Silkcoin could still have a bright future, with the community takeover happening, its going to be the most up-to-date POS/POW hybrid coin.

But seriously in the long term, NXT and NEM, im only investing in other alts to try and get a bigger stake in NXT.
Silkcoin is dead. Leave it. Its name will be always labelled as the major scam. In addition. Unless they hire a some serious developer, it will never be the most up to date PoW/PoS hybrid. I very much doubt that any coder with serious skills will ever take over the Silkcoin, because what happened. |

Was yes, but it turns out that the community is a lot stronger and has taken over the project. Hopefully more trusted devs want to join the team. What happened with SC? Someone wanna fill me in? Short explanation was given some posts back. Dev could not fix the issues with the coin and decided to dump the premine - therefor pretty much killed the coin. I was tempted to buy this at one point, since it showed some innovation. Happy that i decided not to touch it because all the hard forks and the source code looked fishy to me. |

I'm currently involved with 5% PoS monthly (paid daily) coin HYPER. They have already set up a Counterstrike server where people can get FREE HYPER for fragging bots and earning achievements in the game. Each day, new altcoins arrive on the market.

This . Most of all the coins that are released on daily basis are just pump n dump coins , no innovation , simply cloned coins . But there are still people who are buying them and becoming bagholders . More and more newbies incoming in to cryptocoin forums every day. They will take some losses until they realize that there is no point to buy those short term coins. If you are new and you want to put your money in to some cryptocoin, then do your research and think twice before you invest. Try to assess which coin will be there for a years to come and which will die. My bets from the oldest to the newest of the altcoins are LTC, WDC, DOGE, CINNI, DIG. Im confident that those choices will average me a good profit after months and years to come. I have no interest in short term pumps. I simply dont camble against all the trading bots. |

There are over 800 altcoins already. 90% or more of them will die sooner or later.
New coins trend is likely going to continue until people will finally start to realize that there is no money in quick pump and dump. Thats where truly innovative and professional coins will start to shine and all shitcoins will be quickly forgotten.

I agree with you. We have already started to see exchanges really crack down on adding so many new coins, which is really the only thing that gives a coin value. The problem is: New shitcoin introduced. Offers bounties for wallet, translations, block chain etc. Same people do this to receive free coins. Pools add coin and charge a percentage....for free coins. A small group will always get in right away, get large amount of coins and stand by coin no matter how terrible or worthless it is. Group will petition every exchange to get added so their coins are worth anything. If it ever does get added, most will be dumped and volume will be low. Look at Poloniex. 57 coins ATM with a 24 hour volume of less than .1 BTC and another 8 with volume less than .1 LTC . Why? There is no want or value for so many coins out there. Exchange volume is not an indicator of if the coin is good or bad. The best indicators are the coins topics, developers posts and github sources. Many the most professional coins are extremely underrated because they have long mining periods which pump and dumpers do not like. |

Many coins have took risks with PoS by now, and no major problem have been found.
Dogecoin's developper consider that using PoS might be a good idea no sooner than the 600000th block, so that's plenty of time for other coins to thoroughly test it really.
Is he considering switching to PoS exclusively? Or having two independant algos: one block goes to PoW miners, another goes to PoS holders? Would you please link to original source? |

It's nice when people propose ideas that dont involve them having to lift a finger. I dont think that we need to raise the funds to get one more name in to CINNI dev team. Thats why i answered like that. CINNI devs do a very fine job and you/we all should give them credit for that. I also dislike manipulating the price by involving new whale. Price needs to settle CINNI needs to spread naturally. There is no need for an artificial pump. CINNI price should rise because its a great cryptocoin. Not because a millionaire buys a large percentage of it. |

the only ONE who is playing or manipulating with you guys is a BOT, that is a machine that regulates the price for buying or selling the coins.
I dont even know if it is legal.
So you have to outsmart it to be able to get something more out when you sell.
Dont try it so stupidly like I and a bunch of others did. We just dropped the coins and lowered the price.
Sell it at the highest level only and then wait for a few minutes and the bot will give you again a higher sell price.
We all have been scammed.
And for non believers fell free to call me a TROLL if you then feel better.
I can give you my screenshots where you can see that I have no BTCs left to buy CINNI because I'm all in VRC/BTC.
You have no idea about cointrading do you? everybody who is trading for more than a week knows these bots are everywhere, as well as PnDer hopping on every coin rise. You bought in high in Cinni and now you sold at a loss and just bought in high in VRC.. that means you just became noobfood for experienced traders and are now going to be again. Search for a cheap coin with potential, send in your sockpuppets for fud, drive the price lower and lower, get the noobs to panicsell, buy rat cheap, fill your bags, go playing golf and sell on good news, thats how it works! Noone is fudding for a dead coin. I find it extremely funny that someone was surprised that bots are trading CINNI. Every single coin in Mintpal, Cryptsy, Bittrex and more is traded by bots! Our job is to outsmart them. Its easy enough if you think about it a little. |

Such pessimistic views...
I am much more optimistic even tho i am currently down by 35%. Plus im buying more and more every day until CINNI reaches a new high.
All i am saying is that be patient! There are tons of crapcoins on the market which will soon be forgotten. If you have patience, you will see CINNI reaching 20+K again - easily.
Do not need to make things complicated. 2 reasons why CINNI will hit new highs.
1. Innovation amount of this coin is certainly in top 10 of all altcoins.
2. Current market cap is ridiculously low for a coin which belongs in to top 10 of all innovative coins.
The reason why CINNI price stays low is because its highly centralized right now. This coin needs to spread in order to rise on market cap.
