1381  Economy / Goods / Re: Interest in Blockchain USBs? on: December 02, 2015, 04:05:46 AM
Seeing as the Blockchain has almost doubled in size over the last year, would anyone be interested in buying a blockchain usb?
Went from roughly 26GB in january to 48GB as of now.

The cost would be something like $23 shipped to anywhere in the world.
SO wait I am trying to understand what you are selling, it is flashdrives with just the block data correct? Would have to be 64gb minimum flashdrive, why is the cost so high though?
Flash Drives with block data would be correct.

Probably would have to explain costs. Just because worldwide shipping is roughly $10 in my experience for a small coin (in a padded envelope). I bet I could quote something cheaper to the US. Also $13 for the flash drive because that's what I picked a couple up for.

US shipping would be like $15-16 or something.

Edit: Possibly a plain envelope would work for US shipping, making is roughly 13.50.

I know this isn't an original idea (forgot the user that had this idea before), but just trying to help some people out.

@Butterzone.
Thanks, Probably should have started with that.

Or do a spinning BTC symbol might be fun

This time i'll go with;

+7.7 = VirosaGITS

I am pretty sure the Diff will go under what its estimated at right now, but i don't know by how much, seeing how well the BTC price is doing.

Sorry but this is NOT grafitti, just some sprayed paint over a stencil  Tongue and way overpriced

This is grafitti:

Fair enough, Each to their own.
No offense but each one is the same. Just different colors. Just do free hand and give it some liveliness and you might be able to sell

How about 1 PH group rent?

yes, i organice at the moment on group hash buy in the german section...
if you wont, contact me per pm or user the topic --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1253410.0

Sorry guys, but unless Phil is organizing the group buy you'll have very few people interested. Your trust rate is just too low (or negative), which means your likelihood of walking off with everyone's coins is extremely high. I'm surprised you haven't been postlocked by now for advertising every page for the last two pages.
Honestly I wouldn't mind volunteering, but I too know that I would have to build a larger reputation.
Only people that have been here 1-2 years minimum and have a large network of trust can do so effectively. i.e. Philip (Only one that does so for now), OgNasty, blazed, and a couple others can really do this.

And it surprises me too he hasn't been postlocked since he keeps trying to get to the german forum, and I bet many people didn't take a german class...

OP how about webdesign? I will prefer some colors on the website pool  Roll Eyes
Go away.

Sorry,it's only one question  Roll Eyes

This has been addressed many times before. It is because the pool itself doesn't bring in much in funds, as well as just being a fast low latency node that doesn't have extra clutter.

What about group rent?? I will use Nicehash / Miningrigrentals or Betarigs. ( nicehash is cheaper )
If we hit a block, reward will be send to all renters. I will take 0.15% fee + payout from block ( i will rent some hash too ).

We can use escrow.

If you are interested please reply below and i will create thread for it. Smiley

This is already being done by Philip. I see no reason to try and work with an escrow if someone already can do this cheaper without escrow fees.

I know multi-input/ output costs more from escrow.

So what happened exactly? Looks like the difficulty is back to normal and might be +5 or so.

Why turn on all that gear and shut it off?
To not have such a large change in difficulty. Mine hardcore, grab bitcoins at low difficulty. Turn off miners so that the difficulty doesn't go too high.

Rinse and repeat

i am ready to go for saturday and sunday as i am having leave on both this days so for me both days are ok, please inform when is the next tournament . as i missed the last tournament.

It is on Sunday!  Sign up now Smiley

I would be very interested in this tournament, if only it weren't so early in my timezone.

May I pitch the idea of multiple time zones? Like an Americas tourny and European/Asia tourny.

Maybe with a tourny that covers both, I don't know how well the time zones would work for that...

You can talk with Betcoin about organizing one for your time zone.  I chose this time because it accommodates USA in the afternoon and Europe in the early evening.  I am in the USA so hosting a tournament outside of these times is not easily done for me.

If we can do it 1 or 2 hour earlier would be just great for my timezone as the game will be around 2-3 hours so I wanted it to end quicker to have my dinner on time

Shhh I was not being stupid and focusing on the time offset. It works perfectly Cheesy

Wild that it looks like he has been active recently...

He also is building a website that should be up in about 4 months. His account is exactly 2 years old. Just minor recon on his profile.

But he can't get around to sending a coin...
