321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you in panic whenever there is a big drop in price? on: March 30, 2021, 08:29:41 AM
I'm sure everybody have checked and saw the big drop -18.8% in 24 hours to be exact and keeps going down, we don't know if it will go further and so are the other top coins in the market, are you in panic, nervous that the market is bleeding like this, or do you accept this as part of the market movement, what kind of trader are you
There was a time in my early days in crypto when every drop, even minor one, got me panicked but now after spending years involving with crypto, I don't get panic at all.
Particularly now that big institutional buyers and business houses have started getting into crypto, I have become more confident and look price fall as an opportunity to buy more.
There are so many good crypto coins that are in their infant stage and how I wish I could buy all of them.
322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Visa to embrace crypto by launching a pilot program on crypto payments on: March 30, 2021, 08:25:36 AM
Here's some positive news.

Visa enlists onto the crypto supporter group by allowing payment settlements using cryptocurrency.

Source here: https://www.reuters.com/article/crypto-currency-visa/exclusive-visa-moves-to-allow-payment-settlements-using-cryptocurrency-idUSB8N27V00M

While this is a pilot study, it seems that Elon's influence as well as other major finance firms like BlackRock Inc and Mastercard Inc is really making an impact.

I wonder which major firm/company will be next to realise the power of crypto  Huh Huh Huh
Gone are the days when crypto was considered untouchable and even blockchain was not accepted.
Now many major business companies are not only adopting crypto and blockchain but they are heavily investing in them too.
Some of the major names that have already into blockchain/crypto are :
De Beers
Foxconn
Amazon
Baidu
BMW
Broadridge
These are only few names, you can find full list here https://www.forbes.com/sites/michaeldelcastillo/2020/02/19/blockchain-50/?sh=5549332c7553
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you were me , Do you buy this coin ?? on: March 30, 2021, 08:12:15 AM

Hi , As my hobby im searching on new projects , So this time i found a Low risk project among 15 new projects . They have a Ann thread on bitcointalk --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5286191.msg55504061#msg55504061

Im telling as "Low Risk"  because they have provides every thing clearly with the videos  , And they have NO ICO . What do you think ? shall we comment on that thread if you have any doubt on this project , then it will be helpful for others as well.
I looked at your post history and found you mostly post about new lesser known projects. You always mention their website or ANN thread links in your posts.
I have a feeling that you are in some ways promoting them rather than asking genuine question.
For example, you could have asked this question in the same ANN thread that you gave link of but you prefer to ask here with ANN link so that you can direct traffic to their thread.
324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I went big into Bitcoin and Ethereum... on: March 29, 2021, 10:16:01 PM
Hello Gang,
New guy here.
About 2 weeks ago I purchased $50,000 of Bitcoin and Ethereum thru Coinbase.
It's all sitting in the Coinbase wallet with a 2 step verification to get access.

I just ordered a Trezor 1 cold wallet. Might take a few days to get here.
How safe is the Coinbase wallet for holding my stuff?
I've read that their site is actually very secure.

Thanks for any info!

Not just coinbase but no exchange or online wallet is safe when it comes to holding your crypto.
Since you have already ordered Trezor, move your coins on to it as soon as it is delivered to you.
Till then you can keep your coins where it is but don't leave them there forever.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best stable coin when selling crypto? on: March 29, 2021, 10:11:09 PM
USDT or BUSD? I never really sold and withdrew any crypto before. Just wondering what most people do on here when selling and tranfering to their bank accounts.
I prefer USDT because it is widely accepted, almost all exchanges accept it, and it is available on different blockchains too.
I mostly use Trc20 usdt because of zero fee. Even exchanges deduct very low fee while withdrawing TRC20 usdt.
I haven't used busd to sell or buy crypto but I am sure many will agree with me that usdt is the preferred stable coin.
Even binance has low liquidity for busd.
326  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: MONERO.CX | MONERO AND BITCOIN SWAPS | FAST | NO LOGS | CHEAP on: March 29, 2021, 10:06:22 PM
Low fee, no kyc requirement, fast conversion. These all are the features that makes monero.cx best exchange available.
I am really fed up of doing kyc as it runs the risk of losing your important personal data if exchange get hacked or it is sold by exchange.
Minero.cx will set an example for other exchanges too and they will also reduce their exorbitant fees.
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Polkadot going to Kill Ethereum? on: March 29, 2021, 10:01:50 PM

Hopefully that will happen, polkadot will continue to grow and be able to compete in the market and dominate at a good price. but we need to know together that Ethereum will not be defeated by any Altcoin. Ethereum will still be the 2nd digital currency after Bitcoin
Everything is possible in crypto though, ETH surely have massive market capital as of now even far surpasses those coins that are below #2 but isn't it good if there happens to be competition between ETH and other coin that could compete while having quite close market cap, if that happens we definitely won't see eth blockchain being too overflowed with all the transactions and the upcoming developers who wants to create token some of them could go to ETH's competitior.
I think institutional buyers prefer eth. Also when it comes to selecting blockchain, Ethereum is the preferred one by many established business. Recent Visa moves is manifestation of ethereum's popularity and it's wider acceptance.
No doubt Polkadot is also a good option but it has a long way before it catches you with ethereum.
Eth 2 will further accelerate ethereum adoption.
328  Other / Meta / Password Visible Option on: March 29, 2021, 09:56:52 PM
I suggest forum should enable option to view your entered password while login. Sometimes we just have bad fingers and mistype our password. Option to view password will save us from several attempts due to mistyped password.
Or is there any way to do it?

330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I quit smoking and buy Bitcoin every week on: March 29, 2021, 08:40:19 AM
Hey folks,

I decided to quit smoking today and buy Bitcoin every Sunday. A pack of cigarettes I smoke is $10. It cost me $70 per week. So every Sunday, I will buy Bitcoin without checking if the price went up or down. Even if it goes to the moon, I will keep buying. I will edit this post frequently in the future. This Sunday I will start investing $70 in Bitcoin every  Sunday. I will keep this doing as long as possible and let's see what is going to happen.

I believe that at least I will invest in something that I believe, instead of wasting money on unhealthy cigarettes. Maybe some of you can do the same.

Wish me luck Cool

Week  Date Bitcoin Price   Amount Of Bitcoin
1 13.12.2020      $19.176      ฿0,003650
2 20.12.2020      $23.429      ฿0,002987
3 27.12.2020      $27.483      ฿0,002547
4 03.01.2021      $32.850      ฿0,002130
5 10.01.2021      $39.820      ฿0,001757
6 17.01.2021      $35.300      ฿0,001983

Thank you all for your support guys. 1. Week I bought 0,003650 BTC. Even the last 2 days it was cheaper, I waited until Sunday to buy. Rules are rules. I edited my post and let's see what is going to happen.

Btw, to be honest, I couldn't stop smoking completely. But in 3 days I only smoked 5 cigarettes in total. I smoke cigarettes for 10 years. I quit smoking for 1 year before. So I can do it again. Probably I will not smoke more. I feel better now.

I followed Allen Carr's famous Easyway to Stop Smoking method to quit smoking before and in my opinion, it's the best way I have ever tried. I am sure it will work again. For smokers I can recommend this method.

edit: I converted € -> $ to evaluate easily. I invest $70 weekly.
This is awesome decision by you and I hope other smokers will follow it.
Smoking kills you while BTC will make you rich. Your small investment today will give you big returns tomorrow and you will be more happy when you will look back at your decision.
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking is not for Muslims on: March 28, 2021, 06:53:19 PM
I as a Muslim do not really understand the law of staking but staking is like regular savings in a bank and you get annual interest, so in my opinion it's safe
You say staking is like regular annual interest in bank yet you think it is safe.
Don't you know interest is haraam in Islam and Muslims should not involve themselves into anything related to it?

333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking is not for Muslims on: March 28, 2021, 08:57:40 AM
Staking coins has been with us for many years, why now OP is a hero member he knows this for several years what is the motive behind this, he should have posted this three or four days ago when staking is very popular, and his explanation sounds vague, we need a good scholar who will tell us if what OP is saying is really true and really according to Muslim teaching.
Lol just because I didn't post something earlier means my intentions are bad?
There is no ruling by any scholar on staking yet, if tomorrow someone gives some ruling, will you counter him by saying same thing that staking has been with us for many years why you giving ruling now?
Actually many if you fear losing your income that's why you don't want to accept it as interest and give all baseless reasons to differentiate between two.
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][IEO] MY IDENTITY COIN 🚀 IMMEDIATE LIQUIDITY🚀 NO LOCK-IN PERIOD on: March 28, 2021, 08:53:48 AM
Here is their new token address https://etherscan.io/token/0x5273063725a43a323300c502478c22fbb4e92c2d
Currently only have 92 token holder, still not many. I really hope that token holders can increase over time by adding it to an exchange, even though it's just a small place.
Once bounty and airdrop participants get paid, we will see lots more token holders.
Let's hope they don't dump if myid coin get listed on ant top exchange as the founders claim.
I believe this is not going to happen and eventually myid will get listed on some B tier exchange with low liquidity.
Ahh okay, I missed it. Certainly has a lot to do with it. If it's about dumps, can't really say anything. Since after listing there will be 2x 5x or 10x base price, it might give bounty hunter an idea to hold it a little long.
I would say, stay positive about it, they will definitely make an effort to be listed on the tier A exchange.
The problem is listing is not yet done and where you get such information if the token will be traded around 2x, 5x or even 10x from the ico price?
is not it the price will be determined by the demand to the token that will meet the supply?
The liquidity on uniswap gets removed and what about that?
I have been telling this for a long time. This project seems a bit suspicious. The founder gas nothing to do buy making big claims on telegram and here on this thread.
He is using "Top 10 exchange listing" bait to get more funds.
Most genuine projects concentrate more on project development instead of listing announcements.
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will TRX go to new ATH on: March 26, 2021, 07:07:06 PM
The way Tron is been hyped when it was created newly, I thought by now the price will hover around $2 than the present price which is around 0.05cent. The Crypto sphere is about to be struck by a bearish market and we are yet to see the ATH of Tron.
It's very devastating seeing the price of Tron this low after following the footstep of ethereum
With introduction of definitely on tron, it's price will shoot up for sure.
My guess is by the year end trx will be half a dollar.
Although many new blockchains, are giving tron a tough competition I am sue tron will survive.
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking is not for Muslims on: March 26, 2021, 07:03:48 PM
Staking in crypto is like interest in Fiat.
You lend (stake) your crypto and get reward (interest) for it.
I suggest all my Muslim brother to stay away from this new kind usury.
I am quite astonished with what OP has mentioned in this thread. So you are saying if you earn profit on your investments it is sin in Muslim culture? As many have mentioned how do do banks operate in Muslim regions as they are engaging in earning direct interest from customers which is not the case with staking as it is different concept. So you need to inquire first about what you are writing and then gave such comments as everyone wants to earn and if they are earning in any legit manner it is good until they are not hurting someone's sentiments.
Profit on investment is allowed but lending money and earning interest on it is not.
If you invest in some ico/ieo and the projects share it's profit with its token holders, it is absolutely fine.
Staking is different. It's not investment, it is lending.

338  Economy / Speculation / Re: Looks like India is perhaps serious about banning cryptocurrency on: March 25, 2021, 08:53:16 AM
India will not be serious about baned bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, they are a developing country, such rules are stupid rules, because the nature of cryptocurrencies is decentralized, so no one can regulate cryptocurrencies, I have friends in India , that the news is just fud to drop the price of bitcoin, so be careful if you want to take action from the news.
Indian market share is not that big to cause any bug price fall. Last time too when ban news was out, BTC was booming. Even Indians were busy buying more BTC.
See Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell News has caused the recent fall in BTC price.
339  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy every dip, and HODL! on: March 25, 2021, 08:45:12 AM
It's time to buy. I have been waiting for this. We won't get second chance to buy again. This dip is a boon in disguise. My funds are ready but I am in dilemma which alt should I buy?
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking is not for Muslims on: March 25, 2021, 08:40:36 AM
Well does it means that Muslims don't do business and make profits on they goods, because I don't see why it is forbidden that getting interest on you asset is a sin before God. Let be careful as not to misinforme our self's.
Profit and interest are two different things. Since you are unable to distinguish between two, you don't have any right to comment.
I created this thread to inform Muslims about staking. If it is not related to you, better avoid posting.
