601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Appropriate percentage of income for gambling on: July 14, 2023, 04:45:44 PM
I use 5% of my weekly income to gamble and I can not go more than that. Sometimes I can be busy and I can spend less. If a week favours me, I will save my profit and the remaining (5% last week income) for next week gambling. According to what I heard, people spend up to 12% of their weekly income on gamble. I think it is not bad but that gives me the thinking to make a post like this on this forum. What percentage of weekly income do you think is right for gambling?
Actually making it less 2% is what I can totally give up for gambling since it's not that of a priority but trading. There's no right or wrong on how much you can give onto gambling it depends on your level of perception if you're ready to lose it or not since that weigh more compare to what we can actually win. Allocation isn't the question, it's about the risk and the responsibility if you lose it.
602  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price of a Bitcoin could cost millions of dollars: Standard Chartered on: July 14, 2023, 03:27:52 PM
They're not the very first influential people that made such claims even the late McAfee says it will reach $500k but likely not in the coming years. Probably the best possible scenario is a $100k touchdown in the coming bull run, we gonna speculate the rest when it touches first that psychological level. This 2024 or 2025 I am expecting we will witness that.
603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What could make you get into a fight with your fellow gambler? on: July 14, 2023, 02:03:51 PM
What could make you get into a fight with your fellow gambler? And would you agree at anytime to double cash with your fellow gambler to place a bet using his account, on the notion of increasing the potential win.
When his not giving you what he really owed after you've won the bet, that's a no-brainer to get into a fight. I don't think that's fair to use others account, I'd rather make my own account then bet there because in the long run that will always gonna be the case especially if you know that fellow gambler of yours is a cash grabber or you don't even know. Make your bets personal because the other party might not gonna agree on your bets especially if you two are losing, one will surely blames the other.
604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You must do this if you want to QUIT or NOT on: July 14, 2023, 09:21:49 AM
I think for me the answer is to not quit, you may pause to do gambling but sooner when you want to come back you have the lessons of the past rather than just quiting instantly. I tried that before but it's not that easy I'd rather have some mitigation plan rather than quiting immediately. Gambling might seems bad but it's not if you take it on moderation.
605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 14, 2023, 06:46:43 AM
Reports are coming out stating that James Harden is done in a Sixers uniform. Apparently he has had some disagreements with the GM of the Sixers and doesn’t want to play in Philly anymore. Shocker, Harden and Kyrie Irving can’t find places to be happy… People close to Harden are saying he has his heart set on playing for the Clippers this season.
If it will gonna cost Norman Powell or even Terance Mann I don't think that will be good for the Clippers or both team tbh. I don't want to see another disaster between them and Westbrook if ever this go through. I think the current roster with Clippers right now favors to them but if Harden will be added I don't think that will be worth it.

Knicks, Pelicans and Milwaukee are the rumors he might get to but we know how the Sixers GM deals and he's not that easy to be persuade when it comes to this. Harden is fit on them, it's just that they're not getting contented and likely want the easy path to join with superstars, maybe it's not the team maybe it's themselves to begin with.
606  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: July 13, 2023, 05:17:29 PM
I could say that I have had BFG tokens, Fun tokens, and I would like at some point to be able to have the money for the Rollbots, because really when they are well supported by a good casino things are excellent.
So why do you not buy some Rollbit token and add $RLB token in your portfolio?

You can consider about this idea and buy $RLB when it has corrections. The token made its new all time high, in this year 2023 in this bear market.

Rollbit coin is now trading at $0.07 and its trading volume is on fire. The token is available to trade at some exchanges.
Looks like the Rollbit is pushing the marketing since I saw that video from VirtualBacon, I don't know if they are affiliated privately cause it wasn't said in the video but it was probably a good review for RLB. I think it's not the marketing that should be commended to the team but the utility of the RLB token and it's really mind blowing. I wouldn't be surprised if it makes even to top 300-500 in the coming weeks or months.
607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be watchful it's not yet time on: July 13, 2023, 04:27:40 PM
The recent won of XRP over their lawsuit from the SEC should probably be one of the catalyst in this bull run. The narrative of the halving isn't just some might be a theory to others but with the past bullruns we witness that it rise after that and that's a fact. A sudden dip isn't really new to crypto unless you're into leverage trades, you probably gonna lose if you caught the wrong side.
608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Signs that indicate you are not addicted to gambling on: July 13, 2023, 02:26:47 PM
  • Demonstrates Self-Control
You can go days without gambling because you have the will power and might to. You do not feel powerless and unable to control your desire to gamble.
Self-control is the biggest indication that you are not addicted to any habit and just gambling. Addiction is characterized by a loss of self-control and will power to take decisions about something even when you can see the negative effects it is having on you.
I think you can summarize all on the list if you have this behavior and I agree with that. If you have control over your actions whether it's not regarding about gambling then you'll surely haven't have any problems at all or you mitigate it before it arise. Of course, it's not an easy feat to be dealt with and you may face challenges even, but, through time with patience and practice it's not really impossible.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qIU-ReCdRRg&ab_channel=FernanSantiago

610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ads for online gambling should be banned. on: July 13, 2023, 07:01:07 AM
It's only in Australia that are willing to ban online casino advertisement. Not sure what you mean by bitcointalk casinos. Bitcointalk is a forum. Not a casino. The ANN thread you see is the announcement threads. It's not an advertisement thread. They announce their updated over there. The signatures are personal user space. I doubt it can be considered as a commercial advertisement. People can put what they want in their signature. They can put their referral links. And I doubt Australian government would care about this forum.
Wearing a casino signature means you're promoting the casino, if you're an Australian citizen, actually you're broke your country laws. But do you think Australian government will care and catch you? nope, the highest payrate of signature campaign in this forum is $150, such amount is just a peanut for them and not worth to take a serious action. Bitcointalk is also an underrated forum, not really high like reddit, so it make the government won't care about you.
What if they make all of the activities regarding gambling banned even on underrated forums like here? I don't know if there are really Aussies here that probably wearing signatures for the sake of $150/week, I think that's too low for them, just saying. I think signatures are part of an advertisement if you're being paid for that, yeah, you really represent them and I agree with you.
611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: look, look, what's this on: July 12, 2023, 09:58:09 PM
Some people say that the network signal is not good when you are away from home. If there are currencies that are traded offline, that would be great, and maybe there will be large-scale application scenarios for digital currencies! What do you think?
A diigital currency that is offline? I don't think that will ever happen maybe not these days yet considering a lot that's being built are online and internet is only accessible online. Sure that will be good in the long run as it may reduce consumption and energy but aren't we are innovating most of our technology online now?
612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: July 12, 2023, 09:35:30 PM
-snip-
To be honest, I had taken seriously those images explaining comparisons between them and mentioning that both of them have actually studied and practiced some sort of martial art. Because in my mind it makes sense that someone with enough time and money would like to learn a bit about those things eventually. Now that you mention and point out the possibility of it being a lie, I think it is a huge coincidence both of them are alledgedly proficient on some fighting discipline.

Still, even if they were not it would be funny to see through the first 2 or 3 rounds, in my opinion. There would be good memes out of it.
It's funny, they were actually studying martial arts when they announced they wanted to run the fight.
But I don't think the fighting abilities of the two of them will be perfect because they learn instantly and quickly.
I also read on Twitter as shared by @Oasismen, Zuckerberg who practices martial arts with professional UFC fighters and this could make Zuckerberg a little ahead of Elon Musk later when their fight is held.
At this point I am not even sure whether this fight is actually going to take place or not though. To me it seems that the only fight we are going to witness is a legal fight for the dominance of the Twitter-like ecosystem or rather, a fight for the market of micro blogging.

However, knowing of attention seeking Elon is, I would not be surprised if he liked the idea, Mark is not as attention seeking as him, so I am not sure he would be willing to get punched in the face.  I still believe Elon might have a little bit of advantage over Mark.
I think I will take back my word that the fight will come, it seems that it is not. The fight was likely a cold war and what we see now was the fight between who was better of having inventions in the digital space, I think Mark has an advantage if it's the case. Threads was likely a provocation of Mark but Elon wants to fight it in legalities.
613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there real sports bet groups on: July 12, 2023, 09:17:27 PM
It's stated that he is making that amount per month, which indicates a level of consistency. If this is indeed true, then I believe he should consider pursuing gambling full-time and leave his job in order to maximize his profits. Earning around $700-$800 per month is noteworthy, but I am also curious to know the size of the bankroll he utilizes for his betting purposes.
If that is the case that it is steady for him that such amount comes to him through gambling, his bankroll does not matter to know because if the risk he is taking is not worth it then he won't be that successful on it, it would have been affecting him when he loses. So he probably is taking proper care to analyse the games that are giving him such winning. But usually those that win in football betting don't play so many games. They just play few and boost the potential winning with high staking power.
I'm envious but I think it does not come without a risk at hand. I think he's good at risk management then and that's a sign that he'll be successful in the long term, he may have losses but for sure if he doesn't become greedy chasing it that's still fine. I don't know about leaving a job will suit it, maybe take it some consideration first before quitting.
614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 32nd Binance Launchpad Project Arkham on: July 12, 2023, 02:44:36 PM
I've been with Arkham email subscriber list but never know that they will be available at Binance Launchpad. Well, Binance is always at the front when new narratives are coming and they are exploring, if they are getting these tokens on them then it's a sign, maybe a DeFi summer once again. I bet PENDLE will have a blast as well now that they're likely the one that leads in LSDfi narrative. Who knows? You probably have to not get FOMOed or risk those you can afford to lose.
615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 11, 2023, 05:28:07 PM
Wemby is gonna take the break in the NBA summer league and will now focus on the upcoming season. This is as per the decision of his team, Spurs.

Spurs decide that Victor Wembanyama’s Summer League is over after two games

I guess this is all part of the grooming plan and he had shown enough for the summer league. The preparation for the upcoming season should be prioritized then.
Not a bad performance for his debut in the league and I think that Spurs will give him some workouts to do for improvement. He's agile, and has passing ability, overall I'd say he's definitely great but having a skinny body in his actual regular season debut will surely not dominate if he goes head-to-head with some plumber guys on the court. Can't wait for this phenomenal kid to make some storm.
616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Thoughts On First Time Lottery Bettor Who Won Big Amount? on: July 11, 2023, 04:22:22 PM
I feel like I need to bet on it too from now on mode. I will never be envious if that luck wasn't for me in the first place and I'm ok with it that they are winning something, it's just too immature to feel that envy. We all want to win or be successful even if it's just thru gambling, there's nothing wrong with it but getting envy from a first-time bettor is not that great, they deserve it if they win it. A fact, we want to be them too if they win.
617  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Online Casino promoter hahabulin na ng CICC on: July 11, 2023, 02:39:42 PM
Influencers are used just to promote other businesses, but honestly i think those influencers ay minimal lang ang alam sa product or business na pinopromote nila, kumbaga for money sake lang yan. Not saying all of them but most of them. Be smart at choosing to whom you give your support khit idol mo sya, stil DYOR.
"Ignorance of the law excuses no one".
618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What attracted you to gambling?Share your experience whether good/bad. on: July 08, 2023, 06:48:17 PM
I think what attracted me most into gambling was the narrative to win big especially when you came across a video or an article concerning a winning game. There has been a lot of things that attracts me most but social media was the main driving force that it gets me into online gambling, I don't really gamble offline but since I almost spend my time online and here in the forum, that's why I feel like this attracted me most even these days.
619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Verified twitter, telegram account is the strong point for a new project? on: July 08, 2023, 06:25:26 PM
My friend informed me that at this time many upcoming project social account like twitter, telegram is verified.
Does that mean these projects can be trusted?
In fact many are encouraged to invest in any new project following this.
What is your opinion on this matter?
I don't know when was the last time did that ever happen. Of course that is not the full proof to say that the project will be legit, strong and has potential for success. Perhaps it can be trusted but having it an easy way is surely doubtful considering you can literally verify them in minutes if you have money. It is not and shouldn't be the basis for a strong project.
620  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade with caution on: July 08, 2023, 02:22:52 PM
Well, over time if you keep the pace you'll surely learn the best way to minimize your losses. You'll have portfolio management, stop-loss feature is always there, plans and analysis are carefully reviewed, and lot of other things that will make you be good at trading. Trading will consume your peace when starting but fruitful when you know how to play the game in the long run.
