141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need your advice on: September 03, 2020, 08:00:50 AM
Since you are about to start investing, maybe it is better if you will start investing on trx and xrp. They are both cheap and good enough for starters especially if you are the kind of investor with small budget. They both offer a great opportunity and their development is continuous compared to other altcoins.

142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why isn't there an official bitcoin wallet? on: September 02, 2020, 11:41:55 AM
There is no official bitcoin wallet because it is decentralized. The only one who are in control with our wallet is ourselves, owners. If there is an official wallet, it only means that it is being controlled and handled by a third party, being decentralized will be useless and the true function of bitcoin will be set aside.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Fees on: September 02, 2020, 10:59:31 AM
Yes it will. The reason is because of defi projects. We can't do anything about that, for the meantime, the only thing we can do is to wait for everything to go back to normal and for the launch of eth v2. This will probably help to get everything back to normal especially the high fees that we are facing right now.
144  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 Bitpr0.com | The Ultimate Crypto Directory on: September 02, 2020, 08:29:42 AM
I like the design of the website, and the arrangement of each link is regular.
It's like one-stop services which give easiness to a visitor who wants to know about what is inside the crypto worlds.
They can know what is recommended website for each field, so if they want to trade, gamble, or even shopping, they will found out by browse on each category on that site.
I hope that the website will still update with the useful information, so the visitor can learn the new things that will always come out every day.
The next thing that the OP should do is promote his website in social media, hire some people to help the promotion, or use the other ways, so that can help the website to be known by many people out there.

Your site is very nice, aside from it load so fast compared to other websites, I also like the dark theme which I always use if available in any websites. But it would be better if you have the option to turn off the dark theme for other users who prefer light mode.
This will be very useful to all of us, but I agree to @Haunebu, users needs your reviews to use as reference whether they will use the site or not.
145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You have to prove that you can take the loss on: August 29, 2020, 11:55:27 PM
This law has good intentions but it is still lack basis for the gamblers. I understand that they are trying to save those gamblers who are having financial problems but I think this is not the solution, they can try to provide professional help for those gamblers maybe, but they are trying to pass a law that has so many loopholes.

And the law can affect the casinos and other gamblers too. I may not have the right solution but I hope they can really find the best one for their good intentions, but I think this ain't it.

I do not see any good intentions in considering an adult as incompetent. I think that this is a limitation in rights and quite serious - in fact, we have to prove/obtain permission to use our own money. I think this is a step towards totalitarianism. I am sure that if the government does not receive a rebuff with such initiatives, then it continues to invade all spheres of life and dictate conditions (often absurd), of course, "with the best of intentions."
This is something that we shouldn't be done. Our own hard-earned money is something that we should freely use. If this law will make require us to prove and obtain permission to use our money, then it seems that they don't have any good intentions. It will look like "our money, is their money."
146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What has bitcoin done for you? on: August 29, 2020, 11:31:08 PM
What bitcoin has done to me is that it gives me the knowledge to start and continue to move forward, and it also opens my eyes to how an investment works. I have learned a lot of things and it gives me the opportunity to make money from my investment.
147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Legal Matter on: August 29, 2020, 11:09:14 PM
I think Us government is smart enough and by disallowing online gambling they are preserving their Las Vegas casinos from falling down in revenue.I think Las Vegas casinos give to Us government enough revenue from taxes and they don’t want to get less through online gambling. That is the reason Us government does not care at all to allow online gambling.

The problem with disallowing online gambling is that you don't stop people from actually playing all you do is moving it abroad and outside of your jurisdiction. In today's time with everyone having access to internet it doesn't really matter where the casino is based, you can access it from anywhere. And if some websites are banned you can just use a VPN.
I think a country should not outright ban online casinos, better to control and regulate them. And also profit from tax revenues.

I do agree. So, basically, the US government did not make a smart move by disallowing online gambling, it is not by preserving their Las Vegas casinos but making their citizens move and find another online gambling wherever it was based.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi hype the same as ICO hype in 2017? on: August 29, 2020, 10:45:41 PM

investors had learned a lot since the last time, i'm not sure if its the same as 2017 ICO. defi is different and because we learned from the past we might not at all invest to every defi and so the ones that are just making it good and legit are the ones going to survive. the new defi projects offered today could likely not get funds at all. but the ones already working are the ones that will have more investors.
Investors had learned their lessons but we cannot remove the fact that this DeFi hype is just the same as ICO before. Yes, this is different, but as we can all see, DeFi suddenly get the hype that no one really expected just the same as ICO before.
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have shared about bitcoin on my class on: August 29, 2020, 10:16:59 PM
That was a good opportunity not only on your side but also for this community. We all know that there are lots of deceptive advertising that happens, it is their way to scam more people. But that's a good way to change what and how they think about bitcoin. This way, they will at least have to know about bitcoin in a positive way.
150  Economy / Gambling / Re: WavesPlay.com - Dice, Coin Flip, Referral for Life - Live on Chain on: August 29, 2020, 09:31:47 PM
WavesPlay.com has been closed down. It has never yielded a profit, and a single player has just today emptied its stock of Waves, Bitcoin and USDN. I am sorry for everyone involved.
That's very unfortunate, even being active and answering questions of the players in this forum, your website still come to an end. Well, that's how business works, there are really some risks that you will need to face, and not all the time, you can make a profit with facing that risk.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can new crypto beat Eth in the market? on: August 29, 2020, 09:09:41 PM
Do you think that any new crypto currency overtake Eth in times of price value can that be possible?
It is possible, there are new other cryptos in the market that has a higher value than eth. Though, most of them are just a shitcoin that the price is being manipulated.

And if you are also talking about the position of eth for being the top 2, it is also possible. Before, the xrp grabbed the second position beating ethereum but it only takes for a couple of days.
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Satoshi Stop bitcoin? on: August 29, 2020, 11:04:12 AM
do you think he has the capacity to stop it again?
What do you mean by stopping it again? I don't remember or see anything in history that satoshi nakamoto stop it before. What I know is, his real identity and whereabout is unknown. It also means that bitcoin continue to move forward and no one stop it before, not even satoshi himself.
153  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chips.gg casino on bitcointalk? on: August 29, 2020, 10:23:29 AM
There are no other information about this. I also tried to find any helpful information but it seems that they are still in the stage of development. It might be better if we will wait for them to launch and confirm by that time if they are legit or not.
If they are willing to give that much amount of money for their launch, then maybe they will use this forum to get more traffic. It will be a good move for them if they do.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CAN WE STILL GET THE 2017 BULL IN THIS 2020? on: August 29, 2020, 09:12:09 AM
We have seen series of predictions in the last three months when bitcoin had its last halving. The prices kept rising until two weeks ago.
Now that the prices are falling again, when will the time like 2017 be experienced again in the cryptocurrencies community.
The predictions by most people was, it is possible for the bull run to happen by the next following months. It can be this year or by next year. There is no exact date but many have been expecting it to happen. It might be not the same as 2017, or maybe better than what we experienced. We do not know, but it is possible to happen.
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Patience above all will be rewarded here on: August 28, 2020, 08:57:45 PM
The people who buy in rallies and sell during bear markets and then don't believe in bitcoin anymore are clowns. If the price went to 25k in the next few months I guarantee it that the community will double maybe even quadruple in just a few days.
I don't think that the people who are selling during bear markets and those who do not believe in bitcoin anymore are clowns. Maybe they have their own personal reason that even if they wanted to continue, they just can't due to their reason. Especially those people who sells at bear market, maybe they can't take it to see their investment falling which is instead of making a profit, they got loss.
156  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid 19 shows how weak People are in the it mind on: August 27, 2020, 11:52:01 PM
This covid 19  shows how weak People are in their mind instead of complaining everyone need to Think how They can benefit from this new situation.

Stop complaining and see this as Opportunity!

We have now more Opportunities then ever before!
I think this covid 19 is good time.
The banks giving now even more money!
And You do not need to worry about paying back loans just wait for 7-10 years and debt will expire.

There is so many Opportunities now
The reason for that is because people are not in the same boat.
What I mean is, we are all in a different situation, this might be an opportunity for you but it is not for most people especially those who only have enough salary for their daily living.

The debt that you are talking about, it is not that easy, mate. It might expire, but their name is at stake there.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does bounty still kind of worth on 2020? on: August 27, 2020, 11:01:47 PM
It is still worth it to participate in bounties even if there are so many changes happened. It is just that, there is so much scam bounty compared to the legit ones. It is really hard to find the legit one, and the payment is really low compared to the old bounty campaigns. Everything was changed, even the rules, number of participants, and so on.
158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I can't wait until I can pay using bitcoin at the supermarket on: August 27, 2020, 10:40:48 PM
Just a feeling I have. It's all credit cards and dollars and shit.

Yeah, I'd rather spend the shit money and save my bitcoins, but I can't wait until I can use real money everywhere. I'd rather get paid in bitcoin and spend bitcoin.
Dont hope that much because this thing is almost impossible to happen.Im not really that against nor doesnt trust up btc or crypto but as long do government do exist then money/fiat will surely exist.

I know the feels of being optimistic but too much of it will just really frustrate you if you do wait up for the moment that you had been hoping for.If you do save up btc then its good yet we know on when it comes to potential but we do accept the fact that this will really be just an option and not would become the primary currency that would completely replace fiats.

Government would be the number one who would oppose such changes.
Same thought, it will be impossible since btc is not being controlled by the government. Unlike in fiat, it is being regulated by the government. Also, aside from the said reason, volatility is a real problem for business establishments. As far as I know, there are some businesses who tried to accept btc before, but they stop it immediately because of the same reason.
159  Economy / Gambling / Re: Saito: Come help us test our games! on: August 27, 2020, 06:41:31 AM
I don't believe Li Xiaolai, Bobby Lee and Roger Lim has really tried your product I really doubt it multiple times. What's with downloading the Saito whenever I opened the site? By the way, I played the Chess game and voilá it crashes and paused a lot.
I also think the same thing. This might be fake to gather more people to try their website. Since this is a new website, if there are some known personality who will try it, more people will come.

I'm not too technical about this i tried your chess game but it looks like my opponent is not moving is my enemy a real person? i do like that you have many arcade games.
Probably not a real person. I also tried it, the site is still new, there is no way that we can face another person in real time.
160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For the kind attention of the Gambling sites , a small suggestion on: August 21, 2020, 06:26:02 AM
We cannot blame the gambling casinos here for our kids if they will be involved in gambling. Because that is our responsibility to guide them in a right way for their own better future. Kepp communicating them and monitor their activity will help them to be a good person someday. So KYC is not important, that can help for privacy protection of the player.

Yes, in these situations, the gambling casino is like a tool for every people, whether they want to use the casino or not. But if that is related to our kids, we need to take care of them, don't let them online alone, especially if they are in their room for a long time. We can teach them about something good instead of letting them use their mobile phones or laptops or computers to search for something they don't know. If they want to search for something, we need to stay beside them to teach or tell them. Perhaps, KYC is still required if the government still insists on knowing about the people who often play gambling and want to get tax from the casino.
tool ? to escape the reality for a while and to have fun or forget problems temporarily  . for adults only but for kids , kids have thier own kind of fun and its not gambling  . not saying gambling is bad but its a habit to us that we should teach kids educational stuffs until they are on their right age  . i agree that we must watch our kids when they use electronic devices but if this is not possible , we can check the history of the browsers to see if they visit gambling site or not .
I think you misunderstood what he said.
He said that gambling is a tool for everyone, but it excludes the kids since he stated that if it is related to the kids, the adult ones are the one who is responsible to take care of them.

To OP, I think this should really give attention, there's a lot of possible problems they might face if kids will really get into online casinos. Even without requiring KYC, but there should be some kind of security to avoid kids to get in.
