141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A month of WAR on: April 17, 2022, 01:53:01 PM
~
In Russia, indeed, according to polls, about 84 percent of the population support the war of conquest in Ukraine. This is the result of many years of zombification of Russians by their media. We will see what opinion the Russians will have about this war at least in a year.
Which poll says that 84 percent of the population support war. As if no other countries media will be spreading propaganda what the government or the authorities who is in control of the narrative wants to portrait. Woke and cancel culture is due to the media zombification  Cheesy.

I am not supporting any war but the fact is tension are rising in many parts of the world and i really think it is related to inflation and other economic struggles and to divert the attention these things are happening so that the focus will be on war and not the real issues a common person is facing.
142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MMA Info and Predictions - Bellator, KSW, PFL, ONE... on: April 17, 2022, 12:42:09 PM
Arron Pico is on a mean win streak. I remember his first fight, he was so hyped and his loss was, I would say, really mocked, however, he has really hyped his game since, and I remember a couple of nasty TKOs (the body punch one springs to mind). And he's only 25 yo, so he still has some time in this game.
Aaron Pico will be on a winning streak but you need to check out his opponents as well, they are nobodies and he can rile up wins if he is going like this and when he faced decent experienced fighters he lost those fights and now Bellator is building him up by giving him easy opponents.

Patrício Pitbull the new champion and i watched the highlights and before the fight i was confused on whether to place a bet on him or not. Even though A. J. McKee did agree with the decision, i felt Pitbull won the fight.

Stuart Broad seems front runner but i guess he's 35-ish already so imo it would be short term gig for him. This won't be a bad choice for short term if he's captaining the team for full home season because he can get into the playing XI without any fuss. At the same time management can groom some one else for future, may be Burns, Ben Foakes? I still don't understand why Broad was dropped from the team in the first place.
Most of the time i really do not understand their rotation policy and how they pick the players to rest, i understand that it helps prolong their career but they need to start grooming young players. Stuart Broad should be the captain now and once Ben Stokes is fit enough to lead the country i am sure he will take over because majority of the former captains wants to see Ben Stokes as the captain.

~
Broad and Anderson must retire as they have played enough cricket and should give chance to new talent. England team is just like Mumbai Indian they have a good captain like Root but no team. It will now take some years before England can have strong test team.
As long as they are performing what is the point in retiring. They do not have a strike bowler who could replace both these players and until then they will continue until they are fit to play Test matches.

Teams like Oman and the United Arab Emirates are full of former first class players from India and Pakistan. The native players from PNG and Nepal doesn't have that experience and therefore they can't compete against these mercenary teams. On top of that, the ICC has reduced funding to teams like Nepal and Kenya during the last decade. This further reduces the ability of these countries to give proper training to their players. The GCC nations on the other hand are having unlimited access to funds and they have the best cricket infrastructure in the world.
Assume how these mercenary players from India and Pakistan are reaching Oman and United Arab Emirates, do you think that their cricket board is coming to India and Pakistan to recruit these players or do you think that these players are moving to these countries looking for new opportunities and go for selection process and if they have the talent they will be picked. I doubt they will be sending scouts rather these players are moving to their country to play the game.

I missed the event completely, was planning to watch the main event even though not planning to watch the entire card because none of the fighters were known to me. Belal Muhammad dominated the rematch and i was expecting this to an extend.

Here is the results

146  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk makes offer to buy Twitter on: April 16, 2022, 09:22:09 PM

We all know how deceitful Elon Musk can be, all he cares about is doge coin, not bitcoin, even doge coin rose when he bought shares on Twitter, he is only looking for ways to make doge popular and this can be effective if he owns Twitter. I believe he will fail because Twitter is never like Facebook and will never be like Facebook. His aim will only be towards making doge the dominant coin Twitter will be accepting just as he did with Tesla after his bitcoin criticism which he was wrong about but just wanted to fool people.
The basic is that how much Elon Musk is mocking the entire cryptocurrency space by supporting a meme coin and yet everyone is behind it and investing in them and he showed how easy for him to manipulate the entire market . Elon Musk has the pocket to purchase Twitter and it all depends upon other board members whether he will be having the authority to purchase them.

I am still not satisfied with Bitcoin right now, I'm in the middle of bearish-bullish trend.
I am more than happy with the way the price reached these valuation considering how big the market reached in the past couple of years, i wanted to see a major correction and i picked i have no idea about how the market will respond in the next couple of month as it can go in either direction.
Right now the market goes to a correction whenever the price reaches $45k and it is trading in a range bound for a while and i expect to continue that for a while but it is hard to predict in the short term.

It looks like Shiba inu is the biggest Ponzi scheme of them all, if not why look like it? Whales kept buying billions and billions of Shiba inu tokens since last week like they heard a rumour or something and now Shiba listed on the Robinhood exchange then the price starts going down, tell me this is not an inside job.
I do not doubt that either, there is something fishy that is going on with Shiba Inu, they had big investors right from the start and they were getting more exposure and exchange listings from the start and their developers are still unknown and i will not be surprised if there will be wash trading going on in the background and i have seen some gambling sites accepting Shiba Inu which was strange but that is how the market is, really unpredictable  Cheesy.

Congrats to all those who have placed bet on KL hundred. LSG are now 195 and still 6 balls to go. They can easily finish somewhere in between 200 to 210. In last five overs they have scored 60 runs, exactly wts required to reach 200. Now things will be difficult for MI
I did not expect to see KL Rahul scoring a century tonight and tonight was his day which means there is no way Mumbai Indians will be winning the match as they already lost Rohit Sharma who is struggling to regain his momentum. They need someone to build a partnership to take the match closer so that Pollard could come in and finish the match which i really wanted to see  Cheesy.

SRH bowlers have done the best during the initial overs, but things went out of their hands during the end overs. If I'm not wrong KKR managed to score 36 runs in the last 12 balls. When that scoring was happening I thought this runs were going to change the match. Finally the batting order of SRH performed well to win the match in an easy manner.
After picking the first two wickets i thought Kolkata Knight Riders had a chance to pick further wickets and put pressure back on to Sunrisers Hyderabad but that never happened and they ran away with the match.

With the start Lucknow Super Giants got right now it is going to be another disappointing performance from Mumbai Indians.

Edit: first wicket down  Cheesy.

Good luck to Root. He did really well in past matches and saved his team on many instances.
Be it Bairstow and Stokes - the captain should maintain the standard of the Root he was a pride of the team and did very well in ASHES series.
I do not think Jonny Bairstow or Ben Stokes are ready to become the captain at this moment in time, i would prefer to see Stuart Broad taking over the captaincy and then groom other players that would be capable of leading the country. The reason i do not want to see Ben Stokes is because he took a long break due to mental health issues and for a player like that, captaincy will be a huge burden.
152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: April 15, 2022, 09:18:33 PM
~
The most important thing is that Mike Tyson was so happy at that time when he had that much money and he doesn't even regret that he bought those lavish things and had live in such luxurious lifestyle but he also quoted that he learned from that mistakes while he was serving time in jail. And now, he managed to stood up again after those unfortunate happenings and seeing him back in good status makes me also happy about him.
Mike Tyson always talks about these in his podcast, he says that he was not happy then and he does not know what to do with the money he had and how to make others happy, so he went on for shopping sprees and does crazy things and when he went to jail, he started getting cautious because he knew there are people who are looking for fame on his behalf and he could get in real trouble.

This was an easy win, because the players kept creating partnership after every wicket fall. Rahul Tripathi took responsibility at the right time and scored what is necessary as per the run rate. It can't be said as poor bowling, because Narine and Chakravarthy are the bowlers who have been changing the matches towards KKR in the middle overs. Today they weren't able to do as predicted against the bowlers.
It was a good performance from Sunrisers Hyderabad especially from Rahul Tripathi and Aiden Markram and i expected KKR will be able to break those partnerships in the beginning but once they started to bat easily i knew the match is gone from KKR and i cashed out the bet knowing there is no way Kolkata Knight Riders could make any impact in this match and now a third consecutive win for Sunrisers Hyderabad.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoins or CBDCs? on: April 14, 2022, 11:51:27 PM
I do not fully trust all the stable currencies in the cryptocurrency space but i will not use any Central Bank Digital Currencies because they control everything about the currency and have the opportunity to monitor them and even freeze my currency if they want to, we have not seen that kind of control from the stable currencies we have in circulation even though they are able to do those same activities. I am just curious to see how things develop in the future and then make my complete decision about these things.

Yeah, Pakistan is well known for its all form of bowlers. Each bowler too have some names to mention their bowling. For Shoaib Akhtar it is Rawalpindi Express. Young players are much in Pakistan, but very few gets the opportunity. I believe there are more academies for cricket, but what is necessary is the playing experience against a team than the net practice. Right now they've got PSL which will surely make more young players shine for Pakistan.
PSL can bring a positive change in identifying new talents and it is evident in the IPL, there are bowlers who i am seeing for the first time who is bowling at really good pace and i usually do not watch the IPL but this year i am watching most of the matches because i entered the competition here and placing bet on matches.

Abdul Qadir, Saqlain, Mushtaq, Wasim etc were lucky enough to play cricket before the era of this technology and Big-3. Now only players of small boards action are reported, you will never see any talented bowler from big 3 getting banned. Now there is need to have some sort of guidance during initial days of bowler to report his action.
Abdul Qadir and Mushtaq Ahmed are leg spinners and no one could throw a ball bowling leg spin and hence no complaints can be raised even if you wanted and Wasim Akram was a fast bowler who never faced any controversy in his bowling action rather he was praised for his skill level globally. I am not sure which of your favorite players were reported for illegal action  Tongue.

It was a bid and they've lost that bid to sponsor FIFA. They didn't win that sponsorship and it was awarded to another company which is from India. Well, if they've won that sponsorship, it's huge money for them to cover that and that will surely add more users to them.
That was a bummer, i thought Crypto already won the sponsorship for the upcoming World Cup and i thought the articles that i read was claiming that and now a learning app won the sponsorship bid.

Crypto is giving the fighters a special bonus than the fight of the night or performance of the night handed out by the UFC every event. Initially i thought they are giving that bonus in crypto and only after UFC 273 it was clear that it was a special bonus.

In Bangladesh, there is a strong domestic league, although it focuses only on limited overs and is not competitive enough. It is high time that they move their focus from limited to longer formats. Its inexperience, brought about by a lack of exposure, has held Bangladesh back. They are still in the process of developing test maturity, and are still considered minors in test cricket. If your approach in test cricket even at home by playing safe and not beating your opponents, you may not be able to last long. While it's obvious that the process takes time, you don't know whether you are going the right direction until you see it in action.
I was not aware of the domestic set up of Bangladesh, but like other Asian countries Pakistan and India they need to set up a strong first class league and only then they could find the talents. T20 leagues have nurtured the players for the shortest format and hence Bangladesh is performing well in ODI and T20 and they need to focus on First class Cricket to identify Test level players and give them opportunities.

I was listening to Saqlain Mushtaq interview (he is the one who corrected saeed ajmal bowling action), he says that I told Ajmal it will take 6 months before your new bowling action will be matured. Since he has very little time left because of his age he couldn't made it. Hasnain is young and New let's hope PCB can do some help to him.
Pakistan has historically some of the legendary bowlers in Cricket history, including Abdul Qadir and Mushtaq Ahmed, those were leg spinning genius and Saqlain Mushtaq is the bowler who invented dosara, then their fast bowling legends who invented reverse swing, like Waqar Younis and Wasim Akram. If they can start an academy and groom young talents they could still produce great players but i am not sure what they are doing.

Gulf countries never give any citizenship to expats, all those playing in teams of Oman and UAE are there on work visa. The only problem is that teams like Nepal and PNG are suffering due go such policies. Take teams of native players to main eco system of cricket and they will stay here forever.
From what i heard, the players are there in work permit and if the ICC is not having any issues then who is having issues, if any country can hire mercenary players let them do that. I bet no one will allow that because a chance of playing for the country will be gone and there will be widespread protest, but GCC citizens is not having any issues because they seldom play the game.
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: imagine a world without Bitcoin on: April 10, 2022, 09:12:49 PM
1. The world will fine without Bitcoin, mining doesn't harm environment.
I do accept that there wont be any change even if there is no Bitcoin space, but to have a public ledger is an invention that can be used in every sector especially by the government to have transparency. The idea of Bitcoin is harming the environment is just bullshit as if every other industry is boosting the environment.

2. Most people still using fiat for any transactions, Bitcoin is more used for investment rather than a currency.
That is a general concept but where countries that are under restrictions or in the event government freezes the funds, we can use Bitcoin and that has been done

tl;dr Bitcoin do have less or almost none impact to the world.
Things i mentioned is the impact it created, to overcome restrictions imposed by government or restrictions from one country to another is a huge deal.
