Obvious rebound from that dump is obvious...

I'll be incredibly impressed if the guy that won MicGoosens guess the ATH contest wins the second contest! Even if he doesn't, damn does he have a solid chance at it, the way things are going right now.
Kudos to you BikerLeszlo (sorry if I spelled that wrong)
We'll need to anoint him as King of Bitcoin

It does seem that BCH efforts are being redirected in what i can only assume is anticipation of seg2x but they kinda shot themselves in the foot and now have to keep two fronts open. They're spreading thin and can't go in either direction without pissing off their support base. It's ironic that they undermined themselves with a BCH, as without it it'd be much easier for them to rally troops behind 2x
Divide and conquer, except they managed to divide themselves.

Who'da eva thunk that a coin that raced to one third of Bitcoin's price would have gone down like this? /s
It was about as obvious that those prices wouldn't be maintained as it was with ZCash's.

Rotation yes, broad market sell-off no. Combined marketcap is higher today than any day since mid-September.

There is a lot of downward pressure right now.. or at least a holding pattern.. but at the same time, the bearwhales cannot get the price to go down. Maybe we could go down to $4200 before resuming our upwards, perhaps?
Bearwhales probably playing on fears of a head and shoulders pattern emerging. Bull case is still intact from my perspective though.

The heavy-handed response of the Spanish government only served to increase support for Catalan independence. The world saw images of bloodied elderly women and ballot boxes being seized. Do Spanish politicians have no political nous whatsoever? It's like they selected the dumbest response possible. All they need to do now is bombard Barcelona and laud themselves internationally.

I suffered through the dessert march of 2015.
Ah yes. Round here we called it 'the plum pudding plod'. Never forget. lol, I have sweet memories of that time.

That shouldn't matter. People waiting for a response regarding a deposit not showing up, cash out requests being stuck for weeks, verifications not being looked into, etc, everything points at Poloniex simply not giving a damn anymore about their customers. It might be because the owners have full pockets due to the massive previous volumes they were generating, or they are facing serious legal issues in the background that people here aren't aware of. Poloniex has always been a top exchange, but they for whatever reason got messed up big time - this definitely isn't an exchange I would people advice to join.
Yeah, I think it's got to be a clusterfuck behind the scenes. Either legal issues as you mention, or they're trying to conceal losses from hacks.
|
|
|
Have I received my funds? Yes, And I go in detail in post number 6 about Poloniex's "magic secret" to getting help. At least it has always, finally, worked for me.
They haven't responded to me in well over a month, and I fulfill all criteria. My issue isn't deposit based, however.

The procedure for proving private key ownership involves a simple standard task. Someone sends you a message, you sign it with your private key, return the signed message to the sender who is then able to verify your private key signature with your corresponding public key.
Craig Wright has avoided this self-evident, simple procedure at every request.
Ha hah! What else can prove better this guy really is a scam artist?
Good job on the necro, dude...

This looks bad. Some of their users are thinking that they might have been hacked and theyre not telling the community about it. But I still think their problems are mainly technical. Just give them time to fix their site.
Yeah. For now I am sticking to Bittrex too.
Their problems were meant to be logistical, not technical - they were meant to have hired more support staff and redeployed trollbox mods - so why is it that, approaching four months later, support is as bad as ever? Do yourself a favour and don't touch these jokers.
|
|
|
AVOID, no answer to support tickets for 30+ days, next cryptsy!
Could well be. They should've had enough time by now to resolve legitimate under-staffing issues. Also, when users can't get verified after multiple months, it does rather raise into question their solvency.

in 2 weeks u can only move 55% out anyways the 45% peeps give up are TOKENS that most likely be lucky to see .30 cents on the dollar when and if btce comes back on 15th, then it could be 6-8 months before u could cash them in. Not to mention US customer never got a answer wether they would be allowed on the new site. So for many getting 55% now or 55% in 2 weeks with 45% in tokens u can touch in 6-8 months its better just take the 55% now
Yep, this. Plus I wouldn't fancy giving ID to a site that was just taken down by the god-damn FBI.
