1401  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 23, 2013, 10:26:01 PM
Only 45,000 shares to take it to 0.001 btc per share on Bitfunder.

Goes to show that on good news the price will recover rapidly.

0.001 isn't quite a recovery... !

Good news will result in a rapid recovery of share price.

This always happens...sell orders disappear and we pump on low volume. This time we will stay up there and hopefully more volume will come.

This will definitely crash the price if we have to transfer manually...

Im not a US citizen but don't want to be registered with weexchange, will there be an option other than manually transferring to this exchange before ACTM has everything good to go on their exchange.

Also, yea where did the extra 600K shares come from?

Virtual Mining Corporation just mentioned in Bloomberg News and has an eASIC press release to boot... WHAT A SCAM

Virtual Mining Corp. started taking orders for its equipment in July, with one recent purchase reaching $140,000, Chief Executive Officer Kenneth Slaughter said.
We are starting to do a lot of big sales,” said Slaughter, who is also mining Bitcoins."

If I was able, which i am not as a resident and citizen of the USA, currently blocked from doing so on Bitfunder, I would spend my recently received dividends on buying more shares of Active Mining, since  I have full faith in Lord Satoshi and HIS prophet Ken Slaughter who will bless us all with high dividends, BIG sales and loads of Terra hash and eventual high share prices of Active Mining on a fully legal and public stock exchange.

Please repeat that catechism with me.

What about using a proxy?

Big boost for Virtual Mining Corp.

I have my eye on this company and apparently some big players do too

1410  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 15, 2013, 02:17:07 AM
So there will be an escrow system, but will there be an easy way to receive and place bids besides on bitcointalk?

Maybe a third party website designed by someone not related to Activemining Corp. could be developed (I dont know code but just a suggestion)
1411  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: October 14, 2013, 05:47:21 AM
Seriously. This is a good day for any bitcoiners that suddenly want to line their pockets with yuan.
It means the US government just lost their window of opportunity to kill Bitcoin, even if they closed down every exchange that touches USD tomorrow.

+1 its only gonna get better with time!
1412  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: October 14, 2013, 04:44:22 AM
So what happens when all the coins finally leave Gox?
They're going to China.

Seriously. This is a good day for any bitcoiners that suddenly want to line their pockets with yuan.

+1 its only gonna get better with time!

ANNOUNCEMENT

Short Term Solution:

We now have a solution to the Bitfunder problem for our Investors who choose or are forced to not stay on Bitfunder.  Our own Stock Exchange is finished and is undergoing final implemtation testing and setup.  Due to the current environment we will not be enabling trading on this site; however, it will be used to store anyones shares and to pay dividends.

After we obtain legal advice which says that we are ok to do this, we will implement on the site, a direct escrow transfer system.

Long Term Solution:

We will implement a direct transfer system using colored coins.

This is great to hear! Alot of attention will be brought to ACTM if we are the first ones to implement colored coins.

Also with no trading allowed on the "new site" this will put demand through the roof! I would feel uneasy if this was the case for an extended period of time however

Good stuff!

Thanks Ken!
1415  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 11, 2013, 09:08:41 PM
Can anyone confirm the time when sample chips arrive.  The beginning of the thread states 9 weeks (is that from the time the thread was posted or from when he paid EASIC?)

I see the question was asked a few times and didn't see an answer.  Seems like 9 weeks would place the sample chips coming at the end of november about the same time that preorders are promised?

Bumping my same question again.

I believe its 9 weeks after the NRE is paid...which was early August.
This puts us at mid-late October for sample chips.

Better pick up those cheap shares while you still can kiddies!
1416  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 11, 2013, 04:03:32 PM

Thinking about buying http://virtualminingcorp.com/shop1/index.php?id_product=21&controller=product

this one^

Do you guys know if this are shipping to europe?

Do they offer refunds if they don't ship on time?

Just have this questions before buying one.

Yes they are offering refunds if the product doesnt ship on time. and shipping is worldwide
1418  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 10, 2013, 07:20:40 PM
Did I read that right?  That Ken said he would be able to deploy his miners for these color coins?  There is a reason why we can't use current ASICs to mine for litecoins and other altcoins, and end up resorting to GPU mining.   Are these Fast Hash machines about to break this rule?  I'd like to see an elaboration of this idea that you can use this technology to mine for other coins.. I've never heard of this before!

I believe Ken is referring to a merge-mined coin similar to namecoin which would let us avoid 51% attack.
It would obviously have to be sha-256 and Ken obviously knows that.

Why are you playing dumb and being so cynical?
1419  Economy / Securities / Re: Cloudhashing ASIC mining contracts, UK LTD company - Now Mining & Paying Bitcoin on: October 10, 2013, 04:35:14 PM
Just FYI guys, refunds are available.
Cloudhashing isnt being honest with you guys and thats not ok.

I received a refund for my contract after sending them a fairly degrading email with 10+ vulgar words in it. They then offered me a refund saying they didnt want to work with me, after all the delays I accepted it.

Im glad im out of this fiasco now. CH clearly hasnt been truthful and have never proved their hashrate.
1420  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 10, 2013, 04:28:37 PM
Is there any way to buy shares of ActiveMining right now if you're in the US?  I want some of these cheap shares!

use a proxy to make it look like your IP is coming from somewhere else

You still need to be 100% verified with we exhcange providing documentation outside the usa

Im sure there will be an alternative if you hold your shares....who the hell is going to send all their info to weexchange??

A new exchange will open and Bitfunder will die.
