1401  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎰 What software of online casino slots do you prefer? on: May 10, 2023, 06:01:18 AM
I am also a "Relax gaming" fan, because I feel that I win more on their games, but the saying is... "No risk, no reward", so I tend to lean more to the high volatility games, like with Hacksaw Gaming.  Tongue

In the end, most of the wins are determined by a combination between the client seed and the server seed and also the RNG, so the RTP and volatility only play a small part in that. In the lower volatility games, people will win more often, but it will be smaller wins... and with the higher volatility.. they will win less, but when they win it might be much higher.

So it depends on your amount of money that you have to play with.... if you have enough to ride out the higher volatility, then play those games.... but if you have a small budget, go for the lower volatility games.  Tongue

Do not let your wheel chair be the crutch that holds you down, because in many countries people with disabilities get preference in job opportunities, because of certain government requirements that has to be adhered to.

Did you know that Hal Finney spend most of the last years of his life in a wheel chair and he was coding Bitcoin to the end. He was one of the pioneers of Bitcoin and even being sick and disabled, still contributed to one of the most significant technologies of our generation.

You also know about the World-famous physicist Stephen Hawking that are tied to to wheel chair... but that did not stop him. So, you are the one that can rise above that wheel chair ...and you are the person that will be successful ...not the wheel chair.  Wink
1403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you prefer Original Slots or slots from 3rd party Slot providers? on: May 10, 2023, 05:34:03 AM
So based on what I have read so far, 3rd party Slots are coming out at the top, for being the preferred Slots to play by gamblers. It seems as though the design of the Slot and all the "Bells and whistles" of the GUI has won over their hearts.  Grin

I have to admit, the in-house original slots are kind of boring... so it might explain why people would rather go for slots that are more entertaining. I like the discussion so far, it is giving casinos a good insight into what is lacking from their in-house games and how they can improve it.  Cool
1404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you prefer Original Slots or slots from 3rd party Slot providers? on: May 09, 2023, 06:04:12 AM
I prefer to use original slots for wagering, because the RTP is much better for the player... so you can wager more for the same amount of money. (This is good, if the casino has some kind of VIP ranking system)

The 3rd party Slots on the other hand, have great graphics and sound and better pay lines...so if I am in the mood to have some fun, I will rather opt to play some 3rd party slots.

I will also use original games with a better RTP to build my balance to play more 3rd party slots. (Example : Dice strategies or Crash)
1405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Experienced Winning Bets By Upsets on: May 09, 2023, 05:56:49 AM
I like to bet on the underdog in UFC fights, because it only takes one good punch or kick to turn the fight. I also do this, because the winning potential is bigger, based on the odds that are placed by the bookies.  Grin

I seldom bet large amounts on the underdog, when I do this... because you tend to lose more in the long-run if you do. So bet small on underdogs and bigger on the favorites to maximize your potential profits.  Wink
1406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Do you prefer Original Slots or slots from 3rd party Slot providers? on: May 09, 2023, 05:48:09 AM
This goes out to all the Slot players out there.....

A lot of casinos have their own original Slots that are unique to their casino, most of these consist of a variation of old games with a personal twist from that casino. (Example : Crash - Different themes like planes / stock market / athlete running etc..)

Then you get 3rd party Slot providers like Pragmatic / Hacksaw Gaming etc.. that provides Slot games to casinos.

My question is this, which one of the two do you prefer and why do you like it more than the other. (Original vs 3rd Party Slots)

Let's discuss ....  Wink
1407  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Mining is Good for Environment on: May 09, 2023, 05:38:42 AM
Yes, with all the negative publicity in the media, more and more miners are moving towards a more environmentally friendly electricity source, so we can say that a shift to geo-thermal and hydro and solar are being accelerated by miners looking for more eco friendly alternatives.

OP, thank you for posting this counter argument to this debate, it is good ammunition against the argument that Crypto mining are bad for the environment.  Wink
1408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has become un-useable. Switch to altcoins or short sell on: May 09, 2023, 05:23:07 AM
Why should people switch to shit coins that has almost zero hash rate backing them, compared to Bitcoin? Monero are a privacy coin that are used mostly for illegal activities on the Darkweb, so it will never get any acceptance by any government in this world.

Solana has nothing special.... it peaked for a short time and then it went "Poof" like the magic dragon. I think you have to stop shilling for Alt coins and start using the Lightning Network, if you want fast transactions in times of an attack.  Wink
1409  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: May 08, 2023, 06:03:53 AM
Spoken about bonus.

If people chasing some bonus from rain but are lazzy to watching the stream, you can use these channel: https://t.me/RainsTEAM they shared the code is being shared during the stream.

Suitable for me or people who don't watching the stream but want to get some bonus.

Well, the point of the bonus codes are actually for an incentive for people to watch the stream. I cannot blame you for doing this, because a lot of my friends are working every second weekend and they cannot watch the stream... so they distribute the code via WhatsApp groups.

In any way.... if those people get the rewards for their wagering... then it is still fair. They sit during the week and they wager the amount that is required and they claim the reward for it. (So I do not have a problem with that)
1410  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2022-03-23]Thailand Bans Use of Cryptocurrencies as a Method of Payment on: May 08, 2023, 05:50:58 AM
So, they are actually protecting their local currency, the Thai Baht. People must never underestimate the power that these governments have over citizens, when they can manipulate the value of the local currency. (The government have full control over the supply and they can manipulate the value of that currency)

It is also about their "image" ...because you find that a lot of the presidents have their face plastered all over Bank notes and the governors signature on the notes. (It is a huge ego boost for them)  Roll Eyes
1411  Other / Archival / Re: The bitcoin blockchain is on its knees again on: May 08, 2023, 05:41:16 AM
I do not know if you guys remembered the time when a casino (I think it was SatoshiDice) had all their bets on the Blockchain at one stage and it caused a lot of congestion. The forum went crazy and people agreed that use cases like this was causing too much congestion on-chain.

Well, that site is not operational anymore and things resolved it self.... so it is time for us to either find solutions for the problem OR to get rid of the problem. (Example : Creating a off-chain solution for those types of transactions)  Huh
1412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Has Taught Me to Dream Big on: May 07, 2023, 03:21:05 PM
What actually happened to you, was that you find the "true" product that has no scam connected to it. Something that you can "sell" to people, without feeling guilty that it is a scam.

Unfortunately MLM's and Ponzi schemes have followed the technology and they too are using Bitcoin as a payment option for their scams... this is giving Bitcoin a bad reputation.... because the people invested in that... seem to think that they are invested in Bitcoin.  Angry
1413  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why Opening an Account in a Bitcoin Sportsbook is the Future of Sports Betting on: May 07, 2023, 09:33:58 AM
OP, has not specifically posted any Sportsbook in his thread, so I do not see why we should take him or her apart for that? In any way, the information posted is relevant and it provides reasons for people to prefer online sportsbooks to brick n mortar operations.

So, it gives users of online platforms the facts on why online sports books are better than land based operations. This will benefit all the people who wants to promote any online Sport platform.  Roll Eyes
1414  Economy / Economics / Re: China Digital yuan vs US dollars on: May 07, 2023, 09:24:44 AM
You might have noticed that China are buying up most of the Gold in existence too, so you might find a future where China introduces some kind of currency that are backed by Gold. That is a currency that will be very popular, but also something that would need a lot of transparency ....which China are not known for in the past.  Roll Eyes

People have seen the debt in the USA and they are seeing large Banks making the same mistakes in the USA, so they have reasons to doubt the US Dollar.  Roll Eyes
1415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Bitcoin in Student Life on: May 07, 2023, 09:15:11 AM
Ok, first of all.... Bitcoin is not an investment... it's supposed to be an alternative payment option.  Wink

You have a few problems that you have to solve, before you start buying bitcoins...namely :

1. Where are you going to sell your bitcoins, if it is illegal in your country.
2. How do you declare the proceeds of your trades for tax purposes?

We do not want you to break the laws and go to jail for tax evasion, before you even started your career. So, be careful and do your research before you start buying and selling crypto currencies.

Hint : Buy and then go to a country where it is legal and sell it there.... then use the cash there.  Grin
1416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling or gaming sites on: May 06, 2023, 11:41:03 AM
I think a lot of these sites are targeting "gamblers" in the USA..where there are strict restrictions on gambling. It is fine if it is some kind of sweepstakes, but you not allowed to be rewarded with money.... so they use some kind of token that can be redeemed for either prizes or even something that can be sold for cash.

So, they look like "gaming" sites, but they are actually gambling sites with a reward system... that are not monetary. (Not cash or Fiat currencies)  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
1417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Questions of the day for gamblers on: May 06, 2023, 11:31:56 AM
You cannot trust the reported RTP, because you need to do 1 000 000+ bets to validate it... and how many people have say $50 000 to bet 1 000 000 x $0.05 bets to test that?

There are not a lot of skill in playing Slots, because it takes your Client Seed and they mix it with a RNG and a Server seed and it calculates the win or lose. You cannot change the outcome of that bet, no matter how much skill you think you may have.  Roll Eyes
1418  Economy / Gambling / Re: Land base slot vs Online slot RTP on: May 06, 2023, 10:37:37 AM
The real question is this :

How do you determine if the RTP being used by 3rd party Slot providers and original games.... are what is shown by the online casino? This is not validated by any regulatory organization.

The RTP and the RNG and the server seed are audited by authorities with oversight on the operations of brick n mortar casinos. (land based) ..so you know the configuration of the slots are what is advertised. (It is written to a CHIP and it is logged by the machines)

So do not believe that the configuration of the online slots are what it is supposed to be.... because it takes 1 000 000+ bets to test it.  Angry
1419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US Congress Meeting On Bitcoin Adoption on: May 06, 2023, 10:28:51 AM
The US are going to make drastic changes to their Crypto currency policies, because there are already a lot of things being done to replace the US Dollar as a global reserve currency. The BRICS countries are trying to create their own Crypto alternative and this is not going down well with the US government.  Roll Eyes

Also, it is worth mentioning that Crypto currencies are being used by sanctioned countries to bypass these sanctions and that is another reason why the US government are not happy with Crypto currencies.  Roll Eyes
1420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Big is the online gambling industry today? on: May 05, 2023, 05:55:25 AM
I think "marketing" has significantly increased during the Covid pandemic, with people spending more time online and working from home. Social media and specifically "streaming" platforms have made the biggest impact on online gambling.

The co-owner of Stake.com are streaming every Saturday on Dlive and as part of this streaming session, they pick people randomly to choose a slot and then the winning money goes to that person, this session draws about 20 000 viewers and he always ask the chosen people ...where they have heard about Stake. (90%+ of those people will tell him that it was from some gambling streamer that they have watched)

So, you have a bunch of paid streamers, gambling with casino money and people believe that they can do the same.  Roll Eyes
