141  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] 3.4MH/s Scrypt GPU Complete Rig on: March 28, 2014, 05:12:31 PM
What are your auction terms?

Just FYI...I just shipped 4 rigs in a HUGE box no frames though, but included mobos, mem, cpus, GPUs, PSUs, cables, etc. 67ish lbs. for $60 UPS Ground with $500 insurance.  $150 seems high.
142  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Please help me with PSU , GPU and mother board cables. on: March 28, 2014, 05:00:41 PM
I'm not sure anyone else is going to attempt to help as this is a HUGE request that would be very tedious and time consuming.  If you're never built a computer before you have to start somewhere, but this would probably make more sense if you could find someone local to help get the Rig physically assembled and an OS and mining software installed and us help from there.

"most" cables only fit in 1 spot 1 way, but not knowing what you are doing and static are problems for hardware assembly.

What is your video card?

Catalyst is the ATI/AMD Graphic driver version?

SDK is required to provide openCL drivers which gives you the ability to mine with the video card also from by AMD/ATI?

If you don't have an updated graphics driver and OpenCL drivers ie the SDK it isn't going to mine.

change mining.bitcoin.cz:com3 to stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333 and make sure your username and password is correct.

Are you attempting to mine scrypt with your GPU?  What GPU, What Catalyst and SDK? What OS?

No one can help you from that screen shot without knowing what you are trying to do with what hardware.
149  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Chili miners - 30-35GH/s - .2 BTC each on: March 26, 2014, 02:23:51 AM
Standard GPU/CPU Coolers

The normals are:
Hyper 212 Evo
Arctic Accelero Mono or Twin

They cool a lot better if you use one of the above coolers w/ a GPU backplate

I guess that's a valid question is what cooling solution if any is included and does it include backplate?

It's more than likely the video card as has been mentioned, but it doesn't sound like you want to listen to any advice on here.

152  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: How to turn on rig without power button? on: March 25, 2014, 01:05:50 AM
I used these:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/10pcs-PC-ATX-Power-Cable-Button-Switch-for-Replacement-On-Off-Reset-Switch-/261210069984?pt=US_Power_Cables_Connectors&hash=item3cd1555be0

Took some time to arrive, but do the trick for cheap without having to worry about NOT having a power switch.
153  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: How to start cgminer with only specified hardware? on: March 24, 2014, 12:46:21 PM
Read the readme section on the --usb command. You can specify how many devices to mine with and which specific device types and usb slots if you like.

Eg:
--usb :1
will limit it to mining only on the very first usb device it finds that it supports.

If you're talking GPU mining then you're in the wrong place.

Nah, not gpu. Just got a bunch of ASICMINER block erupter usb's and a few of the antminer usbs. I don't want cgminer touching the antminers because it has no real support for them. I looked through docs, i'm just tired of reading them. Didn't see that in there, for some reason. thanks

Sorry and Thanks this made me smile this morning...
I'm only going to assume OP didn't realize CK is who actually take care of cgminer   Cheesy
154  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Only 3.9 Mhash/s on: March 21, 2014, 07:37:04 PM
Yes advice is do lots of searching and reading.  Unless you are just doing this to learn your hardware should not be mining.

Sounds as though you're using guiminer on a laptop...

This will shorten the lifespan of said laptop and cost more in power to mine than it can possibly make with those devices.

The 720M using cudaminer instead of guiminer IF it can mine at 50Kh/s which I'm unsure of it's specs would generate a rough guess of .00025 BTC equiv per 24 hours or about $0.15

EDIT: Forgot to mention it makes even less or completely loses money on electricity trying to mine BTC.  The above info was for converting to scrypt mining.
155  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: GUIMiner Problems on: March 21, 2014, 07:28:52 PM
Also mining BTC at this point with anything but asic devices is pointless unless just for learning for a short time.

What "device" is selected in your drop down window?  This is the device that is mining.

If you are getting 720Mh/s out of your video card on slush's pool there is a reasonable chance that it can actually be profitable mining scrypt alt coins depending on your power costs, but we need more info.

What is your video card?
156  Economy / Marketplace / Re: PRE-ORDER GROUP BUY black arrow prospero x-1 on: March 21, 2014, 12:40:24 PM
Really?

That's not even a reasonable deal trying to do a group buy behind the company s back.

Here is a legal distributor selling for less.

PM me a range you are looking for price wise if you don't want to post it public.
159  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] BitFury 16x v1.2 H cards & Spotwood case for V2 boards on: March 20, 2014, 07:33:55 PM
This does not include the M Board correct? If not do you know where it is possible to pick one up?  I don't see them in stock at megabigpower or BFSB.
160  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: HELP ANTMINER RESETTED AND NOW IT WONT HASH on: March 20, 2014, 06:08:21 PM
I'm leaning towards trying a different PSU as well.  Just because you have had success with others even the same model does not mean the one with problems can't be bad or underpowered or failing for that matter.  If nothing more than just to test and eliminate that variable.
