I have agreed to do a complete overhaul of the website, but again I would like to help form this PR team. We really need more updates to the community and to establish more transparency. I understand keeping the 2.0 details hush hush, but we need POS asap there is no possible excuse for not having this. May I suggest a rate of just under 8% this would combat world inflation and keep us viable.
More liquidity would help too - how hard is it to get listed on Bter? Chinese exchanges trade on different timezones and can help prevent dead zones in trade activity which kills volume. Also chinese exchanges sometimes just get excited about totally different things than western ones and can disrupt deadlocks whale battles (which usually end in a big dump when seller whale gets tired of sitting on a lifeless investment and cuts his losses to catch action elsewhere). |

I meant what is going on with development, as a passer buyer what is expected in the future of this coin. I would actually like to help. I originate from the vericoin community. Last I heard you had a new website going up, do you need help with that because I can have it done in 2 nights. Yes I also develop I know a few people also. My main concerns are,
is POS implemented ?
Is the website up ? I want to read about the devs and see progress on work being done on this site
Do you guys want your own forum ?
Are the Devs confident enough to do PR, or have a community manager to do it for them ?
Do you have a basecamp, or slack type place where you invite trusted community member to help in your projects ?
Will you be starting a crowd funding system or simple website to assist in your goals ?
If more btc is needed to fund projects maybe consider starting a pool ? winner gets half other half goes to goals.
More importantly then all that what innovation will separate you from other coins?
I am a supporter look at my history and you will see that. I am also a holder of ltcd and really want to see you guys prosper with a name like this. Also as I mentioned in the past I am a builder for VRCradio.com also working on 16 other crypto related sites. I dont play template chump change games. You community is asking for updates, if you need help get some bounties posted. Set up a leader program for people to help promote LTCD. If you are willing to do an interview to show you coin to the public and tell people what sets you apart from other coins I can get you an interview with Kevondo. Anyway I am saying I would like to see better from EVERYONE in this community as not just the overworked Dev.

There's a slim chance of getting traction small window of opportunity to get traction while many people are looking at LTCD right now, BTW and BTW #2: Currently pushed to #6 in 24H volume, this is amazing for a usually ignored coin that is not being pumped. Yes. Forcing price down with a handfull of bitcoin and then pump it well over 1000-1500 , making people think they are missing the train to the moon now, and then sell. It´s a normal tactic. And a very lucrative, too. When i see such a thing happending, i buy  Yeah normally I agree, but there comes no pump, it all downward, since the beginning and the first pump. There's a lot of action on this coin atm, #8 in volume out of 210 coins is nothing to ignore if you day trade. This is a chance to get recognized while a lot of people are paying attention to it (even if its just to fight over price).  |

But where is the new features?
I know things take time.. But we cant last much longer if something does not happen.
Price is faling, and intrest is being lost.
We need something from you Devs.
Im down 40% atleast on my investment.
And that is without counting the hashrate I bought back when we had a block problem..
I think that changing the name, or talking about it, may hurt more than help right now. It will make people get out of the coin thinking it will get a new ticker and fork somehow. Right or wrong, it is not unreasonable to be concerned about this possibility if you aren't watching the coin's activities day to day... which most speculators/investors/bystanders aren't. |

I suspect it might be the remnants of that defunct P&D group, consolidated and re-formed, manipulating the price low while they accumulate a new stash, with the intention of pumping then dumping again. Misplaced hope of recovering some of their lost funds. They should consider that it didn't work out well for them the last couple of times they tried it here, and that maybe they should move on to some other coin. Perhaps one of the SCAM coins would be a good target? Someone is intentionally keeping LTCD at this price, other devs, enemies on a more personal note, who know.... But it's a fact.
Looks like basic market games combined with a little greed and hopium smoke from people who have time to waste trying to turn $100 into $120. Nothing more. They are just managing the price down hoping to build up the sell book and hope someone just gives up and this happens:  |

This coin was a strange pump, wasn't it? Who would announce an entry point at 1100 sats when it sat at 650-700 sats for many days before it was announced? I think it looks like someone picked up on the momentum of the smaller pump that carried it from 700-2700 sats (and back to 700), and turned it into much bigger one a day or so later. Maybe they didn't expect it to be spiked before their own announcement. If you have the contacts to do so, it's not hard to get a few small bits from mainstream press (esp. their online properties which get the throwaway stories that would never make it to print) if there's even a shred of a story to be sold that can help fill their pipes with content.
Professional copywriters can bang out an 'article' like that playboy story in 90 minutes flat, including research. The other announcements are little more than tweets and generic re-hashing of the same information.

any of you have titcoin in wallets or on other exchanges, it's currently being bought up by what i assume is a defective bot on cryptsy at 2700 satoshis. That's about 4x what it was selling for a few hours ago...

The guy isn't very smart and he's gonna get himself and/or his family hurt by some crazy internet fuckers. I won't feel sorry for him, and I also won't feel sorry for anyone who goes to jail for making threats/following through with them. I kind of hope some crazy internet fuckers get to him.. Yep, many people with 0 balance at their wallet or pocket (bank) .... People with guns whose life is fucked by this guy Alex Green (crazy internet fuckers) they maybe will try to find him and ... who knows Because this is exactly what happened to Mark Karpeles. I forgot to add this earlier: In the case of Swift it is fair to expect the dev to maintain a fast pace in line with the large amount of BTC the "community" entrusted the devs with. 320 BTC is a lot of money that should be enough to fund the fast paced road ahead. That is of course if the ICO funds will be used for development and marketing work and if the dev team is sincere and honest. A hypothetical situation in the case of an unscrupulous dev team and pump group would be as follows: Pump leader and dev makes a deal that pump group will buy most of ICO in return for guarantee that dev hands over ICO funds to pump group as well as for assurances that dev would add lots of bling and hype to improve sentiment to add to the pump group's own hype. Once price is high enough due to the increased sentiment due to promises and with large enough buy orders for pump group to exit profitably, ICO funds are paid over again by the pump group to the dev for future work or for whatever the dev wanted the ICO funds for.
Of course we all believe that such an atrocious situation is not applicable here and that everything with this ICO was above board. Proof will be in the fundamentals when features work properly, increases utility of the public and gets widely adopted. Earnings is a bonus and anything based on just future promises are fake and empty. It is up to the dev to prove this to the community that gave him 320BTC.

In other words is there any such thing as "proof of ICO shares sold to new investors", or do the ICO buyers just take the dev's word for it? |

What do you mean in the works? ETA, roadmap, details? You're first days where nice but the last days we only get vague information. Your pdf's also give very little information no details, no eta and no how we will.  The coin is less then 7 days old.. LMAO.. you're a fool dude.. How much do you expect to be rolled out in the first 100 hours? Dont you get it? This is a long term play with only upside potential. Leave the devs alone to do their shit! It is a fair question. Remember that in crypto people's attention span is 2 weeks max aka "honeymoon period". The dev therefore has to maximise price during this period because after 2 weeks people start to look around to other coins and many speculators move their money to fresh coins where most of their money can be made. If the speculators feel that the devs momentum is slowing down, then the chances of volatility and high volume reduces and lower volatility and lower volume means a lower opportunity for profit. A dev therefore has to make a choice - on the one hand he can start a coin with a bang running at 100mph or he can start the coin running at 10mph. The advantage of the first option is that he is seen as a dynamic and committed dev and the price can skyrocket in the beginning. The disadvantage is that all energy is exhausted quickly and a slowdown from 100mph to 50mph is easily noticed and leads to all sorts of questions about the slowdown. The price will also start to taper down after a quick rise, since the price is linked to hype. This can be compared to running a 10 mile race but sprinting during the first 30min until you are tired. Alternatively a dev can start things slower but have good news spread it out a little bit. The second option could perhaps extend the honeymoon period a little and cause less questions about delivery. The second option could be a race winner and have a more gradual price increase. Pump groups would like the first option as it would skyrocket the price on hype for them to take their profit and move on. Long term investors would favour the 2nd option. In the case of Swift the dev played most? of his cards in the first day or two probably hoping for a massive quick price rise. The dev chose to start the race at 100mph and now he has to maintain the pace or face the risk of questions and inevitable FUD about a pace decrease. In addition, real value is based on delivery and adoption. Any price increase not based on working functionality, rollout, adoption and real life use is pure speculative, fake and empty. Feature delivery is just a temporary factor to maintain investor interest and maintain a level of belief in the dev until the real life use and adoption can kick in. It is during the period after the honeymoon ends until rollout and adoption that most if not all coins fail. Also, when a POS coin is evaluated, compare apples to apples meaning compare it with other POS coins. Many people in here compare Swift to BTCD or DRK. It is completely different because those coins are POW which have different attributes affecting the price. Yeah speaking about that...Where the hell is Satoshi Nakamoto? Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!!  |
