1401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE To The Moon on: January 30, 2021, 03:50:11 AM
Doge coin making waves to surprises this month and perhaps because of the gamestop adoption for this coin and also people behind it that pushing the price up high. I had these coins long ago and got it on some free faucets and didn't care at all not until now it sky rocketed all time highs. Strong hands are likely the big winners of these pump.

The price is dropping again and may be it will never go up any more. It was a big pump yesterday and many investors made a good profit from that. We do not know for sure if that is the end of its rise now. This can also be a time the  doge team consider burning so it can increase price and value of the token.
1402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DogeCoin Selling on: January 29, 2021, 08:19:35 PM
Well, you have a great chance to sell them.  Doge went straight invincibly.  Right now, you can see a green doge's trend moving.  > 600% in the last 3 days, despite bitcoin's swaying trend, the barrier has broken, and it's great for you to get a huge profit. congratulations

You think the price will ever get to 0.50? The price today was a huge movement. I still do not know what caused price to spike. Do you know?

Btw, I really regret selling Dogecoin too fast yesterday, because if I sell it at the right time then I'll be a millionaire in no time. Cry
And what is the right price to sell that you are talking about. Can you give any hint?

the last step is to open your Dogechain wallet then make a withdrawal by pasting your Doge's address in binance. wait a few moments then it will be in Binance, there you can exchange it for bitcoin or your country's currency

Is there no Eth gas fee paid when transferring from a private dogecoin wallet to an exchange? Or the fee is paid as commission in doge?
1403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Polkadot going to Kill Ethereum? on: January 28, 2021, 04:29:58 AM
I am just looking at the project on Polkadot, the quality of projects on Polkadot is more important to me than Polkadot platform itself, look at all the Ethereum Killers in the space, starting from EOS, Tezos, Cosmos etc all have failed to attract good projects on their platform and these Dapps are what help drive up exposure to the blockchain

Waves too was presented as Ethereum killer some years ago but where is Waves today? No way to be seen. It is still struggling at $7. What abut Binance and Ripple? What a sham all those projects are. Once any new project begins to get a rise the next thing is people comparing it with Ethereum or bitcoin to take over from them. Every project have to exist on their own and not be compared to others. Polkadot has alot to do before getting the type of attention Eth has already. No comparison.
1404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Need some help to Understand Bounty campaign on: January 23, 2021, 06:51:24 PM
It could be safe or not safe. What you need to do to see the track record of the bounty manager. I know that you may feel so weird to see that some campaign manager used the newbie account like bounty detective or others but you must see that based on the old campaign that successfully managed by them all.
BD has a good track record and it can be trusted but you can't sure if you will be always getting the legit campaign.

OP is talking about accounts with 2 or 3 activities and not accounts already established. Am sure when Bounty Detectives started it also faced the same credibility issue. Even to this point BD is still not trusted by many looking at some of the bounties it has managed that did not turn out well. Joining bounties is a risk, it does not matter the rank of the manager. Managers are humans too and sometimes they also get deceived.
1405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another attempt to manipulate the market on: January 23, 2021, 06:57:06 AM
We've known cointelegraph as a website who are posting negative and positive news regarding Crypto.

If the site posts that way, it is good then. It shows it is not one sided. It sees good and writes about it and then sees bad and also writes about it. We know that it is not all the time that bitcoin has good news coming from it and such negatve news should also be reported. It is not something bad reporting it. Objective reporting is good journalism.
1406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with nonsignificant altcoins on: January 22, 2021, 08:43:33 AM
I'm talking stuff like Monero, XLM, etc. With BTC so high, does it make more sense to trade them for BTC, or for USD?

Why do you refer to those tokens as nonsignificant? I think that is not right. What is nonsignificant altcoins are those tokens that do not have sustainable programmes and focus and we can see them disappear once they are put on exchanges. Monero and Stellar are great tokens which may be having low moments now but that does not put them as bad tokens.
1407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO was fair, IEO did well, STO flopped, now IDO - Is it going to survive? on: January 13, 2021, 06:52:57 PM
I have some coins invested here. I became interested only when I saw the inclusion of decentralized finance (DeFi). In conclusion, it is suitable for investment and perfect for trading.

There is no where the OP mentioned decentralised finance in the post, so where did you get it from? Are you shitposting to get your counts up or what are we to call this?
1408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: again a Bitcoin millionaire who forgot his password on: January 13, 2021, 06:14:18 AM
Lost coins only make everyone else's coins worth slightly more.  Think of it as a donation to everyone.

This is confusing. How is it a donaton to everyone when the owner can not even get the bitcoin out of the stored device? If he fails to get his password and gain access to the coins it means they are lost forever. May be Satoshi spoke in parable there.
1409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens? on: December 25, 2020, 06:13:28 AM
Investing in crypto already risky enough and yet you are looking for new coins mostly doesn't make their project ready and price or the team has no track record. Well they can make you earn a lot but probably you may end up big loss.

OP want to try a new thing and that is why he is asking. Some people like adventures to experiment with. Sometimes I do that also especially when I want to play around with money not required for something serious. This is a simple way of been reckless financially but you can get lucky and win some times.
1410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't repeat same mistakes on: December 23, 2020, 06:23:56 PM
Actually, I'm on the same boat like you mentioned, though I never bought bitcoin at that price or so, it just that I didn't sell my holdings while bitcoin was on 20k or 18k~ish thinking that it will still recover (I guess most of us had did the same). But anyway, those past will not happen again since I learned a lot from those bullrun, hope everyone should as well.

Have you sold already following the comment you make here not to be caught like those who made the mistake of holding in 2017? But bitcoin has surpassed its 2017 record and still rising. Nobody knows where the crash for this time will happen but there are still traders buying at this current rising prices. Should people stop buying now. Is that the advice?
1411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An example why we should hold bitcoin on: December 21, 2020, 04:03:59 PM
Alot of people will love to save their bitcoin by holding it but I know many of this people may not have extra cash to keep thrm going except they sell their Bitcoins. It is not that people do not know how valuable bitcoin will be in years to come but poverty is a factor here against people holding it.
1412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm dumping my coins because.. on: December 21, 2020, 09:26:40 AM
I am also one of those who always hold coins and don't rush to sell coins obtained from bounties. There are several things that cause us to immediately sell the coins, maybe one of them is because we don't care about the project and we are in need of money. In addition, there are no profitable prospects of the project in the future, so there are many bounty hunters who sell their coins as soon as they are on the market.

Some of those who sell too quick get lucky too because most times new tokens crash after they come to the market and the bounty hunters get to loose everything. I think it is wise decision to dump to avoid regret. If the token rises in value after you have sold, do not regret  your action.
1413  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin touch 22000$. 🤑 what's Next? on: December 17, 2020, 07:33:08 AM
Bitcoin is now over 21k+ now we can ATH and its touch 22k+ What you think about btc next move?

What I think is bitcoin should continue to increase without any fall. One way up and no return to dump is my wish. Many people will say that is not possible to achieve without a fall but it is my wish. Bitcoin has made an impressive mark in 2020 and with the way Bitcoin is moving it can get to $40,000 before the end of the year.
1414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New feature on AltcoinsTalks forum - you can teleport your rank from bitcointalk on: December 15, 2020, 08:04:43 AM
What do you mean by tagged ?
Tag means when someone's account is marked red by a DT member for an offence.

1416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season probably won't happen like the past? on: December 10, 2020, 06:50:36 PM
More than 90% of altcoins are junk anyway, and we'd be better off without them.

Am sure alot of people also said that about bitcoin. Many also called bitcoin a scam when it started out 10 years ago. But we know the story has changed now and many have embraced it. This is the same way I know many will turn back a few years from now to call the 90% you call junk nice tokens. I do not think your statistics is accurate that the bad altcoins are up to 90%. Your comment is an exaggeration.
1417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New feature on AltcoinsTalks forum - you can teleport your rank from bitcointalk on: December 10, 2020, 11:33:50 AM
Yes I have a high rank here too.

You are a Full member. Do you consider a Full member as a high rank? I do not think it is. But this is just by the way. My question on this is "does the Altcointalk forum have the same ranking scheme as Bitcointalk forum? Since an imported rank will take on the same rank over there. Another question is this, 'will a tagged account here also appear as tagged over there?
1418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it December a good time to invest in new ICOS? on: December 10, 2020, 09:47:58 AM
Not only December but also the last quarter of the year is a blessing of cryptocurrency especially Bitcoin.

Investors usually take profits in December, so I think it is not a good time to invest in Bitcoin. You can buy after the likely fall in price that will happen this month if you want to invest in Bitcoin. If you still insist on buying now, then buy token because there prices are very low now.

Are ICOs still going on? I thought ICOs were being replaced by IEO. I used to follow ICOs a lot.

Yes there is stil ICOs going on as well as IEOS. None has replaced the other.
1419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC vs GOLD on: December 10, 2020, 08:26:56 AM

People will once in a while move their cash from one investment platform to another and that is what they have done from gold and other assets to Bitcoin now. It is not something new as everyone want to always safeguard their capital and keep a good profit margin. Soon, the money from Bitcoin will also move out elsewhere either to altcoins or to stocks or even back to gold. It is a circle.
1420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in the spotlight again! on: December 09, 2020, 09:03:48 AM
People love success stories and that is why whenever price favours bitcoin the media goes crazy with the news and then more buying sets in. This is the moment alot of traders have waited for since the last two years. Because of the volatile nature of bitcoin I find it very difficult advicing anyone to but it. I do not like people crying to me if they buy on my advice and their portfolio goes down in red. I can talk to them about bitcoin but not force them to buy it. Those I talk to should be the ones deciding by themselves whether to buy or not.
