At the end of the day it is a risk that people are taking and they are free to take any risk they want. Nobody could guarantee a return from something like this, we all know that it is highly unlikely that when you join a new ICO and they are brand new and show nothing but few web pages and some whitepaper, that is it so you know that you are getting at the bare bottom.
However if you trust them, you could make a big profit, if you do not trust them, you may end up losing a lot of money. For example, there is this token that I am looking at these days, they are giving a decent amount of return right now and if I end up joining, with both investment and also airdrops and bounties and everything included, I could actually 6x my money according to what they assume price will be. But they are saying what it will be, they can't guarantee it, so I haven't joined yet.
It's not about how you trust the project but in the project development . Even how you trust it if they will failed to make it or develop the project it will crash and then you will lose your money because many other investors that also trust the project will sell their tokens at loss. And that's what most of the sales happening right now they are only good at the start but they don't really know what they are going to build and how they can do it that's why more of them is a failure. |

That price is too much for me, if it's really possible to happen we should see the price jn $50k by the end of this year then that 300k$ in December 2021 is possible to happen. True, last BCH fork I hold few BCH on exchange (binance) and I get two different coins, can't remember the names, one end with ABC, my point is I never get my BCH back, it vanished into thing air, I'm not going to participate in this FOrk, moreover why is BCH forking every few years? So annoying
I think the developer of bch want to have more coins from his holdings thats why there are many fork created only for bch and besides it's a free money for every holders are you not like it? To make things easy for you if you don't want to lose any bch then don't stored any in exchange you experience already what will happen to your bch once there are fork so why would you stored your coins there ? Say I placed the limit order when BTC was worth 16000, and the price never goes to 16500 but goes to 16450 the next day. even though my 1 btc is tied up in an order: when I put the order in BTC was worth 16000, will it still gain in value to 16450: IE I cancel the limit order when market price is 16450 will my 1 btc be worth 16450 or is it worth the original value of 16000 when I placed the order?
As long you own it already, the 1 Bitcoin you have is equivalent to the price in that day you visit the exchange. sell it or not it's your decision but the price is the same the day you check it. You will have profit in USD when the price increase you will lose if it's decrease . There is no way the price will be the same after you bought it since it's volatile . You need to learn more about Bitcoin before buying read many guides article in the web that you can read to add more knowledge of how the price of Bitcoin wokrs. I don't get it, why would people would invest in BTC now? current price is $16K but people still invest in it.
even if it reaches imaginary price of $32K people would get just +100% of what they've risked while you can invest in altcoins and MAYBE get easily 10x-100x on your risked amount...
I mean what's your thoughts about it?

It is depend on the investors many traders do the same strategy which is half of investment will go to Bitcoin and the other half is for the chosen altcoin they think can give them profit. That 100x profit from altcoin that you are looking is include the same risk so I will not suggest to invest in any hype project if you want to secured your capital money. If someone know what coin it is they will not share it to others they will invest by their own and will not share any info about it. |

Most current Cexs have removed that rule. Binance, Bithumb, MXC, Okex, Huobi Global, ... can all trade, deposit and withdraw money without having to verify KYC.
Bittrex is really dead, they are increasingly killing the traders out there and not having any special treatment.
So don't choose the dying exchanges, focus trading on Top Cexs, it will be safer for your account as well as you don't have to do KYC to withdraw a small amount.
This is a big mistake for them for asking mandatory kyc back then when we start the bull market . Which resulted of leaving their exchange to use by many other traders even the new traders doesn't want to under go to any kyc process . It's a lost for them if they don't forcefully do ask their users they can still be the one of the top exchange right now it's their lost. For OP before using any exchange make sure you check review first if they are asking for mandatory kyc or if someone have experience to forcely under go to kyc. You can find it if you search in the web. |

Well, that could be nice if there is any of which bitcointalk.org can be view on mobile. I do believe that there are many mobile users here in the forum and I am one of them. It left me with sometimes difficulty while browsing in the forum. Using of mobile phone is more comfortable for me as it is handy wherever I go I can access the forum and can participate in the discussion through mobile. I guess OP you should move this thread to meta section so that it will going yo be visible by the admin
I am also mobile users but it doesn't matter for me how can I view the website on mobile and PC it's almost the same for me. so I don't think we need to request a mobile version of btt. Unless there are something that will change which is think not. |
