Can you also update us on that basic income bitnation project? Is that still a thing?

Sorry but will they be using the Horizon's blockchain or just the "horizon-tech" and a new chain called Mayorchain?

Awesome idea, but...how are the Greeks going to know this is going on? Or more specifically, how are they going to know about it in any considerable number?

Is 1.02 miner suitable for 0.3.3.3 wallet?

-I22 seems about right but still goes only to 50MH. I'll try the other thing you recommended.
-C3 (fast refresh), -C50 slower refresh but same speed

Why not start? I think you need all the correct versions - latest Client, latest Siad and siac and the Wolf0's miner. I had the same issue before. @Wolf0 - can you pinpoint where the intensity setting is in the .cl file? I have no clue (it's almost like reading chinese looking at it). Thanks....

I found a block today on an overclocked Asus GTX 970 (4GB memory). Running the newer miner with the -s 0.2 and -c 1 set it is reaching 450 MH/s.
When running this I noticed it only uses 70% GPU. Of course I am not using a "custom coded" miner so for kicks launched the same instance 3 times and the collective hashrate looks higher than if I was running individually 250/244/72 MH for each. 566 MH/s total and GPU use goes to 90% I am not sure if this is more effective or not but will run overnight and see what happens.
HI guy New bat file Set up Sia_GPU-Miner.exe -s 0.2 -c 1 Is that what? Thank you Yes, that is what I am using. Nice work Wolf on the optimization. If it does not work you may be using the wrong exe, the one I have is named gpu-miner.exe I think you may have a different version which does not support those options. Not sure which page of this thread I downloaded it on. If you mean the actual rewrite I did and posted about earlier, thanks. If you mean what I have on GitHub, that's not an optimization, it's how you properly get the list of OpenCL platforms on a system, and the list of GPU devices in a selected platform. Besides that, I added options to give the user direct control over intensity, plus the number of kernel enqueues before stopping to fetch new work and print hashrate. With those options available, it should be simple to mine on all devices on a system, and probably get a little higher hash out of them, simply because you can tune the intensity. That GitHub is here: https://github.com/wolf9466/Sia-GPU-MinerHello wolf0 A compiled version? I tried to compile the VC6.0 without success Don't make me do stuff! Fine, done. Unlike before, where I compiled the Win64 binaries for the Sia team from their git without looking too closely at it, I've looked this over and contributed code - therefore I will sign the binaries. Key ID is in my signature. https://ottrbutt.com/Sia/Sia-GPU-Miner-Wolf-Public-06132015.ziphttps://ottrbutt.com/Sia/Sia-GPU-Miner-Wolf-Public-06132015.zip.sigTwo files are in the archive: the miner executable and a README, which is also on GitHub. Read it. Seriously; I won't answer questions that are already answered there. Seems to be working, finally I should say. 39MH/s is low right? (radeon 7970) But at least it's something So thanks Wolf0

Looks fine after many reopenings. I'll try the mining again. Outta here going away I'll report the situation later.
Edit: I think the crux of the problem is that once you backup the wallet it moves the link to the wallet elsewhere. In my case when I backup the wallet it thinks the wallet is now on the USB, even though there is still a wallet in the AppData\Roaming.

Error report:
Yesterday I imported an old wallet and the balance imported was fine. Then I closed the DigitalNote Wallet 1.01-beta and reopened it and the balance was zero. I said to myself nevermind I'll reimport my old wallet when I need it.
Well next thing I also mined a few XDNs yesterday and after that closed the wallet. Today I opened the wallet again and the balance is zero.
Upon closing it says "DigitalNote is saving data".
Obviously that's not the case so what's going on here?
Can you please provide some addition information. First i must ask if you are importing old .wallet file or old .keys file. There is NO compatibility between old .wallet file and new .wallet file, because old wallet and new wallet = 2 different XDN clients. Like Bitcoin has native QT and lots of other type of clients. . wallet file in case of DigitalNote contains your private key + some additional information, like your outgoing transfers, or messages transfers. Remember. XDN messages can only be decrypted by recipient, in case you as a sender will not save your outgoing messages, you can`t backup it from .keys, only from .wallet. So sender actually can only remember, but if forget, never can backup his message, while recipient can read his message (or incoming transaction) any time he can connect to blockchain, because messages are in blockchain, but encrypted with the state-of-the-art cryptography. But .keys file contain only your private key and is and will always be cross platform and you will be able to import it in any client. You private key is all you need to operate DigitalNote. The way to migrate across different clients is just to import your .keys file and to wait until sync. So i ask you, if you imported your old .keys file or your old .wallet file? Much appreciate any bug reports, remember XDN is open source and is still in Beta, it works good, but lots of thing to be done and any bug or use case report will be very useful. I "File\Open Wallet" myoldwallet, not "File\Import Key" Here's what it did. Even if the old and new wallets are not compatible the new Client read my old wallet just fine. The balance and everything was correct. I had no new wallet, I just had the old wallet from the previous Client. After doing the "Open Wallet" command it was fine until closing the new Client. Anyways, fast forward, I just did "Import private key" and everything is fine even after closing the Client. Edit: WTF. After 3 times closing/opening the client the balance is zero again.

Did you import private keys or just move wallet.dat? I was able to import private keys without any problems. Note to Everyone: Please remember to encrypt new wallet as importing private keys only moves your balance. @ Dev: in wallet mining working great, nice work Coin balance was correct when I "File/Open wallet" then I closed the program and reopened it showed zero. So does this "Open wallet" command not import it properly? Just open it and then it forgets about it? Anyways even if the above procedure isn't correct - where are the mined coins now? Transaction history also shows nothing, as if the importing nor the mining never happened.

My God!I just downloaded new 0.3.3.1 UI wallet and launched it,and...My coins are gone...Is there something to do,or I can forget about them?
They are in the folder where your older wallet is. Run that wallet and your coins will be there.

What does this error mean?
"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)."
Running wallet 0.3.3.1 with GPU miner 1.01 x64 in the same folder.

Nice wallet man. Show private key with a click, anonimity level scale, mining etc. Saves you a hassle or two.

Still getting this: D:\Distrib\Siacoin\sia-gpu-miner-win64>sia_gpu-miner failed to get Device IDs: -1 I also can't run it on Windows 10 x64 Insider Preview. "MSVCR120.dll is missing". I have installed Visual C++, MSVCR120.dll is present in system32. When I put it directly to miner's folder it closes with error 0xc000007b. With the newly provided GPU miner link this is the exact issue I have also now. Windows 8 with Visual C++ installed. Seems to me like you might now have a gpu, either that or your gpu does not support OpenCL. I have AMD Radeon 7970, I believe it's capable of that.

Hey Taek, sorry for that.
A couple of us have an issue with GPU crashing and are interested how to lower the intensity. If that's even the main problem, we don't know. The error we get is:
"Display driver stopped responding and has recovered" tray message few seconds after running sia-gpu-miner.exe (with the edited gpu-miner.cl file)
