BNB has now officially reached its new ATH against BTC (1 BNB = 0.0026888 BTC). Nice work, CZ! Binance’s BNB Token Hits All-Time High in Bitcoin Valuehttps://www.coindesk.com/binances-bnb-token-hits-all-time-high-in-bitcoin-value~snip~
I never recommend buying because at any time that could be wrong. And of course, the price went up quite a bit lately, so a correction could be near. But I, for myself, think longterm. My reasons to be bullish are...
1) the fundamental reasons listed in my last post and 2) if BNB is so strong during a shaky bear market I consider it as very good longterm bet, once the market turns and the sentiment becomes better again. We've seen Ethereum at a marketcap of over $120 bn.
And I believe the Binance Chain will be superior - while it will not be about Smart Contracts, it will exactly be about what has lead Ethereum into a hype --> Issuance of Tokens. And I also believe that will become much more serious and professional in future, while Ethereum will probably not be the number 1 Blockchain to go anymore, but Binance-Chain - also because of their coming DEX.
Long-term, I believe it can reach brand new all-time-highs (in USD) easily. However, even for a long-term hold, I do think that that it'll be much better if you wait for the right time before investing in it at the current price (which is actually an all-time high vs. BTC). It'd be more appropriate if we wait for a correction here. Let the price calm down, to somewhat like <0.0019 BTC, that way, you'll get about 25% more BNB if compared with the current price. I'm not so sure that BNB will go down that much. CZ just tweeted: Finally got a date. Targeting to release Binance Chain testnet (@binance_dex) for public testing on Feb 20th. This is a testnet, your feedback would be most valuable. https://twitter.com/cz_binance/status/1095187500056772608But I'm not buying now anyway, because I bought most of my BNB in September 2017.

Does anyone think binance coin is very stable? Is it a good buy right now? Seems to keep going up and stay steady while other coins are going up but not that much.
It has pumped a lot in the past few days; it's touching its all-time-high versus BTC right now. So no, I'll never recommend anybody to enter any BNB trade at this stage. Not a good time to enter anymore, IMO. Binance-Chain is coming soon. Binance-DEX is coming soon. Binance goes international, enables Fiat and makes hundreds of millions of profit in a bear market and burns BNB I believe it's one of the best in Crypto, especially in this depressive-shaky market. Correct, that's exactly why it has managed to get pumped this much in the past few weeks. However, I've got a feeling that the "buy the rumor, sell the news" rule will apply here as soon as the Binance-Chain testnet (and DEX) is launched. So, I'd not prefer/recommend entering in a BNB trade at this stage. I never recommend buying because at any time that could be wrong. And of course, the price went up quite a bit lately, so a correction could be near. But I, for myself, think longterm. BNB, for the first time ever, has entered in the top 10 coins (by marketcap): ...the latest (last 24-hour) little boost in price has probably been caused by CZ's latest AMA, as tempus shared today: However, I've got a weird feeling that we've officially hit the (long-term) top for BNB/BTC. I believe the price can go really high - longterm. If you think this way: Ethereum was the first Smart Contract Blockchain and because of the ERC20/ICO-hype it hit a marketcap of > $120 billion. Binance-Chain will not be a smart contract platform but with Binance behind, with it's focus to do exactly that: Issuance of new token and longterm also Security-Token, I have not much doubt that Binance-Chain will be one of the major Blockchains during the next bull run (whenever it might be) and really be used.

Who wants to know why QNT is on a nice rise - it's because of this Interview with Gilbert Verdian: Quant Network Exclusive | CEO Gilbert Verdian | BlockchainBrad | Trust Web | Overledger https://youtu.be/mfHYp4qK4nEOne news that hit the market is that G.V. said that they've 70+ partnerships in the making. Brad's reaction on his Interview with Gilbert: In a recent video, @quant_network CEO @gverdian prompted an 'aha' moment for me. While most #crypto are in 'pre-utility' phase, $QNT isn't. They have scalable utility now. #QNT optimise top #cryptocurrencies through #OverLedger. Driven by the real killer app: ENTERPRISE.https://twitter.com/Brad_Laurie/status/1093266814505644032

Couldn't watch it that day because of a lack of time so I watched it yesterday. Who is interested in OWN and didn't watch the AMA until now - it's worth it!

Interesting statement(s) - some room for speculations what it will be about: On Telegram Gilbert Verdian said this: "Actually just arrived in Brussels. Have a big meeting with the European Commission in the morning. We’re involved in a very exciting venture for the EU. We will be announcing more on the 6th of March with lots of media attention"
Question: "Will the announcement on the 6th of march be big/significant in comparison to what other companies in the blockchain / crypto space has accomplished?"
His reply: "It’s Europe-wide. It’s at the same level as global banks in this space. Sorry can’t comment more until then" There are some speculations about it on QNT-Chat: Overledger solving cross border trade in the EU? https://qntchat.com/forums/topic/overledger-solving-cross-border-trade-in-the-eu/I don't think what G.V. said is enough to really know what it will be about, but considered their track record I also don't expect disappointment. Besides that - Quant gets increasingly media-attention: Why Investors Should Be Paying Attention to Quant Network (QNT)https://hacked.com/why-investors-should-be-paying-attention-to-quant-network-qnt/

Great overview about a fascinating and very promising project that's still a bit under the radar!

Todays AMA: https://twitter.com/blinkytheghost1/status/1089898708395745280https://twitter.com/blinkytheghost1/status/1089898713634332672Some (pretty random) Quotes: "Wanted to start with some updates as we keep our promises and keep delivering - Regarding exchanges. We're listing on another top 10 exchange, in our case number 4, Digifinex. Plus we have progress on 2 other additional new exchanges which we're under NDA and can't talk about it. One is also in the top 10 and the other is one of the most reputable."
__________
Q: Is Quant aware of Identitii's and PayB/OSKO's blockchain projects? Both of these projects are Australian, cutting edge stuff. Identitii in particular is offering an overlay service to digitize legacy banking, is there competition or collaboration here?
A: We have had discussions with Data61 around open banking and overlay services with payments that the market needs using Overledger. We're working on what this looks like as an offering.
__________
Q: Interesting... IQVIA anonymizes medical data and sells it for research purposes, garnering 9.74B in revenue. IBM is pushing in to develop blockchain for medical devices to do a similar approach for faster cures... Huge potential here.
A: We're happy to announce we're working on Digital Clinical Trials with a Government Health agency and we can announce the work and client in the next 2 months. It's our way to help innovate healthcare and access to medicines.
__________
Q: You mentioned multiple times that you are working with Airports and transport logistics. Is this usecase internally focused within one organisation, or a wider link globally between similar ventures - helping to create a smooth, linked ecosystem?
A: We have a meeting with ObjectTech next week in our office who are working on the identity side for Dubai airport in preparation for Dubai 2020.
__________
Q: Out of the 60 or so companies you are currently working with, can you estimate what percentage will publicly disclose their relationship with Quant?
A: We are working on having the top clients we are engaged with to be public about the work we're doing in Q1.
__________It makes sense to read the whole AMA I linked above - everything looks really impressive. I'm in this space since 2013 but can't remember any project like this when it's about constant and flawless delivery. The saying "it looks to good to be true" is mostly true, but... high probability that it will turn out to be wrong in this case.

Great Updates: Binance CEO Interview: Future of Exchange, Binance DEX, and BNB https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KrKMZmFEkrYSummary: 5 - 10 Fiat on Ramps around different parts of the world The Binance DEX will come out very soon Binance Chain: Several ERC20 projects will migrate to Binance Chain No smart contracts, more throughput STO’s: Binance has two regulatory licenses at different places

I didn´t buy Binance Token for now because it doesn´t offer passive income to holders. And this I do not understand why Binance decided to not giving collected fees to BNB holders.
Regulatory there is probably a big difference. Giving dividends would make a token to a Security. But Binance indirectly pays out dividends because each quarter they use 20% of the profit to buy back and destroy BNB. Actually it's a pretty smart way to give passive income without giving passive income ;-)

It's good decision to lock the old thread which was creating confusing for the community where to discuss their ideas. This thread have up to date content and more useful stuff to understand about this concept good luck.
Agreed! But, I'll miss the old Thread - no Thread on Bitcointalk was such a game changer for me like that one.

Vermute eher letzteres...
