461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cockfighting? on: August 31, 2023, 03:22:08 PM
~snip~
It is indeed quite complicated, but I am sure that slowly this problem will be resolved, as long as law enforcement officials are able to approach the community and conduct continuous direct hearings, because so far the government has established a law only carried out unilaterally without any agreement between the government and the community.
If law enforcement officers carry out their duties well, including providing understanding to the public, they can reduce their time playing cockfighting. They will also be more active in finding work than using cockfights to get money. However, the government only makes laws that the public may not yet understand, so there are still misunderstandings between them. Perhaps the approach by the government is still not enough because there are still places to bet on cockfights for them while law enforcement officials don't know about it.
The thing with law enforcement officers is that they only take action when they're being required or when something happens already, it has always been the case. The thing is, there are two types of people those who want a work or those who are lazy just to bet on anything as if it's a work/job, well, it's not. Lot and lots of laws just tell how corrupt that country/society is.
462  Economy / Speculation / Re: Methods of Pull back strategy in Crypto on: August 31, 2023, 02:17:55 PM
Well, this one is likely just a fundamental strategy but simple and not too complicated strategy is the best strategy. This one still involves the art of patience and it's always gonna be the key to be successful even on investing. This is one of the ELI5 thread I've encountered by far and thanks for sharing it here, it will be of use for those newbies who want to start their trading journeys.
463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: August 31, 2023, 01:20:48 PM
Easy win for Casimero? I won't doubt that and would love to bet if this wouldn't fall below 1.50 odds. I think I agree with what Darker45 said and he should have set his eyes on the prize that are worth it, he should have demanded for a worthy opponent instead of Oguni that's already ageing.
464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 31, 2023, 06:49:40 AM
Most probably yeah! Giannis already expressed that he wants to be on a team that could give him additional rings and he will not be staying with the Bucks if he couldn't win one anymore. So, the Warriors will be a perfect spot for him in his free agency. NBA fans are actually looking forward to this and the Bucks not gonna be the same anymore if Giannis leave, well not unless if they can make a significant improvement with the team next season.
Long way to go and for sure, there might be a change of decision depending on where the Milwaukee Bucks will end up next season. If able to compete again for the Finals and let's say Milwaukee Bucks is able to get into the championship list, an extension is sure guarantee to happen for Giannis.

Giannis will enter free agency after the 2024-25 season and along the way, there will be lots of happenings that can change his mind.

Too early to discuss his future with the Bucks but the fact that he opened up something about being departed from the team, the Bucks have to do something.
That would only mean one thing, they'll not get a ring this year and for sure Giannis will leave. The thing is, he is the one that decides it and it's on the management if they'll pick the right guys around him or not and that's the crucial thing they should do. I wouldn't imagine another franchise face for the Bucks but it is what it is.
465  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My experience as a beginner trader on: August 30, 2023, 08:30:29 PM
There are no experience mate Grin you lose  as a beginner to become a stronger trader  Smiley so for everyone out there thinking of QUITTING QUITTING is not the option here just keep learning  till you  can say "Gone are those days " Grin
Good thing that it is now gone but how far have you lose t how expensive it was to learn from it? I hope it wasn't that huge and if it is then I hope that it has already been in a win now or at a breakeven. Trading is a lifelong learning process too so you need to keep up especially within the trends.
466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the size and frequency of online casino winnings depend on the time of year? on: August 30, 2023, 12:49:57 PM
Do you think that there is a dependence of online casino winnings on the time of year? For example, for 9 years of playing, I received almost all the biggest winnings from November to May. In other periods, the game develops much worse  Undecided.

What time of the year do you win more often?
What? I don't think that there should just be a dependency on you winning on a casino, that for sure will be a profitable venture to take.  You play for the months you've likely to win and lie low when it's the months of losses. It shouldn't have to be that simple and most likely these are all just coincidences.
467  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we now on Crypto bull run? on: August 29, 2023, 07:16:55 PM
But what has happened throughout this year is that the price of Bitcoin has always increased to 30k after experiencing a correction and I think the price of 30k is a stable price for this year.
Right now it's doing a slow correction but I think it will recover and get back to a price close to 30k, I'm not sure we're going to go much further this year.
Today there was a price bounce which probably surprised me a bit as Bitcoin rose from around $26K to over $27K in the market in just a short time. So I'm also pretty sure that within this year Bitcoin will still be able to reach $30K and even more than that even though it won't be too far because this year only leaves about four months left before entering 2024.

The win with Grayscale on the SEC lawsuit isn't that bullish at all considering they can still deny the spot ETF if they will file for it again. What needs cleansing is the SEC internally and that for sure will be the best win we can have in this space. Historically, September isn't the best month for Bitcoin but I think if BlackRock gets an approval as well that would really be a turning point.
468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: August 29, 2023, 02:21:31 PM
The Philippines mounted a remarkable comeback, showing their strength in the 4th quarter. However, they couldn't overcome Italy's strong 3-point shooting, and fell slightly short. Personally, I find their effort commendable, especially since I placed a bet on them with a +12 handicap – which worked out well. With their journey now concluded, it's time for the team to relax and embrace an early vacation.

FINAL SCORE  83-90
That's for sure a good handicap and congratulations on that. They should have used that strength on the early quarters but that three point show by Italy was for sure a letdown to them, that was a fantastic show Italy made. Well, looks like it's the end and hope they learn a lot on it, I commend JC for playing in his country. They likely just not prepared, it really lacks chemistry.
469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: August 26, 2023, 09:07:10 PM
Today it was such boring day, from all 8 games only one - South Sudan - Puerto Rico was interesting. Blowouts by 30-40 points don't help to attract spectators, but it's quiteusual image in group stages of World Cup. Simply because gap between elite teams and rest of world is huge.
While South Sudan - Puerto Rico was close game as expected. Disappointed about outcome of game, I supported South Sudan, win in debut game of World cup would be big thing for this young and poor country.
New Zeland managed to be close to USA for big part of time, but while watching game it was obvious that's only matter of time when USA will run away.
Tomorrow it will be much more interesting day. Australia - Germany or France - Latvia sounds exciting, Italy - Dominican Republic too. Our neighbours Latvia got very complicated group, if they want to reach next round, they have to beat either France or Canada. Philippines have great chance to get their win in World Cup, playing against Angola.
It was an intense and exciting game though I'm at a loss on that game as I favored to South Sudan with 1.97 odds at -2.5. Well, they are in the lead until the end of 3rd quarter but they can't keep it sealed in the last quarter and maybe experience was the key here that Puerto Rico won. I think Philippines has the chance really there to win over Angola but would be tough with the speed especially over the Angolan point guard Dundao, he's the dark horse on that squad.
470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto scam: A retired correction officer charged as defrauded $600,000 on: August 26, 2023, 08:32:11 PM
Saying 20% return and it is approved by the SEC should be the hint by these investors and likely no one has ever research if it's true. Maybe his former position in the government makes him credible of the claims of his investment scheme considering most of his clients are government officials as well.
471  Local / Pilipinas / Re: PNP May warning about playing Axie Infinity! on: August 26, 2023, 03:20:51 PM
Well, sa totoo lang hindi rin naman sapilitan na bumili ka ng axie in the first place, responsibility mo pa rin yun as an investor. For me it's just a warning parang financial advice kumbaga yung sinasabi ng PNP-ACG rito. Sila na nga nagsabi na thorough research muna bago mag invest sa crypto at sa tingin ko edukasyon talaga about sa crypto ang solusyon dito.
472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos Should Also Be Prepared For Health Emergencies on: August 26, 2023, 02:09:13 PM
They are already prepared with any kind of (First Aid Kit)

But, do you know? most of the kit is only for the common case. Cardiac arrest (heart-attack) is not really a common case (it's really rare to be happening) and most of service provider is also are gonna to provided the same things that casino provided.

They are ready, for any kind common issue because that was the most they're facing.
Exactly, it was just too bad a timing or they didn't know the person was experiencing such case. As far as I know you won't open a casino if they aren't checked thoroughly by the corresponding agencies that handles it, they should abide with the health and safety protocols including first aid kits or they train personnels to do so.
473  Economy / Gambling / Re: Thought's on many major fiat-crypto payment gateways ditching casino business's? on: August 25, 2023, 07:57:08 PM
Maybe they don't have any crypto to start with and they just want to try crypto gambling for the first time. Online gambling is huge and it doesn't just revolve around crypto tbh, I think there's still a lot of online casino players that uses the traditional method of using fiat. Maybe you need to read the thread content first again, the topic was about "crypto casinos that offers fiat payment gateways but these gateways said they aren't accept casino business", though not yet clear if OP saif was true.
If that's the case, they can figure out how to use crypto or buy crypto so they can find other alternatives to the payment alternatives on the site. But they can also directly use the payment alternatives available on the site if they want to avoid looking for other places, such as exchanges. Users can choose the means of payment they like and don't need to use what other people use crypto. They need to find out before using something so they will go right after deciding.
I wonder if they are just skeptical but stablecoins are a way to introduce them since it's like the traditional fiat and most major crypto casinos these days accepts it. As far as I know, these fiat payment gateways/alternatives do charge huge fees and wonder if these traditional players aren't discouraged by it.
474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [MEMECOINS] Looking for the Next Great 1000x on: August 25, 2023, 06:38:23 PM
Ey guys.  Just in case anybody in the forum didn't know, the PEPE devs might have called it quits and are planning to sell the tokens in their multisig wallet that's supposed to be used for CEX listing and other stuff.  The devs have already sold half of it giving them a profit of around 6m USD.  Not really sure.  Just go read about it somewhere.  Lol.

As for PEPE's price and initial market reaction...  It ain't good.  And not really sure if it's gonna recover.  But on the other hand some guys are saying it's good overall as the project will finally be free and be a real community project.  Don't know about that tho.  Smells like cope.
Yeah, saw it on Twitter as well, one of the founder allegedly bought a car worth $800k. I think it's not good unless we really see that those coins are already sold onto the market but even with that it's still doubtful if it will continue. Well, it's their token and they have the rights to do so but I say it really smells like to be ripped off.
475  Economy / Gambling / Re: I have solved the problem of complexity in provably fair games on: August 25, 2023, 05:41:40 PM
I think you should give this pitch to your employer and not here. Not want to ask you any hints but you should have provide proofs of your claim so it would have a good point for discussion. Well, I guess it's nice to know who is this forum have the same situation as you and know the details.
476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: August 25, 2023, 03:46:47 PM
The game was actually close not until the last few minutes when a lot of turnovers happened. Too many free throws that didn't count as well.
I was cheering them while I was watching and shouting like it's not night here in our country. KAT did it the veteran way, it seems that it's not yet his full performance. During the last minutes, it seems that most of the players were tired and when JC was fouled out, they don't wanna move anymore. Those double three-point shots of Peña was the actual turning point and momentum of the Dominicana. Still, props to the Gilas team. We have never thought that the match will end up this close.
Turnovers and those forced three point attempts of the Gilas was really the thing that loses their momentum, too bad they could have won that. Lot of dribbles outside the paint and they can't even push it through that's why they tend to force it on three points. KAT can easily make fouls and as a good free throw shooter that was a turning point as well for them. With those rumors that it will be a blown out game by the Dominican Republic, it was really surprising it's this close.

While on the other match, Canada and France was a surprising game. The crowd favorite France lost to Canada.
95-65!
That's a lot of lead for Canada and I am one of those folks who have been thinking that France will be the desired team on this FIBA world cup. But it seems that this WC is full of surprises everywhere and for every team that we're thinking that's going to do well.
That is a blown out game, but with France as the opponent it was that shocking because their roster has only one non-NBA player (past and present) though it shouldn't be a basis that they'll dominate.
477  Economy / Gambling / Re: Thought's on many major fiat-crypto payment gateways ditching casino business's? on: August 25, 2023, 10:55:11 AM
Why would a crypto casino care whether it can or cannot strike a deal with a fiat payment gateway?
Well, I think there are still individuals that may prefer that especially if they're just starting in crypto or some individuals want it as an alternative for a crypto casino so these casinos still put it an option to some.

Don't know the deal with Stake and BC.Game adding it as an option but I don't think they'll put it there to just ruin their reputation. Either the OP is just making some story or there are miscommunication between these payment gateways and the casino. The OP didn't even make an update or provide more information about this.
Many gamblers are still looking for a better way to cash in, maybe this is why many still prefer a fiat currency.
I'm wondering though why they choose crypto casino if they will not use any crypto at all. What's specific site we are talking here?
I'm interested to know about theses crypto casinos who are working towards fiat adoption, this could be the trend.
Maybe they don't have any crypto to start with and they just want to try crypto gambling for the first time. 479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jerwin Ancajas vs Takuma Inoue - Nov 15 on: August 24, 2023, 06:59:24 PM
I think Ancajas has still that power to dominate in this match and besides he's more experienced and likely will be motivated to defend that belt. I voted for Ancajas with a KO here. I was in a hurry to click the title as it was Inoue but didn't realize it was his younger brother lol.
480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid Airdrop Scam on Trust Wallet via Links on: August 24, 2023, 06:12:36 PM
This isn't new and likely these airdrops are done automatically when  these malicious actors see if you're have an active wallet being involved on airdrops as well. Good thing crypto wallets these days have that feature to hide these lousy tokens on your wallet so always update it and exercise the necessary procedures to secure your wallet.
