That may be true, but notice how these types of bonkers positions never happen on legit exchanges like Coinbase Pro or Gemini. It's always on the fucking shady Chinese exchanges, where there is no transparency and nobody can really verify anything. The order books could be completed faked or trumped up.
Something smells fishy. Creating such an illiquid position, and opening yourself up to $500M of counter-party risk is loco.

Aliens would understand bitcoin. Because that's how their money works.

Wait, if aliens have Bitcoin, which is the true chain?

Funny thing about profit? It can only be garnered by providing something the masses want at a price for which they are willing to pay.
Truth is, the cold indifference of profit-seeking enterprise is the mechanism by which the lowliest among us live better longer lives in more comfort than the aristocracy of merely a century ago.
In general, but it is certainly not a universal mechanism. The victims of the Bhopal disaster hardly lived or are living better, longer lives. Nor were the lives of many Africans in the hinterland of the Slave Coast particularly benefitted.

It's a gut-wrenching poem. I find it unbelievable it was written by the same hand that wrote this: To get free eth in this forum, can with giveaway or by joining bounty ico paid in the form of token and then sold for exchange with eth, if difficulties with that way, can by way of direct trade, provided that you have to have capital to buy eth via market exchanger in eth wallet account. But if you want to coin the cheap price, you can buy altcoin ico when pre sale takes place because at that moment dev project will give bonus and you will get big profite, if coin price increase when released to market exchanger, but this is too risky if coin which are either priced down or not available in the market exchangers. So it is up to choose which one.

There is a reason every nerd on the internet knows it. It's because it's a good show.

Is that what that stogie-chompin', helmet-wearin' bird was? I mistook it for a simple ostrich.
No, that was a Tommy from the emu wars.

Bottom confirmed. Now we'll just have to wait and see if it's the bottom.

Before difficulty adjusts, time passes. If fast enough drop in hashing occurs, instead of adjusting, tx would have difficulty being mined (for a significant time period). By the time you could use your laptop again the value would be in the single $, presumably.
We've already had two halvenings, a hardfork with bcash and 80-90% drops in price and this "heat death" scenario has never materialised.

I’ve been trapped here for years as some sort of bizarre figment of Jimbo’s imagination. I don’t believe there’s a way out.
Ah well, at least we won't have to embarrass ourselves on light cycles.

Ah ha!!!!!!!! Yefi admitting that he is a bot, and that is why we have not yet seen a jello wrestling match between him and infofront. Disappointing. I thought it was unusual how I exist in system memory. Wonder if there's a way out for me?

edit: well, I stumbled over my first problem. login requires a captcha test where the bot has to prove it's not a bot, haha most likely it's possible to login in manually the first time and copy the cookie, I have to try that. If you want to post, you'll need to store the session check too. It's the the 128-bit number after "sesc=" in the url. There's a hidden field in forms named sc which also needs to be set to this number.

What is the virtue of genius if you lack the resolve to feed your brain with all available data? Actually, the exclusion of data is vital to the formation of intelligence. The savant Kim Peek, who was portrayed by Dustin Hoffman in Rain Man, showed us what happens when the mind is unfiltered: you end up reading telephone directories.

Please, shelby has more IQ then the population of the city where you live - together.
If you dont see the value in his posts i cant really help.
This is a good case of how those with lower IQs are unable to differentiate their peers with higher scores. Hence why every tenth person is "a genius" according to the general public.
