1041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High discount in presale on: June 18, 2021, 07:58:29 PM
Is 75$ discount in presale of a project way too high? What do you think will happen to such project giving away too high discount for a presale? Will this cos huge dump or you've seen projects that survives after such massive discount
Which project you are talking about, for a very long time i did not invest in any project because it is obvious that the market price would come down once the coins reaches the exchange and even if i want to invest in them to stake or any other objective i have i will always wait for the coins to be listed in open in exchanges or in DEX rather than going after pre sale.

Day one has abandoned for the rain. They have a reserve day for this final. So there is nothing to be disappointed yet about a day loss. But the weather forecast says that there is small possibility of happening rain on upcoming days in Southampton. Maybe it wasn't a good decisions to select England as a venue of the final. The rain has destroyed the excitement of this final match today.
They have an extra date for the WTC final but today the entire day was washed out and what happens if a few more days the rain will halt the match and it will be a draw and if that happens then it is going to be a boring end to the hyped up final.

I still hope we will be able to see a good match because both are strong teams and i would like to see which team will prevail.

Too bad that Federer lost, in Roland Garros he seemd to be in a pretty good form, but this doesn't give confidence for Wimbledon...
Surprising loss of Zverev also, the bookies will be happy  Grin.
Roger Federer lost his recent Halle open and i did not place a bet because i was not confident with his fitness and like i expected his fitness is an issue and age might be catching up with him but the loss of Alexander Zverev was a shock because i placed a parlay bet and included him and that is the only loss i had in my bet to make a couple of grand if he won and unfortunately that loss messed me up Undecided.
1044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: June 17, 2021, 10:53:29 PM
^ Good for us if Manny will be the underdog because of the huge pay we are going to get if he won against Spence. Let the media hype Spence, after all he is an American and still very young, although soft spoken but he chooses to trash talk Manny so be it.
Errol Spence Jr will be using this opportunity against Manny Pacquiao as a platform to become a superstar so that he will be able to make more money and may be that is the reason he is vocal and if you look at all the stars in the business you need to talk to get the attention and if he could beat Manny Pacquiao then it can launch his stardom but if he looses it is going to be difficult.

Manny have seen them all, they are not going to get into his skin, he will stick to the plan, and fought using his heart to offset Spence youth. It is already on sportsbet, but there is no line yet.
Manny Pacquiao will not get affected with the trash talking but the problem i see is that he did not fight for the past two years and the last fight was against Keith Thurman in 2019 and so it is difficult to predict his conditioning and he is 42 years old.
1045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 17, 2021, 04:59:22 AM
I disagree that Conor isn't good at Lightweight. Conor was, and still is one of the best fighters we've seen in the UFC. Despite him not actually winning a fight for 2/3 years. He's still an exciting fighter. I do think Poirier might get the better of him again, but we have to admit that Conor actually was doing quite well against Poirer until he got backed up on that octagon. I believe he even rocked Poirer at some point in the fight.
Conor McGregor has one win in the LightWeight division and we can say that he dominated the Featherweight division and if he can go through that grueling weight loss which he really do not want to do it is going to be tough for him.

The thing is with Conor, he's a great striker, but he fights risky. His hands are quite low, and I think what we have been seeing is, he doesn't get away with as much as he would in the lower divisions. There's generally harder hitters the heavier the division, and that's basically how Poirer put him away.
In the Featherweight division he could get away with his flaws because he is a superior striker and he could manage his opponents strikes but in the higher weight division he could not take that much strikes and when his offensive move are countered then he struggles to maintain that and end up loosing.
1046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: will EIP-1559 make the price of ETH very high in the future...??? on: June 15, 2021, 11:57:25 PM
The price of ETH already rallied a lot in the past few month basically because anyone planning to stake the coins already purchased them and so is the reason we see the price well above $2k and even when the EIP 1559 is implemented i am not expecting any rapid growth in price because anyone who had plans on staking the coins already invested. It all depends upon how the migration will happen without creating much issues on the technical side of things and then we can talking about the price.
1047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are meme tokens dangerous or moon on: June 15, 2021, 10:04:21 PM
This is a thread where we will discuss meme tokens that are unrugable and which can moon. We will detail steps to avoid being scammed. We will discuss signs that a token is going to moon. We will give updates on our offical meme token Jomon Shiba aka $JSHIBA.
What is unrugable?

There are many meme coins in the market and many of them popped up recently after the Dogecoin price started to rally and there is no point in jumping to all those coins unless you wanted to take a risk and when the market goes down the developers might dump everything and leave. So think before you jump into any of these coins.
1048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: June 15, 2021, 07:37:11 PM
At the most, they can move the tournament to some other country, but this option is not viable now. They should not complain much. There is no entertainment tax or corporate tax in the UAE. If this tournament was conducted in India, then the BCCI will be forced to pay 43% of the total revenues as tax to the government. They are saving all that amount and therefore it would be a good idea to reimburse some of that money to the franchises.
UAE is the only viable solution for the BCCI to conduct the tournament and other countries will not accept any major tournaments with full crowd capacity and the only country that allow crowds in the stadium are UK as have seen crowds during the recent England New Zealand Test match and US where the UFC is filling up stadiums for their PPV.

If they are able to save 43% of tax it is a huge number and they do not need to complain further and look for alternatives.
1049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you "swap" your crypto for a Tesla? on: June 15, 2021, 02:46:11 AM
@ Sir Legend^^^ You did not read what he said, he is not even talking about any coins and there is no rumors in air about Elon Musk coming out with his own coin. What OP is asking is whether you will be willing to purchase the car with the coins you are holding Tongue.

Even in a hypothetical situation where he comes out with his coins i will not invest a dime because it will be the most volatile coin as he will be changing his stance every week.
1050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 14, 2021, 11:59:29 PM
Massively impressed with Moreno. I expected him to win in this rematch, but I didn't expect it in such style. Fig didn't really get settled in, and was completely outmatched in all departments.
Brandon Moreno impressed me with his performance, i was expecting Deiveson Figueiredo to retain the title before the weigh ins but he had brutal weight cuts and then in the fight he was not in great shape and was outclassed and more than that i was surprised at the fan support Brandon Moreno had in the arena.

While the Nate Diaz Vs Leon Edwards fight was probably the most exciting due to the ending, but Moreno VS Fig was definitely the better overall fight.
I was surprised with the tactics Nate Diaz used throughout the fight and he was eating shots and was overwhelmed by the striking of Leon Edwards but Nate is durable even with heavy leg kicks and when he tagged Leon Edwards he did not jump to finish the fight and a few more blows could have changed the fight.

Adesanya VS Vettori was as expected I guess. Vettori nearly getting a choke at some point, but was largely outclassed for much of the fight. Adesanya could only beat what was in front of him, and with Vettori just seeming like he wanted to stay out of the danger zone against Israel all he could do was what he did on the night. Vettori, at times looked clueless, and was just hugging israel as the hip line, without actually fighting for a position. It was a little weird, almost like Vettori was completely demotivated.
Marvin Vettori was tired in the later rounds, he might be having a wrestling based attack after seeing how Adesanya lost to Jan Błachowicz and it could swap away the stamina and Adesanya stuffed many take downs and reversed a few as well and when that game plan was challenged Vettori did not have a second plan and may be that is the reason it was a weird fight.

All eyes are on Pant. The big advantage that India has over NZ are consistent tail-enders like Ashwin etc who can bat when necessary though some of NZ's tail-enders can bat well too.
Pant was the savior from a wicket keeper who drops catches to a match changing performer against Australia changed his fortunes as well and it will be difficult to replace him as well. If the top order is able to build partnerships then the middle order and the lower order will chip in and make the necessary runs required and the bowlers will do the rest as they have the ability to trouble any team.

I am also curious to see which are the players they will be selecting for the WTC finals.
1052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake vs Bet365: The Live Streaming Battle on: June 14, 2021, 09:01:44 PM
Is there an official announcement about them streaming all UFC events or confirmation on their ANN thread? Because if there isn't, I am not going to mention it just yet.
Even i heard that they will be streaming the event but when the pre-lims started i logged in to see whether i could watch the match from their streaming service but i was not able to see them and then i started watching outside the platform and then i did not even check during the main card. If anyone could confirm that that would be great.

Bet 365 is not streaming UFC fights as far as i know but Stake is having some deal with the UFC and hence i would like to hear from them because i was searching in their forum as well but could not find about an official announcement.
1053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Nakatani June 26 on: June 14, 2021, 07:58:05 PM
We'll see what's going to happen, if the theorized upset is really going to happen or not when the fight finally starts and hopefully they will give a good fight because I want to see more action in boxing since there's not a lot of action these days in the boxing scene save for some big names who knows how to be like a showman in the ring.
I do not consider this a big draw but there are Lomachenko fans who likes pure boxing skills we have not seen earlier and for that aspect alone i will be watching the fight live and the past few years were the best days for boxing in a very long time as the Heavyweight division started to gain attraction because of the big three and the boxing fans are going through a good phase as we are seeing good competition unlike in the past where the best will not fight against the best.
1054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley on: June 14, 2021, 06:53:10 PM
Yes, the Mayweather vs Logan Paul fight was labeled as a hug fight and the eight-round fight was labeled as the most boring by many, who were not impressed by the frequent hugs of the two boxers in the ring.
and for the next exhibition match, I think the public's interest will decrease because watching it is normal and I also hope the Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley fight is not boring, whatever the reason because what the audience wants is an exciting fight and shouts when supporting one of them.
We can call Floyd Mayweather and Logan paul as hugging fight but they made millions of dollars and from the reports they were able to sell over a million PPV buys which means Logan Paul is well settled in life and Floyd Mayweather was smart enough to come out and make another fortune without much effort.

Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley might not do the same PPV buys but i doubt how Tyron Woodley is going to prepare for the fight and after the skeptical approach by Dana White i feel it will be another win for Jake Paul.
1055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 World’s Strongest Man on: June 14, 2021, 05:13:33 PM
I never followed the strong man competition but i used to see clips in social media, i have no idea about the competitors and if anyone is well aware of these competition and are following them, i would like to know about it and i never placed a bet and i do not remember if any sports-book is accepting these bets. I would like to know these details and it will be interesting to know about favorites.
1056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: June 14, 2021, 02:17:27 PM
I read some articles displaying the odds of this fight,  but I could not find any in one of our favorite sportsbooks here. They have not listed the odds yet and I'm sure the odds might change once it's out as with that odds, for sure a lot of bettors would take that as they still believe that Manny would win.
Errol Spence Jr is a heavy favorite at -400 and even the pundits think that Manny Pacquiao will be defeated in this fight and his odds are +300.
I still want to see the best version of Manny Pacquiao and if he needs to win he needs to knockout out Errol Spence Jr and if it goes to a decision i doubt the judges will give the decision to Manny Pacquiao.
1057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH sheep, buy now? on: June 13, 2021, 09:57:54 PM
indeed we do not know how long and how much the correction will take, whether it will get below the price of $ 2K or it will stop at just $ 2K. which means that the correction can reach almost 50% more than the ATH recently carried out by ethereum.
Almost a month and the price of ETH is still hovering  over $2500, i personally did not expect the price to rally this high a few years back but they are creating all these hype through social media and even when the transaction charges were crazy high they were promising that they situation would change after the upgrade and yet we have no idea when that would be and still the price rallied on expectations which is really crazy.
1058  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Elon going to sell his BTCs? on: June 13, 2021, 09:02:35 PM
First of all it's not Musk who holds bitcoin but it's Tesla who holds them. 1 thing I am pretty sure that they are not going to sell it off in losses. TESLA is already a loss-making company, A loss so big would hurt their financial statements so much that it might take them years to recover, and also the strategic thinktank of the Company will be criticized a lot for this mistake. So I don't think they are going to sell it off for a loss of even a single dollar. Moreover, I think Elon clarified in May that TESLA has not sold even a single bitcoin apart from their sell-off in the previous quarter which was for showcasing liquidity in bitcoin. And After that the price has never crossed TESLA's buying mark, so I am sort of sure that he hasn't sold any bitcoin from his bag of bitcoin.
If you take globally the automobile sector was struggling and all the companies had huge losses and Tesla is one of the companies in that category as well. First they had the circuit shortage and then the pandemic and they could not manufacture and deliver the cars as promised and these are caused by external issues globally and they were smart enough to overcome the loss by investing in Bitcoin and they have successfully booked their profit as well. They wont be selling the coins at a loss but they are leveraging the cryptocurrency market to cover their losses.
1059  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tonga May Be The Next Nation To Adopt Bitcoin! Madness! on: June 13, 2021, 08:05:20 PM
Publicity for bitcoin is really needed at this time if you just want to introduce bitcoin. Actual adoption may still not be fully implemented. Transactions using Bitcoin and ending with FIAT are very common nowadays. Although not fully adopted, at least Bitcoin has an important role for economic growth today.
You think that Bitcoin needs publicity, anyone who is aware of the financial market will be aware of the cryptocurrency market and you do not need any further publicity and transaction using bitcoin with fiat is common from the initial days and in this forum itself you will find many deals in the early days.

The countries of El Salvador, Iran and then Tonga may be aware of the advantages of bitcoin and then legalizing bitcoin is the choice they have to take to advance their country's economy. Developed countries or other developing countries may follow later.
Bitcoin or cryptocurrency is becoming a revolutionary means of payment with technology that will continue to be developed.
The advantage some countries like Iran is going to get is they could overcome the restrictions imposed upon them by some countries and they could take advantage of Bitcoin and overcome these restrictions imposed on them.
1060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoins to hold during a bear market? on: June 13, 2021, 06:30:08 PM
I reckon the best cryptocoins to buy as long term investments during bear markets might be those exchange utility tokens like FTT and BNB. Exchanges always collect revenue in bull and bear markets and this gives the tokens some fundamental backing. Also, the utility of those tokens in their corresponding exchanges create a demand for them.
I doubt whether these exchange utility coin will survive a market correction, i know very well that BNB went down when the market went down because i was providing liquidity to some projects and i purchased them when the market was riding at an all time high valuation and when the market went down BNB went down along with the market, so it is not the best coin to hold during bear market, i will be holding only in stable coins or in Euro.
