141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Free sports betting tip on: March 15, 2023, 06:23:12 AM
I agree soccer is more complicated with the act of 3 possible outcomes
I'll focus on the number of goals , corners and cards
That would be real awesome if you could find some time to give some tips about goals. (I missed your last pick.) I mean, it's easier as I also followed some tipsters in the Stake.com chat box sharing their overall goal for each game. I will be willing to put it in a parlay if I find it has a high chance to win.
I will add some Tennis tips as well
Would be looking forward to this being added too. I had my share of betting on that sport for a month now but I am just doing it blindly by betting on favorites. Maybe I could enhance my chance to win if I would see your own picks.
Here was the result of my last pick in tennis.

It's a long parlay actually with x16.42. My last win in that sport and after that, all are losses.

Yes, multi bets always have the greatest risks, but here you can also use a small amount compared to a single bet, but of course I prefer not to chase a large winning coefficient, since I have never heard of a large win in multi bets among my friends.
142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some of my big losses (Gamble Responsibly) on: March 14, 2023, 08:15:15 AM
Hi Guys,

A few weeks ago I posted my $417,000 win from a $300 bet (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5441169.0).

Since then I have received multiple private messages from people who are offering me money in exchange for betting tips and advice.

I am making this thread to address the above matter plus the issue of responsible gambling.

Firstly, I will NEVER ask for or accept money or payments from anyone on this forum. There is enough information, statistics and knowledge for free online that you should never pay for these services. Anybody who tries to sell you "tips" or "picks" is most likely a scammer who is only interested in taking your money. Do your own research/analysis online for free it really isn't hard at all.

Secondly, the amount of private messages from people I have received is crazy. There is nothing guaranteed in gambling and you can quickly put yourself in a financial predicament by trying to win large amounts of money fast. The most important things to remember when betting is to gamble responsibly and only bet what you can afford to lose. This amount is different for other people and if you are not betting within your means you are heading for disaster.

I feel like people only post their winnings and not their losses so I decided to show you the reality of sports betting below.
~

Indeed, gambling has two sides and it's good that you also touch on the presence of a loss as a natural process of the game. The fact that you won big does not mean that it will last for a long time and is also not a guarantee of winning for other players. when spreading your experience, I think this should cool some jackpot-hungry users from further dm's to you.
143  Economy / Gambling / Re: Freebitcoin.in on: March 14, 2023, 07:57:33 AM
I think most of the users using this site only for faucet, <...>

You are right, <...>

In terms of total numbers I don't know, but freebitco.in is an extremely profitable business. There are a lot of people who bet a lot of money on the site, otherwise it wouldn't work. They would have closed down long ago.

I think that the best faucet of all is the freebitcoin faucet and yes, in this faucet with patience it is possible to be able to play and withdraw without additional requirements.

A lot of patience is needed. If you only play the free game, you need to reach 0.0003 bitcoin to be able to withdraw, and currently it gives you 3 sats per spin, unless you win a big prize, which is unlikely and you can go months without it happening.

Well apparently now it's more complicated, I remember when they gave around 500-800 sats per hour, that was exciting, the truth is that for me freebitco.in is one of the best platforms that have ever existed and of course they should continue adding more players The freebitco.in exit has occurred because they have been very specific, they do not include many games because they know that they will ask for licenses and if they ask for licenses everything gets complicated, because there they are going to ask for KYC and a series of demands that nobody likes and there it will be at the level with the other casinos and it is not the idea.

Indeed, once it was really possible to use the Freebitcoin faucet, but at that time bitcoin had a low price and many treated it really more as entertainment than as a means of obtaining benefits. Now, although faucet remains on the site, it does not carry the same interest as before, unless of course you are damn lucky, then it is quite possible to use it.
144  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: March 14, 2023, 07:45:43 AM
Betting is between two people which is the player and fhe casino, and we already know the need for both the players.and the casino to get and understanding that when a play is either yoh win or you you lose one person will definitely get the rewards either the player or the casino so whatever what fhe outcome of this arguments is, it is clear that bo total loses in gambling on daily basis.
Casino always have a house edge so they are not losing in this case but when they have to pay you for any amount won that's loss for them but it's out of some other players pocket only.We are gambling after analysing all the risks but casino is here to run a profit making business so do you think loss would make them survive in the market?
casino is a money making machine mate , but of course all business has ups and downs and yes those wins that is largely taken will make them lose and of course if there are many lucky gamblers that comes in same time ? then yes they will fail in business this is why it needs a huge capital to stay in the gambling and make their way up.
though i know there are some that starts with not so big capital but mostly? then do have big amount.

But at the same time, we see that even obvious bets on the leader may not be predictable, and then a huge number of players simply feed online casinos with their losses, you can never be 100% sure about sports betting. So basically the casino still wins if it has a large number of users.
145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too harsh on user? on: March 14, 2023, 07:23:36 AM
Here in my country there're times when my IP address just suddenly changed even though I've been using my gadget at the same place, but it's still acceptable coz it's within the country. If ever I'd be subjected to that kind of ban, I would never ever visit that platform again, coz who knows maybe they'll find another fault and accuse my device for illegal usage of IP or worst is that it'll be banned as a VPN user.

I have heard lots of my neighbors boasting about using VPN on different sites, some are even using it to play on different online casinos, but I didn't hear them complain because of banning. So far most of them are complaining due to losing because of their tempers not because of IP related issues.

Just as the others are saying maybe the platform doesn't have that much good reputation if just because of that they'll ban you even if you show much credentials claiming that it is your very own account. I remembered back 2017, there was also an issue similar to this and that platform immediately lose their customers/users and some potential investors.
Change of IP address should not be a reason for banning a user, it's simple as that. If they suspect an account is being accessed by someone else from a different location than the usual, they should simply send an email to the original user to inform them that a new IP address has just signed in using his account, and that should be enough.

They should only freeze the account or the funds if the users requests them to via email if the account is compromised, otherwise, they don't really have to ban the user or confiscate their funds just because of an IP change, this definitely is harsh.

In most online casinos, the rules for creating and using accounts regarding ip addresses are clearly defined, which boil down to the following: you can create only one account from one IP, one computer (read MAC address), for one apartment, one house, one family. But let's say you decide to log in to your account using public wifi, then in this case you are using an address from which someone else could have already entered this casino with a very high probability. As a result, the casino administration will consider multiaccounting, bonus abuser, abuse of bonus programs, violation of the rules of use and terms of play at the casino and others. Which of course does not just give the casino the right to withdraw your winnings, moreover, it is obliged to do so, according to their own T&C.
146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fear of KYC requirements on: March 14, 2023, 07:07:48 AM
Have you ever seen a online casino website that displays, No kYC requirements or KYC requirement for **** amount of withdrawal before? And why won't any online casinos do something like this? I believe this is suppose to boost users and players confidence when they are about to try out new gambling platforms for the first time.

I believe this is still affecting online gambling platforms because this is one of the most common issues that online gamblers are still facing.

Well, first of all, on the contrary, the absence of mandatory KYC should alert the user and force him to conduct additional research on a platform that does not require KYC, although of course there is a gambling platform that has such a requirement.
Of course, the presence of mandatory KYC scares users, but on the other hand, it allows online casinos to meet the requirements for obtaining a license, no gambling institution will receive a license if it does not have a user verification requirement.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Metalottery.Win - Crypto Lottery 100% Decentralized on: March 14, 2023, 06:54:34 AM
Fair play and an exciting experience, without fee and risks. Metalottery built on smart-contacts and powered by blockchain protocol. Generated numbers based on a unique formula that impossible to be manipulated. It’s easy to play – if the digits on your tickets match the winning numbers in the correct order, you win a portion of the prize pool.
~

Welcome to the forum.
However, you do not accept bitcoin as payment and the thread will most likely be transferred to Service Announcements (Altcoins) after looking at the site in the leaders section, there is no way to check the validity of winnings since there is no way to view transactions, this seems to me to reduce trust if you have already started a conversation with fair play, also did not find the results of past draws.

148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌔 Moon.win - Web3 Dice game and gambling platform on: March 14, 2023, 06:19:43 AM
Welcome to the forum.
The web3 gambling platforms are actively developing now and yours looks attractive, but the rates in eth, as always, depend on the cost of the gas network, besides, your FAQ states that the bet is accepted only if there are enough funds in the contract, it would not be bad to have some banner indicating the current bankroll.
The most suitable for betting from the point of view of the minimum balance will be BNB, Matic and Tether, since in ETH, judging by the current bets, the minimum is ~ $43
149  Economy / Gambling / Re: NAKAMOTO ROULETTE launched today on: March 13, 2023, 10:54:31 AM
We just launched our new Bitcoin/Lightning LIVE Roulette Site - www.NakamotoRoulette.com

Would appreciate feedback and comments or anything else the community has to say Smiley

-- Nakamoto Roulette

Name looks so simple yet so good. A tribute to Satoshi, some may see it offensive though. Not every Bitcoin enthusiast is familiar with gambling and it may cause bad image for them.
My observations:
Fonts look too big. As if it was made large to be accessible for the disabled. Is it your choice? It doesn't look professional.
"ALL Players get an Affiliate Link Code to share which nets them a whopping 50% of GGR (Gross Gaming Revenue) monthly for the lifetime of all player accounts they introduce." Is this lifetime referral earning sustainable?
We can't watch live videos without logging in. Is it done on purpose?
And last, do you have a license or not? I couldn't see it on the website.

I don't think I have nakamotoroulette.com there is a license, which can be understood from the lack of KYC, and yes, of course you are right about the UI, which requires significant refinement to look more attractive. For example, after logging in to the site and launching the game, roulette is launched in a pop-up window, it seems to me that it would be more convenient to see it continuing on the main screen, since it makes no sense to expand the window with the game due to low video quality.

150  Economy / Gambling / Re: shame on the stake on: March 13, 2023, 10:38:52 AM

True, he can just whine or share his disappointment but he should not bad mouth or accused a platform of being a scam when the platform only did what they believe is the right thing according to the TOS.
Exactly what we should understand is that not everyone who is gambling know bitcointalk and it's just a few of us who happen to know the forum and at the same time are informed of the various behaviours of casinos and also their reputation,  a lot of cases have been resolved in the board and in reputation board, while it is important to support your case with evidence and if you look around,  cases that have proven evidence are easily resolved.

-But it takes time and luck for a casino to lose a case against players because they made the rules to favour the house that is why we are forced to read the terms and conditions of the casino before registering or depositing, stake.com have a good reputation around the gambling community and if ops have a clear case against them I am sure stake.com will be honourable enough to hand out the players cash out amount.

Or with this simple and baseless accusations, the casino's reputable is destroyed unless they gave to the players, on what they "think" is right in this case. Nevertheless, there is this kind kind of protection that casino need to put so that they will not be abuse by players as well. I'm not saying that the OP did it on purpose, but he might not be aware of the ToS and the protection that others and I have been saying based on our own experience. Those delays are needed as the results can change instantly.

That's why it's important that when anyone is accused, it must have concrete strong evidence, because if it's just a story, it will appear that only a well-known casino with a good reputation in this industry is doing Fud.

In addition to this, I rarely see complainants here in the stakes, so often in the end the accuser is not proven against it in the stakes.

Of course, no one will record on video everything that happens on the screen every time he spends time in an online casino in order to have all the evidence on hand, or you are not a star who is obliged to do it according to the contract, but it can also play in the opposite direction, in the case of OP, we really have just a story from the first person.
151  Economy / Gambling / Re: How succesful will AI projects be to win the house? on: March 13, 2023, 10:31:42 AM
I see most people seem to think that it is not possible to win the house, but what if the AI finds some kind of exploit and then give that as a answer to millions of people that are asking that question?
I am a human and I have spotted two flaws in casino slots (that I reported) ....but if the AI spots something, will it report it or simple do what it is designed to to... (namely to solve problems)
This makes for some interesting discussions.  Wink

I think that many developers know and use AI also to search for vulnerabilities, and if we take into account their awareness and experience, I think they are able to make a very specific and directed request, which is quite difficult for a simple layman. Smiley
152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A costly gambling mistake on: March 13, 2023, 10:24:20 AM
You have to look for the website FAQ and go through it first, I have seen some newbies that avoid doing this has they ended up shooting themselves in the foot.
Some even start spreading FUD on the forum about these gambling platforms that did them wrong, not knowing that they are the ones at fault, they are guilty because they don't read the rules and regulations.

For many online casino players, the welcome bonus on the first deposit may be of paramount importance and some ignore the other aspects of T&C, but we will only learn about any incident if payment is refused or blocked. Also, on many platforms, there is simply no FAQ section, where some questions are usually disclosed in more detail, but we still cannot say with certainty whether one or another T&C player read before starting the game, in many cases the online casino itself also abuses, moreover, the rules may not be static and may change by adding restrictions.
153  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: March 13, 2023, 10:11:43 AM
Argentina 🇦🇷 : Primera
Ind. Rivadavia vs Tristan suarez home to win full-time H-1 odd 1.99

Ghana 🇬🇭: primera league
Kotoku Royals vs Bechem United home to win or draw full-time

Well, one of the two predictions was successful, of course, the unexpected result of the match Ind. Rivadavia vs Tristan suarez, where a clear outsider in the away game won with a score of 3:1, which by the way had odds of about 5. But to bet in the matches of the Premier League of Argentina, of course, you need to know the current football life there, but sometimes betting on a clear favorite may not play.
154  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: March 12, 2023, 12:50:49 PM
Some people like taking free predictions from others while some don't like it but prefer using their money to subscribe for the service, the fact that gamblers in most cases often believe and have more confidence in what cost them their money than what comes in very cheap, that's why you could also see some organizations getting overrated because of the reputation they have on ground and their services are not as cheap compared to others, yet gamblers subscribe for them because they they have that name they have built with their reputation.
Yes mate, I understand what you are trying to say, but come to think of it, if you subscribe to a free predictions channel and you stick a bet their code and letter lost the game that will get you more upset than getting a predicted game without paying any fees.

In my opinion, each person should know how to analyze the games they intend to bet on, people should not depend on paying signal services and also should not depend on free signal services. We have to ask ourselves some questions:

1 - if a person is so good at making game predictions and gets it right, then why does that person need other people's money?

2 - Why is this person going to spend his time giving so many signs to so many people?

it is necessary to sit down and think about it, a person who has good results in betting, has money to live well and is not going to waste time with telegram channels, just think that if he bets 1000$ in a game with odds of @2.00 he will be right and you keep 2000$ and you just have to keep betting that in a few months you'll have a lot of money without needing other people's money

it takes time to analyze 1 game, so these guys from signals who give a lot of analysis, they simply look at the game and soon they already draw a conclusion and with that people lose money because they listened to them. people should be careful with this, make an effort to do analyzes by themselves

I don't think that many players will use this for their bets, many just observe and compare, and it may be as it usually happens, after some time the user who publishes his bets will be able to say that if you followed my advice, you would become richer, but people always tend to hope first of all for I am also annoyed at the fact that it was I who made the wrong choice myself, which is generally correct. But there may be another option, too, and forecasts can lead to losses, so everyone makes the choice for himself.

Argentina 🇦🇷 : primera b
Argentino merlo vs Ca Fenix home win full-time H-1odd 2.15
Sorry guys it's coming late, based on my domestic duties at my work place I didn't make up the preditions early 🕒 although it's a midnight game it will start by 00:00 o'clock, thanks for understanding.

Indeed, here the hosts of Argentino merlo confidently won 2-0. We can congratulate you on another successful forecast, especially with such a high odds. I just wonder why there was such a high odds for the victory of the hosts, because they occupy the third place in the table while Ca Fenix were in the last with 0 points, motivation?
156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Is for the strong. on: March 12, 2023, 12:28:03 PM
Gambling is for the strong and sturdy.
With this, I wondered if other person's here in the forum that are into gambling too has at any point in time thought or felt that way, particularly when the losses are becoming overwhelming. And in that case, should such person stop gambling and rather divert such monies into something else since he/she ain't making corresponding wins or more, checking his bet history, Or he should carry on with hopes that winnings will start creeping in someday gradually?

No matter how strong your desire to win a large sum in gambling is, always try to keep yourself in hand and not give in to false urges. I'm just judging by myself since I've never had big wins and just even if I use the available free funds for the game, it's just for fun.
157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High Risk, Big Win on: March 12, 2023, 12:12:36 PM
Some inexperience gamblers think that they bet big cause they will win big but are they ready for the consequence if ever they lose, things that experience gamblers warn them about lady luck is not always on their side. We bet $1,000 for now and if ever we lose we will lose that $1,000 for now and later on we will bet only $100 to get back that $1,000 do you think that is a smart move? No. We bet big all we have right now if ever we want to win it all, we have $5,000 right now we bet it all now.

Using your entire bankroll at once or dividing it into small bets is, as they say, a personal matter for every athlete, but by betting small amounts you can see in a longer period of time how your affairs are today in terms of possible winnings, maybe today is just not your day and betting everything at once in the hope of a jackpot you all you lose.
158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Street Gambling Risk on: March 12, 2023, 12:05:49 PM
I always pass by if I see that there is something like street gambling on the way, firstly, this place always attracts the attention of all kinds of scammers, and secondly, even if you win, it will be quite difficult for you to safely leave the place of the game, so it's better to stay away from it. After all, the organizers of this kind of gambling rely on income in any scenario, so such a risk is not justified.
159  Economy / Gambling / Re: How succesful will AI projects be to win the house? on: March 12, 2023, 11:59:56 AM
A bot that makes sports betting predictions, according to the author of the first video, it seems to me that it may well be a useful tool that makes it easier for players to bet on a possible winner, because not everyone is deeply immersed in the events of different sports and an extra analysis will always be useful.
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everything you wanted to know about Grayscale BTC Trust but were afraid to ask! on: March 11, 2023, 04:57:53 PM
Grayscale has distributed a transcript of the meeting of the  D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals on Grayscale's lawsuit against the SEC to challenge the SEC's refusal in an application to convert GBTC into a spot Bitcoin ETF. which took place on March 7, 2023. Oral arguments of the parties were heard at this meeting. Grayscale was represented by attorney Donald B. Verily Jr., a partner at Munger, Tolles & Olson, and Emily True Parise represented the SEC.

The main arguments of the parties:

The SEC stated that the refusal was intended to prevent the impact of fraud and manipulation in the spot market on CME futures, as well as the possibility of manipulation within the ETP itself.

Grayscale adhered to the opposite side and believes that we will not be able to determine that the ETP market for bitcoin spot will not have such a powerful effect on the price of the CME futures market and that in fact they completely contradict each other.

After both sides had been heard, Chief Justice Srinivasan announced that the case would be heard.

The transcript of the meeting is available here: https://grayscale.com/gbtc-litigation-oral-arguments-court-transcript/
