141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: selling bitcoin is a stupid decision ? on: April 05, 2018, 06:50:54 PM
Hi guys , I  read in social media that many people are panicking its because bitcoin dropped every hour and they think they might lose their money because of that .Well for me , there's no need to panic because when bitcoin dropped as its lowest price its a blessing . And also joining in CRYPTO CURRENCY WORLD, you already know what risk you  should face , and  its a win and win bet when you hold bitcoin . So knowing that  some people selling their bitcoin I feel so sorry for them.

Selling Bitcoin or Other Cryptocurrencies is bad decision that they will do. The price as of today is very low so there's no need to sell because you will get a loss. All we need to do is to just hold and wait for the best time. We are just experiencing a paper loss not until we sold it at a lower value. For me, the best strategy is to buy additional coins and then hold.
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the history repeat again? on: April 04, 2018, 03:31:51 AM
So we have seen many speculations and predictions that bitcoin will go for one more bullish Eire from the end of March so we are at the end of March now , is it gonna happen like last year or speculations will fail?

We cannot actually predict what will happen in the next weeks or month but what important is we should think of what is the best strategy to do with our own portfolio. Since the price is still low, take this as opportunity to invest more and then just hold until the price will increase again. Let's just be patient and wait for the best to come for our Bitcoin to get bull run again.  I believe that Bitcoin will rise up again soon.
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to mine or buy Bitcoin? on: April 03, 2018, 05:43:51 AM

i think Bitcoin is only profitable if done at large scales. you must get expensive mining equipment and of course it consumes a lot of electricity monthly. Also it’s usually much more cost effective to buy Bitcoins with this money instead of using it to buy mining equipment.

In my opinion, it is better to buy Bitcoin because the price today is still low and then just hold until the price of Bitcoin will rise up again. We all know that the price is still have dips these past three months but don't be discourage because that is normal in cryptocurrency trading. Just take this time or opportunity to invest additional and then hold. Bitcoin is our future so don't be afraid about what others said that discourages us. Just believe that Bitcoin will increase too soon.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin Still a Good investment? on: April 03, 2018, 05:36:13 AM
Here is a 3 Reason why Bitcoin is still good for Investment.

1. Bitcoin is Better Investment now  than it was in December
the Main Reason for this is the Technology Around bitcoin is improving. A lot of the Naysayers were Attacking the fact that Bitcoin has scalability issues
saying that Bitcoin is Expensive and it can never be in world Scale.
But now with the Lightning Network we can do a transaction Off the Blockchain "it Means Bitcoin is Officially Off the Chain".

2.Because It has A Regulations
Regulations are good to Bitcoin.

3. There are more Places than ever to buy Bitcoin in using Fiat Cash
Robin Hood, a stock trading Platform.

Makes me believe that Bitcoin is going to continue to rise even though we are still on the Deep .

This post really gives encouragement to all Bitcoin users and traders. Bitcoin is the big thing that happened in online trading. It helps us so much so make ourlives better and easier.
I still believe that Bitcoin will rise up soon. So for now let's just hold our coins and be patient to wait for the Bitcoin to bounce back again to its peak.
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting tired of waiting on: April 02, 2018, 05:35:53 PM
I don’t know how much more. My $1350 investment is worth $526.78 as of this moment. My coins were BTH, LTC, and ETH.

We all know that there are so many dips and we had a paper loss not until you withdraw it. If the price is falling down, just be patient to wait until it rise up again. Patience is a virtue and it might really gives you good income if you wait for the best time to sell. Don't be discourage is the price is decreasing but instead take this as opportunity to invest more and then just hold. There's nothing we can do for now but to just hold until we have reached the desired income. Dips are normal in trading so don't be surprise about it. Bitcoin is too big to lose so you can never go wrong if you will just hold or buy additional investments.

146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you love Bitcoin? on: April 01, 2018, 11:53:05 PM
I love bitcoin because its the crypto currency and its the king of the crypto.
It hasa lot of use cases.
I can exchange it to any other crypto.

Why do you love Bitcoin?
Why are you interested?

I love Bitcoin because it gives me hope to change my life into better. It helps me to save money and at the same time earning from trading in cryptocurrency. Bitcoin can also be used as mode of payment thru online stores or even paying monthly bills thru online that has no charge and hassle free. I am still interested even if the price falling down because I believe that Bitcoin will rise up soon and I just need to hold my investments now and be patient to wait until I have reached the desired income.

fMerit
An obvious extension on top of Merit, sMerit, and source merit. It is calculated using this simple formula:
Code:
min((1103515245*(uid+activity)+12345) % (1<<10),(1103515245*posts+12345) % (1<<10), (1103515245*merit+12345) % (1<<10))

Calculation is not simple on me, sorry for being poor in math. Can anyone explain this more to me. Having a lot of update is quite hard to me. Thanks in advance to those who quote this msg.

I also noticed that calculation and looks like complicated at first glance.
We have so many changes this month and hopefully this will be benefit all of us to improve or having quality posts.

Please explain to me just the basic calculation. Thank you.
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too late to invest in cryptos if you're old? on: April 01, 2018, 11:16:13 AM
What would you guys advise someone who is retired, living off pension and savings? Is it too late/risky to invest at that kind of age?
Do you guys think the elderly have a chance of jumping on the crypto train, or do you guys think it's too late for them to invest?

Sir in my opinion, it is never too late to invest in Bitcoin in fact this is the best time to invest because the price is still low. Just buy low and sell high as the basic and effective strategy. Trading in Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies are for all age so either you are young or old, you can try it for as long as you have the capital to invest on. So for me, just invest today and hold until you have reached the desired income.
149  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's happening to Bitcoin? on: April 01, 2018, 04:55:29 AM
What is happening to Bitcoin? Why does the pricenkeeps on falling down? The initial result of G20 is favorable towards it so I thought that it will be the start of another bullish chart but it is the opposite. Can someone enlighten me about the current situation of cryptocurrency?

We all know that the price is still falling down these past three months but that is normal as you can review the previous years price. After that dips, I believe that the price will rise up again or bull run. I know that is only part of a Bitcoin cycle wherein we are in the part of accumulation stage and soon the price will hit the highest record or bull run and then correction and so on. All we need to do for now is to just hold and then wait for the best time.
150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin an asset or a currency? on: March 31, 2018, 06:45:29 PM

Seems many people treat bitcoin like an asset given how much it's gone up over the last year or so. But some academics disagree with that assessment. If it is to be treated as a currency, it will need to stabilize to be of use.

https://www.cnbc.com/2017/10/24/nyus-dean-of-valuation-says-bitcoin-is-a-currency.html

In my opinion, it can be considered as digital currency and an asset which can be usedas mode of payment in stores or online stores. However, since Bitcoin have controversies that some countries did not accepted Bitcoin and in Accounting rules, Bitcoin is not part of asset in a Balance sheet. Maybe soon that Internal Accounting Standards (IAS) will consider Bitcoin as cash in Asset section as Cash and cash equivalents or part of Investment.
151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is really good but not right now ! on: March 31, 2018, 05:43:05 AM
I will not invest bitcoin at the moment, it puzzles me.  2017, bitcoin prices will increase as bitcoin loans are the primary currency. In 2018 I saw a lot of bitcoin imbalances at times when it came to the point where I could not believe Embarrassed

We all know that there are so many dips or unstable prices of Bitcoin and Altcoins and that is not new, in fact that was already happened on previous years. When the price goes down, don't be discourage but instead take that as opportunity to invest more crypto currencies because the prices are low and then just hold until it rises up again and back to its highest price or might exceed more. Just believe that Bitcoin is the Big thing in our era that might change ourlives better.
152  Economy / Economics / Re: Central of the Philippines Recognizes Bitcoin on: March 31, 2018, 03:00:07 AM
http://www.newsbtc.com/2017/02/08/philippines-bangko-sentral-recognizes-bitcoin-payment-system/

According to this article the Philippines’ Bangko Sentral Recognizes Bitcoin as Payment System. The article also added that Bangko Sentral states  sees the virtual currency’s potential to revolutionize the delivery of financial services. Additionally, they also mention how bitcoin provides financial inclusion, which is something traditional financial solutions have been unable to provide. This statements coming from the Central Banks of the Philippines will give a potential impact on the rise of bitcoins value on the market. And not only that, the Philippine Central Bank is not the only bank that sees the merits of bitcoin but also the the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Wow! That's a great news for the Philippines. It shows that Bitcoin is the new thing in a society. Bitcoin is really a game changer that can improve our economy and helps many people to earn extra income and it can reduce the povery rate. Bitcoin is our future investment so we need to cope up with it. Many people have already changed their lives better to we might as well to experience the same as well. So, we better to invest to Bitcoin now and wait for the price to go up again.
153  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin will end soon? on: March 30, 2018, 03:38:09 PM
As you can see from the last couple of months price of bitcoin going down and down..
Is this the beginning of the end?

Yeah! I also noticed that dips these past three months but I still believe that Bitcoin will rise up again soon. Don't be discourage if the prices goes down but instead take that opportunity to invest more and.then just hold until you have reached the desired income. I think we are just on bearish month but that is normal in trading like previous years. For now, just hold and wait for the best time to sell.
154  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin is still dropping ? on: March 28, 2018, 12:09:26 AM
bitcoin price is still dropping and now its $8000 within 3 months market is soo awful. What is the real reason for that

We really don't know the main reason but if you look at the previous years results, that is normal before the bullish stage will come in at around latter part of the year. That is normal in trading so you don't need to get panic and withdraw it even if you are still in loss. Just be patient until the prices will rise up again.
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am i too late on: March 27, 2018, 09:50:36 AM
is now too late to invest on bitcoin ?

It will never too late to invest in Bitcoin and other crypto currencies most specially if your strategy is for a long term investment. Actually, this is the best time buy more coins because the price is lower and then you just need to hold and wait for the best time to sell until you have reached the desired income. This is our future so it is ok to invest at anytime you want to. Nobody knows but Bitcoin might change ourlives better like what happened to other investors.
156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs altcoins? on: March 27, 2018, 06:30:55 AM
Hi guys , what do you most prefer , holding bitcoins or buying altcoins which is have a good technology and for long term investment ?. I'm a little bit doubtful  where should i stand on . I'm not rich enough to buy and hold this coins at the same time. However I'm trying to figure out which of the  two much better . bitcoins have a old technology in blockhain compare to altcoins now which is they are more advanced but the prices  varies so  what your insight about this ?

Bitcoin and Altcoins are both good in trading crypto currency. Bitcoin is the mother of all so it has a domino effect to all Altcoins. It is safely to say that both are good so it is ok to invest to Bitcoin and Altcoins. Putting all eggs in one basket is very risky so don't worry if you will invest to other digital currencies. When investing to Altcoins, just consider those top 10 so that you can never go wrong about them.
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin used by criminals ? on: March 26, 2018, 07:53:47 AM
I once read an article that says bitcoin is used as a payment transaction for terrorists and hackers. And maybe you guys in this forum also already know it. But here i want to convey my personal opinion in that matter. I think that internet and bitcoin interrelated. Many terrorists and criminals use internet .so also with bitcoin which used perpetrator However, despite all these issues, do people make concrete efforts to ban the internet? No. Not because removing and banning Bitcoin is difficult, but because the internet offers more positive than negative. For the same reason, we have to be more careful about our mindset for Bitcoin, because much evidence has shown that Bitcoin brings many positive, if not more, effects than the internet. Internet and Bitcoin are just devices that 'bad guys' and 'good people'. Fortunately, the world is filled with more people in the 'good people' category.

In my opinion, yes they can use Bitcoin to do their criminal act. They can easily do a fund transfer in different areas at anytime and anywhere. They can also hack others Bitcoin wallet to fund their transactions to execute it. The Government must do something about it that they need to implement rules and regulations to protect the investors and the country itself. The Government must improve the Know Your Client or KYC rules so that all investors are accounted and not bogus or fake accounts.

158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: March 26, 2018, 02:15:29 AM
Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.

In my country, they are not accepting Bitcoin because it is not yet regulated by our regulators. The Government should need to make a study about it of how secured Bitcoin is because this is also for the protection and safety of investors. Maybe soon if time goes by hopefully Bitcoin can be used in bank. Bitcoin can only be used as mode of payment thru online and other merchants that accepts Bitcoin.
159  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people in the world know about bitcoin? on: March 25, 2018, 11:40:31 AM
i'm just curious if how many percentage of all the people on earth know about Bitcoin. in my country i think only 10% knows about it. post your opinion guys.

I think there is no survey yet but I know that there are many people around the world already knew about Bitcoin however they don't yet into trading. We should all know about Bitcoin more because this is our future and might change our lives better. It is worth it to know this new type of investment Bitcoin and other Crypto currencies.
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a currency? on: March 25, 2018, 10:04:31 AM
I found a video on YouTube https://youtu.be/qTxPfxmkLIY that according to this man (Warren Buffett) said "Bitcoin doesn't meet the definition of a currency" and he said that "he would not be surprised if bitcoin is not around in 10 or 20 years".

Is he a hater of bitcoin? while other big names appreciate the bitcoin.

Your thoughts?

Bitcoin is a digital currency that we can use it as mode of payment o buy goods and services in stores or online stores. Bitcoin is widely known by many people around the world. Bitcoin can really change our lives to better if Bitcoin has good performance in the market. So we better to invest now because the price is still low and then just hold until you have reached the desired income.
