141  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as a newbie - advice? on: July 21, 2023, 02:14:39 AM
Before buying a trading book, look at those links that have been given to you. There are free resources that you can read and search for them first before deciding to buy.
Aside from those reading materials, check on exchanges that have a demo account. From there, you will have the idea on how it looks like to trade and how much risk you're willing to take.
I don't know why most people, especially newbies, ignore this but demo accounts are a great way to practice your knowledge to have an idea about how you are doing after learning the things, if you have learned a new trading strategies, simply go ahead and use the demo account to test it out to see it if works or not, you can also see if you start trading with whatever knowledge you have gained so far to see if you will get profitable or not.

Newbies generally just invest their real money after learning a little bit about trading and that is how they incur losses, if they don't use real accounts with real money but practice with demo accounts first and learn everything properly, they won't have to face any losses when they start trading with real money.
a demo account is very useful for beginners to test their knowledge of trading, by looking for that strategy in a demo account they won't be surprised when doing a real account, but it should also be known that there are other challenges to real accounts, namely psychology, sometimes a good strategy may not necessarily work on a real account considering the psychological pressure that breaks our strategy. therefore do not rush to invest funds in real investment before having sufficient knowledge and mental readiness. because after all we bear the risk
142  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading tips that helpfull for beginners on: July 21, 2023, 01:52:13 AM
DEMO account - is good for beginners and I encourage newbies to do this and acquire ideas, knowledge, and skills that we can apply in actual trade, However, we can't expect that it gonna be the same experience in doing actual trade because this will include mix emotions that certainly affect our decision making in when to buy and when to sell. Therefore, if we are already good at using a demo account, we can't say that we are also good in the actual trading scenario as everything will change, yet we can still apply the learnings we have.
Demo account I think only last for a week, so you can't expect to learn everything from that DEMO account.
Before making an account with any exchanges, make sure you do have background knowledge already about trading especially its fundamentals.
Trading is not easy to learn but the good thing right now is that, there's a lot of resources available online, you can just easily search it and do your best to learn it.

There are demo apps available so they can use that to practice their trade and I also see that Demo account is also helpful since it can lessen the financial damage cost by any unwanted trades. Although trading is really hard to learn but if you are consistent on what you are doing then for sure you can learn this once you experience all ups and downs in the market. Also newbie should be resourceful to search for more ideas or tutorials that can help them since there are so many available online and they should search it if they want to be a good trader.
demo accounts are very helpful for beginners to learn about the rigors of the world of trading, but keep in mind that many people find trading easy on a demo account, but later it will not be so easy on a real account either. usually a sense of arrogance will appear while following a demo account, and will find real difficulties when trading on a real account. That's because trading includes psychological pressure as well that must be overcome to carry out the strategy that will be applied
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beginners, you don't need Bitcoin first on: July 20, 2023, 04:36:41 AM
knowledge is the most important capital in investing in bitcoin, for beginners, don't rush to invest before understanding it, because that will shape our attitude in investing, and make provisions for facing problems. even though they already have cold money capital, they still don't have knowledge, I think I can hold off on investing, because many people have failed due to their ignorance in dealing with bitcoin. don't worry about missing the price, because there will always be opportunities at the right time. therefore don't get bored to learn
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't expect everyone to embrace Bitcoin on: July 20, 2023, 04:17:02 AM
The earlier we understand that bitcoin is not for everyone, the better because it saves us the time and energy that we would have used to convince those who are uninterested, to move on to those who are interested and it can also drive adoption faster. I've read some threads here of some people trying to convince their family members on the positives of Bitcoin and get enraged if the said members don't share the same opinion as them but I feel everyone is entitled to his opinion and while some regard Bitcoin with outright disgust like Charlie Munger, there are some who care less of it's existence.

Bitcoiners have the opportunity to stand for something and that's eliminating the need for central authorities such as the government and banks and rather than forcing everyone to confirm to their beliefs, it's better to find an audience worth serving. What's your take, guys?

We cannot force anyone to embrace bitcoin. Investing in bitcoin is a free will, and a lot of people still do not know how to use or invest with it. It is hard to convince people who are uninterested. It is important to respect individuals opinions as some may sees Bitcoin in a negative way while others may not care about its existence. Rather than trying to force beliefs onto others, Bitcoiners can focus on their own investment and trust their own process.

I think if someone asks our task is to tell the truth about the advantages and disadvantages of bitcoin, so that we consider the risks and rewards when joining bitcoin. because many of them feel cheated because what is conveyed is only the benefits when investing in bitcoin. we realize that everyone has their own thinking power, therefore let them determine their way of life, because not all successful people have to live a life like us. I'm sure of the many people who ask, there must be some who are interested in bitcoin based on their own conscience
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can I save my brother by investing in btc now? on: July 20, 2023, 04:06:03 AM
I think it's a double risk, because the money you have you actually want to grow from $3k to $75k for your sibling's medical expenses. I don't think it's a wise move, you want money quickly, while the nature of bitcoin no one knows when it will experience a pump, on the other hand with the money you have it is very risky to lose, considering that one day it is needed as soon as possible, and the market is experiencing decline, your investment may fail, because it is not cold money that you are using, especially now that you are not well thinking about your problem, you need to calm down first before moving on, I hope you can find a way out soon
146  Economy / Economics / Re: Population: Economic strength or weakness on: July 19, 2023, 02:09:43 PM
Developed countries import labor from outside the country for what they think is cheap, but for migrants who find it difficult to get a job in their country, this is a blessing. when a country with a large population suppresses the birth rate, I think there are still many ways to get workers, of course if there are labor difficulties then they will increase wages, and I think this will not be a problem, because not all countries will become developed countries, and of course the development of robotic machines will reduce the need for human labor

148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My story about bitcoin and my old friend. on: July 13, 2023, 05:15:15 AM
...

Do you have the same story, I mean a close person, relative or friend who used to dislike bitcoin, and they became regretful after seeing a significant change after meeting again.
I think that stories like that are incredibly common, because even if bitcoin has gotten a lot of popularity during the last years, if we go back to 2017 or before we will see that there was a lot of awareness, but most of those that found out about bitcoin though the mainstream media were against bitcoin as what they heard about it was extremely negative, and the 2018 crypto winter did not help either, however your friend has nothing to feel remorseful about, as even if he invested in bitcoin I doubt he had what was necessary to keep holding their coins.
2017 was indeed the year that showed that bitcoin experienced its first significant pump, thus making many people invest, even though it was the peak and 2018 experienced a saturation period, so many regretted losing their possessions, but 2021 was proven again with a higher increase. from the previous ATH, and from those who sold losses before feeling sorry to return. people like that only want profit without being able to think far ahead, they are shrouded in worry and don't want to take risks. there are some people around me who are like that, but after 2021, they are a little aware to buy when the market is bearish
149  Economy / Economics / Re: How do banks generate income? on: July 12, 2023, 07:12:50 AM
Bank is an establishment known for financial services but what they do these days is way more than that. And the things they do are both legal and illegal, still, they cover up under the guise of the legality that covers the sector.

Mind you, you forgot to add that;

1. They launder money.
2. They broker onshore and offshore deals (both legally and illegally).
3. They steal money from customers' accounts through double and unexplainable charges.
4. They blackmail their customers and steal the money of the faint in heart.
    And many more...

There is a lot that will always make me sceptical of banks.

Quote
3. They steal money from customers' accounts through double and unexplainable charges.

I don't know how many times that has happened to me, and the worst thing is that it is claimed and they turn a blind eye as if it were a platform problem, this happens a lot since it was decided to carry out transactions virtually now they can make their excuses for steal no problem. The truth is that many do not trust the banks, i have had very bad experiences, and less in the loans that they make, since in addition to the fact that the interests, are exuberant and increase every month, they use loans with collateral as a requirement, which in my opinion could bring anyone to ruin, that's why I prefer to take care of myself with them, i only use it for necessary things, because as an option to  save my money never... imagine it going bankrupt (goodbye to my efforts)... I prefer to invest it and save the earnings in virtual wallets I feel more secure with these.
the burdensome interest system seems to bind consumers to continue paying interest, just imagine that at the beginning of the installment the interest expense is greater than the principal, so that it can be said that at the beginning of the installment we only pay interest, and in the calculation the bank seems to take profit up front, therefore we have to be careful when dealing with the details of the installments, otherwise it will seem as if we have been cheated, but the bank can also make a solution with the capital they provide to start a business, but we also have to be observant in the calculations
150  Economy / Economics / Re: Agriculture can save your country from recession on: July 12, 2023, 07:02:07 AM
Are we in the first phase of economic thinking in the world?. Man the humanity has surprase that phase that you are talking about a lot of  years/ centuries ago.

The agricultural phase its the bottom of the piramid, yes its a necesary one ,and it can make you wealthy or non reliable in others food, but for economic grow you need more.

Do you know the industrial revolution was that change? From a most agricultural society/economy to a new industrial in cities and with that a whole new economics.

Not all countries in the world are rich with the agriculture natural facilities. Those countries where the weather favours the agriculture , they already use their agriculture products to export and make good revenue for the country.

In the modern day I guess the investment in bitcoin is one of the good option to save a country from recession. Since there is no inflation in the bitcoin I guess this maybe the best option provided the government has no objection on using it.
but in reality the farmers do not have the prosperity of life, which means they should be the core of a state life. Of course there is a wrong system that must be corrected, so that farmers can prosper like their plants. although bitcoin is protected from inflation, but it is not right for now in taking part, related to regulation from the government. actually with bitcoin it will be easier to carry out transactions on the export or import of agricultural materials
151  Economy / Economics / Re: Things you should know about Money mindset on: July 12, 2023, 06:53:11 AM
Yes, now there are many ways to make money from the internet and we can take advantage of many platforms for that,
I think we are very fortunate that the development of internet technology is in line with the development of our generation,
but it must be admitted that now more and more people can make money from the internet.

Indeed, internet has opened immense opportunities of earning for earning money online, and this digital economy includes e-commerce, freelancing and many more services. In particular youngers have been quick to embrace these new avenues and explore the leverage its potential. However, it is crucial to develop money mindset and acquire necessary skills to tap into abundant opportunities presented by this landscape.
What needs to be considered is that work on the internet does not require an educational certificate, who has the competence, then he will gain a lot of profit. especially for young people who are of a productive age to be able to explore as much as possible about something new, but even though it is easy to get money, many young people are not necessarily able to manage finances well, even though that is also very much needed besides how to get money
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoins important? on: July 11, 2023, 04:27:04 PM
Altcoin important if the altcoin bring something new like litecoin ( faster transactions ), dash ( anonymous ), or ethereum ( smart contract ). If it does not add any new feature or if the feature can be easily added to bitcoin network it means the altcoin is useless.
Beyond this there is difference between a single asset and multiple choice in the market. Just think of bitcoin, it'll continue to move on its path. The existence of altcoins give the bitcoin high competence. There are altcoins that give better profitability against the profit generated out of bitcoin. It is all about the competence and the trust factor that requires the altcoins.

As stated different cryptocurrency have got varied features. Users who have got specific need can choose that one that suits their needs. Different altcoins in the market also kind of choice available for investment.
the more choices of altcoins will have a positive impact on the development of cryptocurrency, where each project will try to present their project developments well, with the various themes they raise, and of course have strategic products to facilitate human movement. However, this seems to be used for projects that are not responsible for the many frauds that occur. on the other hand there will be many speculators who get rich suddenly when they find the right project to invest in, and that in my opinion is the main attraction
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would you measure your success in Crypto currency on: July 11, 2023, 04:16:31 PM
when viewed from the beginning I knew cryptocurrencies, even though there were not many results compared to those who already knew them beforehand, but I am grateful because with cryptocurrencies I can realize my dreams which seemed impossible to come true. of course, a large income from following crypto until I finally survived to this day. my hope is that during a bearish market like this I invest as much as possible according to my ability to finally get results in the next bullish season, and it will continue to circulate like that, as additional income, unfortunately I have not been able to maximize the income from the trading sector to meet my daily needs
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please recommend a reliable Bounty Hunter... on: July 11, 2023, 04:06:33 PM
The important element is who the bounty manager is. I follow the bounty detective team closely and they have a nice community as a mass. In addition, the Brainboss team does good work. But you can get more good information about this from the service section. In addition, managing signature campaigns with generally reputable users will make your project even more successful. In short management by yourself could be better.
I also entrusted detectives with following his campaign, from previous experience many projects under him were successful, because we know there are many scam projects in bounty campaigns. Indeed, now is different from 2017, where many projects provide large prizes, but now current prizes seem to be a priority, and the results can be invested in potential coins, so that in the future we will get large returns from the prize capital. On the other hand, a large community shows that many people believe in it, so the campaign is worth following
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who Buys Bitcoin When The Price is 100k$? on: July 10, 2023, 08:08:27 AM
You mean who bought btc now? Absolutely we are! So we will buy btc after rising price 100k$ so don’t worry. After all 4-5 years before btc price was very low but now btc price rising 40k$ over so we buy now ok. Therefore price rising doesn’t mater for btc because only one trustful coin in this crypto market. Really if btc price will rising 100k$ then many people will king sure.

I guess you got them all wrong. The OP is asking who will be ready to buy Bitcoin if it crosses the $100k pet Bitcoin level, and the answer is quite simple: providing there are people who bought Bitcoin from the price at which it is right now until when it hits the $100k level, there will also be others who will be ready to buy at whatever price they happen to meet it. There will always be a change of ownership, where today's whales might not be the same as the people of the next decade's will refer to whales, so those bagging in preparation of what the price might be in the future will definitely be there to buy more at whatever price they meet it.
the same as before when bitcoin cost $ 1k, did anyone think bitcoin reached $ 10k, up to $ 64k, when the position was $ 1k, who would buy it when the bitcoin price was $ 10k, and so on. So the law of supply and demand is always there, and of course someone who buys $100k, he's going to sell for more than that. maybe he has his own target, if it reaches a saturation point then the price of bitcoin will fall again, and after that in the bullish season it will rise again past the previous ATH, moreover the supply of btc is limited
156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We All Know, The halving time will be full of drama on: July 10, 2023, 07:57:31 AM
I think we can really say something like that as a drama, where it seems that there is a narrative to achieve success. but for me to keep holding even buying back feels better, many panic because they sell it and afterwards are disappointed because bitcoin actually soared. one thing that holds our grip is that bitcoin will reach the previous year or more, so even though it has dropped drastically, it will definitely come back again, even soaring due to greater adoption
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My personal savings now I will invest in Bitcoin on: July 10, 2023, 07:47:56 AM
I think investing in bitcoin is more suitable than you collecting money for 5 years and if you look at it without interest, while inflation continues to increase. but before you invest in bitcoin, I think it is necessary to study it first, after that you can determine the feasibility of investing in bitcoin, don't just be tempted by other people's stories about bitcoin, but we ourselves must understand, before investing
158  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I become a successful Bitcoin investor as a newbies? on: July 09, 2023, 10:09:12 AM
Maybe that depends on the determination that you have, because you need to have a wide knowledge of Bitcoin, you can't just rely on what you think is right, you must be the one who knows it is right because you have a basis rather than an unfounded one, I hope you get it that's my point.

And you must be 100% wholehearted in the decision you make, you must stand by what you think about the positive you have in Bitcoin, hold on to it until you get it first.
indeed to invest in bitcoin the main thing is knowledge and then is confidence in what has been done, so that you have the courage to hold on for the long term, without feeling panic when price fluctuations occur. many fail to invest in bitcoin due to not having sufficient knowledge, and are actually overly confident that their money will double, things like that actually boomerang for themselves because they get panic attacks, which end in panic sells, that's what happens most of the time, besides they buy in the bullish season and hold hoping the market continues to rise Smiley
159  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is risky, be conscious on: July 09, 2023, 09:55:38 AM
Over the time, I've seen people wanting to go into trading because they feel or think is a get rich quick scheme but get so disappointed along the process because the result they get isn't what was expected.
Trading is a very lucrative business but also a very risky business as well and as such should be done with so much caution.
What would be your advice for those wanting to trade as a newbie?
Trading is not money making machine where you getting only profit without risk. I think it's their non sense thinking they will get quick rick in trading,
It's really difficult business when you will start live trading but its also lucrative who are experienced and they know that how to control their money management in trading.
for beginners, it is better to have a personal mentor, maybe it will be faster to understand it, and then you can combine it as you wish, of course, every beginner will start with trial trading, so that in the future they will have their own trading system that is comfortable for them, or imitate other people's trading systems the important thing is that it is comfortable to do, because basically we are trading, namely to get consistent profits and be able to trade in a healthy manner
160  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not limits your investment... on: July 09, 2023, 09:47:45 AM
I saw something on a friend of mine iPhone I was amazed, this guy has 3 pieces of bitcoin but he didn't look it when you look at him with mere eyes, I ask him how he has come this far, he told long ego he was seriously investing on all kinds of coins with little amount of bitcoin but then most of those coins help him to realized enough amount to buy more bitcoin because that was his primary target. He normally buys those zero value coins when they appreciates it will be enough money, and that's how he convert and swag all to bitcoin and today, he has 3 piece. Is good to be diversified in your investment, somedays something good will come out of one you don't expect.
Your friend did well on buying those zero value coins. I personally think it's a big gamble to buy those knowing that most of it are abandoned tokens and has no community left behind that's why it stoop at that price. Maybe your fries is just so good in speculating coins and has a great luck in scoring profit in those kind of coins. I once tried this strategy but guess what, all the coins I bought before was still on my wallet which becomes unsellable because of how long it sat on my wallet and the market never gave me a chance to sell those.
He was lucky guy so that he got profit from dead tokens. Yeah i also tried this technique in 2017 when i seen there are lots of almost dead tokens increasing x10-x20 then i decided to buy some tokens but after 1 year holding i see that most of tokens are delisted from exchanges, it was my biggest lost project.
most of these tokens will turn to ashes, the same thing I did in 2018, I actually made a purchase after a decrease of up to 50%, but what happened was that the price of the token decreased until it had no value and was delisted from the previous exchange, this happened after I held it for a while, until now it is still a collection of tokens on the ethereum network, because most of them used to be based on ethereum
