That's pretty neat, thanks for sharing the link! I'm definitely going to bookmark it and check at a future date. To add to the thread - if there was a time to spend 1 BTC, yesterday may have been it.

Buy it now 100 BTC. - Once bitcoin goes mainstream and so does crypto coin collecting, I expect this coin to fetch hundreds of thousands.
Your asking price is already "hundreds of thousands" so I'm not sure how much more it can appreciate.

I picked up a smaller piece just to compare. I am not sure the difference with the crushed version. Very nice Pistachio, I was thinking about doing that as well. If you don't mind sharing, where did you happen to pick it up?

So as you can see below, only less than 3.48% of unique address holds BTC>1BTC

It's a neat idea but I believe a decent amount of time will have to pass until we know if it's effective or not.

Trezor is definitely the best and I'm not sure if there are any truly comparable alternatives for what you're looking to do if security is a priority.

sourzombie has shipped out the two pens in question and they should be arriving sometime this weekend hopefully. I'll post pictures here when I receive them. Bookmarking this for future reference.
I wanted to mention, feel free to add your own WTB items here if you'd like. I didn't see many other threads like this so I wouldn't be against other people chiming in with what writing instruments they are looking for also.

Offers accepted while the price is at an all time high. 0.05? or please just give me an offer Unfortunately that is more of a lowball than an offer. How much ? please offer You do realize that the asking price is 0.65 BTC and that you've just offered 0.05 BTC? Such an offer is absurd. I meant 0.5.... but anyways, i might have another seller for less No disrepect - love the design on this coin - it definately looks like a 1000 dollar coin, Good luck If your offer is truly 0.5 BTC and the prior post that you had time to read again/correct is inaccurate I would provide a counter offer. I'll send it over via PM and if it doesn't work for you, no problem.

Agreed, I don't think anything JUSTDLISK will offer would be satisfactory if they're currently offering ~ the spot value of the silver. If 5oz of silver is your goal, there are sites like JMBullion that will accept bitcoin. JUSTDLISK, please be more respectful when making offers.

Can you show a picture of what the damaged hologram looks like for the Crypto Imperator DOGE coins? I'm interested to see that. Yes, there are two elements to the damage. On one of the coins there is what looks like a substantial melt mark, at the top of the hologram and I think it occurred when the hologram was applied. On both damaged Crypto Imperator coins, it looks like the area holding the private key has been depressed and one side of the rim has slightly cut through. Here is one of the coins, not sure whether it gives a good enough view: http://imgur.com/a/x5Olphttp://imgur.com/a/ybdQFInteresting and thanks for sharing, those are more damaged than I would have thought. I don't think I've ever seen holograms in that bad of shape from the manufacturer.

Do our prior reservations of the silver coin hold up or will we have to re-request?

That's an epic set, looking forward to the photos but I feel like double face value may be hard to achieve.

It should be BUYERS CHOICE for escrow, we're the ones forking out all the funds. It should be who the BUYER is comfortable with. But, I understand some people are "control freaks". I retract my bid. TYVM
Absolutely not. For a buyer to demand THE escrow is absurd. If that were the case, then any scammer would simply select themselves as escrow. Might as well simply demand the seller ship first prior to any payment or demand they accept an IOU, bad check, stolen credit card, hacked bank account, or hijacked paypal. The seller is the one to select the escrow and/or gives various escrow options and let the buyer select from that. Agreed that both should be comfortable with the choice should escrow even be needed. Well stated Michail, the buyer and seller should agree on the escrow and not a single party.

Payment has been sent, glad I could help out and get such a nice coin in return!

For an auction like this I would think waiting until the last hour to bid would be accurate since the fiat value of Bitcoin can fluctuate throughout the time of the auction.

Are all the custom distribution notes sold out?
I would say so, yes. Interesting, these went quickly then to the best of my knowledge and I don't think I've seen a picture of all three in one place.
