421  Local / India / Re: Who increased their crypto portfolio in the name of "Crypto Ban".. on: February 08, 2021, 09:12:38 PM
First of all, I hope you all are safe and fine in these troubled times, wear masks and keep a safe distance while traveling from public transport(Except when you are in a state transport bus or local trains coz we all know that's impossible..  Roll Eyes).

So I wanted to ask who all bought Bitcoin and ETH when it was down because of the "Crypto Ban" hoax.
I don't think anyone sold their crypto because of this coz if you are here on this forum then you will know these types of things are to create fear among the holders.

Personally, I had put orders on 85k and 90k for ETH 1 day before the Budget speech, and both got executed. Lucky me I guess.

Hopefully, Greyscale will increase their ETH holdings every day, and let's see ETH at 5k$ soon..  Grin
Only fool sell in haste. Even if ban bill was passed, we still would have some time to sell our cryptos. People panic and take stupid decision that they later repent.
Lesson learnt for these guys who panic and start selling. You should have patience and wait till it actually happened.

423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Fuse.io - Live use cases in 10 countries on: February 08, 2021, 09:01:19 PM
hello everyone, maybe I missed a lot of information about the FUSE project, what I want to ask is, is the fuse token currently listed on the exchange? apart from uniswap, have there been other trade openings?

here the lists of exchange to trade Fuse.io my friend
there is two exchange besides uniswap depends on coinmarketcap
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/fuse-network/markets

I have a few FUSE tokens in my personal wallet, but I am not too zinc about trading on dex, to swap alone I have to pay a lot of transaction fees ... but I am quite happy when the fuse price goes up slowly, and hopefully the team plans to register the token FUSE on the exchange
I think it is already available on exchange. I am following fuse on Twitter since the time I participated in their bounty campaign.
I find it to be very interesting project and I hope it will make to the top 50 cmc projects soon.
424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OMG !!!!! You BitCoin people were right. I wish I had bought back in March :( on: February 08, 2021, 08:24:55 AM
Don't worry, you're not the only one who experienced the same and feel regret because of the action that they did way back March.
Many investors also didn't bought at the bottom probably because of the doubts that is on their mind like "Bitcoin will not recover anymore" or "This is the start of the Bear Market" etc.

I myself didn't bought last March too not because I doubted it but because I don't have any funds to buy and I feel a bit of regret because of it and adjusted to that too that is why I'm always saving cash so that I can buy when Bitcoin went down again although I don't expect that it will go all the way to $3-4k again, at least I can buy at a lower price.

Now people are aware of this 4-year cycle, when Bitcoin undergo correction and then rebounds. Given these facts, I am skeptical on whether we will get the same level of correction that was witnessed during 2015-16 and 2018. Those who can hold on to their coins for 3-4 years will try their best not to sell them. So I agree with this post. Even if there is a correction, I don't expect the prices to fall to four-digits.
It is never late to buy btc. I have always believed that if you have funds, don't wait for dip, just buy it.
You may have to hold longer to get profit but  you will eventually get it. Trat btc as long term investment.

426  Local / India / Re: India Banning Cryptos on: February 07, 2021, 08:24:15 PM
Right. This will instill fear in everyone mind. Only real criminals would want to hold Bitcoin once ban is introduced. This is not the right decision by government buy then this regime is known to make laws which are against common man.

And why do you think that ?
If the Government introduces a bill/law or any rule, it doesn't mean it is always right. There are times when the Government may implement a new law but eventually has to change it.
And even if the Government takes the decision of banning cryptocurrencies, I will still be holding on to my cryptocurrencies. It does not mean I am a "Criminal".
It only means I believe in the technology. I might not use it though, but I will definitely hold it until the Government changes its opinion about cryptocurrencies (at some point of time it has to)
It's just a matter of perspective.
Technically you will be criminal by breaking a law. That's what point here is. Government is making all crypto lovers criminal by passing a law that will only harm the country and take it backwards.

Can't believe how can someone be so stupid. I feel sorry for that person loss but they should have read all details on how to purchase before making any payment.
Anyway it shows how much interest myid has garnered among crypto community.
hahaha maybe he is someone who is new to money and has no experience in crypto but he is trying to invest in an ICO, but if the team is able to verify tx then he will not lose anything

Yes possible but anyone with little knowledge should be careful with his money.
It is not possible for team to send back his funds as deposit address on binance is different than sending address.
429  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [FAKE]Stay Away From Big Pump Signal Groups on: February 07, 2021, 12:03:53 AM
It pains me to see people still losing hard earned money to lazy scammers especially these crypto newbies looking for a quick way to make easy money. There is nothing like free money anybody offering you a huge profit is fake do not trust, anything money is the hardest thing to make and to multiply. The new trend now is pump and dump signal groups surfacing everywhere on the net.

Lol this is one of their cheap but smart way to get you scammed, they canceled a pump signal a few minutes away for them to be able to accumulate the coin they will pump as much as they could, pump the next day, and dumped you in, as you are pressing the BUY order they are pressing the SELL order  Grin.

This story should inspire you to keep off the pump signals group.he lost almost $60k in less than 20mins.

I got into cryptocurrency a few months back. At first, I didn't know anything about crypto but decided to invest some money. Lucky for me, I invested money in quality coins and I got a big return over months. Then I decided to bring in $100k into crypto a few weeks back. But this time I did my own research and was very careful in what I'm investing. As a return, I made $60k profit in 3 weeks. Then I found out about #BigPumpSignal group and entered into their Telegram and Discord group. (The stupidest decision I have ever made!)I researched about coins for hours and get to know their potential, but I don't know why I didn't search much about this group. So as of 31st Jan, they pumped $PNT but I didn't join this. But they were able to pump it up to more than 1000%. I got excited. I didn't go much into $PNT graph as I thought it's obvious that I can make a lot of money with this pump. The next pump was scheduled on 2nd Feb but got postponed to 3rd Feb. This time I decided to invest my $60k profit and I just want to double it. The time came, I invested in less than 10 seconds after received the message about the coin (it was $sky coin). Then I realized in less than a minute, it was dumped completely. I thought I bought in for cheaper price, but when I checked, the price I paid was near the peak. My $60k went to less than $10k in seconds. I waited a few seconds, and it kept on decreasing. I pulled out. I regretted my decision. Tbh, I am actually a person who researches about coins and decide to #HODL some coins for the long term.

N/B: please stay away from quick money looking for quick way to riches might drag you to the mud.

If you are in some crypto related group, you will see lots of these spam messages. I don't understand who trust them. If they were making so much money, why would they go in all groups and start spamming?
They are just cheaters and everyone should be very careful of them.
430  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't be surprise to see price of btc drop this week on: February 07, 2021, 12:01:08 AM
I'm seeing with the way the waves has gone and the closing of last week and month, the price is going to drop taking off close to $4,000 from the current price. This maybe a major correction.

With this happening last week and market situation for the first day of the week and month, we may look the downside to $31,523

So now BTC is trading at above $40k. I am glad you were wrong. These charts never give any accurate info and if they are not accurate, why trust them?.
I don't trade much but whenever I do, I trust my intuition only and most of the time it is right.
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Selling Trust Wallet with Funds on: February 06, 2021, 11:53:05 PM

Anyway are you only dealing with Green Trusted account? sorry i have no green but interested in your twt. though there is no way that there's a dealing between so Goodluck .

I can deal with Non Green Trusted account too if they willing to send first.

Is this still on?

but this is the hard part if Both buyer and seller are both not trusted and the amount is Cheap , both are seeking if whom to go first.

but let me know if this is still on and let's see what comes out.

Yes the offer is still on but I can go first only with trusted person.
No offence but you are not trusted hence you have to go first if you are interested.
It is also fair because amount is low and my forum rank is higher than yours. I won't spoin it for few dollars
432  Local / India / Re: Updates on crypto ban bill on: February 06, 2021, 11:30:24 PM
India Minister Suggests Modi Government Not Planning Outright Crypto Ban.

The Indian government has hinted how it might move to regulate cryptocurrencies rather than an outright ban.

Talking in the nation’s upper house, the Rajya Sabha, Tuesday, a minister specified that the aim would be to curb illicit cryptocurrency transactions and bar their use in payments.

“The government does not consider cryptocurrencies legal tender or coins and will take all measures to eliminate use of these crypto-assets in financing illegitimate activities or as part of the payment system,” Minister of State for Finance Anurag Singh Thakur said during a question and answer session.
This is positive if this is true. I would like to know the source of this news though.
I also have the feeling that government may not ban btc out right as it doesn't fall under the definition of private currency.
But if they do consider all non government issued crypto as private, then this should be challenged in court.
Positive or negative depends on the way you spin it. Here is the NDTV report with the Q&A between MoS(Finance) and a Shiv Sena MP.

You are right that Bitcoin is not a private cryptocurrency. The ambiguity is whether the Govt is talking about Public crypto as sort of "Publicly owned"/ Govt owned while calling everything else Private. Colloquially, in India, thats the usage. I don't think our colonial hungover overlords would like anything other than pure Govt power to be called Public Service. The IAS cadre officers love to call themselves "Public servants". So, take a hint.

I think this comes after a lot of P2P companies have started giving loans used findings in form of Bitcoins. It not only evades taxes but also makes monitoring of liquidity in this sector very difficult.
Yeah I suppose the politicians don't want to kill their cash cow that the informal loan sector comprising of thousands of these local "co-operative credit societies" are for them. With their control over such semi-formal groups, the chance to obtain money must be far easier than if those people start turning to cryptocurrencies for loan requirements. Its a win-win situation for the common trader but the politician doesn't get his cut.
The more i look at it this way, the more i am sure that the community will have to fight tooth and nail in the courts.

Big exchanges like wazirX, zebpay etc must take this initiative. They should lead us as their voice will be heard.
I know they are also following the developments closely and will do their best as they have business at stakes but given past record of this government, they should be more pro active.
They are doing their bit. It's time we as community should support them wherever possible and in whatever capacity.

Thank you @KryptoKings for sharing this link. I have done my part and I urge other members who are active here to do the same. As a community, we have overcome many hurdles in the past and hopefully, we will be able to overcome this one too.
Welcome bro and thank you for taking time to do it. I heard government is now planning to bring ordinance to ban crypto. They may not be able to present bill during current session so they will introduce ordinance to ban it.
They will present bill in next session.

Hello,

Recently there was a purchase of MYID Coins from a binance account. DO NOT purchase MYID Coins from a binance wallet or any other exchange wallet!  You will likely NOT be able to retrieve coins from a binance or any other exchange ethereum wallet address unless binance adds our coins to their exchange or it was binance themselves that made that purchase.   AGAIN, PLEASE USE METAMASK OR MYETHERWALLET OR TRUST WALLET.  Do not use an exchange ethereum wallet address unless you are the OWNER of that exchange.
Can't believe how can someone be so stupid. I feel sorry for that person loss but they should have read all details on how to purchase before making any payment.
Anyway it shows how much interest myid has garnered among crypto community.
434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Appeal to Everyone to secure your future on: February 06, 2021, 07:52:54 PM
Bitcoin today is all time high and most of us would have some bitcoin or satoshi with us. Many people would sell the bitcoin at these high prices and mostly new people who do not have bitcoin will still not buy bitcoin because they think bitcoin prices are too high.

I would like that all of us who do not have bitcoins, should buy $200 worth of bitcoins , keep it in some wallet and forget  it. In five to ten years time you will thank me about this investment. Maybe most of the people will have their good retirement life if they just invest $200 worth of bitcoin today.

Please also pass this message to all your near and dear ones. You never know in 10 years time 1 satoshi may be worth 1 dollar.
Good advice but why buy it just once? I would suggest buy small amount every month or whenever possible for you to buy.
I don't suggest to put all your savings into Bitcoin or take loan to buy it. That would be foolish but just a small portion of your income. Keep buying btc and you will not know when it will make you rich Wink

Failing to reach our soft cap will not stop our project.  We do have investments committed from large investors to proceed with our listing and marketing plans.  There will be more large investors funding that will be coming in over the next 10 days.
we will be making on our website.  Please check  our website updates on Monday February 8th.

Partnerships, conferences, powerful additions to our team and news about our International Service Centers in USA!!!
Only these words make me amazed and trust the team if they really want to make this project a success, but if I can know, will the funds be obtained from private investors? the rest I will wait for 8th February
Yes this indeed is a big statement. Not many projects make such claims during ico/ ieo.
But the fact that myid team member made this claim and has openly invited everyone to verify this on blockchain speaks volume.
8th February is not too far guys. Let's keep an eye out
437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Employees can get salary in Bitcoin in Miami on: February 04, 2021, 08:59:08 PM
As the world is now witnessing the rise of Bitcoin in both terms growth and price many big institutions and government are recognising the need of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in their system. The Miami mayor Francis  Suarez said that Miami city employees could soon choose to get paid in Bitcoin rather than in USD as salary because he wants to expand the Bitcoin adoption throughout the city.

Crypto enthusiast and experts like CEO of twitter Jack Dorsey are calling it a smart move as they what impact it will have on growth of Miami city:

The persons, institutions, governments with wide prespective who know what financial payment system will work in future are already making rules and regulations to adopt Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies along with blockchain technology to stay ahead in future with economic becoming strong of nation.

Cointelegraph

What are your thoughts about this?

This is just amazing. I wish I was living in Miami or working there. I hope other countries will take a leaf out of Miami's book and start doing this.
BTC is soon going to become world currency.
438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Bangladesh! on: February 04, 2021, 08:33:39 AM
Bitcoin is not recognized in Bangladesh, in a word, it is banned.  The Central Bank of Bangladesh Bangladesh Bank has not legalized the use of this currency in the country.  The central bank said the transaction could violate anti-money laundering and anti-terrorism financing laws.

Bangladesh Bank also issued a notification in December 2016 warning the people of the country about bitcoin.  It said that bitcoin is being traded in the country using various websites and social media, which is not approved by any regulatory body.  The use of these virtual currencies is not supported by the Foreign Exchange Control Act 1948, the Anti-Terrorism Act 2009 and the Prevention of Money Laundering Act 2012.  As a result, there is a risk of financial loss to the people.
That's nothing new. Many countries do not recognise btc as legal tender and we should not have any problem with that as long as they do not ban it's storage, trading and mining.
Btc can be used as store of value like gold.

Mrs. Walker-Lightfoot was pivotal in the arrest and jailing of Bernie Madoff, the former NASDAQ chairman and criminal who led the biggest ponzi scheme in history.
This is real ? where can I confirm that he is actually on this project team? If this is real it means success for this project is in sight

Hello,

Our website will be updated Friday to reflect the addition of Mrs. Walker-Lightfoot to our team.   She will be leading the legal counsel for our USA operations.

www.okglobalcoinsg.com

Joining the team of such respected person as Mrs. Walker-Lightfoot is definitely a very big enhancement to the project. Congratulations!

However, I hope that the project will develop faster than when you add a photo and some text on the website .. A week? Really?   Wink Cheesy

Yes... there are some other big announcements that we will be making the same day.   That is the reason for the delay.
I am constantly keeping an eye on development and progress of this project. Roughly 21 days left to end ieo, what if you fail to achieve the soft cap?
Will you explore other options and continue with project or abondon it?

Hello,

Our project will be announcing a minimum of two new large top exchanges for the public listing date scheduled for March 25th, 2021. Failing to reach our soft cap will not stop our project.  We do have investments committed from large investors to proceed with our listing and marketing plans.  There will be more large investors funding that will be coming in over the next 10 days.  This funding will be able to be verified on etherscan. We are launching our global guerilla marketing campaign in the next 2 weeks.  We have several very exciting announcements that we will be making on our website.  Please check  our website updates on Monday February 8th.

Partnerships, conferences, powerful additions to our team and news about our International Service Centers in USA!!!
