullied in this way. When someone becomes a celebrity (or a president of the US), there are always a lot of women claiming that they had a baby with that person or that they were raped by him and similar things. I don't say that Donald is an angel, and some of these stories might in fact be true after all, but why everyone and his grandma started talking about them only now?

For all of you Trump supporters:

Quote
David Sater was a top executive at the Bayrock Group — Donald Trump’s most frequent partner on condo and hotel deals — and the son of a reputed Russian mobster. In 2000 he was named as a co-conspirator in a $40 million fraud case that resulted in 19 guilty pleas and the conviction of six mobsters from the Russian mafia and the Gambino crime family.

Tevfik Arif, another Bayrock Group executive who serves as a partner in Trump Soho, was dramatically arrested aboard the world’s largest for-charter luxury yacht and charged with “encouraging” and “facilitating” prostitution. Some of the girls were only 16 years old.

Raoul Goldberg, who brought Trump the site for the 45-story Trump Tower Philadelphia, was sentenced to 46 months in prison in 2000 for trying to ship tens of thousands of ecstasy pills into the U.S.

“Highlights” of Donald Trump’s long history of sexism include his gross ogling of the contestants at the Miss USA pageant, and the time that he sent New York Times writer Gail Collins a copy of her column with “The Face of a Dog!” written over it.

In 1973, Trump Management Corporation (of which Trump was president at the time) was sued by the Justice Department for discriminating against blacks who wanted to rent apartments in Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island. The case was settled out of court two years later – and Trump now claims to have a great relationship with “the blacks.”

Trump supports the American worker:

In The Apprentice Trump casts himself as a high-powered executive, in the same way a teenage boy might cast himself as James Bond infiltrating a Cheerleader Dorm. Total fantasy. Trump has been replaced in more businesses than toner cartridges, and has cost the business world more money in the process. He's had 19 failed businesses in 17 years and many of Trump's floundering companies were given debt relief on the specific grounds that Trump no longer be in charge of them. In 1991 the Taj Mahal hotel casino escaped bankruptcy when he gave up 50 percent of his ownership. In 1992 the Trump Plaza Hotel filed Chapter 11 and was forgiven some of its debt when Trump gave up 49 percent of his stock and was demoted to an unpaid "chief executive," forbidden from being involved in the day to day running of the company. That's the corporate version of being told to go do "free reading" in the corner while the class gets on with math.

In 2004 Trump Hotels and Casinos filed for bankruptcy, forcing Trump to step down as CEO and cut his share of stock from 56 percent (in charge) to 27 percent (hell no). Losing money in a casino when you own it is financial failure the likes of which hasn't been seen in Atlantic City in years, and they're in the financial failure business. Trump Entertainment Chapter 11-ed in 2009, forcing Trump to leave the board of executives. GoTrump.com entirely folded in 2006. If Trump went on a cocaine binge in a cloning factory there still wouldn't be so many Trumps losing money so quickly. He has publicly admitted "I do play with the bankruptcy laws--they're very good for me."

which god let me ask? allah, jehovah, Odin, Buddha, Jupiter?

The real God. None of the religions perfectly describes Him. Christianity is the closest regarding the things that are important.

Cool

Wrong Hinduism is the true religion. Unlike your religion of hate and fear, Hinduism prescribes the eternal duties, such as honesty, refraining from injuring living beings (ahimsa), patience, forbearance, self-restraint, and compassion, among others. Varnashrama Dharma teaches an ideal system of a democratic, multicultural, global society with the values of equality and equal opportunities for all, the right to education, liberty, the dignity of the individual and participation in governance without fear.

Christianity crushes intelligence because it is a miserable system of fearmongering where your god rules through power, pain of death and eternal torture. Mine is a system of self education and awakening that enlightens the intellect, grows the spirit and celebrates sexuality, freedom and liberation from evil through self improvement.

...
Further from the site:
This is an incredible chart.  The New Testament has 5,600 copies…In Greek.  The “in Greek” is significant because the original text was written in Greek (common language of the day).  If we add copies from various languages such as Latin the total number of copies would go as high as 24,000.  That is 24,000 copies of the original documents, the original writings of the Apostles.  No other document in antiquity can claim such a volume.  Other famous writers of antiquity fail this test. This is not to say that the copies of these other documents are inadequate or that the copies are wrong.  It is simply to say that you have much less quantity with which to verify its contents and, therefore, much less confidence in those copies.

Consider Plato.  Plato is well known for his writing “The Republic”.  There are only 7 copies of the original.  How confident can one be that the translation we read of “The Republic” is the one that Plato wrote?  Confidence level has to be low because you only have 7 copies to compare against one another.  However, historically speaking, “The Republic” has been accepted as an accurate recording of Plato’s words.

...

Haha, really? Now this is complete BS BADdecker. I only need 1 copy of the original to provide more than adequate proof when the contents thereof is verified against the ONE and ONLY original, which does not exist at all.

I saw that. You said, "Haha, really?!" So, you are joking around. After all, when the copies are almost exactly the same over hundreds or thousands of years, and when they are hand copied hundreds or thousands of times while remaining almost the same, why do you need the original? You would believe the original less than any of the copies, anyway. How do I know? Because you brush off the miracle even though you know that it is miraculous.

In addition, nobody knows that the originals of the books that make up the Bible do not exist.

Cool

Just admit it GODecker, my religion is older than yours, it was first, it has more written manuscripts before yours and people believed in it before your garden of eden was created. I win.

Hinduism is the true religion. Mine is a system of self education and awakening that enlightens the intellect, grows the spirit and celebrates sexuality, freedom and liberation from evil through self improvement. The Rigveda (Sanskrit: ऋग्वेद ṛgveda, from ṛc "praise, shine" and veda "knowledge") is an ancient Indian collection of Vedic Sanskrit hymns. It is one of the four canonical sacred texts (śruti) of Hinduism known as the Vedas. The text is a collection of 1,028 hymns and 10,600 verses, organized into ten books (Mandalas). Originally composed between 1700-1500BC it remains the oldest written scripture available. Thousands of copies were written down hundreds of years before the advent of Christianity.

Here's the way western Christians see Jesus or Iesous.

https://sdanotes.files.wordpress.com/2013/12/jesus-pic.jpg

Considering where he was born, this is what he really looked like.

http://www.shunya.net/Pictures/Syria/palmyra/BedouinMan.jpg

Check the Bible for the description of O.T. King David. He was ruddy in appearance, probably a redhead or blonde.

Jesus was a physical descendant of David's. We don't know that today's M.E. people are exemplary of people 2,000 years ago.

Cool

Typical Christian, change reality to suit your prejudices and preferences.
1370  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why do so many people hate Coinbase? on: January 27, 2017, 05:41:38 PM
Coinbase is only for murricans and murricans have stopped using Bitcoin as much as they did when it was new and trendy, edgy, cool. Face it, Bitcoin became popular because young murricans were using Silk Road to have the USPS ship drugs to them. With Silk Road gone and the replacements being LEO traps or scammers the murricans have less use for Bitcoin. It's ok though because we still have the Chinese day traders keeping Bitcoin moving up. Coinbase should be failing without enough murricans that want bitcoin.

Let me just clear 'god' is different from God. God is the real one who is the creator of the universe. And god'/s are the ones who are created to be worshiped by pagans and even the people today.

I think you're taking this a bit too literally. The term God and god are coined by people like you and me. It doesn't make sense to differentiate the two. The term God didn't even exist until a couple of decades back and so I don't think capitalization of the first letter would have bearing at all oh my

I found this old photo of Jesus and his Apostles. Maybe we should ask them how to spell it properly.

I found this photo of Mary holding her son Jesus with Mary's mother in the background.

He's a cute little boy, isn't he? Poor Mary though, still so young, and being forced into this 'being mother of the savior of the Jews stuff' is just completely unfair and wrong. Wasn't she supposed to also have had an uninterrupted life of a little girl like all the other girls?

In those ancient times the people spoke Greek so "Jesus" is a complete misnomer. His name would have been prononced "Iesous" or "Jeshua" in Hebrew, but definitely nothing at all like "Jesus".

Isn't it funny that Christians want to keep telling the story of the preteen girl that had her vagina ripped apart by the lord.

Here's the way western Christians see Jesus or Iesous.

Considering where he was born, this is what he really looked like.

Just to clear up what "homeschooling" means.

Parents without enough money, time or care about their kids education tell the school board they will teach their children at home. The parents rarely have enough of an education themselves to form coherent sentences and usually far less than required to teach. Almost zero/none/no homeschooling parents have a teaching degree.

Almost zero/none/no Christian homeschooling parents teach alternate theories that contradict their beliefs. They refuse to teach evolution or even the basics of other world religions. They much prefer to raise racist, sexist, bigoted freaks that go out into the world and do horrible things. Child sexual assault, torture, sociopathological programming, murder are taught in homeschooling.

For more info read Homeschooling Invisible Children http://hsinvisiblechildren.org

Wow someone really loves state power and state control. I have the resources that have enabled me to purchase a home in a very good school distinct so I utilize the public school system. It is a good value in my area.

However, if I was stuck in an area with a very poor school system (and they exist) there is no way in a million years I would send my kids into an environment that is highly likely to damage them. I would work harder and have my wife stay home and home-school. Its not an ideal solution as is implies the lack of an adequate community to pool resources but sometimes it is the best option for parents.

Your comments that homeschooling is a mechanism for "raising racist, sexist, bigoted freaks that go out into the world and do horrible things. Child sexual assault, torture, sociopathological programming, murder..." Tells me that you are completely out of touch with society and the decisions and trade-offs that parents seeking to raise healthy and well adjusted children must make.

Why don't you look at the site I linked and read the stories. It's more common than you think. Homeschooling should be illegal. The "trade-offs" of home schooling children are, raising children than can have well balanced social relationships with people not directly related to them or sequestering children and stifling their social development. There are very few places in the U.S. where public school education isn't available and in some of those places parents have the ability to send their children away for the school year.

And the funniest thing of all............      "The Joint" is a theist.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

You continually say there is rebuttal. But you never show any of it. By not showing any of it, you rebut yourself.

Cool

Just use the search facility using "The Joint" as the search subject user. You'll soon figure it out.

The Joint and I never discussed it that much.    Cool

1) Yes I know. He found it very little effort to shoot it down so very quickly, which you never recovered from.
2) All the easier for you to find it. (Not that you want to find it of course.)

I don't know why he stopped posting. But he stopped. Can't have a discussion when someone stops discussing.

Cool
You said all that you had to say back then. Why would he waste time debunking it again anyway? Once is enough. Once is all we need. Case closed.
As you can see, I am still here talking about it.    Cool

There's lots of flat earth people still talking as well.

As they say; talk is cheap.

The reason why your talk is cheap is, you can't rebut the proof and evidence that God exists. All you can do is say that God doesn't exist, or that you have rebutted, when you really haven't.

Come on! Express the rebuttal itself if you have one. Rebut the info here:

I think you need to be re-butted by your priest, again and again.

Entropy increasing, complexity collapsing?  You plant a seed, add water, energy from the Sun and in 30 years you have a fucking 50' tree.  so much for your 'devolving' argument.
We have evolved from simpler life forms.  Look at morphology and histology in a historical context.  The evidence is overwhelming.  Never mind genetic studies.

The idiots who say "well, bubba, we did not change since the time of Jesus so evolution is not possible?"  WTF.  You are fucking carrying 4-10% of Neanderthal genes.
We share 98% of DNA with chimps.

Education is the key.  Unfortunately, most Christian a-holes are 'homeschooled', whatever that means.

I was surprised by the result of the voting. Huh I supposed mainly smart people using Bitcoin
I also can not understand why such a result! For me it's a shock! I believed that nowadays people are more educated. I think that the consequence of this fooling people is not just faith in God but also the phenomenon of Trump

This vote only shows what people in this forum think. And this forum is very liberal... meaning that there is a greater concentration of atheist types than there is in general society. So, think what it must be like out there in society.

What has happened to the atheist types is this. First, they didn't want God for one reason or another. Then someone in science came along and explained to them how "stuff" might have come into being without God. They liked this explanation so much that they stopped there, and wouldn't look further. They never saw how God was proven to exist so firmly that all the explanations to the opposite were essentially destroyed.

Then I came along in this forum and showed the proof that God exists:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=737322.msg10718395#msg10718395

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1054513.msg16803380#msg16803380.

The atheist types barely looked at the proof when they did. And if a few studied it, they threw it out, not because they found it to be wrong, but because it messed with their atheism RELIGION.

It's kind of amazing to me that people would rather walk around believing the science fiction that God doesn't exist, over factual science that proves He DOES exist.

Cool

No they don't.  Entropy of the universe might be increasing, but here on Earth it is actually decreasing.
Earth is not an isolated system.  We get the energy input from the Sun, you little twit.

The rest of your 'proof'  is just nonsense.

Don't bother arguing with Christians. I think most of them use Christianity to keep from being prosecuted for their perverted views and lifestyle. They use the church and the Bible to instill fear so they can be molesters and freaks.
