should i use hcn address or sumo address to mine in the donation pool??
You can't use addresses of 'foreign' coins on a mining pool. It should give you a warning when you try with a HCN address on a Sumokoin pool. So you should use a private Sumo address. Please, do not use exchange addresses.

Notification the Graymines pool has until Jan. 14 to disable mining, this because the owner apparently has not been active in the forum since December 26. The pool euminingpool has until the 9th of January to disable the mining, due to the owner had his last activity here in the forum yesterday, January 07 10:12:37 PM (already been sent 2 menssages to the pool owner before this date, no response until this time.) the mentioned pools that do not respect this term will be removed from the official pool list (here in the forum, website). I am doing this because all the other pools have agreed to deactivate the mining to encourage the miners to enter the campaign, it would not be fair if these pools mentioned are still working and with miners adding 21 Khash. Miners who continue to mine HCN, do not be greedy, We are trying to list HumanitaryCoin in an exchange, it is no use to mined HCN if it is never listed in an exchange, and as a consequence it will not be worth anything, stop mining in HCN pool and start mining in pool of campaign, you will be paid in HCN for this. Hello there I am mining to the campaign pool to support HCN. How do we get paid? as there is no way for you to know who I am and what is my hashrate and even what is my HCN wallet address to refund me in HCN? Sorry if I am being confused. Cheers This is DONATION campain so you won't get paid but you'll help HCN to get listed on exchanges. Cheers! Thanks. I was referring to this:"stop mining in HCN pool and start mining in pool of campaign, you will be paid in HCN for this. ". Regards You will be rewarded for mining at the campaign pool. But instead of SUMO you will get HCN. So for instance, normally you would get rewarded in SUMO for the amount of shares you provided to find a SUMO block. This time all the SUMO rewards are used to get listed on exchanges. But if you use your own SUMO address your share is known by the pool owner. If your share at the end of the campaign is 10% of the total amount then you get rewarded 10% in HCN of the total amount of HCN that will be distributed among the miners. Unfortunately, there is still a HCN pool owner that keeps an active HCN Pool. So 25 (greedy) miners are still mining HCN at this pool with 50KH/s. I really don't understand why, because if we don't reach our goal and get listed at an exchange all the mined HCN will be useless. If you imagine that this 50KH/s would be used for the SUMO donation pool then we could get 30 SUMO per day * $7 = $210 per day. However, it looks like the pool admin is not responding to the request of shutting down his pool and the new developer/owner of this thread @epicfailman is not very active in this thread or even in this forum. The last thing that was posted with his account was "Sorry, account was hacked", five days ago. So the mining pool is still mentioned on the OP.

results appearing!!! 1block found, 36 sumo!!!! Hash Rate: 15.15 KH/sec Block Found: about 21 hours ago Total Revenue 36.575089200 SUMO Total Pool Fee: 100% Block Found Every: 3 days (est.) we need more help!!!! https://donation.humanitarycoin.org/Yeah, well... It seems that 35KH/s of hashrate is going to the two remaining active pools. As long as these pools are active the whole idea of shutting down pools is useless. My pool costs me money and for now it's doing nothing but showing a front-end...

As I am thinking about the donation system, I do not see it as possible or efficient. It would be better if we mined the same coin but from a pool that would have more hash power. With another pool with more percentage of hash we could get approx 11.4316 sumo per day
Hi securitypc, theoretically it is the same, but without fee, because 100% is saved in the pool.. It may take us a little longer to receive payments, instead of small amounts every 2 hours a block every day, for example we already have the first blockI really appreciate shutting down your pool as it was the largest. Must have been tough! But it's all for the future of this coin. I am actually impressed that we found a Sumo block already!

Hello friends, I have disabled hcn.pool.cat, I can not do more ... I see, anything i can do now is to invite any miners to CryptoPool http://hcn.cryptopool.pro or any other HCN Pool! Cheers! Are you just being the funny guy or do you really don't know why the pools at hcn.pool.cat and hcn.pandapool.nl have disabled mining?!

Hi, I added last pool (hcn.mine.nu) to pool list ( http://hcnexplorer.pool.cat/pools/) To all pool admins: I will stop hcn pool "during few days" and I will leave a message to try to miners go to the donation pool. It does not make sense to have a mining pool, from 5 months ago, for a currency that does not have an exchange who follow me? possible date January 8 What do you think, can it be an option? Supported Ridd. All the mining pools have to participate, closing all the mining pools of the HCN, the miners will participate in the campaign. I will contact the owners of all the HCN mining pool. I don't have a problem with shutting down my pool ( http://hcn.pandapool.nl) temporarily. There are no miners connected to it, so it's easy. But I think the major hasharate should come from miners of https://hcn.pool.cat. Yes, even if a pool does not have miners, when the larger one is deactivated, the miners can migrate to another pool that is active, so it is important that all pools turn off. Ok, I have disabled the mining ports and put a message on the homepage @ http://hcn.pandapool.nl

@SadBatman, great work with the mobile wallet! I can't wait to try it out, but first i have to wait untill the blockchain is synced. If you want to test the wallet, feel free to send me some Sumos. You know... as a test Haha, only if you send them back with a little extra... as a test of course

if someone wants to mine in the mining pool of the campaign with their own Sumokoin wallet address (for later payment in HCN), contact us by PM.
good morning...the donation pool is not working yet?? I tried mining to it, but i got Socket errors on all ports (3333, 5555, 7777). So it seems there is something wrong with it: [2018-01-02 14:50:55] : SOCKET ERROR - CONNECT error: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. I don't know who the admin of the pool is, but this needs fixing asap!! I have the same, trying to use XMR-Stak. Ridd is the pool owner so hopefully he can sort it out so we can start mining. I think it's a firewall issue. The ports for the frontend and api are open to the public, but the actual mining ports can't be reached. Maybe this was done to avoid mining before the start of the campaign.

is there a howto for donation pool ? should i use SUMO wallet or HCN wallet to mine? what kind of wallet should i use ? from devs or my own ?
You should use your own SUMO wallet address. That way the devs can determine the reward for the miners.

Thanks, nice overview. I still can't figure out why all the pools show a different Network Hash rate. And I really don't understand why my pool at hcn.pandapool.nl is unable to find a block within the last 4 hours with an estimated block time of 30 minutes?!

I have setup a new HumanitaryCoin pool which you can join: pool: http://hcn.pandapool.nlpool fee: 0.5% payments: every 15 minutes There are multiple ports you can use and fixed diff. is also supported. Maybe it could be mentioned on the OP? Offline.. Could you try again? I made a mistake in the firewall. It work now, i will join ur pool. Dutch ? Yes. Nice/mooi I joined ur pool, can the payment streshold be some lower? Just like every 10 minutes (if it are 10 or 10000 coins). I will lower the threshold when more miners join the pool (and the block rewards will get splintered more). With one of two miners the block reward is going to reach the current threshold easily within a few blocks.
