141  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Tornado cash founders charged with money laundering/sanctions violations on: April 03, 2024, 09:30:07 PM
So it's pretty clear that governments don't want to allow crypto mixers anymore. I met Tornado Cash a few days ago. One of my clients sent me funds, and his wallet was related to Tornado Cash. Unfortunately, I received the funds on Binance, and they suspended my account temporarily. Yet it hasn't been solved and is under investigation. After that, this news pops up. So I don't know whether Binance will restore my account. However, it seems pretty risky to use any kind of mixer. Either the government or centralised exchanges will catch up.
It's a sanctioned mixer, which means any funds associated with it will be flagged by pretty much any centralized exchange around. Binance has had its own troubles in the past with the US regulators, so I don't think they would want to go sown the same road again.

Have they asked you anything yet regarding the funds you sent there?
142  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Population on: March 31, 2024, 11:45:00 AM
Overpopulation is a threat to any country.  Because overpopulation is never good for a country.  When the population increases, the country's corruption, anti-politics, terrorism and various problems increase.  And most of the problems remain hidden from the government.  Moreover, when the population of a country increases, it becomes very difficult to provide food, shelter, education, medical care to the people of that country and no one gets equal services.  Moreover, more births result in more malnourished children and premature deaths of mothers.  Everything needs to be within limits, nothing is too good.
Overpopulation is a blessing to most Governments because this helps them to exploit the people more through the illegal taxes. What China and the like of Japan realized is that their populations grow rates have dwindled, mostly due to the earlier policies and high infertility rates. This also means the countries productivity power will drop in an attempt to compete with other superpowers for supremacy. This is the reason China had decided to make a complete U turn on it's earlier policies.

I don't think they care about food, shelter, education, medical care to the people  Cheesy
143  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTCC exchange, discussion, reviews, opinion on: March 31, 2024, 10:47:46 AM
For the past several hours I evaluated whether BTCC could be a viable alternative to mainstream derivative exchanges. The more I looked into it, the more red flags I collected:

BTCC confiscates the entirety of your deposit if it amounts to less that $120:
(the minimum deposit amount for BTC is 0.0021 =~ $120)

the withdrawal fee for BTC is also $120, documented in the fee schedule

Nice catch!

It looks like Yobit and HitBTC have got a worthy competitor in terms of robbing users clean of their funds in form of withdrawal fees and minimum withdrawal limits  Grin

Imagine having to pay a withdrawal fee of . This is crazy!
144  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: To contact Xapo Support, please use our FAQs (https://support.xapo.com/) on: March 31, 2024, 08:38:56 AM
Now I see that Xapo turned into Bitcoin bank and users of it have to pay $14,99 monthly fee. Not cheap at all, wondering what users are gettimg for such money.
Going totally against the main principle of Bitcoin. I was curious, so I checked out the site, I haven't laughed this hard in a while  Grin
Why would someone hand their Bitcoins overt to them and then pay $15 a month?

The last I remember, people's Bitcoins got locked up in the custodial wallets, and they had no way of withdrawing it. The support wasn't helping either. If anyone decided to use that service again after all those complaints, that is on them.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on O2T on: March 30, 2024, 09:56:21 PM
One thing I know about such projects is that if it makes huge gains a few days or weeks after its launch. If you are an early investor, take profit and get out. Don't wait for long term. Most of them die out when the hype fades. Been there before  Cheesy

People are in the game to make money and in the next bull run or a couple of years, they won't care about the bright future of the project. They will move on to the next hype after AI.
146  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: March 30, 2024, 09:45:45 PM
They only have erc20 network available to deposit/withdraw USDC-USDT which they ask $10 withdrawal fee.
Perhaps this could be an area of improvement for Roobet. I know they are not an exchange that provides more withdrawal options like Binance or Kucoin, but they could at least deploy much more cheaper chains to improve on the user experience

I personally have never used USDT ETC20 due to the high fees.
147  Economy / Services / Re: Cryptocurrency Trading on: March 30, 2024, 09:29:46 PM
This looks like scam to me. I can also just up come with a name in order to scam people. If you are attempting to scam people, it is better you go elsewhere. On Bitcointalk, just forget it because you are only wasting your time.

If what you are saying is true, you are lucky. But I know it is not true but a scam attempt.
It does not look like a scam. It is a scam  Smiley

He is hoping to get some gullible newbies here so he can steal their funds. He tried the same thing in other forums, but the posts have been deleted since.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Existing/established altcoins or new ones? on: March 30, 2024, 08:58:57 PM
To be honest, i recently traded shitcoins and made way more profits than I did with established coins  Cheesy
Maybe I was just lucky, but the truth is there is also a huge risk as they dump so bad if your timing is bad. We are talking about 90% dump in a day or two. This is impossible with established coins

To me

Long term -- Established coins
Short term -- You can do new coins/tokens too, but be very careful and get out as soon as you get good profit. Do not be so greedy.

In the forum, they are no longer active, their official account here was last active on July 11, 2018, 10:03:03 AM. So that is a long time ago. Why don't you use their website instead to request for a listing?

Try this - https://www.worldcoinindex.com/coinrequest
be sure to fill up all the necessary details.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BETA | MultiChain DegenSniper on: March 29, 2024, 09:44:40 PM
Sorry for late reply. I can add Raydium and Jupiter, no problem with that. And yes, it's completely free. Users can send donations for me if they want.

Edit: Added new group link and updated text.
Thanks. I have just seen this, I will check it out and perhaps share the experience here. Solana chain is sort of a hot spot at the moment, that why I preferred it to other chains. Your bot could actually get more popular if it ended up getting advertised on platforms like Dextools or dexscreener but given that it's not making money for you through subscription, I understand.

Can’t lie, I’m disappointed Alonso isn’t going to take over from Klopp. I assume he thinks he will get the Real Madrid job when Ancelotti retires. Big risk though imo, if Leverkusen have a crap season Real will move for somebody else, the owe Alonso nothing.

In life sometimes you have to take a big opportunity if it comes your way. There is no guarantee Leverkusen will be good next season and if they’re not his career will be on a knife edge.
He probably needs sometime there before he moves to big clubs where there's immense pressure. I mean, look at what is happening to someone like Ten Hag. I don't think Bayer Leverkusen will have a crap season after this one because, what he has done for them so far is not just a fluke. Worst case scenario, they will be in the top 4 still if they don't sell off all their players and the League isn't that competitive.

He will still have a chance to join big clubs even after a couple of years.
153  Economy / Exchanges / Re: eXch - instant exchange BTC / LN / XMR / LTC / ETH / ERC20 on: March 28, 2024, 09:45:17 PM
When will you start accepting Solana?
They were asked about adding Solana to the platform last year, and this was their response. Perhaps they are first waiting for the hype to die down.

It is possible that Solana and some more popular currencies will be added, but we will await till the end of some hype trends first, because currently it's hard to tell whether Solana's popularity increase is natural or made up, but of course Visa's adoption is a serious step for it (but let's see if they don't change their mind?). We are also awaiting for more audits in regards to their code and network decentralization.

156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 27, 2024, 09:58:44 PM
He left Real because he stopped feeling confident because of management, so he's unlikely to come back, only if management are serious about it and can get him reassured.
Remember that even the first time, he did a similar thing, so his return can never be ruled out. After all, Real Madrid is sometimes open to the return of some of their legendary coaches. Let's not forget that it is also Carlo Ancelotti's second spell at the Bernabéu.

I don't know if that's possible now, but why should Anceloti leave? I think the management will do their best to keep him as head coach
At one point he will leave though, probably not in the next couple of seasons, but how knows how the future unfolds.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: I will buy old TRX (Tron) tokens on the Ethereum network (ERC20) on: March 27, 2024, 09:50:26 PM
I receive a lot of messages from scammers pretending to be interested in selling TRX tokens. Some of them even managed to deceive me for 5-10 USDT. If you are not willing to transfer some portion of the tokens first to confirm ownership of the wallet, then don't even bother messaging me.
The fact that your rank is also newbie and not much reputation here means that even someone genuine too won't bother going in first because they will also be scared of getting scammed. I suggest maybe you use a trusted escrow service for the transactions.

I remember on that was offering a few escrow services to the community members, though I can't locate their ANN at the moment.
158  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Amazon Giftcard to BTC on: March 27, 2024, 09:35:43 PM
There is a dedicated board for that --- Currency exchange but beware that members might take long to respond to your exchange request. Also since your rank is Newbie, they will always ask you to go in first, make sure you deal with trusted members or alt east use an escrow service to avoid getting scammed
159  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bybit now forcing users to carry out Facial recognition when withdrawing. on: March 27, 2024, 08:57:45 PM
digging up this old threat, just wanted to reaffirm everyone thinking about avoiding bybit. I have been having a terrible experience with them from the get-go. first of all the verification process is invasive as hell, then once you are verified and you don't use their service they way they would like to (i.e. leaving funds on their exchange, keeping open positions, not using stable coins vs. converting to btc) - long story short, they now locked about $500 of mine in btc, and when trying to withdraw it, they either want facial recognition, or they lock it completely if you try too many times, then they tell you they send you an email requiring more verification (mind you, already lvl2 verified account) and the email never arrives. I think bybit at this point is a shitshow, there are better alternatives, but they ask more fees or you have more slippage. not being bothered by silly requests comes at a price it seems. stay away from bybit unless you don't mind getting nagged to death with every step on the way. bybit is dead for anyone serious about crypto. this whole KYC thing is a fiasco waiting to happen in itself, on a long enough timeline, they will lose any and all data ever collected, and then there is no more such thing as identity at all. anyone sending them real data about yourself, and not trying to cheat the system makes a huge mistake in my opinion, don't make the same mistake I did, just forget about bybit. absolute horror shitshow. also support is completely overwhelmed, first time I had issues was a month ago, and they still did not reply to my support ticket. stay away.

oh, and don't try to cancel a pending btc transfer, or the whole ordeal starts anew. crypto has become a privacy-meme with companies like these. I can't wait for them to want to install a bybit certified webcam in your living room, so they can comply with klaus schwabs KYC requirements. absolutely f them.
And here I was thinking they stopped their silly facial recognitions. It's like they don't want users to completely drain their accounts or move all the fund to an onchain non custodial wallet.

To be honest, it's been over a year now since I last used that exchange. I found better alternatives that never bothered me with the stupid extra verifications when trying to move my funds.
160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: March 20, 2024, 09:56:20 PM
Actually, there are 3 favorite teams to win the UCL trophy. We have Bayern Munich besides Man City and Real Madrid. We don't forget that Bayern Munich is also a strong team and they often has a good history in UCL. It is very unfortunate that among these teams, 2 of them must fight in the current round. People expect that those 3 teams will be in the semi-final round at least.
Bayern Munich, this season is completely in shambles. I don't even think they will go past Arsenal if the form turns up on a good day. Real Madrid has to tussle it out with Manchester City, whoever wins in that match is most likely reaching the final and probably winning this year's title.
