141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Polkadot Good For Future? on: May 15, 2021, 09:17:25 AM
Polkadot is better than Ethereum but Ethereum is more popular. As more and more companies/start ups learn about polkadot, it's adoption and use will increase.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will TRX go to new ATH on: May 15, 2021, 09:15:07 AM

143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? on: May 15, 2021, 09:10:27 AM
Bitcoin has often been proclaimed to be "digital Gold" since it shares many similarities to the precious metal we know and love today. Yet, not everyone find Bitcoin to be quite an attractive store of value. Despite Bitcoin and Blockchain tech's success, Gold is still used as a sort of "hedge" against inflation. Up to this point, Gold's market cap is much bigger than Bitcoin's. Things might change in the future if popularity continues at an upward trend.

This makes me wonder, which of the aforementioned assets are better as a long term store of value? Is it Bitcoin, Gold, or both? Why do you think such asset is better? Do you think at some point in the future Bitcoin will replace Gold? Or will Gold eventually adapt itself to the digital era (tokenization of Gold)? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much Smiley
I think it's time people stopped comparing btc to gold. There is absolutely no comparison except that both are valuable. Btc is a a currency and it is going to be global currency in future. You can not buy a ciggarette with gold because you can't have small fraction of gold to pay.
Btc can be broken into smaller pieces called satoshi and it can be used as money and store of value too.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good news for Nigerian crypto enthusiast on: May 15, 2021, 09:06:02 AM
I stumbled on this just today, am still yet to get further sources, but will be following the news round the clock, to see about the current unfolding of the news.
Source: https://www.today.ng/business/finance/cbn-nigerians-free-bitcoin-353492/amp

On the image above it has it that CBN the central bank of Nigeria, the Paramount government organization in-charge of banking, and finances, has permitted Nigerians to go on with cryptocurrency with out the restrictions the placed some weeks back, this is still uncertainty, but there has been meeting with the Nigerian Senate, and heads of CBN concerning the issue of Ban, also top public figures even the very elderly has supported Bitcoin in Nigeria, this makes me proud as to see how far Nigerians has come in cryptocurrency, Nigeria is a country with
+ Poor banking system
+ Poor payment system
+ Low alternative means for unemployed youths
+ The educational system is still poor.
But cryptocurrency as many Nigerians has realized helps less this problems of the nation and more, I would be even happier to see this news is fully true, and Nigeria has gotten love/encouragement from other cryptocurrency nation at a dark time for cryptocurrency in the country.
If true, this is going to be big news for Nigerian crypto community.
But their is one con also, if failed states like Nigeria adopt btc, it will give wrong message to people in developed nations.
It will be considered associated with failed nations just like it was previously assumed criminals money.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens??? on: May 15, 2021, 09:02:57 AM
Many of us were well known the Coinmarketcap from where we receive all cryptocurrency like coins and tokens details like on which exchange they listed, what is the 24-hour treading volume, or which platform they based on, etc. These days many new crypto coins and tokens was introducing and listing on many exchanges and It makes a very difficult decision for the investor to choose which coins or tokens should they invest to make some good profit. Many of the new cryptocurrency was makes a good pump in their stating days and after they dump in a very dramatic way. This cause a big loss to the investors and the trust in these types to new coins and tokens was finished. So, the main question is that Is it risky to invest in new crypto coins/tokens? or it is good for a very certain time of investment?
Can you name a safest investment? Which field you can recommend to invest in without the fear of loss?.
Yes crypto is highly volatile but it also means it gives high rewards too.
Investing in new coins is risky buy if you do proper research and luckily find some genuine project, you can make 1000x or more by investing in them during initial period.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shopping time guys. Fill your bags now. on: May 15, 2021, 09:00:07 AM
We have been thinking and waiting for a big big dip after watching markets going constant upwards. Now is the time you should buy your favorite alts and wait for their recovery, this is not a financial advice so do your research before buying anything and stay away from futures, so many traders got rekt few minutes ago. You can wait too if you think the markets are going to present more circus before the dust settles.
Yes it's buy time but where do we get money to buy lol? Those who have bought at peak can not put more money into crypto as they already have drained their savings.
This is the time for new entrants though. If someone wants to get in, he can buy now and make profit next month.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀💥🚀🚀 DECOIN :FIRST blockchain Profit Sharing Exchange platform 🚀💥🚀 on: May 15, 2021, 08:55:05 AM
There is still no profit sharing for Decoin token holders on the platform, right?
No not now. Once it is implemented, dtep will soar to moon.
Step has made some quick progress past few weeks. From $0.08 to $0.4. Decoin exchange is constantly making progress. Their dtrade has attracted lots of new users and investors to decoin exchange.
If they can speed up deposit and withdrawal issues, which normally takes 24 hours, I think decoin can soon become top 20 cmc exchanges.
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC and Illuminatis on: May 15, 2021, 08:45:13 AM
If they created it then they already have huge part of bitcoin, no need to invest when Bitcoin in at its peak. Even illuminati understand that they can't stop the adoption of bitcoin so they sre entering into the market now.
Who knows if they will actually buy it? Maybe it is just an announcement to create hype. They don't disclose their wallet addrss that holds btc.
All we know is from their words. No way to verify how much they are holding or how much they bought.
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Zuckerberg named his goat Bitcoin on: May 15, 2021, 08:38:12 AM
Just a fresh post on his Facebook profile. Mark Zuckerberg posts that he named his goats Max & Bitcoin.

https://www.facebook.com/zuck/posts/10112954515429031

No need to login, that's the actual link from his post.
I think this is his gimmick like Elon. He must be holding good number of Bitcoin that's why he wants to promote it in subtle way.
Who, even if he is a strong btc supporter, would name his/her pet after a crypto? Unless of course he wants to promote it.
Why didn't he name it Facebook instead?
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Question about internet computer coin on: May 15, 2021, 08:33:12 AM
What is internet coin?
Did he mean cryptocurrency?
.

No, there's a shitcoin with that name... the OP is just not literate enough to find the shitcoin boards.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/internet-computer/

Any reason for you to calling it a shit coin? I am not holder of this so do not assume I am promoting it. I am open to any good reasoning.
I am not trying to create FOMO and I expect no one try create FUD as well.
Let's stick to logic and reasoning here.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][IEO] MY IDENTITY COIN 🚀 IMMEDIATE LIQUIDITY🚀 NO LOCK-IN PERIOD on: May 15, 2021, 08:29:14 AM
MYID token is already on bittrex, but unfortunately I see if based on CMC there is only a very little trade volume, only 0.08% seen by this time. Is it mean XT.com is more user friendly than bittrex? seen as a favorite place for MYID holder.
In social media it's too quiet to track the progress, wanted to know where is the next place for launching MY IDENTITY COIN location? have you guys decided it?
Xt.com can manipulate volume figures. Bittrex is far better than xt.
Cmc may not be taking bittrex volume into account and this could be the reason of low volume.
Anyway it is just the beginning. As myid rolls out more progress and more exchange, volume will go up.
152  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotab Browser on: May 14, 2021, 07:58:25 PM
Is it really useful to use this app as your main browser or what can you guys suggest?
I didn't think you should take this risk if using lesser known browsers or apps particularly when you are a crypto user too.
We keep hearing of malware, virus, hackings etc. If you want to save yourself from all these mishaps, please don't use any unknown app.
Chrome, firefox and opera are good browsers.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Question about internet computer coin on: May 14, 2021, 07:48:41 PM
Internet computer coin is already making lots of buzz and has already reached among top 10 currencies on cmc chart in just two days.
It is the right time to buy it or will it see some correction in price? What, in your opinion, could be it's new ATH in next 3 months?.
154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC and Illuminatis on: May 14, 2021, 09:20:20 AM
There's a big possibility that Illuminati really is connected with Bitcoin and there was a lot of prediction that connects Bitcoin to Illuminati.

IMO, Illuminati isn’t bad.  They were just antagonized as they are against Christian and they're intelligent and against the manipulation of religions. 90% involved in organizations are oligarchies.  New world order is also not impossible to execute and we have to normalize it.  As it won’t really affect us negatively.  It’s just that, I hope if it is the case, they would consider the people they rule since then.

However, that's will remain a conspiracy, and in theory, there's no real fact.
I didn't say illuminati are bad but if they created btc, they must have created it to achieve their own goals and most of the btc must be in their possession which is not right.
They want to create new world order with one government and one currency, is this the real purpose of btc?
155  Local / India / Re: Planned Indian law on Bitcoin may give exit window to investors on: May 14, 2021, 09:17:56 AM
But most if us have participated in so many campaigns over past these years. It is impossible to keep track of all of them.
Also as you know how crypto trade works. We buy sell buy sell so many times that it is such a tedious job to get all that info.

You would have to worry if your redemption amount in one particular financial year is huge. This is because your bank is required to report any huge financial transaction or suspicious transactions to the government. Further, if a ban is imposed, government is likely going to take the information from exchanges (in India, at least) on your cryptocurrency transactions and take the details of redemption of any amount to your bank account from such exchanges.

Having said this, you need to worry only if you have done something illegal with cryptocurrency or have failed to pay taxes on your cryptocurrency income. If you have only participated in signature campaigns and your income is below the minimum threshold for taxation, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. The limit for taxation has been Rs. 5 lakhs for the past 3 years.

Further, in relation to getting the info on all the transactions, kindly note that the income tax department can seek information and recover taxes only up to last 3 years (as amended in Finance Act, 2021) if income that is escaping taxation is below Rs. 50 lakhs. Only if the income escaping taxation is above Rs. 50 lakhs the income tax department can seek information up to 10 years.

I hope you have been compliant with the laws and filed your taxes (if required to do so) and hence do not face any trouble. However, if there is any concern, feel free to let me know. I would be happy to help you out in a legal and ethical manner.

Thank you for this detailed explanation. I would like to know what amount would be consider huge to attract tax men attention?
No I haven't done anything illegal and I always file my ITR on time.
Though I never mentioned crypto in my returns I show all income earned as freelancer.
156  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Rate the Exchange based on your Experience on: May 14, 2021, 09:06:45 AM
Yes as most people here say binance is great but I have some good experience with Huobi too so far. They have quick deposit and withdrawal and high liquidity too.
I have not got any issue that needs me to contact their support so I have no experience with their customer support service.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum on the rise: Sell or HODL? on: May 14, 2021, 08:57:45 AM
It looks like Ethereum is on a non-stop road towards success as people keep pouring money into it like crazy. With several upcoming upgrades on the Ethereum blockchain, things will only get better for the native "Ether" cryptocurrency. Day by day, I'm tempted to sell all of my ETH holdings for profit. But some are saying that ETH will be worth $5k or even $10k in the future. This makes me wonder whenever now it's a good time to sell or continue "hodling" until ETH reaches the aforementioned price range.

If you were in my position, what would you do? Would you sell all of your ETH during the current bullish market? Or will you "hodl" and wait until it goes to $5k - $10k? Do you think ETH's current prices are sustainable? If not, why? Any suggestions, or recommendations will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley
Most eth have moved from exchange to private wallets. That means many big whales now planning to hold eth for long duration. This is the time to hold as eth is improving fast on technical front and is being widely adopted by various business.
I would not sell before $10k
158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what do you guys use bitcoin for? on: May 14, 2021, 08:55:32 AM
Are you guys currently using bitcoin to make payments or making purchases with bitcoin? maybe for invest only? I'm just wondering if bitcoin  will recover from that tesla did.
I usually prefer to hold it but if I have to buy some good or service online and they accept btc, I happily make payment in btc.
Btc was created for a means of payment and not for holding. Btc real use is like a money and not like gold. In other words it is digital money not digital gold
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have 1000 usd , where to invest , on: May 14, 2021, 08:52:48 AM
Dot and Ksm are the best investment opportunities right now. Though ksm is bit pricey and it should be bought under $400 but on long term it can give good returns.
Dot is very cheap at $40. Imagine you missed the opportunity to buy eth at same price. Now you have this opportunity again.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any good recent bounty campaigns? on: May 14, 2021, 08:50:04 AM
My current bounty campaign has paid me every week on time and the best part is tokens are listed on digifinex. It has good volume too. So if you are looking for altcoin bounty campaign that pays every week and token with liquidity, join it.
Few slots still available.
