1121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you get your news about Crypto? on: May 30, 2021, 11:59:36 PM
In the past i used to follow all the news sites in the cryptocurrency space but stopped following all those when FUD and fake news started to appear all the time. Now a days i only check the updates when i see some hype forming in the exchanges trading pattern and then google it and find out what is happening in the market rather than following each and every detail like i used to in the past.

They will be more strict and since their reputation is at stake if they are forced to cancel the tournament yet again, i am sure they will be more careful and the bubble will be much strict than they used to have in the past.
All the players were in the bubble and yet there were able to test positive from multiple team members which was confusing as to how a situation like that could happen and not sure whether they did any investigation to understand the issues between the breakage of covid behind members of different teams as well.

What is the date they are planning to conduct the IPL, will there be any change in the match schedules and i would like to hear more about those.

Are you serious? You are not just another troll here?
Taking you seriously, I have to ask you why you bought bitcoin in the first place? What is your ultimate goal?
There are many new users in the market who are attracted to the huge rallies and with the pandemic in full swing and everyone having a relaxed work from home atmosphere many people are getting interested in the market and you might see new investors trying their luck without even knowing anything about the market.

In other markets a 5% gain is a huge deal but here we usually that kind of volatility on a daily basis  Cheesy.
1124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop the FUD! Enough is enough! on: May 30, 2021, 03:43:09 PM
People selling now to the FUD are going to regret it later. Will it be in 1 month, 3 months, 1 year or 4 years? I don't know but I know they will regret it because they sell it to the big guys and they will remain poor for all their lives. Be smart and use your brain, you don't need the "genius" Elon Musk to tell you how to live!
Some learn only by experience and if they are selling off their coins let me do that as they are risking their money and they can make their decision on what they want to do with their money. The difference when there is shilling from people like Elon Musk is that he could attract users that are not yet in the cryptocurrency market and some were lucky enough to invest and make huge profits.
1125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Warning: Cardano can drops to 0.5$ and Ethereum to $800 on: May 30, 2021, 12:19:26 PM
We saw what happended in 2017 on the market dip. People say that now is different and now instutions involved and this bs.
We see the last dip 50% and its not even a bear market.

If we hit a bearmarket all the cryptos go down again.
The market has changed considerably with each rally and this is the third rally and we are now controlled by huge institutional fund houses and so is the reason we are seeing huge rallies unlike we saw in the past and the problem with these fund houses is that they can book their profit anytime and move out of the market and when that happens the market will go down and when that happens expect the entire market to fall badly.
1126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: May 30, 2021, 11:54:51 AM
People are more concerned about the main event, it's okay if they will put a bad undercard but make sure the main event is interesting.  If they will cancel this, they are just wasting their effort of making it a hyped fight, so I don't think it will happen, let's be optimistic, the shit show will happen.  Cheesy
I do not think they will cancel this fight card, even if you look at the past Floyd Mayweather fight cards you will not see much fighters in the under card and usually they fill with fighters from his own gym but i am surprised they are testing every fighters. Since they are looking for make ton of money they will scramble and find fighters to fill the spot and they are smart enough to tackle these small issues.

They shouldn't been hostile to Dana, they don't bite the hands that feed them. Only this man feels like he has more power than the head. It's not surprising they are going to clash after he refuses to fight a match. He uses to be a good fighter, I was expecting him to fight Anderson Silva back when Silva was in his prime but not happen.
Jon Jones is the best fighter we have seen and no one will have a debate about that, Jon Jones is in a position where he fights whenever he likes and it has everything to do with the personal issues he had in the past. Anderson Silva and GSP was the fight everyone wanted to see but that never happened and there is no way Anderson Silva would pose any challenge to Jon Jones even in his prime and Jon Jones had a strong line of challengers in his division and it was one of the toughest division when he was the champion.

Rest In Peace to a promising fighter Fau Vake he is Israel Adesanya's teammate and gym brother despite it is an assault from the back the people responsible didn't think that someone will die from that kind of unseen punch, Israel Adesanya and Dan Hooker have attended his funeral, I think the assaulter still is unknown and at large, Fau Vake is a promising MMA fighter and a natural one when it comes to what he does, Maybe Vake is readying himself to enter in UFC but the tragic thing happens and Vake didn't recover from the assault.
It was a really unfortunate incident, i thought the sucker punch was inside the gym but now reports are coming out as if someone sucker punched while he was waiting for a taxi and i think four people are arrested in this regard according to news reports and i hope they get serious punishment for the muder.
1128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 29, 2021, 07:25:54 PM
The BCCI must be blamed. Because they have failed to organize the IPL properly. Before the start of the IPL, they said they would strictly abide by the health restrictions. But no one obeyed the restrictions properly. And when the virus spread again in India, many players and people of management were infected. The BCCI must take the responsibility.
Are you telling that no one followed the restrictions even when the second wave was in full swing and if they found someone taking these restrictions for granted the BCCI would have already punished them to save their faces. Till now i have not heard about any investigation by them about the root cause of the situation inside a bubble and they should have moved the IPL to UAE even before the tournament and now they are forced to reschedule back to UAE.
1129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: May 29, 2021, 04:50:44 PM
What sort of strength you are talking about? They lost the first two matches by a big margin and the third match was irrelevant as Bangladesh already had won the series. In the long term, the future of Sri Lankan cricket doesn't look safe. Anyway, now they have their first points in the ODI Super League. They are at the 12th position, with one win and 8 points from a total of 6 matches. On the 13th spot we have the Netherlands, who are yet to play any matches.
The Sri Lankan captain played a good innings and was leading from the front and even though their middle order was a failure they were able to restrict Bangladesh and in the first two games the Sri Lankan batsman failed to score runs and their bowlers were able to restrict them but their batting failed miserably. They need to find young talents and fill the void in the middle order to be a competitive team.
1130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: May 28, 2021, 08:55:47 AM
Very crucial third ODI between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh to start in a few hours from now. Bangladesh has already won the series, but winning this match is a necessity for Sri Lanka as they are without any points so far in the ODI Super League. There is no need for alarm yet, as they have plenty of matches remaining. But is will be good for Sri Lanka to get at least one win from this series, as their next matches in the league are against very strong teams (India and England).
If Sri Lanka is looking to get points for the ODI super league then they need to win this match and if they are not able to beat Bangladesh then there is no way Sri Lanka is going to pose any challenge to England and India and i am expecting a white wash with the present form they are in.

Sri Lanka started well in this match and i was able to place a bet on the first innings score of above 251 runs and with they way things are going i am expecting them to score that milestone with ease and i am expecting them to score above 270 unless they end up loosing wickets one after the other.
Hope Kusal Perera to reach his century and the rest of the players play around him.
1131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl is not the best option as it seems on: May 27, 2021, 11:59:32 PM
The ambition to earn more makes people lose money. Every person should set a goal for himself. When he reaches this goal, he must then sell the coins he has and get his money. Because there is no limit to making money, it is foolish to think that a coin will constantly rise.
Anyone holding Bitcoin for the long term has a goal and have an idea how big the market could go, no one is expecting the price to rise constantly and whenever there is a huge rally after every halving majority will love to book their profit for the patience they had and then wait for the market to have a major correction and even during that period many will not off load everything they are holding as those are meant for the long term.

Lasith Malinga was probably the last Sri Lankan player who could be classified as "legendary". After him, Sri Lanka was relegated to the category of teams such as Ireland and Zimbabwe. It is clear that the domestic cricket is not producing enough number of quality youngsters. The cricket board needs to look in to this issue and revamp the domestic setup. Else, in the long term they may end up like Kenya. Also, I don't have a good opinion about the SLCB. There is too much governmental interference on the board.
I have no idea about the involvement of a government in their respective boards and i do not think the ICC will appreciate that and that was evident in Zimbabwe when the government was controlling the board the ICC was forced to impose restrictions on them. Ireland and Sri Lanka do have issues in finding new talents and so does some of the countries who are not having a good domestic set up.
1133  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: $9 Billion worth trades got liquidated in last 24 hours. on: May 27, 2021, 10:26:10 PM
This on where people do really realized on whats  the importance of stop-loss and even how deep you do set out your SL if the market tends to crash or correct -40% then for sure billions would be liquidated
and this is something thats new into this market.. Lots had been anticipating that the price couldnt go below more into those percentage without even realizing or looking up on the past on what
are the ranges in between possible volatility which it should really be always in consideration.
It is not that easy task to predict how deep the market would crash at a particular time period and putting a stop loss in this market is the riskiest option and i never tried that, i usually make sure that i wont be making any stupid decisions simply because the market is going down and for the past few weeks the market is really volatile and anyone placing any stop loss measures will liquidate your assets in the blink of an eye and then recover after a few hours and these are familiar situation anyone who are trading in the market for a long time would know and hence these are not big surprises.

^^^ All you need to do is to avoid these FUD news, since all these stupid news were coming out i was afraid that the transaction charges are going to skyrocket once again because the news was that the mining farms are shutting down in China and till now i did not find any drop in hash rate which means either these news coming out are fake and made solely to create panic in the market.
1135  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $65,000 the peak of this bull market? on: May 27, 2021, 06:41:35 AM
There are very strong reasons to think that BTC will not stay here in its last ATH, according to analyst WOO he has high hopes, he even speaks that BTC the bullish trend is still beginning, that this is nothing compared to what it was in 2017:
In the grand scheme of things these strong market is just an indication of the high market valuation it could reach but that does not mean that we will see these higher valuation particularly in this rally. I am bullish in Bitcoin as well in the long run and i wont be surprised if we already saw the all time high valuation for this rally but i would like to see one last rally before the major correction.
1136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: May 26, 2021, 09:22:49 PM
When Jayasuriya was captaining the Sri Lankan team, Bangladesh was an associate nation and they didn't had the test status. Perhaps he is still stuck in that time. It may be hard for him to admit that now Bangladesh has leaped past Sri Lanka and the latter is on the downward slide ever since players such as Malinga and Sangakkara retired from international cricket. Rather than blaming the players, she should rather give suggestions to improve their performance.
They need to find young talents rather than giving them tips and suggestion to improve performances, they always lacked talents bowlers and after the retirement of Muttiah Muralitharan who was their work horse in every format of the game and now the retirement of Lasith Malinga they were not able to find a bowler of those caliber who could change the match anytime and they seriously lack batsman who could perform consistently.

Bangladesh improved their performance throughout the years while Sri Lanka failed in finding young talents to replace their retiring players and now they are struggling to be even competitive.
1137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC or TRX? to have most potential from here (15/05/2021) on: May 26, 2021, 05:51:13 PM
I have not given much of a thought between Litecoin and TRX and if i am in a position to invest in one coin i would choose TRX over LTC simply because of its low valuation and then its chain is used by other cryptocurrencies as well and Litecoin had a good rally as far as i saw as it reached over $260 and it is not a bad valuation either consider how low the valuation was a few months ago.
1138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chance of Major Alts creating ATHs in satoshi? on: May 26, 2021, 08:31:40 AM
Cardano got more than half way there recently.
What do you reckon the chances are that the Major altcoins set new ATHs against Bitcoin - sometime in the future?
Since you are looking for major altcoins to set new all time highs against Bitcoin means you are expecting the valuation of Bitcoin going down while the valuation of alts moving higher  Roll Eyes.
Its a good dream and anyone creating shit coins will be having these dreams so that they imagine they could hold a huge number of Bitcoin and some even made fortune with these but i am not expecting the alts to move higher when Bitcoin is going down  Tongue.

I hope that the BCCI will soon clear the pending dues, with interest. BTW, why can't these players approach the courts?
We just knew about Brad Hodge because he made his issues public in social media, i wonder how many players will be in that situation as there are other players who were contracted to that team and it is better to sort out the issues even though it is a decade old issue and i wonder why Brad Hodge did not proceed with the nonpayment earlier as the amount owed is fairly large.

Indian courts are useless. It takes around 20-30 years to get a judgement. One of my friends had a property dispute and after 25 years they had an out of court settlement to resolve the issue. If they had waited for a judgement, then it could have easily taken another two decades.
They should have done outside the court settlement couple of decades earlier  Cheesy.

Since overseas players are involved, I would advise them to go for international arbitration. Only such judgements can force the BCCI to make payments with due interest. Really feel bad about the players.. after all the hard work they end up unrewarded.
These arbitration and hiring lawyers cost them money and may be that is the reason they are not hiring a lawyer to fight for the money as the net profit will be minimal.
1140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: May 25, 2021, 11:27:45 AM
Bangladesh is batting first and they are struggling at 213 for the loss of 7 wickets and the match is delayed due to rain and it looks like the match will be either reduced or will be washed off as the rain is heavy as per the reports. I thought of placing a small bet on Sri Lanka but it looks the match will not take place.

Edit: The ground staffs are great as they were able to remove the water and now the match is resumed.
