All of my wallets, including the -QT and the Electrum Verge wallet have worked all along. There were issues after the fork (weeks ago), but that was because they disabled the previous versions and people were still using them. Try to calm yourself down a little bit. This isn't your personal rage forum. What makes you think a Dev (or anyone for that matter?) would care about you "raising a stink"? Get over yourself.
Things rarely fix themselves, and unless you upgraded the wallet (finally) or changed a setting (most likely), the Devs didn't pick your wallet and go "KAZAAAM!" and fix it.

actyually, they probably didnt even notice you yet. (dev wise)
it could have been the connection server was resetting etc.
like an email you send that gets there in afew seconds, or it takes an hr.
its oftne the isp thats the issue.
the transaction fee usually goes toward the Block chain network. (ie: Miners)
depending on the setup etc ofc.
ie: you paid ME, some dust, to confirm your coin send/recieve not the devs. they usually get paid via Donations. (to buy more software /hardware etc)
I dont know how the electrum/tor stuff works. havent checked. those setups might get some transaction fee.
More pithy excuses and guessed excuses of what could have been! Now I will tell you, I spent hours waiting for the wallet to synch. Then I tried a different device and once again the wallet would not connect! If Verge Developer Team is serious, then these sorts of failures are unacceptable! If you are serious about Verge Currency becoming a mainstream coin, which is used by businesses and the general public on a daily basis, then get the basics right first and foremost! Working wallets, which synch within 10 seconds! I waited hours, and both wallets only started working immediately after I kicked up a massive stink on this forum! Do not let this happen ever again. I use Coinomi, works great. (android)
tested Windows qt and it worked.
another user stated the windows electrum worked.
its one step at a time.
I used the electrum wallet yesterday... flawless and fast. I think people confuse their own shortcomings for issues with others. |

Mine works fine. Check your firewall as it may have been blocked. wait abit, for me it takes quite some time befor it connects but then it works fine. Certainly when i havent synced for a week or so. I have electrum wallet no need to sync.. its for windows, not the TOR the regular one.. . Also cant find that firewall blocks it. I'll look more Check to make sure it isn't blocked by your antivirus too. |

So far Suprnova.cc is the only pool I have mined Mona from. I have a great deal of respect for the entire Suprnova.cc pool system and have found it to be a very fair and reliable/stable pool.
I even read a blockchain report wrong and asked OCMiner about it. He was firm that I wasn't interpreting the information correctly and offered all the information verifiable on blockchain. This is a *great* bit of "customer support" and shouldn't be overlooked.
Btw, *yes*, I was completely wrong about my reading of the blockchain results. Thanks again OC!

Thanks. (and again, thats how I read what was going on) i am using the site. (its always been slow for me, so i didnt do alot there) but thats where i did most of the xvg and a few other coins (that at the time noone knew)  I never left much on their (or any exchange) tho recently i had quite a bit sitting on Cryptopia, and i was wondering about it...(3 weeks ago, all coins delayed on withdrawal) but eventually all showed up. only remaining issue there is also...xvg. (tells ya something right?) We need OUR act together. here... asap. remove all wallets...and add in only working tested wallets, for dl. add a seperate section for... complicated wallets. alot of ppl dont get it. Coinomi is easy and works. tested, well, it says my coins are there, and it synced. windows64 wallet easy and works. (tested myself a week or so back) anyone test any other, and know of Working wallet? i dont have linux wallet. I use both the the Windows-QT 64bit and the Electrum Wallet and both continue to work fine for me personally. I dont run a pool or solo from the QT, although I do have it setup and have tested it and it works. |

if they did what they said, and follow thru.
as i understand it:
They had a problem with wallet.
set all the xvg that users had into a token on their site. xvgt (whatever)
if you had 100 xvg, u have 100 xvgt... so far so good.
they set it so you could still trade it. but not deposit/withdraw.
Still fine.
Users traded it off, lower and lower, getting out of their position.
I dont see anything wrong yet.
Only problem would be... if they put up 1m xvg coins (dont know the number) they need to buy back those coins.
end of story. to me, at least they are trying. (again, thats basing it on what i understood previously. dont know any changes in news etc)
(when they are ready to buy back those tokens, it should be at the market value of XVG, and not xvgtoken)
that would be the only issue.

Hello Verge-team. Why is the cheater C-cex still on the Verge Homepage  . That's what I'm wondering too. XVG wallet has been on "maintenance" since December and the owner is running a scam with it, creating his own currencies (XVGCT). Conveniently he had a vacation just when this thing happened. I tried to withdraw my XVG before Christmas, I tried probably over 20 times overall, for many days. Every time it failed. He doesn't even only use XCGCT to buy our XVG with a market price. He also lets his users buy/trade this fake XVGCT coin, and the price is currently below 100 sats. I don't understand how this kind of fake and scam site can still exist in this community. C-cex should be shutdown for good, if we can't get our coins out. Yeah, something is wrong with this pool. Not only is it having tons of rejected shares, the share% isn't calculating properly. The pool was restarted, so shouldn't the share % also be recalculated? So far I'm contributing over 4% of the current hashrate but my share% seems to be stuck at about 0.25 - seems dodgy.

The all altcoin have all fall for long time, any new update for XVG now, I can't believe the price have fall from 1000 satoshi to 519 satoshi now.  There's plenty of news. Even a new youtube video (look a page back). You can't believe the price has fallen even though you say "all altcoin fall for long time"? Lol Price has been kind of stagnant though. Did we ever get a security audit? That's true. Stagnant right now is actually a better place than most coins though. Gaining position while others lose , even while sticking to about the same price is a good thing. |
