141  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blaze.com Fortune Double (Room I) seeding event on: December 14, 2023, 04:50:32 PM
why don't you design your thread to look attractive?
please buy member copper so you can post pictures here, I see your telegram has a lot of subscribers and a lot of views, is that real?
I think we've heard that too many times but that isn't a requirement to meet everytime a newbie post here with a new thread, that's not mandatory. They'll improve it if they want it. Glad to see the honesty and dedication but you really need to tell more about your site in here, some kind of introduction for people to know your casino more.
142  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: IMPORTANT: Ledger ConnectKit Library has been Compromised with a drainer. on: December 14, 2023, 02:49:10 PM
I don't know if I'll be affected on it but when I saw the news I definitely run to revoke.cash and definitely I get to signed there but then suddenly it goes with another website so I closed it like "Vercel" or something, can't remember. Do I have to worry for that?
Imo, As long as you didn't sign any of the prompts, you should be good to good. Unless you signed any message or interactions with your signature, you should be good to go. But still, remain vigilant till we have a full report.
You mean if I didn't signed anything like the "signed message" that we see on our wallet? I think I did, because I was on the right site of revoke.cash but then suddenly it goes for another site and it asks to login with my GitHub etc., monitoring my wallet but nothing is happening at the moment, do I have to move anything then?
I would switch to a secure wallet so I don't have to worry about this anymore.
The drainer doesn't come from the signing message but was on the WalletConnect modal and the drainer was faking that popup modal with different appearance during the dApp connection phase. I already identify that during my interaction with revoke.cash they already made the site offline but I'm still being vigilant for further announcement.

Not necessarily I would switch considering there has been some staked assets on my wallet and the advisory that no interaction yet on any dApps means I won't be able to get them out as well. Still monitoring the incident and glad we have huge helpful community not just here but on Twitter/X as well.

145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bankroll! on: December 13, 2023, 05:04:24 PM
I know there are bettors here who dream of investing in sports betting and hoping to consistently make money from it.

So, I'd like to ask the following questions:

1. How much bankroll can you afford to start with?

2. With your bankroll, how much expected profit do you anticipate in a year?

3. Will you be content with your profit? If not, have you considered increasing your bankroll, even if you cannot afford it?
1. I think $500 dollars, that's pretty huge already even though I'm not that really the kind of a regular gambler.

2. For a year? I think that's difficult to estimate when even your bankroll could be burnt in just a few weeks or months. I think x4 or x5 would be enough for me for over a year.

3. Of course, you don't have to push it when it's just really the limit of what you can profit, at least you've got a profit. Being contented comes with strong conviction that it is what you can make, just be good with that.
146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one is fun, watching with bet or without a bet? on: December 13, 2023, 03:57:36 PM
Just trying to get the communities opinion based on their experience about the topic.

Personally, a a bettor, I find it very stressful when watching the game you are betting especially if it will end up a losing bet.

If we have the same experience, how do you cope up with that problem, after all, gambling should be fun but why we have this kind of feeling that we feel disappointed when our bet loses?
I think we can agree that we're more having fun when we don't have a bet and we are watching our friend losing or your bet wasn't accepted because it was already close, lol. One thing that we tend to mind when we have bet is the hope that you can win sometimes without enjoying the game at all especially when it's about sports. I think that's nomal if we feel upset if we lost, it's not normal if you still feel upset if you win. I mean, that's the default.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Samoyedcoin? on: December 13, 2023, 02:34:16 PM
So I was checking gemini website and scrolling through the coins on it to check to see if there is any coin that has a big increase or decrease recently.  Well there is a coin named samoyedcoin which of course I never heard of.  It shows it's up 70% in the last day or so.

I then took a look and this coin has been out for many years already.  The high was about $0.24 and the lowest was $0.001.  Now what exactly made this coin suddenly go up like this recently after being out for few years already?  Is this coin worth trading short term?  But not for holding long term as it probably go to zero pretty much later on?
Always check the legitimacy of the volume on some sites like coingecko, coinmarketcap, dexscreener, dextools etc. Probably it was just a pump and dump attempt so don't FOMO in. If it has little to no liquidity at all then probably it has a huge chance to go to zero sooner or later.
148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler takes his own life after a loss. on: December 13, 2023, 12:12:47 PM
But I wonder why should someone take his own life  just because he lost  #2.5 million to gambling an amount  equivalent to just about $3k. I can relate to his loss but taking your life is something unimaginable and unjustifiable to do. No matter the regrets suicide isn't an option to be taking as a solution , you are only leaving bigger pains  behind for your loved ones.
Probably he can't take the loss and probably his thought/mind wasn't that strong, that money is replaceable but not his own life. Maybe he experience depression in that state and gambling was his way to divert it but it would take a huge toll instead because of that loss. Condolences to the bereaved family.
149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Passionate gambler keeps the gambling boards rolling even after retirements on: December 12, 2023, 04:56:03 PM
Do you still play the game to make profits? Or you plays for fun?

All these are literally what passion for gambling could be but yeah, this said gambling festive organiser happens to be a retired gambler.
Play the game to make profits and have fun as well, you can do both while enjoying the thrill of a game. I think this man do really love camaraderie in my opinion considering he has been doing it for years now then he must love this activity that much. The main focus probably right here is to enjoy considering it's just once a year celebration.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Solana airdrops speculation on: December 09, 2023, 03:07:35 PM
Jupiter, Jito and couple others peanut amount so not worth mentioning already did airdrop. I think airdrop season on Solana is just starting and might be worth to give projects a try there. Even if these projects themselves don't do airdrop, we might see interaction with them counted in future by other projects, as we have seen happen on ethereum ecosystem.

Some potential ones:

1) https://app.drift.trade/ — perp dex, you can long arb with 3x leverage, and leave it for a while   Tongue

2) https://www.mfi.gg/r- lend/borrow platform

3) https://www.tensor.trade/ — nft marketplace

4) https://stake.solblaze.org/ — liquid staking platform

5) https://app.kamino.finance/ — borrow/lend platform

Good luck!
Thank you for this list OP, so this doesn't have yet some snapshots and we're still early? I've already notice this airdrops as the Twitter community is alive again so I think it's worthwhile if you did a thing or two to be somehow eligible on this. I'm more into Ethereum but I think Solana's comeback is imminent considering it already jump 3x from the lows just the recent month.

153  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should newbies do in trading? on: December 09, 2023, 12:44:48 PM
I'm also beginner in trading. I trade since this summer and I lost about $90 on $120 account. Recently I make $20 on last $34.
Throughout my journey in trading, I read Jack Schwager's book, watched many educational videos on YouTube, read many articles on the educational sections of CEX exchanges, and also talked with many traders. It seems to me that I understand enough about technical analysis, trading systems and trader psychology. But I'm at a dead end and don't know what to do next. Other traders advised me to just trade, but I think that over time I will lose my remaining $45, and demo trading does not bring such emotions and I don’t want to try hard when trading it
First is to know what is your objectives and from then on you should commit yourself on that. You don't have a choice but to get yourself dirty if you want to get back what you've lost or make more out of it, it's not easy considering you've got little portfolio but it's worth it if in the end you succeed. My advice is to focus on the small profit, let's see you focus on $20, then $50 etc., that way you'll focus more rather than focus on the huge amount of profits.
154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe you can win on sports betting by analyzing a betting lines only? on: December 09, 2023, 06:15:31 AM
When I say 'line,' I am referring to the spreads or handicap of a certain team in the game. Through my years of experience, I have noticed that putting effort into analyzing the team's statistics and other factors, such as news and rumors, does not significantly affect my chances of winning.

I got this belief now that bookmakers are already knowledgeable about these aspects, and they take them into consideration when establishing a betting line for a specific game.

How about you? Do you share the same perspective or not?
Yes, I mean you can do that by luck and by analyzing the situation base on the players performance and most of all by intuition. I think I do agree on you for that, right now I'm into live betting rather than just betting before the game. Most of the time I'm into low odds and most of the time they tend to follow the plan I'm betting.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to be cautious: Everyone is not market expert on: December 09, 2023, 03:55:54 AM
Well, we can't deny that these so-called experts are either to get your money, your views, or just even your support. I don't see that it's all of them, I can still say there are still out there that do it with passion without anything in return but they're rare to find these days. Those who really do some in-depth research are those who got little views or following and I guess people need to know that.
And very unfortunate that many innocent people have fallen into self-proclaimed experts and trust them. A lot of people lost their money from following these experts pretending that they know what will happen next but in the end, they will say sorry. That is why, it was encouraged especially for newbies that we have to do research on our own rather than trusting strangers because we have to know that the market is unpredictable. In fact, there are a lot of learning resources available online which is not hard for us to learn personally even without help from others.
This will keep happening if newbies keep coming as well, newbies are there primary target. We cannot control it but a little thing like this as a discussion in this forum will somehow help them in small way so that they will be aware. Being vigilant in the first place will help them but if you're not being aware these scammers will totally exploit you.
156  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price guess, 2023 on: December 08, 2023, 05:38:36 PM
My prediction is that the price of bitcoin will probably be in the range of $45k-$46k by the end of this year. The reason I predict this price is because the current bitcoin market conditions are very bullish. Bitcoin has rebounded after experiencing a long bearish phase in recent months. Therefore, it is very likely that bitcoin will soar high at the end of this year, especially since the general condition of the crypto market is still bullish.
Hmmm, I think we already hit that range, maybe we go higher at $50k with so much anticipation around the Bitcoin spot ETF approval. My prediction is that we will stay bullish until the next year then some correction pre-halvening, but will likely move upwards again post-halvening.

What an elaborative type of scam OP. Well, only noobs will fall in this scheme, it's too good to be true, it's literally you're giving free money to those who play on your platform which I've said is just a fraudulent act. What's with the Cashback? I think it's just to lure the gamblers here, maybe next time though.

159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling for newbies on: December 08, 2023, 12:09:41 PM
Hello everyone, as you can see I'm new here, I'm looking for recommendations for a game to bet some money that I don't mind losing, I would like recommendations and if possible a recommendation for somewhere that teaches how to play. Thank you very much. Grin
I'm pretty you'll love slots or dice as it was more easy to play, you can play it manually or automatically, your choice, the casino allows that. I think you should use search engines if you really want to learn on what game you wanna play. It's not bad to ask, but this one is likely a spoon-fed attempt for me.
160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sites and current transactions fee on: December 07, 2023, 06:24:59 PM
Now the gambling site was in the trouble because of the high transaction fee by the exchanges like the Binance. It was unacceptable one for the gambler to pay 26 dollars to withdraw funds from the Binance.Being a gambler,my opinion is to hold till the money in the exchange itself.Surely we get the profit from the gambling site,if we follow some techniques in the gambling site. But my point is why we need to pay the exchange fee of 26 dollars for the single transaction.

My decision may be seems revolutionary one,but the fact is the same transaction fee will be reduced when the market back to the bear standard. The bull run give huge dollars to the trader who hold from the 31k market price of the bitcoin.I had some arguments with my friends with whom we meet on every weekend. They also had the opinion of hold their money in the exchange till the market fee back to the normal one.So what your standard for the current transaction fee of bitcoin.
No, don't hold it on an exchange especially if it's huge, you can use non-custodial wallet or best a hardware wallet. Binance itself or the casino wasn't at fault in the first place if there's a price hike on transaction fees, they're just literally follow the market structure of fees. My advice is that if you will just put it on an exchange and can't gamble the money yet then I suggest trade that instead.
