141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: December 15, 2017, 02:57:19 PM
What do you guys think it would happen if all the governments in the world declared bitcoin to be illegal?
How do you think the community would react? What could be the possible solutions?
If bitcoin would be banned all around the world, it would be a disappointment for all of us who use bitcoin and some may even will demand for the bitcoin's legality in their country. We just need to let them understand how bitcoin is helpful not only for the people per se but also for the economy of one's country. We may be treated as developed country if we are using bitcoin in our country.
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did you ever convince or encourage someone to invest in Bitcoin? on: December 15, 2017, 02:33:36 PM
I have tried encouraging my classmate when I was only starting in bitcoin. I just shared my initial thoughts about bitcoin and continue to share woth her all I know about it. As I teach her about it, she immediately will check it. Now, we are both using it and earning bitcoins and we have already used it in many ways. Bitcoin has many uses for everyone depending on our status.
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end? on: December 15, 2017, 02:08:35 PM
Bitcoin right now keeps on increasing its value, and many more cryptocurrencies are occurring.
Do you think someday bitcoin will end or will be replace by other cryptocurrencies?

Is it too late to invest?
Is there a chance that bitcoin will be down?
We won't know what will happen in the next few years about bitcoin, but I think, based on the happenings today, it will be more popular to the people and little by little everyone in the world will use it. There's still a possibility that it will end, but it has a low probability. It is never too late to invest in bitcoin. Just don't miss the opportunity when you have bitcoins and you have "now". We never know when it will rise or fall but let's just wait for the events to happen.
144  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why people fear about BITCOIN on: December 15, 2017, 02:01:14 PM
because bitcoin is a new technology that is different from anything we have known so far.
because it is decentralized and nobody controls it.
because the price is volatile and that makes buying it risky.
because it has a lot of enemies including but not limited to banks that attack it by spreading lots of false information that creates panic.
because most people are too lazy to do some research and see what bitcoin really is and prefer to continue using the old familiar things instead.
Some people wanted bitcoin because of its decentralization. By this fact we can see that people are truly have different views. For me, I think people hate bitcoin because they don't know about it that much yet. We can have solutions to these problems by sharing bitcoin to them and how does it work in the industry.
145  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Volatility A Bad Thing? on: December 14, 2017, 02:35:45 PM
Steam dropped bitcoin support citing "high volatility" as a motive.

When amazon stock jumped from $18 to $1,200 over a period of years, was this high volatility a bad thing?

If bitcoin's value increases from $6,000 to $16,000 over a period of months, and HODL'ers benefit, this high volatility is bad?

Where does the idea of high volatility being an unnecessary evil come from?

Are there good arguments or evidence which support the concept of high volatility being a negative circumstance?

In a sense, volatility simply means the price of something moves a lot, its not that bad if the vast majority of motion is in an upward direction?

 Huh Huh Huh
In some instances, it is since volatility in the first place is a negative thing especially into investments. Its volatility makes it hard for Bitcoin to be accepted to most of the countries due to its volatility. But chances are high that when the day come that Bitcoin is legal to most of the countries and with such Volatility might be somewhat controlled.
146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet is the best for Bitcoin Now? on: December 14, 2017, 02:13:58 PM
Hello Everyone,

There are few famous wallets for bitcoin like blockchain and coinbase. But actually, i have been using them for a long time ago. But I want to get another good wallet. So, which one will be better? Please Suggest Me.

Thank You.
At this moment, I am using an e-wallet which is an online app to store my Bitcoin. It is a bit secured , why do i know? because accounts are connected to another account. It is called as coins, from that I am able to convert my Bitcoin into fiat or regular currency especially if it s not yet legal in your country. so that I would still be allowed to use it.
147  Economy / Economics / Re: popularity of bitcoin dictates demand, means more profit on: December 14, 2017, 01:44:49 PM
in my opinion, this is what happening right now as the trend of bitcoin price has been sky rocketing.  what do you think affects the price increase of bitcoin today?
Well, that is obviously huge profit that is a result of the increase on its msrket value. Bitcoin is becoming more expensive as time passes by and it gives huge profit to its investors and users. The demand is also getting higher now that more people are interested to the profit that most of is users are getting and that is the effect of the increase on its value.
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A friend sent me .03 BTC - what to do now? on: December 14, 2017, 11:39:45 AM
So long story short, a friend owed me for a favor and since I did not have bitcoin before he asked If I would take it in BTC. I didn't mind since I can cash out whenever.
My question is.. what do you think? Its a decent chunk of money for me to just hope something keeps rising, do you think I should "let it ride" or cash out and just be happy with ~$500?
If you are already satisfied wjth its current market value, I think it is okay to sell it. But I would suggest to rather hold it than to sell it already. The market price of Bitcoin is continuously growing since more people are now interested to it which makes the demand high. If you will choose holding it, bigger profit will be earned.
149  Economy / Economics / Re: Where do you spend your money from Bitcoin? on: December 14, 2017, 11:10:32 AM
Today's economy is either rising or falling depending on the consumers and sellers. If you join the Bitcoin, there is a high probability that you will gain something from your money because there are a lot of opportunities here. So my question is, "Where do you usually spend your money that you have gained here in Bitcoin?"
I am actually not spending or selling my Bitcoin. I am into holding my Bitcoin for a long period of time. I am aiming for bigger profit in the future since expectations are high that its market value will be more exoensive in the future. So with that, holding at this point would yield to huge profit in the future.
150  Economy / Economics / Re: Selling Bitcoin = Opportunity loss?! on: December 14, 2017, 10:05:32 AM
Many posts discuss the possibility of exchange earnings with selling Bitcoin (and buy later). Other posts discuss the Bitcoin exchange rate, it seems that many agree there is a strong upward tendency and the volatility is hard to predict. It seems dat selling Bitcoin results in a serious probability of an opportunity loss. Selling Bitcoin can only be motivated by an (partial) exit. Do you agree?
It seems that it is indeed an opporuntity loss of earning bigger prkfit in the future. Holding will be a wiser way with regards to Bitcoin. Its market value at this moment is already exoensive but since it is still expected to be MORE  expensive in the future, holding rather than selling would be an advantage to earn more profit from Bitcoin in the future.
151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will people lose intrest? on: December 14, 2017, 09:38:09 AM
Hello!

If bitcoin died do you think people will lose intrest in other cryptos aswell? which altcoin would you invest in if there were no bitcoin?
I doubt that they will and Bitcoin will die. But if Bitcoin will ever die for an unknown reason, probably, the interest of people will not vanish towards cryotocurrency. There are still lot of cryptos to choose from where people will earn huge profit  and that is enough to make them interested into something because of the profit.
152  Economy / Economics / Re: short term investment or long term invesetment on: December 14, 2017, 09:09:51 AM
When it comes to the investment, many newcomers or people with frequent requirement find it difficult to invest for longer amount of time. Here by short investment i mean any investment which is less than year old. That investment has been cashed out within a year. And by long term investment I mean investment which will be kept for more than year ( ideally 10 years or so).
What do you think which is more beneficial short term investment or long term investment
Long term investment I think, is much profitable than short term investment. It is obviosu that if an investment is good for a long run, the profit will be bigger in the future. Especially with Bitcoin which market value is continuously increasing. As an investment, Bitcoin is more benefitial as a long term investment knowing that its price is expected to be more expensive in the future.
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am i late to buy bitcoin now ?? on: December 14, 2017, 08:39:54 AM
Hello there one year ago i bought 3 bitcoins but lost them all in gambling... :'(nd now seeing the bitcoin price makes me cryy...
I have 1500USD right now...i am thinking to buy the bitcoin now whatever i can get with them

Should i buy now or not as bitcoin is reached its all time high and in to the moon...please advice me
Not you are not too late and there's no such thing as late for investing to Bitcoin. Its msrket value at this moment is indeed expensive, so it is not surprising to know that some people are waiting for its value to fall. But as dtated, the continuous increase on its value will yield to huge profit so investing now will be profitable in the future as its price becomes more expensive.
154  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: December 08, 2017, 04:20:38 AM
Living in a digital generation where we are doing something that needed a technology and device, I think we can spend, buy anything with the use of internet and only in a few years paper money would not be used by people. We still have fuat currencies but it can also be accessed through internet connection.
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: December 08, 2017, 03:51:11 AM
There are many differences between real money and bitcoin and one of them is the accessibility if the people. Bitcoin can only be accessed with the use of internet connection, and only those people who know bitcoins can have it. On the other hand, real money can be accessed through both internet and physical aspect, and ot is known by everyone; even the poor. We should invest in bitcoin however because bitcoin's price is surprisingly high.
156  Economy / Economics / Re: What makes Bitcoin to move this fast? on: December 08, 2017, 01:38:50 AM
The people who are using bitcoin is also rapidly increasing, and more companies are using bitcointalk as platform for investing and promoting, which makes the bitcoin's proce go high. If this would continue until next year then it is a good opening for the year in bitcoins. We should encourage more people to use bitcoin and it will be a benefit for all of us.
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should focus more on saving bitcoins than selling your bitcoins on: December 08, 2017, 01:32:25 AM
Bitcoin has become the world most valuable asset and the value keeps going higher!

Why not we should focus on saving more bitcoins than selling our last remaining bitcoins?

I read and hear from a lot of guys owning bitcoin saying, should I sell my bitcoins?

The issues is, if you sell all your bitcoins when are you going to buy at lower price?

There's no guarantee when exactly bitcoin price will surely come down.

Share your thoughts about what you think guys. Smiley
I agree with focusing on saving bitcoins especially nowadays because bitcoin's price continues to increase and by just saving, you are earning more bitcoins. Selling bitcoins is not necessary today because if you don't have bitcoins today, you will miss the bitcoin's price at its peak.
158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: December 08, 2017, 01:18:50 AM
It was really unexpected that bitcoin's price will reach at this point, and it is little scary because we don't know when it will go down. I am very surprised that I get excited to earn more bitcoins and if I earn more bitcoins then I can use it here whenever I want. Let's just enjoy tha prosperity of bitcoin's price today but don't be complacent about it.
159  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price of bitcoin increase forever? on: December 08, 2017, 01:08:57 AM
Since the total number of bitcoin is fixed, so the value of bitcoin will keep grow, and it's price will keep grow also. So will there a price cap for bitcoin?
May sometimes go down but in general prices will continue to rise, the thing that becomes the main strength of bitcoin is decentralization, users continue to increase while stocks are limited so as to keep prices up.
The bitcoin's price is volatile, and bitcoin is decentralized. We all don't know if it has a limit in its value, but it depends on the users because as bitcoin users increase, the price is also increasing. More transactions and processes are to be done here because many companies are also using bitcoin now.
160  Economy / Economics / Re: lest we forget, Bitcoin is a blessing. on: December 07, 2017, 11:22:07 PM
Bitcoin has pass through many stage, limitations, attack and forks issue but its price keep on increasing from inception till now. At this time Last year bitcoin price was $450 but today it is $1245 that was over 180% increment in just a year. This is what we call blessing, that is making progress in the face of strong opposition!!
Bitcoin is a real blessing especially if we are talking about its today price. We never expected this price so high and now it is overwhelming to accept this truth. Because of bitcoin many people are having a little "job" that can sustain daily needs. Bitcoin is really unbelievable because I never thought that we can earn money in this advancement.
